I have a confession to make, I love luxury clothing items. Like you may I am still a student, so I have not much money to spend on clothes monthly. But I think that when you buy less stuff from H&M for example and more items that are from a better quality you make an invesment.

There is one store in my study city (and favorite cities to shop in The Netherlands) called Humanoid. This is an amazing store full of luxury items. I can walk around in this store for hours and still not be bored.

Today I want to share their new looks for coming spring/summer. Sorry for the overload of photos, but it was hard to make a choose from all the beautiful looks. You can also take a look at the webshop from Humanoid.

Dagmar Pre Fall 2012 Collection

I love the pre fall 2012 lookbook from Dagmar. You can say that it was love at First sight. This beautiful collection contains comfortable styles where you see sporty items mixed with chic ones. Loose silhouettes, comfortable casheres and stretchy jerseys are pretty lolve in this lookbook.

With a mix of opposites this collection shows a perfect balance between different aspects and the perfect answer to the need of every women.

McQ Fall 2012 Line

When I was in New York City last summer I visit the exhibition of Alexander McQueen. Ever since I am interested in fashion I love the designs of McQueen. On Monday the new collection from McQ was refiled. Gorgeous collection, beautiful carpet and I have to say that Sarah the name of Lee maintains.

A carpet of brown autumn leaves, a hut in the middle of the forest with blaring techno music and a supermodel in an ivory ball gown giving out drinks.

Th collection was for women and men too. But today I want to tell you something about the women collection. This collection majored on a classic McQueen silhouette. The nipped-waist, military coats and jackets, full-skirted outline, and embossed leather. A bustier hilt-dress over a black lace shirt, that is something only McQueen can do.

As the show finished, the last model pulled a rope up underneath the fallen leaves and her way back to the hut in the middle of the scene. Love the concept, the clothes and everything about this collection.

BCBG Fall 2012

I have never heard about this brand before, but I am very surprised by this beautiful collection. It is a sway of a simple young brand pouring down the runway in New York. The silhouettes are very interesting and you can see that they paid attention to the details.

The colors you see the most are black, yellow, white, coral and different shades of tan.

Hello everybody, the week went by quickly. But I love my work at my intership. I have sweet colleagues and the atmosphere is very positive. So I don't mind going to work every day. This week I was in a 'spring mood'. For some reason I suddenly hate my boots and want to wear flats again. So I did and I also got some bright nail polish colors from my mother, I put that on my nails. Let spring begin!!

Marc By Marc Jacobs Fall 2012

I am sorry for the overload of Marc Jacobs on my blog lately. But when I saw his latest Marc by Marc Jacobs line that he showed in New York I realized that I had to share it with you. Because it is beautiful.

Yesterday you saw the big hats on my blog that were showed at the Marc Jacobs fall 2012 collection. In this collection it continues. But this collection is more wearable and it definitely had the signature of Marc. Grunge is the best word to describe this collection, also the military looks passed by.

The colors that you see in this collection are black, brown, grijs, gold, marine blue and red. I love the accessory that they used, you see nerd glasses, leather clutches and handbags, socks in bikerboots, waist belt and military hats.

I love the grey sweater with the black letters on it, but also the last dress is one of my favorite.

Marc Jacobs Fall 2012

A spectacle of a show, that is who I can describe the show from Marc Jacobs. His decor was winter white and there were stairs where the models came down.

When I saw the video of the show I was not only impressed about the show but also about the clothes. The focus was on the hat, it was huge. Besides this is was made from the most hysterical colors and prints. Skirts over trousers, sweater over dresses. A large layer party, that is who you can describe this collection the best.

Now I want to tell you something about the colors, accessory and hair/make-up. The colors that are used the most in this collection are black, white, grey, red, mustard and different shades of purple, green and pink. The accesorry is the big hat. It is made by Steven Jones and it is made from big scraves and, unfortunatelly, fur. Further you see grey wool Socks, furry bags and cluthes. Because of the hats, you can not really see the hairdo, but the models are wearing eyeliner.

Great show, amazing collection, lovely designer.

One of my favorite magazines is Marie Claire. I really love how pure this magazine is. Their motto is Think smart, look amazing!. A great motto if you ask me. When I bought their March issue and saw the shoot with Sophie Vlaming I fall in love. The outfits are ready to wear and really my style. I wouldn't mind getting my hands on these outfits.

Sophie shows a wardrobe of elegant ensembles with some color items in the form of prints and patterns.

When the sun is shining I wear my sunglasses immediately. My sunglasses from Ray-Ban are very pretty, but for some reason I am always searching for another perfect sunglass.

I want to share the beautiful sunglass and frame brand Erik & Emilia. Their philosophy is to make affordable glasses in a super high quality. I think that it gives people the opportunity to buy several glasses and wear it at different occasions.

The glasses are made in the same factories as the well known high end brands, but the prices are much lower. Do you love this collection as much as I do? It will be available in the shops in May.

Pretty pretty please give me a sunglass of them. Oh and don't you love the photos as much as I do?

New Spring Lines From Barbara De Ru

A few months ago I told you about the brand Barbara de Ru. She is the first dutch designer who designed fashionable clothes to wear during your yoga session. I am a little bit addicted to yoga. I love doing it and it gives me some peace inside. And I love fashion too. So Barbara de Ru designed clothes that I can recognize myself with.

The spring summer collection 2012 is aimed at the woman of today. Her yoga and prêt-à-porter complement each other and are inspired by different moments in your life. A chic dress for a party but also a yoga short for your yoga lesson.

The prêt-à-porter line shows an attractive combination of chic and comfort with different materials. The colors that you see are white, grey and khaki.

The yogaline is more about pieces that are various. You can mix and match them with each other. The materials are very soft and in this line they paid extra attention to comfort.

For some reason my week was not very excited. I went to work 6 days (still have to get used to my new working life) this week. Besides this on Monday I went to a good friend of mine. We chat and had fun together, love hanging out in good company. There was one thing that I really enjoyed, on Sunday I went shopping with my mother. And I bought my first item for my own house. So excited, I hope that I can move out in September. I can't wait to have my own place :) And I enjoyed a quiet walk in the forest with my dad.

Discovering new brands is my favorite activity. This week I found the jewelry label SMJD. This label is from designer Sarah Mesritz. Sarah graduated in 2008 at the art academy in Maastricht, the Netherlands. Sarah make nowadays jewelry with traditional techniques. This results in some crochet bracelets and necklaces, I have to admit that they are so pretty.

These bracelets really make a statement and they make a simple about very special. They give it an extra touch, I am in love with them all. You can buy them at Happy Market.

We were at the end of the Modefabriek when I saw these amazing bracelets. Seriously I identical fall in love. When I pick my outfits I am always searching for items that can make a statement. I can tell you, these bracelets and necklaces definitely can!

I want you to meet Royal Blush. Royal Blush is a accessory brand inspired on the Swiss Alps. The jewelry are like climbing equipment. Royal Blush used from a special way of vegetable tanning leather without harsh chemicals making it a special appearance. Besides the leather Royal Blush also used salmon skin that is made from biologic salmon from Ireland.

When you wear the jewelry regurlarly and exposure to sun and rain the leather become better.

A week goes by so fast if you have a lot of fun and have nice days. This week was my first at my graduation and I love it. I have nice colleagues, love the atmosphere and the work that I am doing. Can't wait for the coming weeks.

I have to admit that I really have to get used to a six-day workweek, but I think it takes time. The photos below are not really excited, but I hope you like it.

Like some of you know it snows in the Netherlands. Love the snow, it has a magic effect. So on Friday when my workday ended I took my camera and shot some photos.

When I saw this editorial I really loved the outfits and therefore I will share it with you.

The March edition of InStyle UK features the top ten looks for spring with Damon Baker’s colorful studio images. Model Eszter Boldov wears a wardrobe of must have pieces from the likes of Isabel Marant, Stella McCartney, Mulberry and Burberry. Lovely outfits, can't wait for spring to begin!

During the Paris Fashion Week Dutch designer Jan Taminiau showed his new collection. The collection was designed to elevate women. For this purpose Jan Taminiau deployed an army of beauty. I think that the collection is colorful, feminine and extravagant with fragile forms.

The collection called Tarnished Beauty. In the mind of Jan Taminiau real beauty comes alive when people open themselves to each other. The army descends and the masks go off.

Winde Rienstra

The first time that I got to know Winde Rienstra was during the Green Fashion Competition last year. She ended up as one of the three finalists.

During the Amsterdam Fashion Week she showed her new outstanding collection. The collection is based on a painting from Dutch painter J.C. van Schagen. I think it really was a perfect combination between soft and strong. Soft silk is combinated with rigit timber. In this collection you see that fashion and art comes together. That is one of the reasons why I like fashion so much.

Ever since I have seen the winter 2011 collection of Marloes Blaas during last years AIFW I love her collections. Unfortunately I wasn't able to enter this years show. But I want to share my opinion about this collection.

Just like always the collection is very female with a bit rough. The inspiration for this collection is the transformation of the Netherlands during the fifties. Women who work!! You see wool sweaters, straightforward dresses with leather details, long jackets and sturdy boots with wool socks along

The detail that I really loved were the silver spoons and saucers necklaces. Maybe it sounds a bit weird, but I love it. It really gives an funny and extra touch to your outfit. Just like last year I would love to add everything to my wardrobe. I love Marloes her style and outfits.

New Love: Zinga

During the Modefabriek I was walking around hoping for a nice brand new to discover. I saw the clothes of the brand Zinga and I fall in love. The fabrics are amazing just as the shape of the clothes.

The comfort of the clothes is so good that it feels like a second skin. The lightweight fabrics allows you to layer without giving it a huge effect. The clothes hold their shape. Different materials are mixed: cashmere with leather for example.

When I saw the new collection for the winter I just fall in love. I am in love with their cardigans and leggings. Hopefully I can add some of the pieces to my wardrobe. Below you see a preview of the winter 2012-2013 collection, but also some items for their summer collection. I will keep you updated about this lovely brand.
