Haven`t I ever told you about my fascination with ballet? Obviously I`ve got it almost from my childhood when we used to visit theatres with my parents, the performances look like a magic on stage.

Quiet simply because it`s so beautiful!

While I was expecting my daughter I was into reading ballet books. Now she`s been dancing from the age of three focusing on ballet of course. It`s great to pass your interests to your children even if she`s never going to be a prima this will always stay in her beautiful child memories.

Floral prints from my wardrobe

Beautiful Spring days like today inspire me to sort my clothes and look out for floral prints. While it`s only been a couple weeks since I gave a birth to my son it`s a bit difficult to identify my current size and get the clear point of what I`m going to wear this Spring at all.

I`m also struggling to find a perfect dress suitable for breastfeading at the moment and was surprised to see that there`s not much choice from high street retailers probably to a low demand which is not very good.

My day in May. Outfit

It`s my 32nd birthday today, I feel tired but very happy indeed, valuing and enjoying each and every minute of this beautiful life. This year I`ve got the most special present, my precious little son. What else could you wish for!

During these long winter months of my pregnancy I used to wear dresses so it was quiet hard to pull a jeans on today. While they are sitting well (surprisingly!?) I still feel a bit weird. Dresses rule!

Spring make up colours

Still no sign of Spring and while I can`t do any new Spring inspired outfits due to my 9 months pregnancy now, I`m pretty much into make-up stuff at the moment. It`s always interesting to explore a new field you`ve never been in, knowing the fact that I`ve never been keen on things like make-up or jewellery before.

Inspiration is everywhere, even in flowers, homegrown by the way, as I find tulips the easiest flowers to grow. They`ve got a very tender combination of light green and pink and wish I could wear something light and breezy in these colours as well.

Houses and homes

Whenever I travel I always have an interest in architecture of the town or city, particularly houses and mansions where people do live in.

This is not a curiosity it`s just a fly of imagination.
Imagining myself living here or there, what interiors and people would surround me, what lifestyle would I have and at last how would my fashion sense change.

When coming back to an island where the grass is always green and the sky is always gray and the wind is bitterly cold, back to my usual way of life, where I always feel the need of a good warm cardigan and layers of clothing.

This is the place I call home.

It`s a shame I couldn`t write a proper blog post in more than a week time.

Today I`ve got a message from Boots parent`s club saying it`s all very close and I`ll see my baby in some weeks. So I decided to sum up with what I`ve been up to this "Spring" months. Not to mention some time in hospital experiencing false Braxton hicks contractions, trying to distract myself with reading and browsing fashion sites.

Hope you`re all well and not too snowed in.

Geometrical Prints- styling tips

Have you noticed how they are always popular in Spring? Geometrical bold prints are making coming backs each year, so the trend is not new and I`m sure we all have stripes and polka dots in our wardrobes.

Mixing prints with bright colours can make all the difference and work perfectly for smart outfits as well as for funky casual.

Having in mind four colours such as green, yellow, pink an blue, I`ve come up with four different looks.
There`s more and more versions can be done as all the pieces are of a classic cut and all you can do is experiment.

Actually I brought these dresses from my parent`s house about two years ago and completely forgot about them since then.

Believe me or not these are the dresses I was wearing as a little girl so they can proudly be called genuine vintage classified as 30 something years old. I wonder, how they still stay in condition very near to "new, never used" so I had to give them another life and... this is the result. My daughter enjoys wearing them to her nursery, styled mainly as a tops or tunics over leggings, skinny jeans or skirts paired with long boots.

Inspiration from the past-Pierre Balmain 1950-s

Just wanted to share these classic tailored coats and jackets by Pierre Balmain of 1950s- early 60s. The period when his own fashion house was already opened in 1945 with branches in USA and his couture work popular in Hollywood.

In fact, coats featuring wide collars, three quarters sleeves worn with long gloves, would this be a real vintage or modern versions will always have a glam feel about it and if cleverly paired with modern things the result can be fascinating.

Recently, I was trying to identify my most loved fashion era and that wasn`t that easy, I realise it now. What I`m really sure about is that I adore elegance of each period would it be 30-s, 40-s or 50-s.

New colour- khaki

I just wanted to introduce you to my recent colour addiction. This time it`s a deep khaki green.

Must say I use vintage "Kelly" bag these days exactly for the same reason as Grace Kelly did. Can`t believe it`s only 2.5 months left until my baby boy is due, this is possibly the reason of loving khaki colour as at least for me it`s always been associated with something masculine like army, camouflage uniform etc.

First snow

First snow is such a joy for children. Nurseries and schools are closed due to weather conditions. Love it or hate it, you`ll have to cope with all the usual bits like changing kids clothes five times a day because this is only you who enjoys watching large snowflakes sitting comfortably in with a hot cuppa. The best fun is when you`re all covered in snow, parents get ready!

We grew a first tulips lately. That`s my passion to flowers, it probably is unstoppable now, call it unusual hobby of a pregnant woman or weird craving but I desperately want to grow flowers. Now admitting it out loud, at my last trip to supermarket I ended up with several bags of flower seeds, pots and a compost.

Old Spitalfields Market, London

I love London markets they are the spirit of the whole area, although much has changed and Camden, Old Spitalfields became more sort of tourists attractions with stalls of expensive vintage and less expensive vintage-like what stays the same is that they still are a history and will always be.

This weekend I took a stroll down The Brick Lane, Whitechapel, Shoreditch. I love visiting that part of East London as well as I love visiting London, it keeps it`s charm for me when I just come there not live there.

Petticoat Lane market, this is where you can grab something fashionable for £3-£5.

Cobalt blue

Another bright colour. Cobalt blue.

That day I was sure that the only way to wear it could be to pair it with another bright like burgundy and top it up with a big dogtooth print.

I`m starting the period of "living in a dresses", goodbye jeans and trousers you`re all difficult to button now and I still need to breathe and move like nothing has happened.

I just love to see her wearing dresses until she reaches that age when she ignores them in favour of leggins, jeans, tee-shirts and sweaters. That`s indeed a time when you can be creative and develop your child`s style, at the age of 4, no more bibs, food stains, mad tears. She`s even able to make a decisions of what she wants to wear to the nursery today or tomorrow and really enjoys choosing clothes online, excitedly waiting then for postman each morning (could we do it when we were 4 years old?)

Here`s what`s been around this winter. Now that Chistmas rush and New Year`s celebrations are over I`m so pleased it all slowed down a bit because the ammount of time we`ve spent getting ready for all the parties and fighting with that nasty cold was endless.

I just thought I`ve come to that point where I should change the direction of my blog. You know, like getting a fresh start this coming year, probably stop posting my oufits frequently and doing more collaborations and interviews.

As a matter of the fact, it came as an utter surprise to me that the main New Year 2013 resolution for me will be

to give a birth to my second child.

What I definitely don`t want is to turn all this into a maternity blog, hence this won`t be a diary of my growing baby bump and a sick face. I even had thoughts of closing this blog down, but after all decided to carry on, just for experiment without having a clear idea in mind what it all is going to be in future. Consequently, the content might change, as well as my style. That only time will show, we`ll see.

For those ones who will stay with me, crazy thoughts, perhaps some sentimental things can be expected but certainly this will stay a place to express my interest in fashion, art and other stylish things. Thank you all for your support and see you next Year!
