To make several servings of great tasting iced tea quickly, try using your automatic drip coffee maker.

The process here is the same as making coffee. Fill coffee maker with 12 cups of cold water. Place paper coffee filter in basket and add 8 tea bags (tags cut off). I like to make my tea strong and add a lot of ice to it – you can adjust the strength to your liking. Once the water has run through the machine and tea is brewed, turn it off, take pot off of burner and let tea cool down for a bit. Add brewed tea to an ice-filled glass, add sugar and lemon to taste.

A cuff from a pair of jeans is now helping me to keep my desk clear of clutter.

A Magnetic Bulldog Clip holds my new office pocket to my magnet board.

Just turn cuff inside out, sew cut end closed, turn right side out and clip pocket to your fridge or magnet board with a Magnetic Bulldog Clip (available at office supply stores – they're about $4.00 for a 3-pack).

I found that keeping the pocket long and folding it to the length I wanted gave me more flexibility. If I want to use the pocket to hold my headphones, I can leave the pocket long.

The Bulldog clip is very strong and will even hold up a heavier item, like my headphones.

Keep it long or roll it short, this easy-to-make pocket is a handy way to keep clutter off of your work surface.

Just cut watermelon into 1-inch cubes, place in a bowl and set in the freezer overnight. When added to flat or sparkling water, watermelon ice cubes add a subtle sweetness to your drink.

When I work with paper bags, I like to condition the paper a bit and add interesting texture to it by wrinkling it up and then smoothing it out. Once the paper looks the way I like, I cut out 6, 5-inch squares from the paper.

Using the serge function on my sewing machine and red thread, I sewed four panels together.

I then sewed on the base panel and sewed together 3 edges of the top panel (leave one edge open to insert your gift). I stuffed the box with a bit of tissue paper to fill it out, placed my gift inside and sewed the last edge closed.

Punch two holes into the top panel (across from each other) and string a strand of jute or yarn through the holes, add a gift tag and double knot both ends to secure.

The note is attached to the handle.

To open, just tear off the top.

For this project I used: one 29 0z. tomato sauce can, 40 corks (cut in half with a knife) and a glue gun.

Glue halved corks to can, cut side facing in.

I was able to cover the entire can evenly with rows of five.

This project took me about 20 minutes from start to finish.

My husband and I bought this entertainment armoire when we were first married. We no longer use it to house our TV, so we converted it into a work station.

The shelves already had openings for cords, so the transition was quite easy. This armoire is now the perfect place to hide the scanner and other necessary work-related supplies.

I painted the interior side of the doors with a few coats of blackboard paint – to add more functionality to the space.

Our daughters' artwork and other eye candy decorate the interior walls and lift my spirits when I engage with this space.

An inexpensive IKEA light now shines some much-needed light from above.

All of these changes helped to make this space less of a drag to visit and less of an eyesore when the doors are open.
