Ask your child:

• Who created the heavens and the earth? God
• What did God say about everything He had made? It was good
• Why did God make man? For His glory

Emphasize this principle: God created all things to bring Him glory. Therefore, we should show the world what he is like.

Practice:

• Praise God for making the heavens and the earth.
• Obey God, who made us.
• Live in a way that displays the character of God to others.

Emphasize this principle: God promises a glorious future for his children. Therefore, we should repent and live for that day.

Emphasize this principle: God judges sin and rewards faith. Therefore, we should follow Christ and share him with others.

• Escape God’s judgment by believing in Christ and repenting of sin.
• Eagerly share the gospel with others who are not saved.

• What happened when Peter preached in Cornelius’s home? The Holy Spirit fell upon the Gentile believers.

Emphasize this principle: God offers salvation to all people. Therefore, we should believe and proclaim the truth to others.

• Rejoice that God has chosen to save both Jews and Gentiles.
• Share the gospel with those around you.

• How did Saul demonstrate his faith in Jesus? Saul proclaimed Christ and urged others to follow Him.

Emphasize this principle: God can transform anyone’s life. Therefore, we should repent and seek to be used by Him.

• Ask the Lord to use you in His service.

Emphasize this principle: There is power in Jesus’ name. Therefore, we should believe in Him and represent Him to others.

• What happened on the day of Pentecost? The Holy Spirit indwelt Christ’s followers and enabled them to speak in languages understood by foreign peoples. Peter proclaimed the gospel. 3000 believed and were baptized.
• What characterized the lives of early Christians? They cared for the needs of fellow believers.

Emphasize this principle: God has given us a mission. Therefore, we should tell others about Jesus.
