We were in Target last week and zipping along on one of my "missions" getting some groceries, and I spied the Target spice jars (shown in the upper photo). I looked at him and said......"I'd love a spice shelf that these would fit on". The look of the jars is so plain and primitive. And so when we got home, out to the woodshop he went and voila.........this is what he made. yep.......you guessed it........while posting the last two posts about collections,<br />
I thought "how on earth could I leave out my crock collection?"<br />
so here it is.........<br />
The cupboard that sits under the second shelf of crocks, is hiding my plastic laundry hangers. Hubby hates seeing those out for view, so he built the little cupboard special for just the hangers. <br />
The bottom cupboard is where the extra Puffs and paper towels are stored.<br />
The antique cupboard hanging on the wall over the barrels, is my<br />
"spice cupboard" and has little shelves inside that hold my spices.<br />
I bought that cupboard off a friend years ago for $10.00.<br />
Wish I could find more of those prices nowadays......(thanks Tracey!!)<br />
The one thing I truly wish I could change in this corner, is that silly electric cord hanging down for my little light.......but the little light is used as our "nite lite" and so far I haven't found a good way to camoflage it.<br />
