Hot Gucci Mama??

Wow....such a long hiatus.....sorrylah......i don't even have time for a haircut lah what more blogging?? (but i do have time to do online shopping....hehe...)

Anyway, I'm currently looking for "THE bag". I know i know....i just bought the expensive JP diaper bag right? Well, though i love it and hubby loves it too....well.....its a little impractical for me cos i find it rather heavy on its own, what more filled with baby stuffs.

Sooo....the hunt is on.
And today, i chance upon an online store that sells this

Can someone just slap me and tell me i shouldn't be spending so much money on a handbag when I should be saving up for my baby girls diapers, milk powder, education...etc.!?!?

Well, I haven't make that purchase yet....but but but.....it looks rather practical as a mummy bag doesn't it?!?

So one thing about being a mother is that, you have to say bye bye to all your lovely handbags because there is noway you can fit them diapers and water bottles and milk powder...etc into them!

So during my confinement period, I did some online shopping for a chic diaper bag that will make me look like a really fashionable mom! teehee....

So i found THE BAG that i totally coveted from diaperbags.com
It is non other tha the JP Lizzy Mocha Mint diaper bag.

I read reviews and many raved about how much they love it. It also comes with a matching changing mat, pouch and a wristlet!!!(*cue angels sing*)Sadly diaperbags.com does not ship to Malaysia!! And i can't find any online stores that does for that matter! sigh...... Though the bag comes with a heftly price tag (Approx 100USD *ouch*), I was determined to get it!

And then finally finnally , i found it at one of the Malaysian online baby site!! http://www.thelilcaliph.com
Words couldn't describe the joy!! So i ordered and paid in full!! thats RM429 that i was ever so willingly part with. *wipes sweat*

I got my bag in a couple of days....initially the owner called me the next day and told me it was out of stock and i was DEVASTATED!!!!!! but she checked again and called me back...she found 1 LAST PIECE! happy happy!

Indeed the bag is worth the money cos it is of a very very good quality! Though it is not quite as roomy as i imagine it to be. I love it to bits!

So if you want to get one, this is the time to buy because The Lil Caliph is having sales and these beautiful bags are going for RM 386.10!! arghh...so much cheaper than what i paid for loh!

Price of property in Malaysia still going up dispite the financial crisis

Sometime ago in year 2007, I made a property purchase somewhere in the heart of PJ for a condo.
It was my very first purchase on my own. (of course my hubby help me with the downpayment la)
I considered myself lucky to be able to purchase a property of my own....and pretty proud to own one before the age of 30.

That said property is still yet to complete and the date of completion have been delayed. I can't help but to think that i'm taking a huge risk especially in this financial crisis where such projects can well be abandoned anytime (touchwood).

However to my surprise, these little units are being sold like hotcakes and currently have gone through Nth time price adjustment. And to my surprise, the price for my unit have already gone up close to 100k!!!!

oh dear, if you ask me to pay for the current price for such a small little unit.....i wouldn't have even considered one bit.

Looking at the prices of properties in Malaysia, i doubt we would be able to afford another house.....how i wish i could afford a bigger home as the family grows.

With the current economy situation in the slump, many people are being hit as their debts grow and grow....in fact i have encountered a couple of situations in which i get to witness firsthand how bad it already is.

Friend 1: Was out of job while the malaysian operation ceases.

Friend 2: Had to puasa even after hari raya....i thought he was just "ganti puasa" but actually he was just tightening his belt as he told me he overspent for hari raya....how sad.

Friend 3 : Borrowed money from me twice within the same month for reasons unknown.

Seriously i think these people need to learn to manage their finances. I wonder if bill consolidation would help them? I heard that they can provide free credit report and you can even do loan modification.

Now whatdoya know....its MARCH now!!! mymy.......and i just have a feeling in a blink of an eye it'll be Christmas already.

I know I haven't been blogging much......very little fashion/beauty adventure for me these days. But yesterday i manage to buy a Nivea lipgloss in strawberry. Boy I love it!! Sheer color, moisturing effect, UV protection...smells sweet. The perfect lipgloss for a mom with baby. :)

Anyway, I'm contemplating to start a new blog........a MUMMY blog! haha...wonder if it would be a good idea since i'm already so busy to manage my new life.
Truth is, 'ive been blogging too....but at a private/personal blog for my little princess.....
You might say...har? another mummy blog ah? so many around....well, truth is...during my pregnancy or through my journey as a new mom, i do have lots of questions and i have to google for answers....can't find much information on mummy blogs except some because most of the blogs only talk about the kid's daily life and how cute they were....well, I was searching for answers. So since i do have "some" answers now. I think it'll do good to mom's to be if i share them. Save them from some agony I've gone through.

I dunno.....its an idea. But i can't help to think if i should start it anonymously or with true characters. Can't decide........ because i'm really a very private person, i like my privacy.

Yay! for loosing 13kgs out of 18kgs gained during pregnancy in just 2 months (ok...that includes the weight of the baby n the water n placenta all that la....but still!!!)
Thats quite an achievement seeing that i wasn't even trying to loose weight..... Jaga baby alotta work itellyou!!!

Nay for being shoe-less. Yup....i've been wearing only 1(ONE) pair of shoes since i got pregnant until today.....Can't believe i could do that. I think my foot expanded and all my dozens of shoes in the shoe cabinet can't seem to fit me anymore. Bummer. I need new shoes. First time in my life this is more of a "need" versus "want" thing.....I wonder what kinda shoes is comfortable yet stylish....scholls? clarks?

Don't give two hoots about Valentines Day

Well, seriously if i haven't been blog hopping, i wouldn't know that tomorrow is valentines day.
I remember how when I was a teen, i used to feel uneasy during Valentines day because I was single. And it seemed, at that time...how sad case i was without anyone to celebrate Vday with.
Fast forward to the future.....when I'm already attached....I never did celebrate Vday! Ya....we just never believed in celebrating this overly hyped occasion when all things double+triple the price.
And now that I'm married with a newborn......I'm too busy with the latest love of my life, my little princess that i don't give two hoots about Valentines day at all.......Call me a scrooge but bah hum bug...

Angel Baby Bottom Balm- for the mama too!

I heard of Earthmamaangelbaby products during my pregnancy but i never bought any items because i thought it was ridiculously pricey.

However, while my little princess developed some rashes on her face recently.....i searched the internet through and through for a solution. Then i read thepinkstilettos....and i went oooh...a miracle balm! i must get that...
So i went to fabulousmom.com and bought a tiny jar of the angel baby bottom balm online.

Cost me RM 29.90 for a tiny little 1oz jar....

However, when i received my parcel. I do not dare to apply them on my little one. heehee.....i don't know....i just don't! But i did try to dab a teeny weeny bit on a teeny weeny spot. Hmm...i think it worked.
Anyhoo......the purpose of the entry is that i've discovered that this baby balm works great on adult skin too!!! i tried them on my itchy rashes and i see marked improvement. I also tried it on the pimples on my face and my pimple practically cleared up the next day!! Wow indeed! I love it!

I began to love earthmama products that I recently ordered another product for postpartum recovery for myself. Its the C-Mama healing Salve.
And this one cost me about RM149.90! Hope its a miracle cream!! Can't wait to get my hands on it. Stretchmarks be gone!

Wow, can't believe im blogging with one hand, and another craddling my bb. :)

I just read karencheng.com.au and realized that she was also blogging about depression. But hers is happening during her pregnancy, which i did not suffer from. I was totally beaming with pregnancy glow even while piling up the pounds.

However the little bouts of depression came after delivery. Because...
i still look fat and ugly though i was no-longer pregnant.
I only lost half of the kgs i gained.
I had ugly stretchmaks all over the body.
My tummy was as big as a 5 months pregnant lady....
My hair was a mess...
I smell terrible....
i wet myself...(breast leaking)....
i smell like milk....
i don't use make-up....
i hardly have time to shave....
i still can't fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes......!!!!!etc.etc.etc....
Sooooo many things to make a women depressed can??

Post Natal Depression can happen if you don't think of happy thoughts

I used to think about how anyone would actually be depressed after delivering a baby. To me, it does not make sense. Having a baby is a happy thing and shouldn't one be at cloud 9 upon the arrival of the much anticipated guest?

Well, today i live to experience it myself. Yup....its so true. Post natal depression CAN HAPPEN.
Though i wouldn't say I'm experiencing it. Thanks to mom and my supportive hubby. Otherwise, i'd probably suffer from a melt down.

I just want to say that, becoming a new mama comes with such great responsibilities and hard work that one can be emotionally so overwhelmed. I find that it is so important to keep your sanity at bay and always think happy thoughts and not to yeild to emotions and depressions.

I thank God for my lovely mom who is here to assist me all the way....allowing me to recouperate from labour/operation. Most importantly giving me time to sleep.
I also am greatful for the Internet. hehe....as beserk as it may sound, i'm greatful for facebook, blogs...and most importantly online shops!! I would have gone cold turkey from not being able to go shopping or get out of the house. But online shopping kept my sanity. I get to window shop and indulge a little too.

Everytime i think about the birthing process, i have the lump in my throat and i feel so emotional about it. phew....i guess only a mother will understand this feeling of mine.
I am greatful my hubby was with me all the time, it helps him understand what i've gone through and so he is being very nice and supportive of me. At least he was with me the whole time the entire day. Although i wasn't happy that the next day he had an early appointment that is so important he wasnt able to excuse himself. He only came about afternoon. Sigh...but i try my best to be the understanding wife too.

Anyway, just want to encourage new moms to think happy thoughts and stop dwelling on emotional issues. It helps alot. Also....online shopping is great therapy. :)

Happy Chinese New Year 2009

OK...i know its already the 3rd day of CNY.....but still...Happy CNY to everyone!

So after the long absence.....yes I delivered my BBgirl already...
She is soooo cute and I'm really taking care of her full time. This blog is sort of abandoned at the moment until i find some way to keep it alive! hehe....Well, thats cos i'm a mama now....and i only use 3 items in my make-up stash if ever...1.Moisturizer 2.BBcream 3. lipgloss. oh and perhaps 4. face powder. Thats ALL! sigh....how your life changes when you become a mummy.

Well.......for one, I'm glad its all over! i'm starting a new life as a mummy! phew....never have i imagine labour pain can be so.......er......PAINFULL!!!!!! farrrrr beyond my expectations. But i thankful its over now and I have my beautiful little princess with me now. She is all that matters. I'm focusing on being a good mummy this year. :)

I'm really anticipating year 2009 to be a great year for me....dispite the financial crisis....I'm really looking forward to the year as it brings alot of new beginnings for me. I know not what that is coming my way but for one, i know i'm gonna be a mom in a number of days. Thats a whole new life for me!! oh....and i'd be turning the big 3-0 this year too!! That's gotta be a milestone ya?!

So before i end this post....i'd like to do a quick review on a product that i accidentally discovered and are loving to bits!

Elianto Pearl Moisturizing Emulsion

I stumbled upon this while checking out the Elianto counter as they were having some 50% discounts where i bought 2 gorgeous lipglosses.

I wanted to get a face moisturizer to use as make-up base and was attracted by this Pearl base emulsion. I love pearl based skincare as it makes me feel quite pampered.

And this bottle is a 200ml bottle which can last me quite a long time. The price?? only RM16!!! haha.....and i got 10% off too. How pocket friendly is that!

So far after using for couple of weeks, i'm loving it. I love the texture which is not too creamy nor too dilluted. No overwhelming smell either.

The only thing that bothers me about it is the bottle is abit hard and it takes quite an effort to squeeze.

Well, I never thought i would say this. But i totally dread and hate shopping now!! gasp!!
hehe.....thats because when you enter your 8th month of pregnancy, you start to waddle when you walk.... Walking for 10 minutes can be so tiring......short of breathe, sore back, tired feet, thirsty.....u name it....NOT FUN!

haha......so thank God for online butiques. They are the gem of the era!

So i finally succumb to my eye-feast and ordered some stuffs and i am totally happy and satisfied with my purchases because they are stuffs that i've been coveting.

1st off, i ordered my very first Oxford sandals from princessboutique!!
Its black and white. And oh so gorgeous. I bought the last piece in my size! im so proud of myself. hehe. RM59+RM6 pos laju. I think its well worth it.

eeee.....so beautiful right???? BCBG inspired.

Secondly, im pretty proud of myself that i manage to score this from honeypumpkin.
If you are one of those that frequent online boutiques. Im sure you've heard of them. Boy i "hate" honeypumkin site!!! hehe.....their items are always sold out!! like.....totally snaped up nomatter what she post up! i often find myself drooling over the stuffs and sulk that it is sold-out or non-restockable. But baby luck must be on my side!!!! i manage to grab the last piece of gladiators in my size!!!!

Eyeshadow Pots

Wow.....have been lazy to blog ....hehe.....probably will only be blogging sporadically for the coming months as we anticipate the arrival of our new family member :)

So i occasionally stumble upon some stuffs worthy to buy like these.

I normally don't buy eye shadows because i hardly use them. Most of the time when i need to make-up, id use my trusty old Kate pallet which i absolutely adore.
However, this time is exceptional because these pots were selling at RM0.77 per pot!! eeeee....i've never seen anything so cheap before. And i love the light baby colors. So i bought 3 of them. Baby blue, baby pink and baby purple(is there such a color). The name is Trend Chic inc from Markwins. Yup the same brand i bought the 3 lipglosses from. BTW i loveeeee the lipgloss!! it is as good as the expensive ones. But for this shadow pots, i haven't test drive yet so i have no comments.:) i'm just happy to get them as such a low price. Wonder why its so cheap.....i bought them frm Watsons.

Final babymoon

Last week, we went for another babymoon! hehe....well, actually it was an unplanned business trip for hubby but i tag along. And manage to have a great getaway in Ipoh for 3days.
Was glad i went because i really enjoyed the trip. Relaxing......great food....great company...decent hotel(can't beat KL ones but good enough). sigh....i totally miss it!
I guess that would be my last trip anywhere this year! Until baby pops.
Can't imagine how my next holiday would be like.....baby bottles and diapers dominating my luggage i suppose....shrugs....

Missha The Style Mascara Base

I've finally had the opportunity to use this mascara base that i bought from Missha. haha....after such a long time!! Cos i haven't been putting alot of make-up lately. I initially intended to try it out when i went for a wedding dinner last month but believe me or not......i forgot!!
haha....silly me, i made-up my entire face.......including eyeshadow and all....but totally forgot to put on my mascara!! like duh...somemore i already put it on my dressing table. haha....so silly.

Anyway, i just came back from a wedding dinner. And i made sure that i tried on this mascara base today!

Soooo......how was it?
Frankly i really love it. There are lots of fiber. And once applied, i realized that it does not only elongate my lashes, it also create more volume to it. That i really love.
On top coat, i used my Maybelline Volume express. Hmm....doesn't seem lush enough....So i added another coat using my Anna sui. Ahh....much better. :) I love my anna sui mascara. But the only problem for me with my Anna sui is that i dont know how to apply it to make my lashes look more natural. It kinda gets thick and clump my lashes to look quite fake. hmm....need to practice more.

Overall, first time using this, i quite like it. And for that price (I bought it for around RM29.90) its really worth it.

Liposuction?

Currently at 7 months preggers....I've already gained 11kg. And i was not small to begin with. Man, do i feel like a giant whale! I wonder if i would be able to loose all that weight post pregnant! oh and not to mention my thunder thighs....they are full of cellulite!!!!

I wonder if liposuction will work? hehe......I've never ever considered cosmetic surgery. But then again, if I can find a good and qualified doctor like Dr Yazdanfar from Toronto. I would probably be in safe hands. She is one of the top physicians in Toronto. Dr Yazdanfar performs liposuction and breast augmentation at the Toronto Cosmetic Clinic.

I dont think i need to work on my breast.....But i do wonder how much would it cost to do a liposuction. Maybe with all the oils exstracted, I can make some money selling them off. haha!! Oh....talking about Fat people, i saw the news yesterday about the Fattest man on earth!!! He is soo heavy he needs to use a crane or something to get him out from the house and transported via a lorry!!! Wow.....and.....he just got married!! Really amazing, The women clearly loves him. Salute! Hopefully he will be successful in loosing all those weight. He lost quite some amount of weight already through some help from the professionals. Perhaps he should also look for Dr Yazdanfar for a liposuction.

Well, My stay over at the Impiana KLCC was enjoyable....just a tad too short. Should have booked 2 nights instead of just 1.
Rather dissappointed because we walked to KLCC and my sole purpose is to check out Paul & Joe cosmetics and shop around Isetan. But they closed at 7pm that day!! in prep for the sales on the next day. Bummer....

Didn't get anything interesting from KLCC except for 2 things that i bought from Sasa...and some junk food from cold storage.
But that one thing that i bought frm sasa was rather interesting. Which is this....

(the one in green) Its some lotion to lighten your underarms! I've been using it for the past few days.....will do somesort of a review soon. :)

Last weekend however, i was over at Ikano, and i scored somemore beauty loots. Especially from Missha counter. Missha BB cream!! Missha mascara base and creme eyeshadow.

Over at guardians, i bought the most raved about compact powder by ZA. I've read so many beauty bloggers agree that this is the best compact powder ever!! so i just have to try it out! only RM48.80 plus 1 additional refill. Very cheap!! And then i saw these beauty basics lipgloss going at only RM2.88 each!! OMG!! i MUST buy them.....so cheap!!

yumyum...am enjoying my lovely peach a.k.a Nectarine. My goodness, this 1 biji cost me RM4.99 ok! So expensive......i first bought 2 in Cold Storage Bangsar and it costs more than RM5 each there! but it was totally fresh and delish. Yummy......Recently i bought another 2 for RM4.99 from Sri Hartamas shopping centre. This wasn't as crunchy as the one i bought from bangsar, but still tasty. hai....for baby sake...anything expensive also willing to buy. :)

How about a babymoon?

Well, time is ticking...and once baby pops....i guess i wont have much of a "me" time to relax anymore. Taking that into consideration, im planning for a babymoon. Hey if the hubby doesn't plan it....i'll just kidnap him again like how i use to.
Some people marry romantic man that plans for surprise holidays for the wife (like my dad! mom...you are so lucky). But my man? erm....surprise?? what surprise?? he does not take initiative. He never does. If we ever go anywhere on a getaway....it is always me who does the planning.....and booking....and kidnap him for 2 days. haha...thats just the way we are. :)
If i want a getaway, i just plan it. Who says its a man's job anyway right......wife can spring a surprise trip for our husbands as well......and often times, it is very much appreciated.

So.....i just booked a hotel near KLCC for next week. Initially wanted to stay for 2 nights but i think hubby could be busy so it'll just be for a night. :) Looking forward to have a good relaxing stay in the hotel and have a good rest.....and not forgetting some shopping at KLCC! yah!

ANTM Cycle 11

Squeals!! eeeeee!! I just love ANTM(America's Next Top Model).
haha...i know some of you might roll your eyes....but i really can't help it. I love to watch all the model wannabes. ANTM is probably the one and only reality TV that i catch-up from Youtube.
I've probably watch all the cycles already, perhaps not every episode cos some cycles are really BORING. Like the previous cycle 10. I don't even remember most of them girls. And their pictures were lousy.

But but but. Cycle 11 is superb!!! Because most of them are GORGEOUS. And we have a trans gender....as well as an Asian! Go Sheena! And the pictures they take looks amazing. I totally have a hard time deciding who i think should go and who should stay. Accept for Hannah....she is so irritating and whiny!!! arghh.......she should have gone earlier.

Isis, even as a transgender.....is beautiful. I think she should stay longer. But but........comparing to the others, Isis is probably the right person to go episode 4........cos seriously these bunch of girls are good!! and she lacks self confidence.

I really do hope Sheena could do well and go further. I enjoy watching her, not only because she is asian, she is sincere...... and she have such a great body. I'm just a little annoyed with her eyebrows.....is it too dark or wat? i can't pinpoint.

Another girl that i love to watch would be Elina. She looks amazing all the time!

Im just sad that fansofrealitytv forum does not cover ANTM anymore. I wonder why? i always only visit that forum during ANTM cycles to see what additional news and juicy info from the forumers. OK...can't wait to download the next episode.

Nivea Caregloss and Shine

I havent been buying any cosmetics. But recently i've been experiencing chapped lips.....and it got pretty bad. I've been using my skinfood lipbalm as well as palmers cocoa butter but it doesn't seem to be working.
I had a vaseline that was really good but i just couldn't find it! had no idea where i chucked it.
So the other day, i dropped by Guardian pharmacy to look for a new tube of Vaselline. However, the Nivea lipcare sort of caught my attention.

I was choosing between the two available colors and finally decided on this one. Its basically neutral in color, well maybe a tint of shine. And it smells very nice!! Fruitty. I think it smells like mango.
Upon my first application, i fell in love with it instantly! The texture was just nice, not too sticky nor too diluted. It moistures my lips and lasts quite long until my next application.
I've only been using it for two days and my chapped lips have improved so much already!! And it is not very expensive selling at RM12.90. Perhaps its cost a little more compared to lipice and some others that cost below RM10. But I'm really impressed and thinking of trying the other color in red. :)

When oil price go up....... your reaction so fast..... you also want to tax the people. And now the people are suffering because when you up the oil price by 40%. EVERYTHING also up especially FOOD. Now oil price go down. You and your PETRONAS making tonnes of money. The People still suffering wor.......

Whatever happened to reviewing oil price every 15 days? What happened to that someone who promised to reduce back the price??
