25-26 / 04 VIF: VENETIAN INDUSTRIES FESTIVAL @ RIVOLTA (VENEZIA)

L'associazione N.E.D.A.C.(www.nedac.it) in collaborazione con il CSO Rivolta (www.csorivolta.org), grazie al successo dell'edizione 2006, presenta la nuova edizione del Venetian Industries Festival.

Si tratta di un evento unico nel suo genere che ha l'obiettivo di promuovere una nuova e intelligente interazione tra artisti, in particolare musicisti e dj, operatori del settore, mondo della comunicazione, sponsor tecnici e pubblico, catalizzando il meglio della proposta veneta e rendendo così ancor più visibile il gran numero di piccole ma vitali realtà che si muovono sul territorio regionale, distanti dai circuiti commerciali della musica e dell'arte contemporanea.

La novità di quest'anno consiste nel fatto che sono state coinvolte anche etichette e associazioni culturali che operano al di fuori dei confini veneti, ma vicine per sensibilità e direzione a quello che durante le due giornate verrà proposto.

Appartenenti alla scena veneta saranno invece i musicisti e gli artisti invitati ad esibirsi.

Il VIF 2008 ha l'ambizione di voler fornire un'occasione festosa d'incontro e di scambio, che nello stesso tempo possa rappresentare una vetrina sull'Europa: al festival sono, infatti, stati invitati organizzatori di eventi ed esponenti del settore artistico-culturale, quali curatori di rassegne, responsabili di etichette indipendenti, editori, tour manager, provenienti da diversi paesi europei!

Ospiti straordinari di questa edizione, grazie alla mitica etichetta inglese Soma Records, saranno i Black Dog, che ritornano sulla scena della musica elettronica mondiale con il loro ultimo album "Radio Scarecrow"!

IL VIF sarà:

- Quattro palchi a tema in altrettante sale/aree concerto attrezzate per i vari generi musicali proposti(Pop-Rock, Neofolk, Jazz di ricerca, ElectroPop, Elettronica, Elettroacustica..)

- Due serate di musica dance elettronica che seguiranno alle attività e alle esibizioni dei gruppi. Alcuni tra i più interessanti dj e vj della scena veneta si esibiranno in consolle nel corso della due giorni, mentre altri, coinvolti dalle etichette d'appartenenza, avranno uno spazio per showcase all'interno del meeting delle etichette e nelle eventuali pause tra le esibizioni.

- Musica Classica Contemporanea: esibizione dell'Ensemble "L'Arsenale" di Treviso del Maestro Lorenzo Tomio.

- Meeting delle Etichette Indipendenti: numerose realtà tra etichette, case editrici, distributori, associazioni e circoli culturali che proporranno i loro lavori, le loro iniziative e avranno a disposizione un apposito spazio espositivo dove poter interagire e inscenare interessanti showcase.

- Art Expo: esposizione di opere, installazioni e video di giovani artisti, alcuni dei quali provenienti dall'Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia.
