Lately I've been intrigued by anything Korean, especially Korean clothing and Korean Reality show (Running man!) They are so cute and funny, never fails to make my weekend brighter!
I'm also in love with Korean fashion, bought myself quite a number of hair accessories with large bows and pastel colors.

When the owner of Cleo-cat Fashion contacted me for a review, I jump at the opportunity. After all, they are selling Korean fashion in great prices.

So i browsed through the online store and looked through the clothes, boy it was hard to decide on 1 item that i liked, because i liked so many of them! It was easy to navigate, i can narrow down my search by categories or price.

Here are some of the looks that I love!! And the price is nothing more than RM50! Mostly between RM20-30. So affordable. That's because Cleo-cat is wholesale fashion and thus selling at wholesale prices. Best of all, there is no minimum order!

So after spending a loooooooooonnnnngggggggg time browsing through the site, i finally made my choice and corresponding withe the shop owner was a breeze. Since Cleo-Cat Fashion is based in singapore, delivery was quite fast.

I received my parcel fast, am pleased with the quality of material of the top i chose, though it might be a little see through, but its expected as it is white color chiffon.

Time to re-visit the site and do some christmas shopping! or Maybe do some early CNY shopping too!! Happy holidays everyone!

Reviving Post(Hopefully)

Hi blog, wow you sure are dusty. haha....sorry for neglecting you for so long. Here is a reviving post (hopefully).

Anyway, recently i've found some great products. Since both my girls are asleep now, its the perfect time to blog. And since i did take pictures not long ago, here goes nothing. (Here is me procrastinating my REAL job)

First up: From My Beauty Diary. The Sweet Teatime Mini Set!
I bought this from MaskSlim, Tropicana City Mall. Priced very reasonably at RM29.90. It comes with 2 Masks, 1 Facial Scrub and 1 Facial Wash. Though its "mini", it is a pretty sensible size. They smell great. Mostly smell like dessert! So far ive tried the facial wash that comes in a mini tub. And the facial scrub that is in mousse form. Both smell nice and is great to use.
I don't know if it is just me but i think they mixed up the scrub and wash. Because the facial wash in the tub consist of grainy texture similar to scrubs where-as the mousse is just foam. Anyhow, just use them alternately and you'd be fine. :)

Second up, I found this lovely looking lipbalm from The Face Shop. Actually they have 2 types. 1 Strawberry and another is chocolate(i think). And it is so cute! Can u see the girl kissing? Ya, the other one is a boy kissing back. Should have bought the other one as well. This strawberry flavoured is lightly tinting so it gives a little pink hue when glide on. Love it!

1 Year hiatus

Wow, i cant believe ive neglected this blog for 1 whole year!!
Anyway, it had been a roller coaster ride for me for the past one year, i can't even begin to tell how much i went through. It was torturous emotionally and physically draining too. Well, i finally found myself recovering after a year....I've finally come out of my depression. I sure hope to be able to update this blog more often from now. I recently bought myself some great stuffs(beauty products) and am feeling good about myself too.
And most importantly manage to shed off my pregnancy weight! all 18kgs of them! yay!! And now some more to shed because I wasn't exactly thin to begin with...haha. Hopefully will be able to loose another 10kg to reach my goal for the year! Ganbatte fash!!

Welcome Baby!

So i delivered my 2nd baby! :)

She's another princess! She is strong and healthy praise God! and she has a really high nose ridge, it was the first thing i saw when i see her.

Other than that, she has been such a darling......eat-sleep-poo.....hardly cries for no reason. Such a peaceful girl she is. Baby will be turning 3 months old soon and have been putting on some healthy weight.

As for mommy, I have put on around 18kg for this pregnancy. After delivery, only deduct 6kg! haha.....Now i need to shed off 12 extra kgs!! Not to mention, i wasn't exactly "slim" when i got pregnant lo.....Well....got to work harder to shed the pounds!

Hi there!! Today i have 2 new great lip product to share.
About 2 weeks ago, this nice lady from www.makeovernow.com.my approached me if id like to try out 2 lip products they carry. I accepted the offer because i'm a total sucker for lip products, it is no doubt my most favorite item amongst all beauty products.

First up is a lip balm called Crazy Rumors in the flavor of Orange Creamsicle.

I loveee this one as the lip balm is nothing like what i have used before. The texture is creamy and moist. The scent is fragrant....this one smells a little like orange cheesecake.A Creamy orange. It felt great and fresh when applied and is able to last quite a while. I truely fell in love with this as after using it for couple of days, my cracked lips healed and does not peel off that easily anymore.
I must say that i'm impressed and will definately recommend this to others.
The best part of this Crazy Rumors lip balm is that it is made from natural ingredients as well as cruelty free and vegan.

Next up is called Hurraw!

This is an .15oz tinted lip balm and the flavor i got to try is Black cherry. I love tinted lip balm as it gives color to the lips without being overdone. I will normally just use a tinted balm instead of full colored lipstick as it gives me a much more natural look. What strikes me most about Hurraw is its packaging. Unlike most lip balms, the shape of the tube is oval. Its kinda flat and broad thus is makes a great little gadget to keep in ones purse.
Black Cherry is quite a dark color. However, when glide on my lips, it gives me a light maroon.d The color is very nice and in fact, i thought its just the right color for me. However, I don't quite like the scent of cherry. It does not smell a nice as the orange creamsicle from Crazy Rumors. Perhaps that's just my personal preference. I guess i'm more of a strawberry person than cherry. However, this lip tint totally come up top on my most favorite liptint till date. I've been using this religiously for the past 2 weeks or so and i still love it.
Hurraw balms are also made of natural ingredients, organic and vegan too.

Do give these two product a try as I highly recommend them.

Bun In the Oven

Well, that explains the dwindling posts.

We just passed our halfway mark. So we're halfway there! Little Princess will be a big sister soon and we do hope she copes well.
On another note, i've started a new mummy blog. Will put up link to it somewhere around the sidebar.

In the mean time, i do have a couple of stuffs that is review worthy....hopefully i'll find some time to get it done.

Garnier Skin Naturals (Face powder)

I have oily skin thus i usually need to dab on some face powder to mattify my skin. My recent favorite must be this face powder by Garnier Light. It is a whitening face powder. The one i got is in shade 02-Natural. The color is very natural and suits me very well. It is very cheap too. More or less about RM15 i think. It is flat and light to carry around. Much better than the other cheaper option such as the one from Johnson&Johnsons. I do have another favourite, which is the one from silky girl. That is even cheaper and much smaller and great to bring along everywhere.

Plus Size Swimwear

3 years ago I got pregnant with my first child. And since then, I stopped swimming for a good 2 years. Firstly, being that my weight ballooned and that i was not able to fit into any of my swimwear anymore. I used to swim often before, which was how i kept my figure(past tense).

After the birth of my girl, I still couldn't fit into my 2 piece swimwear. Even if i could, i couldn't wear them anymore as i had aweful stretchmarks on my tummy and i couldn't bare my tummy anymore. I also had a c-section, which means that the scar is on my bikini line. Thus it is impossible to wear anything tight below the waistline. I can only wear a 1 piece if ever. I bought something in XL size from jaya jusco but it was still so tight i had to practically wiggle myself and struggle into it the first time i went swimming after 2 years. It was extremely uncomfortable.

It is not easy to find any plus size swimwear here in Malaysia. Luckily enough we can still get them online and they look great too. Pricing to me is quite reasonable because swimwear normally can be quite costly.

Plus size womens swimwear is available at www.kiyonna.com. They not only sell swimwear but fashionable plus size womens clothings too.

Swimwear is a depressing subject for a plus size person. We often try our very best to evade from this subject. He he...especially during post natal. Sometimes it adds to our frustration. However, if the subject of plus size bathing suits do arises, we look out for those that can hide our imperfections.

As i mentioned, i bought a crayon eyeshadow in White. I love the color white as you can make your eyes look bigger when applied the right way. :)

I love that it is small and compact. Very travel friendly. Also it doesn't need sharpening is a plus point to me!

Love this shadow though i haven't had much chance to use it. Will try to use it more often..... tomorrow maybe. :)

Well, I hardly have time for TV because everytime I turn the TV on, my daugther will command me to turn on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or Dora The explorer!!! And she can watch them repeatedly for N amount of times!

But the only show that i do try my best to catch up with is this one!!
This group of One Million Star 7 is awesome!!! And Malaysians are freaking incredible too!! especially Jia wei and He Bing! Love them! Make us proud darlings!!

TheFACEShop Touch & Shine Dual Eye Color

I must admit, this is my first ever purchase from TheFACEShop! Usually I never step into the shop for it felt like its an expensive shop! But boy am I wrong! The price isn't expensive at all! The price range is actually pretty reasonable.

I bought this dual eye color which is a combination of eyeliner and eyeshadow. I took quite awhile to choose the color i wanted because all of them looked pretty! Initially i wanted to get the one with black liner, but the combi colored shadow is either white or silver, in which i had just purchased a white crayon shadow. Soooooo........I ended up with a Purple liner and Pink shadow combi. I had forgotten that I just bought a purple liner! haha....blur me.
Anyhoo....no regrets. The color is BEAUTIFUL! Im definately going to get me another 1 or 2 of this. I liked the gold and bronze combi as well as the black and silver one too.

Cyber Colors Auto Glitter Eyeliner Pen

After 2 years I finally started using eye makeup again!
Ever since i got pregnant, I started using lesser and lesser make-up because I didn't like the idea of having chemicals around my baby. So I only do what's necessary to cover up my imperfections like using bbcream and some concealer and a lipgloss/balm. Thats it. I totally neglected my entire make-up collection especially my poor mascara have all gone dry! hehe.

So now that she's a toddler, I have more time for myself and I can certainly find an extra 5 minutes to do up my face. Starting this year, I have decided to add eye-makeup into my routine again and thus been buying a couple to start-off.

First up, this is something that I like. Its from Cyber colors. As the name states "Cyber Colors Auto Glitter Eyeliner Pen". It is an eyeliner. And its an auto retractable pen so i do not need to sharpen it. The packaging looks neat. I love the metallic look of the pen. It is steady to hold and glides on easily. Actually i use it as an eyeshadow instead of a liner. I prefer my liner to be black and darker. Bought them at sasa. More details below.

She's TWO!!

So little princess had turned 2 this month. My mama genes can't be any prouder! She's developing well as a toddler....pretty smart.....usually obedient but with occasional tantrum throwing. Overall, she's a decent little kid. And a cheeky one too! She's such a joy to have.

So now that she is older, and much easier to manage. I too have found time for myself again. Just this week i bought myself 3 beauty items that I have not been using for a long time = Eye makeup! yippiee! Time to revive this space with some beauty reviews again.

Can't believe it is 2011 already!
I started my blog in 2005, i guess its been 6 years! And now that i slack to 11 post per year....nobody visits me anymore. boohoo!
Blame it on a clingy toddler! arghh.....
Well, little cutie pie turns 2 in couple of days....I think i'm in denial mode because I can't be bothered to organize a proper party for her. (In fact i planned to do a poolside bbq part for her this year but the plan is scrapped due to some circumstance) Well, will still whip up some sort of a little celebration for her else when she grows up she will start to question me on this. hehe
:) Bought a cute little dora the explorer toy set the other day for RM99.90. So i guess since presents is out of the way, I need to book a cake tonight.

Happy New Year my dear friends. And now.....I need to make a new year resolution. :) Its still not too late yet.

Blessed Christmas everybody!

Christmas is nodoubtedly my most favourite holiday season of the year!

I loveeee Christmas, but somehow I've been too busy with work(last minute requirements) that I had to hurriedly do my christmas shopping and hurriedly distribute them....sigh....I wish i had more time to enjoy the moment!!!

Ah well......only 1 week left before the year ends. And 2 weeks to my little girls 2nd birthday!

And I haven't even planned out how to celebrate it for her!! Now I better go source for a good bakery that can do a decent Mickey Mouse cake!

Eucerine Anti acne Solution

31 Years and a baby......... I'm shy to say that I am STILL battling acne! Can you believe that?
I'm constantly battling acne ever since I was 18 and have perhaps tried every solution in the market. Thousands of ringgit later......I finally found something that I "THINK" is one of the best facial wash for acne prone skin like mine. Its the new acne range from Eucerine.

I haven't got the chance to take a picture, but it is basically the range in Green. I bought the cleanser called DermoPurifyer Cleanser. After using it for about a month now, i realized that I experienced lesser breakouts(even during PMS). Which is a marked improvement! I also realize my skin felt cleaner and smoother too. I'm really satisfied with my purchase. And its a over the counter product, which means "cheap" too! Though the price isn't exactly cheap as compared to other counter products, i still feel that it is value for money. I bought mine from Watsons, and i hope to drop by and get the other products available in this range such as the Toner and the moisturizer too.

Have you heard of this brand?
Well, as its name implies, this is a new range of cosmetics and skincare solutions by none other than our own Datuk Siti Nurhaliza.

I first spotted them at Watsons couple of months ago and decided to give the lipstick a go as I find the packaging quite appealing. The colors were pretty too!
Then i spotted something that sparked my interest, which is the Acne Solution. I have breakouts often and thus am always looking for the best way to treat/hide them. This Acne Solution by simplysiti works quite like a BBcream to me. It covers up unslightly pimples at the same time, it helps to improve your skin condition. After using it for couple of months now, I find that it works well on its own for sheer coverage, or it can go underneath your regular foundation for full coverage. I normally just use it on its own. The only cons about it is that i find the scent a little overpowering. Works great for those who like flowery fragrance.

As for the lipstick, i love love love it!! The range of colors are pretty and it glides on smoothly. I can't help to compare her cosmetics to that of Avon though, kinda similar in terms of quality.

Should I get a new Coach poppy?

OK. I just spotted a Coach bag that is PERFECT for a mommy bag!
It will cost me about RM800, which is a bargain price considering it probably retails around RM1200 or so at Coach boutiques.

Should I get one?? Well, I already have 2 coach bags. In fact, I had wanted to get a Juicy duffel at around the same price. ah!! but but but.....I can buy 16 tins of Milk powder for my baby with that amount.

Aiyo......hope I will make my decision before the bag is sold! (haha...i think im gearing towards buying already)

1 1/2 Years

Yup! Thats how long it took for me to loose all my pregnancy weight!! 1.5 years!!! *groans*
Finally I can see another "better" looking number on my scale. Especially the front digit. haha....sigh...
Though technically, I'm still 10kg away from my goal. But....at least im getting somewhere...been stagnant for a long while and the final 1kg just refused to budge!!! Not until last week when i fell ill....

Anyway, hope to drop another 3kgs by end of the year! I had put on weight even before I got pregnant. So i need to shed those away too. teehee.....

On another note, My little baby have grown so much she is nolonger a baby!! She is a little girl! a toddler! a mini ME?!!!! She's such a joy to have. :)

Hope that I'd be able to update more now that she is much bigger and easier to handle.

Hada Labo

Recently many beauty blogs have been reviewing hadalabo, though im not one of the lucky ones to get to try them for FREE ever since i've neglected my blog, hehe...however, i have long been intrigued by hada labo ever since guardian carried them.

Boasting to be the No.1 selling face lotion in Japan (1sold every 4 seconds) totally caught my attention because well, i trust the Japanese especially in beauty products and food. :) Hey, look at them! they are one of the longest living people on earth.

And so, i recently bought a box pax that consist of a foam wash, toner(they call it lotion), and moisturizer. Cost me about RM89.90. Later i also bought a night serum for dark spots for about RM59.90.

After using them for a week, i think it suits my skin as the lotion(toner) is one of the mildest that i have used so far. It does not sting when apply on the skin. No alcoholic feeling nor smell and it is very subtle on the skin. The moisturizer is great too as my skin feel very well hydrated after a nights sleep. The face wash is ok....nothing great in my opinion. Just like any other normal face wash.

As for the serum, i probably need a couple more weeks to see if it actually works on my dark spot so i'll give it a different review later.

The verdict. The toner is highly recommended and the moisturizer too! Great product.

Beauteen DIY hair dye

Sometime last year I spent RM600 on my hair which includes some curls and highlights.
Spent them at Peekaboo TheCurve. However, I wasn't very happy with that money spent because the waves doesn't last long.....my hair almost went straight in couple of months. Plus, the highlights wasn't visible either....You can only see them when I'm under the hot sun. I really wanted to color my hair then but was advised to only highlight them by the stylist.

So being unsatisfied with my hair color, I later bought 2 boxes of Beauteen DIY hair dye to do them at home. It took me quite sometime to finally do it as I was unsure of the outcome and the last time i dye my own hair was at least 10 years ago. It was a bold step but Chinese New Year was around the corner and I decided one day when my baby was over at moms that Its now or never!!!!

Surprisingly, The experience was very pleasant. Unlike how I remembered hair dye was in the past, Beauteen smelled pleasant! It doesn't emit smelly acidic ammonia smell......In fact, it smelled nice. The steps was easy, everything was provided inside the box such as gloves, bleach mix, bottle, nozzle comb, conditioner. Instructions was clear in english as well as Japanese(Beauteen is a Japanese brand by Hoyu).

In the end of the day, the color turned out great! Plus, it doesn't make my hair overly dry. Amazingly it made my hair feel soft. Although my hair does become dryer than usual after a couple of days. It is important to maintain by putting lots of conditioner especially at the tips.
I'm very pleased with the outcome and I would definately recommend it. I can't remember the exact price but i think it was around RM22 at Guardian pharmacy.

Make blog post private?

It would make things easier for me if i ever decide to reveal my blog. At the moment only a few people know of my identity for this blog. Otherwise, i'm just another cyber "character". Anyway, i couldn't decide if i should start a new baby blog. Some things i would love to keep private but some others i would like to share. Well....hope blogspot come up with the feature soon. It definately will be useful!

Busybody on Facebook

I've just finished being nosy on facebook and thought why not i do a little update on this severely neglected blog. hehe...

Do you think facebook is getting really boring? I really think facebook is boring. The only thing i like to see on facebook are pictures!! Other than that, i think facebook games are pretty lame and i hate it when those game applications fill up my newsfeeds.

Anyway, talking about being a busybody. I had just looked up some pictures of some old admirers and you know what....i can't help but to compare myself with their wives....and my baby with theirs.
And IF i look better than their wives, i feel damn shiok! haha....but if their wives are drop dead gorgeous, i wish i never bump into them ever!! haha...not untill i loose another 10KG. :)

Other than "keh pohing" around, facebook is pretty good to get in touch with old friends.

On another note, my little girl turned 1 last week!!! Can't believe how fast time flies......
