It`s been raining in kind old Britain in over the last week. And awfully windy.

To my look. I`ve invested in another breastfeeding dress, nobody would ever guess it`s a nursing dress as it looks mainly like a skirt and a tee shirt. It allows me to feed my son easily and discretely whilst out and about. Mint colour is still quiet on trend and polka dot is timeless. Will be looking for some more tops and dresses of this kind as they are very handy clothes.

Summer make-up, colour crush green

Green is the colour I`m having a crush on now.

Unfortunately I`m not going on holidays this Summer, please don`t count those weekends at the sea in Wales or South Coast, so this definitely not going to be a beach chic make-up. I need something bright and colourful but not too bright and colourful as I would be wearing in Spain or Greece lying on a sun and enjoying the sea. This must be something appropriate for British Summer in order not to shock tourists and old couples in Llandudno or Brighton.

Here`s an inspiration of what I`m pretty much after.
An intense green eye shadows and deep pink lips or very warm natural pastel lipstick.

I`m off to practice doing this now. Have you ever tried bright green eye shadows? Any tips?

I may slightly change a direction towards children fashion but this is exactly where my life takes me to now. With two children to look after I`ve got a daily task to dress them and that`s even more challenging than how to dress myself, because children are very demanding.

Straight to the topic, this is an Outfit 1 of our three looks series. Faux sheepskin waist coat has a boho feel to it so I went with a corduroy floral dress and a crochet hat of bright neon colour. I`m on lookout for bright things now, while I`m not too brave to wear literary neon I`m opting for more apple-green colour for me.

Countryside is just perfect place for outdoors plays.

As probably most of you know my passion for bold colours and prints, it`s so nice children can now be treated with a fabulous designer, and what is very important, affordable clothes.

It`s obvious children love to be as fashionable as grown ups (heh, if not more than we are!) so it was so great to find more than just a classical pink and purple clothes I used to see around.

I`ve decided to finish this week, as well as this month, off with a new outfit post. Can`t believe May is already finished, I`m slowly getting into sort of a schedule with my 1 month old son, being a mum is a hard work, I must say, how good I`ve got a 4 years old helper here.

After all, I`m so looking forward to the whole Summer ahead to experiment with light and bright style clothes. What I can do for now is just to try adding bright accents to everyday looks.

Dress find

Well, finally finally I`ve managed to get myself a nursing dress suitable for breastfeeding. Believe me or not it turned to be quiet difficult to find a dress good enough to wear in transitional Spring-Summer time yet be casual and comfortable.

As a mum who`s been breastfeeding a daughter for nearly 2 years (I deserve a medal, don`t I:) I can say that it was tricky to stay in fashion as what you can mainly find on market is endless variations of jersey wrap maternity dresses and tops and no choice of clothes designed for different figure types.

On a good note we`re enjoying cold Spring and beautiful tree and flower blossoms.

Fascination with ballet

Haven`t I ever told you about my fascination with ballet? Obviously I`ve got it almost from my childhood when we used to visit theatres with my parents, the performances look like a magic on stage.

Quiet simply because it`s so beautiful!

While I was expecting my daughter I was into reading ballet books. Now she`s been dancing from the age of three focusing on ballet of course. It`s great to pass your interests to your children even if she`s never going to be a prima this will always stay in her beautiful child memories.

Floral prints from my wardrobe

Beautiful Spring days like today inspire me to sort my clothes and look out for floral prints. While it`s only been a couple weeks since I gave a birth to my son it`s a bit difficult to identify my current size and get the clear point of what I`m going to wear this Spring at all.

I`m also struggling to find a perfect dress suitable for breastfeading at the moment and was surprised to see that there`s not much choice from high street retailers probably to a low demand which is not very good.

It`s my 32nd birthday today, I feel tired but very happy indeed, valuing and enjoying each and every minute of this beautiful life. This year I`ve got the most special present, my precious little son. What else could you wish for!

During these long winter months of my pregnancy I used to wear dresses so it was quiet hard to pull a jeans on today. While they are sitting well (surprisingly!?) I still feel a bit weird. Dresses rule!

Spring make up colours

Still no sign of Spring and while I can`t do any new Spring inspired outfits due to my 9 months pregnancy now, I`m pretty much into make-up stuff at the moment. It`s always interesting to explore a new field you`ve never been in, knowing the fact that I`ve never been keen on things like make-up or jewellery before.

Inspiration is everywhere, even in flowers, homegrown by the way, as I find tulips the easiest flowers to grow. They`ve got a very tender combination of light green and pink and wish I could wear something light and breezy in these colours as well.

Whenever I travel I always have an interest in architecture of the town or city, particularly houses and mansions where people do live in.

This is not a curiosity it`s just a fly of imagination.
Imagining myself living here or there, what interiors and people would surround me, what lifestyle would I have and at last how would my fashion sense change.

When coming back to an island where the grass is always green and the sky is always gray and the wind is bitterly cold, back to my usual way of life, where I always feel the need of a good warm cardigan and layers of clothing.

It`s a shame I couldn`t write a proper blog post in more than a week time.

Today I`ve got a message from Boots parent`s club saying it`s all very close and I`ll see my baby in some weeks. So I decided to sum up with what I`ve been up to this "Spring" months. Not to mention some time in hospital experiencing false Braxton hicks contractions, trying to distract myself with reading and browsing fashion sites.

Hope you`re all well and not too snowed in.

Geometrical Prints- styling tips

Have you noticed how they are always popular in Spring? Geometrical bold prints are making coming backs each year, so the trend is not new and I`m sure we all have stripes and polka dots in our wardrobes.

Mixing prints with bright colours can make all the difference and work perfectly for smart outfits as well as for funky casual.

Having in mind four colours such as green, yellow, pink an blue, I`ve come up with four different looks.
There`s more and more versions can be done as all the pieces are of a classic cut and all you can do is experiment.

Actually I brought these dresses from my parent`s house about two years ago and completely forgot about them since then.

Believe me or not these are the dresses I was wearing as a little girl so they can proudly be called genuine vintage classified as 30 something years old. I wonder, how they still stay in condition very near to "new, never used" so I had to give them another life and... this is the result. My daughter enjoys wearing them to her nursery, styled mainly as a tops or tunics over leggings, skinny jeans or skirts paired with long boots.

Inspiration from the past-Pierre Balmain 1950-s

Just wanted to share these classic tailored coats and jackets by Pierre Balmain of 1950s- early 60s. The period when his own fashion house was already opened in 1945 with branches in USA and his couture work popular in Hollywood.

In fact, coats featuring wide collars, three quarters sleeves worn with long gloves, would this be a real vintage or modern versions will always have a glam feel about it and if cleverly paired with modern things the result can be fascinating.
