nobu stretch and sushi ♥

Let's rewind back to 2012 when I first created this blog. I never thought I would still be creating content all these years later and I am so grateful that I have been lucky enough to try the newest products, trends and attend innovative industry events. I feel like this is an extra special blog post today because this is certainly a pinch me moment. I was kindly invited to the Portman Square Nobu restaurant to try the new Stretch & Sushi package. The Stretch & Sushi concept was created by Founder and Creative Director, Marsha Lindsay. The Stretch and Sushi package includes one 45 minute Pilates class in one of the luxury Pilates studios and then you are served an exclusive dining experience at the Nobu restaurant downstairs. Now more than ever, we are very focused on our wellbeing - looking after our insides as well as our outsides.

My typical daily routine has dramatically changed now that I am in my early thirties, I use LED masks, protein shakes, collagen supplements - the list goes on but the theme is very clear. We are much more focused on the health and well-being of our bodies and lifestyle. This is why the Stretch and Sushi concept is so refreshing and modern. The idea of a bottomless brunch can leave me feeling slightly sluggish or dehydrated the next day so what better way to look after your body by treating it to an intense workout that works to tone every muscle in your body? Now, if anyone knows me and my fitness journey, we all know I am certainly not an expert.

Fitness does not come natural to me, I am slightly on the clumsy side which is why I was so excited to experience Pilates for the first time. Let's be honest, the thought of me racing on a bike or hiking in this cold British weather really does not appeal to me. But as I arrived at the Nobu Pilates studio, I instantly felt at home. I walked through the beautiful lobby and made my way to the changing rooms upstairs. The glossy, sleek marble changing room certainly put my local gym to shame. A Dyson hairdryer and GHD flat irons were perfectly placed on the large mirrored dressing table area and the fine selection of Grown Alchemist hand wash and lotions were carefully displayed by the sinks. You can see that every inch of the Nobu Wellness & Fitness centre has been carefully planned and styled to perfection.

I made my way to the Pilates studio and Marsha instantly made me feel at ease. She has a handpicked team of professional trainers that can work with your body at any fitness level. From body builders to newbies like myself, there is a reason why A listers are queuing up to visit Marsha and her team. I absolutely loved my first Pilates class and for 45 minutes, you can expect every part of your body to feel something. Although there were a few of us in the class, it really felt like a one on one experience because Marsha has a really special talent at knowing exactly when you need help with positioning yourself or using the reformer for a particular posture.

After the class ended, I took my trademark Nobu mirror selfie, and we popped to the showers and made our way downstairs to the Nobu restaurant. As we sat down at our table, a selection of dishes came out and I can honestly say, I have not tasted sushi like it. Part of the Stretch and Sushi package includes a delicious Bento Box and a non-alcoholic cocktail. The Bento Box is inspired by the legendry founder, Nobu Matsuhisa. It includes Sashimi Salad with Matsuhisa Dressing, an assortment of Sushi, Baby Tiger Shrimp with Creamy Spicy Sauce, the renowned Black Cod Miso and Vegetable Spicy Garlic with Rice. A vegetarian option is also available.

Overall, you can expect fitness and luxury to come hand in hand when you arrive to Nobu, from the treatment rooms to the Pilates studio - who knew fitness could look this good? I absolutely love the concept and if you are looking to treat your mum, sister or best friend to a day that will make you feel and look great, this is the perfect gift. Not only is the food to die for but it was really inspiring to meet Marsha and to see her love for Pilates up-close and personal. summer midi dresses ♥

It has been a while since my latest blog post, running after a four year old has definitely kept me on my toes but I am back with a brand new blog post just in time for the warmer summer season. We all know I am not the biggest fan of summer fashion, I do love my faux fur coats and leather trousers but I have to admit, I have been loving the cut out summer dresses this year. I think 99% of my wardrobe is now midi dresses and I definitely have Zara and Oh Polly to thank for that. Accessory wise, I still keep thinks pretty subtle - I have a cross necklace which I recently found in TK Maxx and I now have three rings from Swarovski that I wear any chance I get.

I love that you can layer them all together or just wear them separately. This Oh Polly brown cut out dress is probably my favourite outfit right now, the thin elastic straps keep everything in place and material is so soft and flattering. Well, hello. It has been a while since I last posted on Fairytale Kiss and today I wanted to write a little update and share a brand new ShopList post. I have officially rebranded and changed the name of my blog, so Fairytale Kiss is no more. I actually created this blog as part of my university course 12 years ago and I think I came up with Fairytale Kiss through a name generator machine? The details are a slight blur but I have been meaning to change my blog name for quite some time. I have officially updated my website now and I just need to update my Instagram handle. I am excited for a new chapter with my blog and I have really missed creating content on here.

I will be planning new content and focusing on more beauty product reviews but let me know if you there is anything you would like me to test out in particular. It is currently 7 degrees outside while I am typing this and I am wearing three jumpers, one snuggled on top of the other. I thought now would be the perfect time to create a new shopping post and include a few autumn favourites. I have kissed goodbye to my summer wardrobe and now I am hunting down every cosy knitwear item that I can find. What item are you loving my #ShopList post this week? When I’m not running after Sofia, heading to work or trying to create blog content, I enjoy nothing more than getting dressed up and grabbing a cocktail or two. The summer season is officially in full swing and when I began typing this blog post, I was relaxing in the sunshine while Sofia was having her afternoon nap. Of course in true England style, we fast forward to Monday evening and the rain hasn't stopped. It’s hard to believe we were in a full on heatwave during Sofia's birthday two months ago, which brings me to today’s blog post. I was so excited when Chi Chi clothing dropped me an email to see if I could style a few items from their range.One of the dresses I picked just suited my style perfectly, I was so excited to wear it to Sofia’s birthday party. I was also excited to grab a pair of my heels and wear it while drinking a cocktail in the hot weather later on. For me, this Printed Cami Slip Midi Dress* is the perfect staple midi dress that you can dress up for the evening or wear with sandals during the day. I think the lilac tone is subtle enough to wear out for dinner and not just for packing in your suitcase for your next holiday. I'm not a big fan of bold, bright colours so I love how muted this lilac dress is, the fabric is stunning and for me, this is the perfect dress to add to your wardrobe. If you wanted to make this dress ready for the autumn weather, an oversized, knitted cardigan or jumper would suit this dress perfectly. When the pandemic first began and just after I had Sofia, I will admit that I felt a bit lost. As a first time mum, I found it really hard to adjust without my family around me and isolating inside really began to take its toll. I didn't realise this at the time but looking back, I don't think I handled the isolation as well as I thought I did. I remember the first thing I bought to make myself feel a little bit better and like my old self - a beautiful lingerie set. There is something about a matching lingerie set that just gives me the 'wow' factor. I used to love watching the typical walk in wardrobe scenes in films and see the matching bra and knickers perfectly paired and neatly folded in the drawers.

I have come to realise that lingerie shopping is definitely my favourite type of pick me up when I'm having a bad day. Before I had a big clear out in my wardrobe, I had quite a few mismatched pairs of underwear and bras but now I have been making a conscious effort to only have matching sets. I guess this is my version of feeling organised before I start my day, I love wear a matching set underneath my clothes. I was so excited to try on this navy lace set because the lace detailing is simply stunning, not only does the set look and feel delicate and soft but it provides amazing support without feeling too harsh like some of the bra's I have worn in the past. I am certainly not a lingerie model by any means, but I felt really comfortable and happy to shoot these photos and I am still so thrilled that IDentity Lingerie were kind enough to send over the pieces for me to wear. I've been grabbing this gown when I'm about to do my skin care before I get into bed and it feels so lightweight. We all know that when it comes to reviewing products, you really need to include the product in your everyday routine. I think this is the best way and only way to see how you react to the product and overtime you can see whether there is a difference or not. So what do I think of this ZENii dream combination? I once read a quote saying 'Your diet is not only what you eat. It is what you watch, what you listen to, what you read, the people you hang out with. Be mindful of the things you put into your body emotionally, spiritually and physically.' I have really paid attention to this quote over the past few months and if you follow me on Instagram, you know I have added new things to my routine that benefit my health and wellbeing. I feel like I finally understand how important self-care is and it can be overwhelming with the amount of information, products and tools that are available for us in today's market. I was really excited when the Bloom* team contacted me and asked me to try their app.

I have heard so many positive reviews about the Bloom app, starting with how easy and compact the app is. From meditation tutorials to soothing music to help you sleep, Bloom has everything you need to improve your wellbeing in one easy app. I have been testing out the app for the past few months and it could not be easier to use and incorporate into your routine. When you open the app, the content loads and you are greeted with a menu. The app has a section called Your Growth, you can keep track on how many consecutive days you have used the app, how many minutes you have meditated and how many flowers you have successfully competed.

I have been using the app outside in my sister's garden to meditate and work on my breathing techniques, I am guilty of overthinking and worrying sometimes so it is lovely to use the app to take a step back and unwind. I am certainly not an expert at meditating but I love how calm and refreshed I feel afterwards. There are different courses available so if you are a beginner like me, there is a whole section that is dedicated to meditating, basic yoga positions and how to change your thought process to a more positive outlook. Overall, I cannot recommend the Bloom app enough. It is very ironic that I need my phone to switch off from everything but I just love falling asleep using the different breathing techniques and hearing the sound of heavy rain.

The app has so many features and I love that it is really compact, it is constantly updating itself with new videos and audio clips which means you never find Bloom repetitive. It is such an easy way to benefit your routine and I just feel really happy and enlightened after I use it. Whether I want to practice my breathing techniques on my yoga mat or if I need a little help to get to sleep because I feel anxious, there is a feature that can help. zero water filter ♥

This year I am spending a lot of energy and attention on trying to look after myself better - physically and mentally. It sounds simple enough but I have found it tricky to really train my mind to understand that the little habits you create, really make the difference. One area that I really struggle with is my diet, especially with how much water I consume. I have never been a fan of the taste of water and I am guilty of reaching for juices or coffee. This is certainly an unhealthy lifestyle choice, especially when I've been ignoring the "everything in moderation" saying. I have been trying to drink water from a bottle so I can track exactly how much I am drinking and it has been a struggle.

I was really excited when the lovely team at Zero Water* contacted me about the sent me the 5 Stage Water Filter to test out. Now don't get me wrong, I think I will always struggle to drink water but I think it really helps knowing that the water has been filtered and the taste is similar to bottled water. I can add my fruit infused tea bags for a fresher and clearer taste. My family have been drinking the filtered the water as well and they are also shocked at the difference in taste. It has been a while since I put together a ShopList post and with my birthday slowly creeping closer, I thought it was about time to pick some shopping favourites. I am becoming quite obsessed with Guess, the 00's vibes are slowly making their way back into my wardrobe which is why the Guess handbags are a firm favourite for me right now. I've found quite a few heels on TK Maxx which look like they belong in a Sex and the City episode, I love the thin heels and diamonte detailing. Self-care is a big part of my daily routine now which is why I am so excited about the new book launch from Vex King, I'm currently reading the Good Vibes, Good Life book at the moment and it is such a lovely way to end my day. femme luxe series #28 ♥

I am back with a brand new Femme Luxe* post today and I have ventured slightly out of my comfort zone. I think the 80’s called me when I styled this black, white and pink tracksuit* bottom and hoody set because I am getting flashbacks from ‘The Business’. This particular outfit just reminds me of something Danny Dyer's character would have worn and I’m not usually a stripe or block colour kind of girl but I love that Femme Luxe have such a wide variety for you to try. You can wear the tracksuit bottoms and zip up hoody together for an effortless and laid book look, paired with some white trainers or you can grab a pair of black leggings or a black t-shirt and mix and match.

I’m really impressed with the quality and the material is soft enough to relax on the sofa in loungewear mode. Speaking of loungewear, this brings us to my next outfit. The White Cable Knit Wide Leg Loungewear set* is probably one of my new favourite loungewear sets, the white fabric is simply perfect and the baggy fit just makes it even more comfortable to wear. I love how simple the design is and it just looks stunning on. I don’t usually wear white but I think it works really well, I definitely need to see if Femme Luxe have this in a chocolate brown shade too. I think I will be living in this loungewear set for the foreseeable future, especially when I grab my slippers and electric blanket.

On the dressier side of the Femme Luxe wardrobe, we have their selection of tops. I decided to style a black corset top with ruffled sleeves*. I’ll be honest I am not usually very confident when it comes to exposing my mid drift area but I felt really comfortable wearing this corset top. I got a size bigger than my usual size and I think that made a big difference, the top is incredibly comfortable to wear and it just takes your outfit from causal to glam in seconds. I paired it with a pair of faux leather leggings and I am just obsessed with this outfit, it would be perfect for drinks with the girls which will hopefully start from next week with lockdown slowly ending.

I had a lot of fun shooting these outfits and hopefully it will give you some inspiration if you want to switch up your wardrobe. With lockdown easing in the UK and the weather warming up, I can't wait to include more dresses on my Femme Luxe series, especially when it involves leopard print or faux leather. ikrush outfit picks ♥

There are certain pinch me moments when it comes to writing a blog, when an email from iKrush landed in my inbox a few weeks ago I couldn't wait to style a few pieces from their range. They have so many different styles and looks to choose from. I think I have every colour of faux leather trousers you can find, from snake print to cherry red but surprisingly I didn’t have a cream pair. I saw the iKrush Sorsha Double Button Faux Leather Trousers* and fell in love, the gold buttons are really giving me serious Balmain vibes and I am really impressed with the fit and sizing when I first tried them on. I decided to grab a black corset top to finish this outfit because it keeps the focus on the cream trousers.

The trousers are quite high waisted so this is perfect if you like a little more fitted support around your waist area like I do. The trousers are a skinny fit design so you can easily grab a pair of knee high boots to style them with, I decided to keep this outfit simple with a pair of black sandal heels. The next outfit I decided to try was the Anji Pearl Knitted Co-Ord set* in grey, it includes pearls on the leg area, wrists and neck. This is an ideal outfit choice for the warmer weather, I’ll be grabbing my leather jacket and white trainers to wear with this set. This knitted jumper and leggings are incredibly comfortable that you can either get cosy on the sofa for a Netflix day or you can wear this out and about running errands.

Some of my loungewear items are slightly too comfy looking to wear out but I love that this co-ord set can be worn for either. Lockdown has certainly made me appreciate my loungewear collection and this grey knitted set is officially taking the top spot. I'm really impressed with the quality and the turtle neck style jumper is really flattering, it would look perfect with a pair of black leather leggings or a pair of skinny jeans as well. love yourself sunday roast ♥

It can be a struggle finding foods that Sofia enjoys eating, she is very fussy at the moment and I find myself cooking a few dishes a night to see if she’ll find something to eat. I know it’s totally normal to have a fussy eater on my hands but it still can be stressful. I was so excited when the lovely team at Love Yourself* contacted me to see if me and Sofia would like to try the gourmet Sunday roast lunch menu. Love Yourself specialise in freshly prepared meals, they don’t use any additives, preservatives or processed foods. They prepare fresh ingredients everyday and they have a selection of healthy diets to try including their freshly prepared Sunday roast.

The packaging is also designed so you can easily scan the nutritional information into MyFitnessPal and you can keep track on exactly what you are eating and how many calories each dish is. As we are still in lockdown, I think we are all dreaming about the days we can return to restaurants and I absolutely love that Love Yourself offer a healthy alternative to my regular takeaway meals. I decided to try the roast beef menu and I couldn’t wait for the delivery to arrive. I’ve been lucky enough to review quite a few Love Yourself options from their menu including the juice cleanse, keto diet and the pescatarian menu. The Sunday roast includes a 28 day aged beef sirloin, cooked medium rare and it includes a selection of sides.

The sides include crispy roast potatoes, seasoned with garlic, rosemary and thyme, Yorkshire puddings, roasted carrots and parsnips, glazed with butter and balsamic vinegar⁠, halved hispi cabbage,⁠ gravy, horseradish and yoghurt cream⁠ and cheesecake with Rhubarb compote and crumble⁠. As with all Love Yourself deliveries, you can easily track your delivery and find out exactly when it will be arriving. It really is the little things that makes your experience easy and simple to use and I like that you are updated when and where your food order is. A large box arrived and a menu was neatly presented inside the box, including a barcode for scanning.

After I scanned this barcode with my phone, the cooking instructions were presented and you got to see a breakdown of the roast. Created for two people, I was absolutely astonished at the portion sizes. The Love Yourself roast could easily feed three people and luckily for my brother and dad, they were able to enjoy the roast with me. The box arrived with foil trays so you didn't even need to use your own baking trays for cooking, it was easily prepped for you. You simply had to heat up the food and serve. As you can see from the photos, the food pretty much does the talking. It tasted incredible and I love how fresh and vibrant the vegetables were, I was really impressed with the flavour and the portion sizes.

I fell in love with the Love Yourself horseradish, it arrived in a large sealed packet and I certainly enjoyed dipping the beef and vegetables in this. I didn't expect to see two vanilla cheesecakes in the box so I was very excited to try this and so was Sofia. Each dish tasted incredibly fresh and full of flavour, from the gravy to the beef, it was cooked and prepped to perfection and I didn't feel sluggish or guilty afterwards, it felt lovely to eat healthy food that didn't put me in a sluggish food coma like my usual food takeaways from my local Chinese or Indian. It certainly makes a nice change to my normal weekly dinners.

Overall, the Love Yourself gourmet roast is a well deserved treat, it tasted incredible and I love the attention to detail for each dish. Each dish was packed with flavour and to be honest, its lovely to have all the hard work done for you. I didn't have to spend hours chopping and shredding vegetables or marinating beef, I simply let the oven do the hard work while I sat down and put Desperate Housewives on. If you are looking for a well deserved break from the kitchen and if you are craving high quality restaurant food, the Love Yourself experience is a dream come true. We all know I am obsessed with self-care and if lockdown has taught me anything it is I need to spend more time looking after myself. Whether its putting an hour aside to moisturise, tan, paint my nails - you name it. As a mum, it can be hard work running around a 21 month old toddler and on the occasion that Sofia does wake up in the middle of the night, it can play havoc on my sleeping schedule. This is why I was over the moon when a package from Aroma Active* arrived at my door. A new addition to the Boots family; the Aroma Active brand was launched late last year and they specialise in combining aromatherapy with natural ingredients.

I've been testing the range out for a few weeks now and not only was I blown away by the packaging but I absolutely love the fragrances used throughout the products. It has taken me a while to realise that a good, consistent routine is the key to getting a good night's sleep. I am really enjoying my skincare ritual in bed and I try to use the Aroma Active range 30 minutes before I want to get to sleep. I usually have Vampire Diaries in the background so I'll get everything ready by applying the Aroma Active Sleep Pulsepoint Rollerball*. The Aroma ingredients include Lavandin, Buddawood, Valerian, Ylang Ylang and the Active ingredients include Plankton extract and Hops.

If you didn't know, hops is actually a dried plant that is used to treat sleep disorders, restlessness and tension. The Pulsepoint Roller is 6ml and would certainly make the perfect travel companion, you simply apply it to your wrists and the inside of your elbows. It is super easy to use and I have even been applying a dab behind my ears, it smells incredible and perfect if you're on the go. The Sleep Salt Soak* is probably my favourite product from the collection, we all know I love my hot baths and adding this Aroma Active Sleep Salt Soak to my bath has been an absolute delight. It contains Lavandin, Buddhawood, Valerian, and Ylang Ylang which has calming properties.

Overall, I am so excited about the Aroma Active range, not only is it affordable but the quality and ingredients really do speak for itself. I was really blown away by the fragrance of the sleep range and if I close my eyes for long enough, it almost makes me think I'm having a day at the spa. If you are struggling to get a good nights sleep like me, I would definitely recommend having a look at the Aroma Active Sleep range, not only is the entire range vegan friendly but the quality is simply amazing. I am back with a brand new tanning review and today we are talking about one of my favourite tanning brands - Skinny Tan. Created back in 2012, you may have first heard about Skinny Tan after they were featured on Dragons' Den. I have actually been using Skinny Tan since 2016 and I have always been amazed by the range of unique and revolutionary tanning products. I have been kindly sent the Wonder Serum* and the Dry Mist Finishing Spray*. Skinny Tan is known for launching new and exciting launches so I was really curious to see what I was in for. I know it sounds crazy but I actually feel like tanning has been a big help dealing with lockdown, it instantly lifts my mood and I love feeling bronzed and looking like I've just stepped off a beach.

Now I have never actually used a fake tan in the form of a serum, I have tried gels, mousse, oils and a selection of spray tans but a serum has never even crossed my radar before. I love the idea of combining skin care with my tanning routine so I couldn't wait to try the Wonder Serum. The formula contains Vitamin E and Q10 which keeps your skin smooth and soft and it also helps fight against fine lines. This particular tan is pretty much designed as photoshop in a bottle, the formula is designed to smooth blemishes to create a smoother base for your tan. Which is great if you're covered in clumsy bumps and bruises all the time like me. So after starting my regular tanning prep of exfoliating, I applied the Wonder Serum with a Skinny Tan Tanning Mitt.

The tanning mitt is so easy to use and it glides effortlessly over your skin, the velvet design really makes a difference when applying your tan, compared to regular foam mitts that I have used in the past. I always reach for this tanning mitt because it really helps the product blend into your skin, especially in hard to reach areas like your back or in-between your toes and fingers. The Wonder Serum is vegan friendly and cruelty free, this is always in the plus column when I am testing out products because I know how important these factors are when it comes to buying beauty products and it's great that even more people can try the range. I squirted a small amount of the Wonder Serum onto my tanning mitt and I noticed that the formula has small, subtle glitter particles.

The serum is light and very thin which made it really easy to blend into my skin. I found that the instant colour is ideal if you want a subtle sun kissed look, it looks like a beautiful, healthy glow and it gives your skin the ultimate pick me up. If you want something more intense, I would add another layer and let the tan develop for a few hours. I'm really impressed that you can get results straight away with the Wonder Serum and you have the option to create a darker tan if you prefer. Although the formula is really hydrating and lightweight, I didn't find it sticky or uncomfortable to have on my skin, it dried really well and I used the Dry Mist Spray to give me a helping hand.

As you can see from the photo above, I applied the Wonder Serum on my right leg just so you could see the instant pop of colour it gives. I'm not wearing any tan on my left leg and you can see what an amazing difference it makes. I'm really impressed with how easy it was to apply and I think the Wonder Serum is ideal if you want something hydrating on your skin. I was also blown away when I used the Dry Mist Finishing Spray, I applied it after the serum and I can only describe it as a dry shampoo for your body. It coats your tan and allows it dry really quickly and best of all, it smells of vanilla and coconut. I was able to put my leggings back on quickly after and I didn't feel sticky which is the normal routine after you use a fake tan. The Dry Mist Spray is such a clever idea and it will make your tanning experience even more enjoyable and less of a chore.

I love that it helped the serum dry quicker and it was really easy to spray. Overall, I am really blown away by the Wonder Serum and Dry Mist Spray. I abslovely love how easy the Wonder Serum was to apply and the silky, smooth formula is perfect if you want to try a tanning product for the first time. The lightweight formula makes it very easy to blend into your skin and the anti-ageing benefits are just an added bonus. I was blown away by my end result and I couldn't believe how natural it looked. The Dry Mist Spray is now a firm must-have in my tanning routine, not only has it saved me standing with my hairdryer on the cool setting (don't ask), but it just adds that extra layer of protection against my clothes and bed sheets. I don't know why but I have always had a soft spot for gift sets. I love the idea that you can try out your favourite beauty product and you also have the chance to try something new or something you wouldn't usually add to your shopping basket. Like most products, I wanted to spend some time properly testing them out and I finally managed to take the photos of the gift set too.

I wanted to start with my favourite product from the range, the Nourishing Hydration face mask. We all know I am obsessed with face masks so I was really excited to try this mask out. First of all, I like that the face mask is pump, I'm normally used to using sachets with my face masks so I like that I can control how much product I apply to my skin. There is a lot of product in this bottle and the formula is designed to give your skin a much needed boost if it is dry. I usually apply this mask and leave it on for 20 minutes, it gently wash it off with the muslin cloth provided and I can instantly feel how smooth my skin is afterwards. It is a dream to apply and this particular face mask is certainly in my top 3 of all time. It feels like a little trip to the spa and my skin is definitely happy with this product.

Next we have the Overnight Recovery Gel Cream, I found this formula really cooling, non sticky and it just adds another level of pampering to my skin care routine. It has Pollution Shield Technology and it is designed to give your skin the chance to re-energise. It isn't heavily fragranced but it does smell light and fresh. Overall, I think this gift set is incredible, I am really trying to improve my skincare routine at the moment and I think this gift set has something for everyone, the range is suitable for sensitive skin which is a bonus for me because my mum has really, really sensitive skin so this means these products are ideal for Mother's Day. It is time for a new Femme Luxe post and this week I am feeling slightly more dressed up, even if we are still in lockdown. I was kindly sent a selection of Femme Luxe* outfits to style and I do really miss dressing up for cocktails. Don't get me wrong, I am still loving the loungewear vibes but I have missed putting on a pair of heels and a dressy top. This brings me to my first outfit pick, a black lace bodysuit with faux leather leggings. I have not worn a bodysuit in quite some time but this lace bodysuit is all you need to transform your outfit from casual to dressy. I am wearing a size 8/10 and it fits perfectly, it isn't tight or uncomfortable and it goes so well with my faux leather leggings.

I absolutely love the lace detailing on this bodysuit and the deep, plunge neckline is really flattering without making you feel too exposed. When we can finally head out for drinks, I'll be wearing this little number. If you wanted to make this bodysuit slightly more casual, I would grab a pair of baggy jeans, a matching denim shirt and trainers. I think layering is a great way to make an outfit more casual and adding oversized clothes into the mix is another easy way to style this bodysuit. For my next outfit pick, I finally tried a matching loungewear combination, the shorts and short sleeved jumper is a dream to wear if you are having a Netflix and popcorn day in bed.

The shorts and top are really soft and I love mixing up my loungewear collection. When the weather warms up, I think this will be a great option if you are running errands because you can easily pair this combo with trainers or sandals. Yes, I am missing the summer weather if you can't tell. Femme Luxe have this outfit in a few other colours but personally, I don't think you can go wrong with black. I actually popped the lace bodysuit underneath the short sleeved jumper and tucked it up slightly. My next outfit pick had to be a classic pair of grey tracksuit bottoms. I'm actually wearing them while I'm typing this blog post, they are so comfortable and you can wear them for anything.

Whether you are going for a socially distanced walk or if you're getting cosy in bed watching Vampire Diaries...like me. Easy and comfortable to wear; I think everyone needs a comfy pair of tracksuit bottoms in their wardrobe, especially with lockdown. Last but certainly not least, we have another loungewear set but this nude cable knit combination includes a midi skirt. I saw this set on the Femme Luxe website and I fell in love instantly. The sand colour is gorgeous and I can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can wear this with a pair of trainers. It is really easy to wear and it is really practical. It has been a while since I published a new Current Beauty Favourites blog post, I absolutely love writing this series, (you can find the full collection of posts here), and I have been really trying to focus more on beauty content on Fairytale Kiss. Beauty will always be my number one passion when it comes to blogging and I was really eager to shoot and test out these products. This is probably my favourite series on Fairytale Kiss, I absolutely love testing and trying new, (and sometimes old), products and for the past few weeks I’ve been using a selection of beauty products to see if they work and whether they are worth adding to your shopping basket. Let’s get started with the first product, we all know I love the Dr.PAWPAW range and I love that they always bring out new and exciting launches, including the Dr.PAWPAW Age Renewal Naturally Fragranced Hand Cream*.

Vegan and cruelty free; this hand cream has been in my handbag for weeks now. It’s a great size for popping in your coat pocket if you’re going on your daily walk too - yes, the excitement of lockdown. We all use antibacterial gel more than ever before so it is natural for our hands to feel slightly dry, which is why I’ve been keeping this Dr.PAWPAW hand cream in my bag too. This particular hand cream is perfect if you don’t like scented products and if your hands are feeling particularly dry at the moment, I definitely think this cream is worth a try. The formula doesn’t leave your hands feeling sticky and I love that it has anti-ageing properties, it contains Collodial Oatmeal, which is known for soothing dry and itchy skin.

If you do love scented hand creams, Dr.PAWPAW also have a Cocoa and Coconut version and a Mango and Orange scented hand cream in this range. The next product I am adding to my Current Beauty Favourites list is the Ted Baker Pretty Pearl Body Lotion, I believe this came in a gift set but you can find this particular body lotion separately online. I'm not usually overwhelmed by pretty, pink packaging but the quality and scents of the Ted Baker beauty range has always left me impressed. The Pretty Pearl body lotion smells of rose petals, sandalwood and a touch of raspberry leaf. It smells incredible and I love applying this after a shower or if I want to take a pause from my Dove tanning lotion.

With Mother's Day coming up, I think the Ted Baker beauty range is a perfect option, I am a big fan of Ted Baker gift sets. You can find the full range on the Boots website here. The next product on my favourite's list this week is the Jimmy Choo Flash perfume. This perfume is floral scented but it has a spicy twist, the notes include sweet strawberry, tangerine, pink pepper, and white lily for the heart note of the fragrance. Not only is the scent long lasting but it really smells fresh and I think it is the perfect scent now that spring is arriving. Flash smells light and fresh but it also has a very rich scent mixed in. I've been wearing this perfume everyday for the past few weeks and it is a great option for the daytime. Last but certainly not least, I had to include the Philip Kingsley Sun Shield UV Defence spray*.

Now I know this sounds more like a holiday product when you go abroad, but I love applying this spray if I've recently had highlights put in my hair, it protects coloured hair and I have always kept this spray in my hair routine. You can still find the Sun Shield online but they also have newer products that cater to protecting your hair against the sun, peroxide and chlorine, including the Daily Damage Defence spray. I'm a big fan of the Philip Kingsley range and if your hair needs some TLC, I'd recommend taking their quiz online to see what products they suggest. I am back with a brand new review about one of my favourite healthy meal delivery services. I have been lucky enough to try out the Keto diet menu from Love Yourself*. We all know I try really hard to eat healthy and it isn't easy when you have a love for takeaways, but I have always loved the idea of a healthy version of a takeaway. Which is why Love Yourself is the perfect solution, especially if you don't fancy spending your afternoon in the kitchen. So before we get started, let's talk about the Keto diet. What exactly is it and how does it work? After doing my homework, I found out that the term 'keto' is short for ketosis, a high-fat diet that focuses on burning fat rather than carbohydrates.

The Keto diet focuses on low-carb food and you skip anything sugary or too heavy like fizzy drinks, white bread or pastries. Now with all new diets, if you are thinking of switching your eating habits and you have any health issues, it is best to speak to your doctor just to be on the safe side, they will know whether the keto diet will be beneficial for you in the long term. I have been upping my exercise routine with dance sessions and longer, brisk walks so the keto diet seems like a perfect partnership to help me burn fat. This diet has also been a keen favourite for bodybuilders who want to gain muscle mass. For me, I just love the idea of trying healthy dishes that I haven't failed miserably at cooking myself.

I love the idea of eating healthy food that tastes amazing and whether you want to use Love Yourself on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, I think its a lovely treat when you want a day off from food shopping and cooking. One thing that I love about Love Yourself is how much they update you when it comes to the delivery process, not only can you track where your food is but they tell you how far away they are from your house. I received my freshly prepared Keto bag in the evening so it was ready for the next day. Inside the bag there is a morning meal, snack, lunch and dinner prepared and ready. The morning meal consisted of a bacon, avocado salad with cucumber, tomato, spinach and hard boiled eggs.

I had a raspberry smoothie for the snack, for lunch I had meatballs with broccoli and for the last meal of the day, I had chicken with a creamy, blue cheese sauce. I didn't know what to expect from the Keto diet so I was really impressed that the portion sizes and actual dishes were filling and more than just soup and plain salad. I think there is a big misconception that healthy meals have to be simple and basic but Love Yourself are big fans of flavour and tasty combinations. I was really impressed with the bacon and avocado salad, it was a lovely way to start my morning and it was really filling. Around 11:00 AM I had my smoothie, it was made with almonds and raspberry's. I popped a few ice cubes in the smoothie and it was delicious, so fresh and tasty.

For lunch I ate meatballs with broccoli, I loved that the meatballs weren't over processed or drenched in sauce, I was really impressed with the portion sizing too - I'll definitely be recreating this dish! Last but certainly not least, I tried the chicken in blue cheese sauce, I was really excited to try this meal because I am a big lover of blue cheese. I was not disappointed, it was out of this world and I even had my brother and Sofia trying to steal some. So what did I think of the Keto diet? Overall, I am still obsessed with Love Yourself. Not only is the delivery organised and efficient but the meals are simply delicious, the fact that they are all healthy and nutritious is certainly an added bonus. It just goes to show that eating healthy doesn't have to be bland or boring.

With Sofia running around in full blown toddler mode, its a lovely treat to have my meals ready to go. Love Yourself have such a wide variety of menu options so you can find a diet option to suit your taste, whether you prefer a vegetarian option or if you want to try a juice cleanse, you are spoilt for choice. For today's blog post I have a few outfits that were practical for the snow and some that left me slightly on the chilly side. I don't think I've ever had a little photoshoot session in the snow but I can confirm that it is not for the fainthearted, especially when you're just wearing a Black PU Corset* and open faux fur coat. Minus the weather, I absolutely love how this photo turned out, I simply adore this outfit and it is really easy to wear. The black faux leather corset top is a firm favourite of mine, I have had this top from Femme Luxe for over a year now and it simply goes with anything.

Whether you want to dress this up in the snow with a dramatic faux fur coat like me, or if you want to grab your skinny jeans and wear it with trainers, it both works. For the faux fur coat, I found this gem at a vintage market and I couldn't believe a full length fur coat would sell for just £40.00. For my hair, I decided to do a big, messy bun and leave a few strands out. It keeps the focus on the outfit and it makes it look very extra even if it is just for a trip outside in the snow. I'm sure when lockdown ends I'll be able to wear this outfit with a cocktail in my hand. For my next outfit, I grabbed a pair of faux leather leggings and a gorgeous Brown Black Patterned Crop Jumper* from Femme Luxe.

I love nude, brown jumpers at the moment and this jumper fits beautifully. A leather skirt or jeans would be another great way to style this jumper or if you want to make it really casual, Femme Luxe have a really cosy range of loungewear tracksuit bottoms. Last but not least, we have a gorgeous Stoned Knitted Coloured Cardigan*, this is super comfortable to wear and this has been my saviour throughout lockdown over the past few weeks. lockdown skin saviours ♥

I feel like a nice, chatty blog post today. I have my hot chocolate next to me while I type this and my electric blanket is working its magic. The snow has returned in London and I've spent the past few days trying to build a snowman for Sofia, we both need to take a break from my snowman building skills. Minus my hate for the outdoors and cold, I managed to shoot new blog content at the weekend. I really think my blog has been a life saviour for me when it comes to lockdown, especially when it comes to testing out new beauty products. I'm taking you back to 2005 when 14 year old Jade first tried the Dove Nourishing Body Care Self-Tan Lotion.

When the summer came, my friends and I were ready to tan our legs because we still hadn't discovered tanning mousse back then. After popping to the shops to grab some baby food for Sofia, I spotted the Dove Self-Tan Lotion on the shelf and I was instantly hit with nostalgia. I felt like I needed a break from my regular fake tan routine seeing as I don't want to use up all of my fake tan when I can't get dressed up and leave the house anyway, so a tinted tanning lotion seemed like a perfect idea. It is incredibly affordable for £2.99 and I have been applying the lotion for almost a week now and I think this is the lockdown pick me up I needed.

I've been applying the lotion an hour before I get to bed so it can dry and using it like a regular moisturiser has been perfect for me. We all know I love a multipurpose product and the consitency of the Dove lotion is thick, creamy and it feels lovely rubbing this into my skin. My skin feels smooth and soft and I apply it, I have usually been applying it after I come out of the shower. If you want a breaking from regular tanning and using a mitt but you still want a healthy glow, the Dove Self-Tan Lotion is still a dream come true. For £2.50 you can't go wrong and my tan is subtle and incredibly natural looking.

The next product I have been using over the past few weeks is from Superdrug, you may remember I was kindly sent a lovely care package from the Superdrug team, which included the Optimum Retinol Serum*. Not only is the packaging beautiful but this serum is incredibly light and easy to blend into your skin, I have been using this just before I get into bed. I have used a few retinol based products before that have left my face feeling sore and red but the Optimum Retinol Serum hasn't irritated my skin at all. My skin looks brighter and fresher and you only need a small pea sized amount. If you are a retinol newbie like me, this 30ml bottle is a perfect introduction, it is really affordable and there are quite a few retinol products in the Optimum range.

I will certainly be adding the Optimum Retinol Day Cream to my wish list, they also have a night cream, booster drops and an eye cream included in the range. Last but not least we have the Naturally Radiant Glow Skin Perfecting Booster, I was so excited to try this serum because my skin has been really dull lately and I don't know whether its because I'm stuck inside all of the time and I need a bit of sunshine in my life, or my lack of drinking enough water. Either way, I need all the help I can get. The Naturally Radiant booster serum not only looks pretty in pink but the ingredients sound good enough to eat.

Vegan and cruelty free, this serum is made from vegan coconut yoghurt and it designed to give your skin the perfect pick me up. I love applying this whenever I have a spare minute - I think I'm addicted. It has a very milky formula to it and is a lot lighter than the Optimum Retinol serum so I don't mind using both of them in my routine together. My skin feels dewy, soft and healthy after I apply a few drops on my face and I don't think I can live without either of these skin saviours now. So there we have it, a few new products, (and old favourites), that I have been using in my downtime when Sofia is not running circles around me. Well, Zoom date because technically we are still in a pandemic and in a lockdown while I am currently typing this. I am really excited because I’ve partnered up with Katch Me* to find three outfits that you could wear on your next Zoom date and of course I picked three faux leather items. I know most of us have reached the point where our jumper and comfy jogging bottoms are our saving grace and comfort blanket, especially as we’re stuck indoors for 99% of the time, but if you fancy dressing up like me, you will definitely want to keep on reading.

I love overdressing for any occasion and even though you’re only on a computer screen, I am still grabbing my heels and false lashes - even if my Zoom date won’t see past my waist, but hey, I think it gives you an extra confidence boost and you can always slyly swap your heels for your favourite slippers. For my first outfit, I picked a matching Brown Faux Leather Snake Print Co-Ord set, the boob tube and trousers are just bold and edgy and most of all, fun. I love wearing over the top animal prints and I get serious Coyote Ugly vibes from this set. If you wanted to make this outfit less eye popping, I would wear a black t-shirt with the trousers and I would wear high waisted leggings with the boob tube.

This actually brings us to my next outfit choice, I picked a pair of Black Faux Leather Croc Trousers and if you want one staple item in your wardrobe, you can't go wrong with a pair of faux leather trousers. I ordered a size S/M which is an 8/10 and they fit me like a glove. They are incredibly flattering and they would look perfect with any type of heel. I grabbed a pair of nude stilettos and a floaty, brown strap top to add a little glam but these trousers really do all the hard work for you. I love how easy they are to wear and if you don't feel like wearing a dress or skirt for your Zoom date, you will still feel dressy in faux leather croc print.

Last but certainly not least, I picked a Brown Faux Leather Side Slit Midi Skirt, the fit is incredible and it has been such a long time since I found a midi skirt that fitted my waist and legs without being baggy or too tight. I love the high split on the side and the colour is perfection, I have fallen in love with this outfit. I decided to grab a nude bodysuit and I wanted to keep the colour palette neutral, we all know I am not a fan of noisy prints or too many colours so this outfit is one of my new favourites. For me, the faux leather trend will always be my favourite, I love the 90's vibe and I think it adds extra edge to any outfit, especially if you have a date right around the corner.

I know with lockdown it has been pretty hard to mingle and meet new people but I love the idea of wearing a new outfit for a Zoom date. So grab your favourite cocktail or glass of wine and don't forget to have fun. I think dressing up over the lockdown period has kept me sane and I can't wait until I can wear these outfits in London with loud music (preferably Justin Bieber), and a cocktail in my hand. For me, Valentine's Day just reminds me of red and gold. It is all I can think about and every year I love creating a Valentine's Day gift guide. Not only does it look aesthetically pleasing but I love seeing the latest lingerie. I am obsessed with buying myself new lingerie at the moment, it just makes me feel nice and whether you are single or coupled up with v-day, I think we can all appreciate a gift guide where you can treat yourself and feel loved. For once I am really early with my Valentine's Day gift guide and this means you have even more time to shop. Basically, spend February 14th with your bank card ready while you make your favourite cocktail and watch Desperate Housewives the in the background. I thought it would be nice to check off all of the Valentine's Day cliches, red lipsticks, a red dress, red lingerie - you name it, I've found it. What do you think of my v-day gift guide? the diary #07 ♥

We are starting another week in lockdown and while I am typing this, Sofia is having her afternoon nap so I am taking full advantage and writing a new blog post. When I started The Diary series, I wanted to be able to write down key moments and memories so I can look back in a few years time and see how much has changed or even stayed the same. This is certainly the case with Sofia, she is changing everyday and there are so many milestones that she hasn't even crossed paths with yet. On Sunday we hit a very big milestone, she finally saw snow for the first time! Of course I had to grab my tripod and take photos of our first day in the snow together.

I am really not a fan of the cold weather but it was a lovely experience seeing her run around and we even attempted to make a snowman. Although she ate his grape hat, we had a really nice day and I'm so glad that even with lockdown, she got to enjoy the snow. We also fed the squirrels at the weekend and I can happily admit that I was terrified while Sofia kept grabbing my hand while trying to chase after them. I have actually bought a sketch pad and watercolour pencils to relax so I can relax in the evening and Sofia and I have started drawing together. I've started making a folder of our scribbles and drawings and I hope next year we can see how far she has come along.

If lockdown has taught me anything, it is how quickly time goes by and I love capturing every moment that I can. Milestones aside, I spent this morning making Sofia boiled egg and toast, reading the children's book Buffy the Vampire Slayer, playing with her Barbie's and giving my room a tidy. After Sofia is asleep, I have been reading my Crime Monthly magazine, watching Season 1 of Desperate Housewives for the first time and I am getting into a pretty good workout routine late in the evenings. I am walking Kobi and Esse with my dad in the evenings as well and it is pretty calming, especially when I turn my heated blanket on before bed. The life of a party animal. femme luxe series #25 ♥

Can you believe this is my 25th Femme Luxe* blog post collaboration? I feel so lucky that I get to style and create content for Femme Luxe and today is no exception. Yes, we are still in lockdown and my wardrobe is slowly turning into an art gallery full of loungewear. Although I can have down days about lockdown, I definitely don't mind wearing comfy tracksuit bottoms all day, which brings us to my first outfit for today's post. I picked a classic pair of grey jogging bottoms, I actually ordered a size bigger than my regular size just because I am loving the baggy fit at the moment. The large pockets are always a win, win for me and I think every girl needs a grey pair in her collection.

They go with everything, including my cropped gym top that I paired them with. Next we have a classic loungewear set, this wine coloured combination is the definition of comfort, I find it super easy to wear and you just can't go wrong with a matching legging and long sleeved jumper. Femme Luxe have quite a few different versions of this set but I think the wine red is such a gorgeous colour. Finally, we have a nude ruched bodycon dress. I am a big fan of this dress because the square neckline is really flattering and the dress itself is really versatile.

It does feel like dressing up is a distant memory at the moment but I’m still getting my wardrobe ready and waiting for the moment we can have cocktails and dinner in London again. I would grab my faux leather Zara blazer to wear with this dress or if I wanted to make it look really casual, I would grab my denim jacket and white trainers. This is certainly a perfect choice for the summer season but a faux fur coat will certainly help if you want to make it more suitable for the winter weather. Another day of lockdown can be crossed off our calendar, I think I've lost count now and I know most of us are feeling pretty demotivated at the moment. We all have different coping mechanisms for dealing with the pandemic and whatever works for you is the main thing. I feel much better when I spend a little time pampering myself and focusing on self-care. So for today's post I wanted to talk about shaving and my top tips for soft, smooth legs. I was kindly sent the B. 5 Blade Pink & Rose Gold razor* to try from the lovely team at Superdrug. Its not everyday that you get to test out Superdrug goodies so of course I had to get my camera and nightdress out for a typical, posed Jade photo shoot. Over the top posing aside, I used the razor on Wednesday night and I am pretty blown away by how smooth it left my legs feeling.
