The second Madwalk by Vodafone was shinny and glamorous as it should be! An innovative concept started last year by MAD that brings fashion designers and artists together to create an one of a kind experience. What I really fell for this year was Angelos Bratis collection that also had won the award for the best prêt-à-porter collection at Who's on next competition. Kudos to Bratis then! First beauty post ever and I am gonna talk youi about a thing that I had. Thing is I never used mascara.It's not that I hadn't tried any on the contrary. I just had decided not to use this sticky, heavy thing on my eyes. Never say never. I had the chance to use this one by Clinique for the first time and it was the perfect experience. Not sticky, not heavy just the long lashes and the bigger eyes. So try it!

Athens Exclusive Designers Week SS2012

This year unfortunately I failed to attend every single show at Athens Exclusive designers Week as I did last year and as a result I have only one fashion week outfit to show you that I didn't even shoot for myself. Thank God of Patricia Munster that always snaps our outfits at such events. Thank you to the sweet guys over at Buldoza , that was a supporter of AXDW and the new designers competition, for the second photo with Stephanie. The third photo is from Sephora's photobooth!

Anyways. Thing is that when you've been there then you're never back! I just couldn't not be the there. At least for a show or two.Stay tuned Erotokritos is on the way!

Stelios Koudounaris Entropia SS2012 @ AXDW

Have told you too many times before how much I admire Stelios Koudounaris and his work! For me he is like Alexander Wang but in a more feminine way and with more complex designs and high quality garments. I have been following his shows since my first AXDW and I can tell you he is so true to his successful style and unique designs. If I was asked to recognize his collection I would and that's one thing that matters so much in fashion nowadays.
What I loved about this collection was the signature harness worn in the back, on the chest or as necklace. Loved it really!
This time Stelios presented a men's line as well. Easy going, freestyle and respecting the body. Nothing extravagant or unwearable. Just perfect design and patron.
One more time Congrats Mr Koudounaris!

Sofroniou Conquistador SS12 @AXDW

So AXDW has officially started and once more it happened to be there... nah! I wanted so badly to be there! First show I didn't watch was Tassos Sofroniou new men line named Conquistador also seen at The Room Service by Ozon Magazine. I mean this didn't watch statement cause I ended up extremely late at the venue so I managed to watch the whole thing from the wide screens at the entrance! Having met Tassos Sofroniou up close I can tell you he is such a sweetheart and lovely! Tassos Sofroniou knows how to style and he proves it every single time on the catwalk, on the editorials he styles and every time he talks about fashion.What I managed to see this time was a combination of good styling and great taste. And I loved the accessories and the male models as well... Starbags Charity Fashion Show

A few days ago I was invited by Oliana owner of Starbags at their very first fashion show at Technopolis for charity reasons along with Laleh Fayaz. Seems that nothing stops them cause they had another participation after that and have arranged a third one this week! As for me, I was live tweeting all the time and shot photos and chatting and drinking and all that fashion week stuff that I love! Truth is I had so much time to be front row at a fashion show or attend anything fashion related that I realized how much I miss this whole glitter thing and thought that now it's about time for some action. So I'll be at AXDW and hope to make it for the AFW as well! So stay tuned for that and some other news coming that I am keeping secret for now! Sssssss!

Summer Jazz

Hello guys! Missed me? Missed you and this blog a lot! I am on vacation as you can tell and the only thing I care about is which beach is better or what cocktail should I order. Spent my vacation doing road trips, eating (summer version of me), swimming, listening to jazz and just staying still and mute for a while...
This year was a year full of bitter sweet changes and the year to come is going to be even more tricky... But, there are still some days of summer and I am trying to seize them...

So last week I was asked by WIND to be a judge along with @Apas and @nmpardakis on a contest about three Q reporters that would be our correspondent of the Schoolwave Festival. If you've been following me or Twingo Miss Sixty on twitter then you should have known how much fun we are having these past few days the two of us. Actually four, if you count Christophe and our driver. It has the perfect pink gold color and they are getting along so well with Christophe. Twingo Miss Sixty Project

Some time ago, I had told you about a fun project I was going to be part of! Well, time has come to reveal it!

As you may know Renault has come up with a special super girlie edition of the Twingo in collaboration with Miss Sixty, Twingo Miss Sixty.

If you are reading this blog regularly you know how much I adore Miss Sixty!

So when they told me to participate in a project that was about it, I couldn't say no!

First part of the project was shopping of course! Me, Thalia, Pinelopi and Stella were invited to the Miss Sixty store at the Mall to pick whatever we liked from the Spring Summer collection.

Next part is even more exciting... I am not saying more...

Hey guys! That striped skirt I am wearing here is a purchase from last year which I haven't worn enough and thought to give it a second chance. Truth is that I finally don't like it. You see stripes are really tricky to style unless you are thin enough and this particular skirt is draped on the waist which makes things more difficult! So bye bye striped skirt!

I have to see you again and again

First things first! Have a nice month everyone full of sun , optimism and nice thoughts! I am always thinking about the thing I was telling you back then about the secret and that stuff and I am starting to truly believe that this whole theory is actually working and I have started playing with it to see how it goes.
On other news yesterday I had a fun walk downtown with friends when some tourists asked for a nice place to have something to eat, so I told them about the most obvious I could think. Thing is, I regretted immediately when I thought well if I would be in a foreign country I wouldn't want to go where all tourists go. Never mind, at least the place has some good food... Also I had my crazy friend screaming like hysteric when I slipped and fell and all the people wondering why I am laughing and the other girl is screaming. Crazy stuff, I am telling you.

Oh don't ask why...

Hey guys! I know I haven't been a much of the definition of a committed blogger lately but since I don't like excuses I am not gonna give any! I promise though that I've been thinking all of you all the time! On other news I spent the Easter holidays with my family in my hometown and it was more like a good rest, recharging batteries and re exploring the local customs which seem they are endless! So guys be prepared because in May fashion algorithms will be part of a really really special and fun project! Just stay tuned!

PS: The thing with the bracelets continues. The neon one is handmade by me, the one with the piece signs is by H&M and a project named Knot war.
The more special one though is this little one with the shoe! It is courtesy of a very special lady and unique artist Maroula and is one of her unique handmade designs made with love, silver, gold and precious stones as it's written on the little note with the unique jewellery number that it came with! Thank you Maroula so much!

I am back! Back to regular posting after all this athens fashion week and athens exclusive designers week craziness. I know you've seen me wearing these flare pants like a lot lately but truth is I am kind of obsessed with them. After trying them on I fell in love and seeing the "tall effect" I want to try wearing a maxi skirt as well! This means hunting!
On other news.I finally got a job! A real one this time that is and I am really really happy about this one!

Delight FW11/12

Delight show was great! I liked everything about it! The colors, the mix of the fabrics and textures that created a very interesting result. Also I liked the way they used velvet, which is one of the fabrics I hate as I have told you. I loved the furs and the platforms combined with socks. A contemporary and up to date collection! Dimitri Zafiriou FW11/12

Dimitri Zafiriou is a talented designer that I always thought as an artist! With this collection "Le Dinner Surrealist" I saw everything that was meant to be seen... I saw the art deco and man ray influence and all the parisian 20s and the great styling by Thanos Kyriakides . But I think I saw some things that were meant to be secret... I don't know if that was on purpose or not but I felt like there was no crescendo... Like a complete but unfinished show. For me it was the most artistic show I've ever seen. Check his blog here.

Sotiris Georgiou FW11/12

Sotiris Georgiou showed for one more time what he can do with geometry and all this urban style that he has! It was the first time I witnessed such opinions from everyone about a designer! Everyone agreed that it was an awesome show. From fashion critics, journalists, bloggers,buyers, other designers etc everyone loved it! The line for men was absolutely great. I was really lucky to see such a great show! On the third pic you can see Despoina Isopoulou from you strike my fancy! Yay!

Today was the day I've been expecting since I heard the schedule of afw! All the contemporary new greek designers were scheduled for today so you can understand my anticipation. First to show was Evangelos Kavathas. He was awarded as best newcomer like a year or so ago and he returned to remind us why. His collection was called Selas and it was all about those vivid warm colors combined with each other, like this orange signature color along with the light blue. Feminine with an air of good taste after all those freaks we saw on the catwalk these days....

Empire showcased her collection again yesterday few days after axdw where she won the best designer award. We saw the same collection only a bit more pieces. It was more about fine fabrics and interesting combination of textures. Not anything loud or exceptional. Simple and chic. I liked the maxi dresses and especially white transparent one!
