As was stated in a earlier post, I found Theresa (or Clarissa, whichever is her real name) living with her parents and sisters in the 1860 and 1870 censuses. She was married in May of 1887 to John J Eck. So where was she in the 1880 census?I found Theresa living as a domestic in the household of Samuel Crantz. I mentioned that I had ordered the probate records for John and Urusula Bank (Theresa's parents). I received them within a weeks time of ordering them from the Montour County, Pennsylvania courthouse.In the probate of John Bank, it states that he died Wednesday, 24 Jan 1894 in Danville, Montour, Pennsylvania. I found it through the Cleveland Public Library's Necrology File. I emailed the library and they sent me a photocopy of the obituary. I was very pleased with how fast I was able to get the obit and how easy it was to find. After I had a chance to look at the 1891 census and find the ROGERS family, I have made some great discoveries. As I said in my last post, I found that George Rogers' parents were John S Rogers and Sophia Whitmore. I found Sophia living next door to John in 1851 with their parents. I have been focusing my research on my Ontario family. I have been looking at the mircofilm for the Canadian censuses (since they are not all online) and I also started looking at some cemetery transcriptions. His death certificate is below. He had moved in with his son Frederick after Caroline died.Caroline died from chronic broncitis and heart failure on 07 May 1902 in Terrington St Clement, Norfolk, England.
