My husband and I recently began attending Faithbridge and had our 3 young nieces in town for the holiday, so we all came to the celebration at church. It was a fabulous evening and their mom said she couldn't think of a better way to celebrate the 4th. We were almost home from the church when we were rear ended by a suspected drunk driver. The police estimate he was traveling between 50 and 60 mph. He made no attempt to stop. Our van was pushed nearly 200 feet and into oncoming traffic. My youngest niece was knocked out for several minutes. We were all taken to hospitals via ambulance and have various injuries. We survived only by the grace of God. Please pray for our healing.

She struggles with acute endometriosis and autoimmune disorder, and is in pain almost daily. She has small children and a husband who travels and is away alot. Update: Prayers still needed! The Lord has faithfully provided funds to repair our old worn out vehicles. He has also provided a buyer who needs to close by the end of July. However, Chase needs to approve the contract ASAP so not to lose the buyer. Please pray they approve it, patience and time provision for buyer so not to pull the deal. Prayers are also needed for us to have a place to live, expenses and physical strengthen to move. Our credit has been affected and we need a landlord with grace and mercy. As Job, I'm faithfully praying for Faithbridge and those in need. God bless ya'll! Original request: I have faithfully walked with and imitated Christ to my husband through the toughest longest trail in his life and our marriage, but I'm so tired and see little answer to prayers or times of fasting. He has as well. The stronghold of unbelief over God's loving care for him personal will not break. He's confused regarding the sovereignty of God and why he should pray if God's plan will provail regardless. Please pray for him to know the breadth, lengthen, height and depth of God's love for him and to see it in a tangible way. He's been out of his field for employment since 2002, had multiple employers due to company closures, our house is now foreclosing if it doesn't sell by Sept 6. and our old cars need thousand of dollars in repair to run to even get to work. This is the first time i've done something like this but i do believe in miracles. My boyfriend is addicted to drugs(pills). He goes thru these weird mad mood swings and his family & friends suffer his wrath, Our money also suffers. I took him to the 4th special with the church and he seen on the ride home a msg that he felt was to him. He even exclaimed " did u see that? That was meant for me! " I didnt see but i am happy he did. He asked me to join him in his (start of going to church). I agreed ! We havent found a home church yet bc I am catholic and he is Baptist so the whole religion politics is just a mess. So PLEASE pray that Wess is touched by God and sees that negative things he is doing in his life not only hurts him but everyone. Let him learn to stay away from that for good! Hello, I have a special prayer request. you all have been praying for Kimberly for mos. now. And with everyone's prayers she came out of stage 4 ovarian cancer and now Doctors cant explain how it is now gone with her latest CT scan! Gods miracles have happened. She is so happy but now she is suffering a different kind of pain. She has been living with her mom and sister since the cancer treatment. They are not Christians. Very bitter hateful verbally abusive to Kim. Kim has bi-polar which she has meds for, but right now-well about 4 weeks ago a lady gave Kim a full bred border collie. They are about 750 dollars. And that dog has made a world of difference along with God. Now they want her out now the cancer is gone, but she still has 5 more Chemo treatments to make sure its all gone. They provoke her into getting her going-like starting fights just for the fact if Kim says anything they can kick her out. I just pray for Kimberly's mother and sister-that they might have a heart or something not to kick kim out on the streets sick from her chemo. Her moms side are all the same, no love for Kim. She is a great person who really believes and lives by God. And she is devasted knowing no one wants her, and she terrified where she's going to go. She gets a disability check once a month for seizure and bi polar. But I can't help her cause i trying to get my life back on track, and fortunately i have supportive christian parents. Kim has none, I pray for Kim that she will trust in God and be strong through these difficult times. Please if anyone knows a place temporarily she can stay till she finished her kemo or until she can get her own place that would be a blessing. we need to help not only the unbelievers but us too ya know. Please pray for her family that something will give and comfort for kim. thanks so much.

The pathology report showed that her tumor is a stage 4....the worst grade. My husband was deinsaogd with esophageal cancer in April. He has undergone chemo and radiation therapy. Through this, he has found a true relationship with our Lord Jesus and not just a mental knowledge. For that I am thankful. God has had him in the palm of his hand and he has tolerated this treatment with little side effects although this has not been easy. His last PET scan showed no hot spots or active cancer but it is still recommended that he have surgery to remove his esophagus. He is scared to death despite his faith and prayers. Our hope is that God would perform a healing miracle so that the surgery and life style change would not be necessary. If he should allow this surgery to be performed, we are standing in faith that all will be well and he will be cured. My husband is 58.Due to this disease, my husband was forced to retire; thankfully, he has been approved for disability. These payments will not begin until December and we have taken measures to reduce our financial load. So far, God has blessed us and provided but by my eyes and finite mind, this money will not last past another month or two. I feel maybe it would be best to sell our house, horses, and goats and downsize to a more affordable dwelling which requires less upkeep, time and would allow us more financial stability. I have a high pressure job but thankfully, understanding cohorts have been supportive and tolerant of my absences when necessary. The pressure I feel at this time is overwhelming and I feel myself succumbing at times into a place of just let me hide in a corner and let the world leave me alone. I have asked Jesus to guide me, strengthen me and show me the best course of action and to bless that action and give me the strength to do what I need to do. Please God, help us.In Jesus name.

I have faithfully walked with and imitated Christ to my husband through the toughest longest trail in his life and our marriage, but I'm so tired and see little answer to prayers or times of fasting. He has as well. The stronghold of unbelief over God's loving care for him personal will not break. He's confused regarding the sovereignty of God and why he should pray if God's plan will provail regardless. He will be tested on June 21st for Autism, Asperger...etc. Please pray that as parents we are guided in the Lord's way regardless of the outcome. Please pray for my mother, Torivia. She has severe RA, Rheumatoid Arthritis. She gets infusions once a month and is on all kinds of medication and pain pills, but she's still is in constant pain. She can't sleep thru the night because of all the pain. It's never ending...there is no relief. My husband and I care for her the best way we can, but it's heartbreaking to watch her suffer as she does. Please pray that the Lord heals her completely. We believe in miracles and I know she can be healed by the Lord's hand. Please pray for her mental well-being as well. She feels as if she's being punished for past sin. She is born again, but still has some guilt from time to time. I call satan out when this happens and it seems to pass, but I think the pain causes some depression which opens a door for satan and his lies. She is a beautiful person and deserves some peace. Please pray for my wonderful husband. He has had back problems for a month now, but it's getting better. They can't seem to find what's going on, but I'm sure there's some stress issues there. I was diagnosed back in 2005 with Neurofibromatosis 2 (NF2) is a genetic disorder in which tumors form on the nerves of the brain and spine (the central nervous system). I've had surgery in 2006 for this. They say I still have half a tumor from the surgery on 5 & 6 vertebrae area and in both my acoustic nerves in my head. I have been very blessed by the Lord during this time. I would just like to ask for prayer for complete healing. I know this is possible. In the meantime, I have a follow-up MRI testing to be done on the brain, neck and spine on June 13th at 12:30 - 3:30, an ear test this month (haven't set appt. yet.) to see how my hearing is doing, and the follow-up for results to the MRI test with neurosurgeon on June 21st at 2:20 p.m. I am praying he will say they are all gone!! I have been having trouble with work. I have recently had a break through with my faith and how much I rely on God. I have been stepping out further and further in faith and I am feeling the effects of spiritual warfare in my life. I have been praying more and have reached out to my small group for determination and patience during this transitional period. However I do need to think about my family and I know that a change in career is most likely eminent. I need prayer as to help me in my search for a new job and \ or my decision making in the current one. I want to do Gods will this time. The career I have now was my choice and I walked away from many things God may have had in store for me. I was a Youth Pastor, Sunday School Teacher, Worship Leader, and, Drama Director for Citi - Church Houston in 2002-2003. The Pastor hired a co-pastor and his son took over the youth group and worship leader positions. I continued with the Sunday school and Drama department and then the church sold the building to another church and they took over. I decided to leave and Joined Faithbridge with my girlfriend, who is now my wife and mother of my two children, in 2003-2004. I joined the company I am still with then as well. I went into management and could not serve due to scheduling issues and did not get involved with the youth for the same reasons. I know I need to shout out the name of Jesus and show that he is in my life in everything I do. Problem is that it is starting to effect my current position. The company I work for is changing with the economy and no longer sees the understanding, personable, and compassionate, person I am as an asset but as a hindrance to business. I am open to the fact that I may need to change some of the ways I manage but think that these realizations are to little to late. Please help me in asking for perseverance, discernment, and the well being of my family! Thank you, Shawn

A few years ago, my Husband went to a co-workers home to pick him up. As they were getting ready to leave, the co-worker went in to tell his step-daughter goodbye and together they found she had hung herself in her closet. This image and reality for my Husband has haunted him ever since. I want to say this was 2 years ago. I am trying to find him counseling to help him deal with this, but am trying to be selective. He has trouble sleeping sometimes, other times he just breaks into tears. It is too much for him to obviously deal with on his own and he could really use prayer and guidance on how to deal with this. He does not attend church, but is almost there. He just needs to feel God's love around him right now. I am sad for him because I can't imagine what that's like. He has also had some other situation come up within the last month that I would like to remain quiet about. But he is very emotionally fragile right now and really could use your prayers! I have overcome an opiote addiction and have been clean now for 16 months. However, I do not feel good still and I know it is a result of my brain going back to normal. Some say it takes a good two years. I am a single parent of a 6 year old boy and a 4 year old girl and am growing weary of this recovery period. I have gone to celebrate recovery and it helps. My prayer is just simply that the Lord will lift this burden from me and that my mental state will at least get back to a more normal state. My daughter Kristi, who leaves in San Antonio, is in the middle of a really bad divorce. She has a precious little 2 1/2 year old son named Tristan. The dad just got into AA in October. He also joined facebook, connected with a lady and Kristi saw phone records for 158 text messages between 10 pm and 1 am. when confronted he left the house and went to his Mom's to live. Shortly after he filed for divorce. He said he would have never married Kristi if he had been sober. Kristi is precious and has been a wonderful stay at home mom. It is killing her to know she has to go back to work and leave him at daycare.Thank you for your prayers....Have heard so many great things about your church. We have a close friend that suffered a miscarriage several months back. She is pregnant again and the first ultra-sound came back with some alarming results. It could be that it was just too early to tell, or it could mean that the baby will not advance. She is a kind, loving, woman that wants a baby fiercely. She has been praying to understand God's plan and to maintain faith. She is scared, sad, and trying to stay positive. Please pray that it was just an early ultrasound and she will have a happy healthy baby.

Baby Tucker was admitted to the hospital yesterday and doing much better today; he is being treated for Pneumonia even though he does not appear to have it. Mom is happy with aggressive treatment and it appears to be working! Thank you for joining everyone else who is praying for this precious little guy. Jinger, his mom, said on FB she wishes she could thank everyone personally for their prayers and support. This family lost their first child to Leukemia on her 8 month birthday in 2006. I just received lab results showing I am anemic and need a blood transfustion. In addition I am suffering from alcoholism. This is a praise report! God is good to me and mine! And please continue the prayers, as I know the Lord can heal my brother if it is His will. This past Saturday, 4/7, after a long day of tests and thinking he was going to be placed in a convalescent home, he went to his own home on that evening. He cannot walk or stand up on his own and has to be on continuous oxygen, but at least he is in his own home. He will have someone coming to his home on a daily basis to help him walk and do leg exercises to help him get his strength back in his legs. They are still only giving him about six months to live without chemo. So, once he is strong enough, they will look at the option of starting chemo treatments again.

Please pray for physical and emotional healing for me. I have been dealing with a painful back issue for the past few months and am unable to get much pain relief. I am now trying accupuncture as a last resort. My son (26 yrs. old) has mental health issues. He is trying to restart his life. He has returned to college. He feels so much apprehension, anxiety and fear. This week as he was cleaning his gun he shot himself in the knee. This is not the first time that he has discharged a gun into his leg. Both were classified as accidental shootings by the police. We feel that he has been under attack by Satan for a long time. He is held in a stronghold that he cannot break free of. He tells us that he is at his breaking point, He is a believer. He's not walking with God, but will allow us to speak to him about God and pray over him. I don't even know what to ask you to pray for. I trust that if you will ask the Holy Spirit He will give you the needs to pray for on my son's behalf. He is a wonderful, compassionate young man. Satan cannot have his soul. He is sealed by the Holy Spirit. However Satan is trying to steal his mental health and the purpose for which my son was created for. This must not happen. This is a serious battle in the heavens and only prayer can break Satan's hold. Thank you.

Just wanted to update the prayer request. Annie is now 32 weeks along in her pregnancy. She has 4 more weeks to go and is doing great. My husband and my sister have had an epic argument. If fact, it feels as though their differences are irrepairable. Dad has acute leukemia, has been in and out of the hospital for the last 85 days (doing well for a while) and has been admitted (today) for the next 30 days to have a stem cell bone marrow transplant on Tuesday, 1/10. He started chemo today and will have it for 5 days. It will be rough on his body starting in about 2 weeks until 3-6 months (but especially for those first 2 weeks). Please pray that the transplant will cure the cancer, that his body will respond well to it, that he is able to eat and walk around, avoid infection and any other illness. Also, please pray for our family in general. Thanks!

My son and daughter in law are expecting their 7th child. They have lost the last 3, and they have 3 wonderful children. There is a diagnosis as to why she lost the last three so the doctor has a plan of action to ensure the delivery of a full term healthy baby, this is great news, but I would like the one true Doctor to be in total control of this pregnancy! I have been quite ill for the past year and a half. I underwent a surgery for a double right-side hernia repair...that caused damage to my bladder. The mesh used to do the repair was the cause of injury. Since I'm a STROKE survivor I can't have the mesh removed nor undergo removal of my bladder for reconstruction of a new one. I'm too HIGH-RISK. I have been in so much pain that narcotics they prescribed don't work. Nor the procedures they could safely perform. I AM IN SUCH NEED OF PRAYER....NEED OF GOD'S MERCY & HEALING TOUCH ON MY BODY. The doctors said the last procedure ( that didn't work) was my last hope....NO...JESUS CHRIST IS MY LAST HOPE. AMEN

I am a single mother working 2 jobs trying to support my 11 yr. old daughter and myself. I do not receive any child support or additional help other than my 2nd job. During the summer my 2nd hand clothes dryer quit working and we have been drying our clothes on a clothes line in the back yard. Thank you for your prayers regarding my Father's interment in San Diego. God was gracious and 40 people were in attendance. Some drove over 2 hours to come to honor my Father. I was able to see my Father placed in his niche. It gave me peace to see the completion to my promise. God was gracious and there were no animosity..

Layton woke up Thursday morning. It had been a bad week and they were preparing to put in a stomach feeding tube on Thursday and move him to a maintenance type hospital for long term care. When I was there Tuesday he was continuing to move his body but not waking up. Does PRAYER work???? We are so grateful for his progress. The doctors have said they don't recall seeing someone with the extent of his injuries make the quick progress he has (16 days out doesn't seem quick to us but I'm sure it is). My father died on Sept. 20, 2011. There has been a battle over his ashes. Miraculously I was given his ashes, allowed to follow his instructions and complete a promise I made. Now here we are 5 weeks since his death. My family and I are traveling out to San Diego for the interment ceremony. No one within this family are Christians. My only sister also falls into that group. There is much anger and distrust running rampant. Please pray for God's presence to be strong in us and around us. Pray protection over my family and complete peace. Pray I will finish well and to God's great glory. And my heart's desire is to be allowed to witness my father's ashes being placed in his niche. They say that is not possible given our time constraints. We are flying home that afternoon. But I know I have a God who promises me the desires of my heart, and He is never under any time constraints.

I am scheduled to return to court again Monday at 10:00 am, on behalf of my son. This has been an ongoing process regarding support for him, especially with regards to his continuous medical needs. Through prayer his heath has stabilized with the wonderful care and instruction provided by his Asthma and Allergy Specialist. I have spent fewer days in the emergency room and/or care clinics. Please continue to keep my son in your prayers. Please pray for Meghan, as she was just diagnosed with seizure disorder this summer; proof to the constant falls and odd behaviors. Her motor skills now appear to be improving with better balance; however she continues to have difficulty remembering as it relates to school expectations (placing her name on papers and following through with task expectations). Please pray for the patience of her teachers’ and me as we gain understanding of her situation. She is a very intelligent child (meeting/exceeds expectations on state exams), just the every day part of following through and completing task that are expected of her without constant reminding is difficult. Please, pray for the AGC ministry.

Thank you for your prayers in the past in regards to my dad and his illness. Praise to God who has helped me move past my hurt and unforgiving spirit towards him for not being a godly earthly father. Much healing has taken place in my heart this summer to which I owe all to God's pursuing nature. Without going into all details, of beautiful things that have happened, ( since you receive many to read), my state of depravity and my need of forgiveness is directly in relation to my ability to forgive him. Praise God for the truth & reality of this in my life. Currently, my dad is alive but has given up the will to live, and my mom has finally accepted that truth and spent time with the Lord this day, and in the Word. After speaking to the Doctor she has let him go and now knows he is in God's hand and the Lord will take him when it is that appointed time. Please pray as Lord leads, and pray us 6 kids will know if and when we should go be with them, they are in CO and we have all been there this fall but are contemplating going back. For my friend's very young son, Gabriel. About a year and a half ago he was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma and is currently at stage 3. My dear friend's 23 year old son was diagnosed last week with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome/Sticklers Syndrome. It affects collagen and connective tissues meaning joints easily dislocate, etc. He's in constant pain and will eventually have to use a walker and maybe a wheelchair. Symptoms are devastating. As a newly married couple, my husband became ill with an aggressive cancer. We were blessed with a full recovery after equally aggressive chemo, but it has left us unable to conceive, and my time is running out. Please pray that if it is within God's will that he will bless us in being able to conceive a healthy, happy child. I very much would like the experience of being able to carry a child. Please pray for 8 year old Cole from Wisconsin - Eau Claire area. My aunt's student from last year, Cole, age 8, was accidentally run over by a tractor (farm tractor I believe) driven by his father earlier this week. He was life-flighted to Eau Claire and then Rochester. He is in critical condition, with 3/4 of his liver damaged, punctured a lung, and internal bleeding. As of today, his lungs keep filling with fluids and they don't know why. Two years ago their house burned down right before the start of the school year, and now this, again, just before the start of their school year in Wisconsin. The family also had a baby born around that time (age 2 now) who has had several strokes. Please pray for God's healing hand for Cole. But not only for Cole, please pray for his dad, as the guilt must be terrible. Please pray for his entire family as they have been through a lot. Please also pray for extended family, including my aunt and his classmates, as they cope with the uncertainty of Cole's health.

My mother received word today that her car will be repossessed if she does not come up with close to $2000 in less than a month's time. My mother lives with me and does not make enough money to pay this. I am a single mother, and I don't have any money to help her out with this. This is actually all she owes on the car, but if she cannot pay it, she will lose the car that she has spent so much time and money into. I pray that she will not get discouraged, and that God will do what is best in this situation. Without her car, she would not be able to get to work.
