So far we have covered what exactly the <a href="http://faithfulbloggers.com/blogging/blogging-by-the-fruit-of-the-spirit/">Fruit of the Spirit</a> is, the <a href="http://faithfulbloggers.com/blogging/blogging-tips-from-the-fruit-of-the-spirit-love/">Spirit of Love</a> and the <a href="http://faithfulbloggers.com/blogging/blogging-tips-from-the-fruit-of-the-spirit-joy/">Spirit of Joy</a>. Today I am going to cover the Spirit of Peace.</p> <p>“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23</p> <p>In David Guzik’s <a href="http://www.blueletterbible.org/commentaries/comm_view.cfm?AuthorID=2&contentID=8031&commInfo=31&topic=Galatians&ar=Gal_5_22">Study Guide for Galatians 5</a>, David describes this peace as “<em>a peace with God, peace with people, and it is a positive peace, filled with blessing and goodness – not simply the absence of fighting.</em>” It is the peace of God that surpasses all understanding (Philipians 4:7).</p> <p>How can we incorporate this kind of peace in our blog?</p> <p><strong>Should you even be blogging? </strong>If you ask me what the first step in creating a blog is, my answer would be to pray about it. After praying if you feel the peace of God about start a blog, then go for it. If you don’t have that peace and still blog, you might notice that it just doesn’t go the way you though it would, they way you want. Part of having the pace of God, is knowing you are doing God’s will and it’s probably not God’s will for all of us to blog.<strong></strong></p> <p><strong>What you put on your blog? </strong>There is a lot of advice online about what you should and shouldn’t put on your blog. Should you write about your personal life, should you use affiliate links, should you advertise, should you use your real name?<strong> </strong>I don’t think there is one correct answer for everyone. Everyone is different. Everyone blogs for different reasons. God’s will for each blog is different. Just pray about what you put on your blog, the content you create, and the information you share so that you can be at peace and know that you are doing what God wants you to do.</p> <p><strong>How you interact with others? </strong>Have you ever sent an email and wished you could get it back the instant you hit that send button? I’m sure we all have at one point or another. It’s important that we pray and think before we interact with others – especially if emotions are running high. The only way to have peace when interacting with other bloggers, blog readers, companies, advertisers, etc., is if we let God control the encounter. If you don’t have peace about what you are about to say, email, put on Facebook, stop, step back, and pray about it.</p> <p>Blogging can be a lot of fun. It can even be a profitable.
