Legendary artists coming back ..

Artistic New Yorker Flo Fox was a legend in the 60's and 70's in her younger years a risk taker who moved to New York with the a bag of clothes and a sewing machine living with friends eventually getting a job as a costume designer at a theater in New York and was hired to do commericals . Miss Fox then moved to photography which made her a legend . She took photos which captured New York night life and in that time what was happening with change , fashion ,art , personality , and life . Fox now 65 was diagnosed with MS which has caused her her to be in a wheelchair and her fingers to stiffen and blindness in one eye, but she continues to capture images by having whoever is with her shoot the pictures for her and Fox directs the one with the camera as if she would shoot it. Miss Fox was given a second chance in remembered when she appeared in Joan Rivers documentary " A Piece of Work," Joan Rivers was delivering meals on wheels and came across Miss Fox which brought Joan Rivers to tears when she viewed an interview with Miss Fox on you tube . Miss Fox continues to post videos on you tube which she is said to have about 30 videos of her past such as interviews with famous photographers and herself being interviewed on talk shows as well. Miss Fox says ," You know my greatest loss when I became disabled?" ..... "I can't even give people the finger anymore." A great legend in her time being friends with Andy Warhol and out in the beautiful streets of New York City in such a great time Miss Fox has been brought back up in conversation and Im glade she is . There was talk of a movie to be made about her life which was forgotten about but I do hope a director and producer to re-think a script for this women who should be remembered . Miss Fox says she chooses to be Euphoric instead of depressed for battling with her disabilities .

my most favorites were defiantly Christian Siriano gowns, Gwen Stephannie's L.A.M.B collection was a so amazing , Betsey Johnson was the funnest show as always , Monique Lhuillier was beautiful and classy . I thought it was a great opening of NYFW and a fantastic way of ending. I wasn't there this year but I will be there soon

So far I just love love Christian Siriano which showed at The Lincoln center In NY for NYFW . Fabulous colors ,texture , and so much creativity , his shows are like a princess dream . He is such a talented talented person and I would love to meet him soon! Zac Posen was also very colorful and a lot of pattern on pattern which is fun for spring , I also couldn't help in notice that his models just so happened to have my Prince hair style , which consists of a sort of fo-hawk with huge curls . UHHUMM I belong in New York City !

I didn't get to go New York for Fashion Night Out but that didn't stop us from being in the New York mood. We Celebrated with high window shopping spirits ! I loved seeing all the fabulous people with drinks in their hand and shopping bags they couldn't even carry all down Melrose from Betsey Johnson to Marc by Marc Jacobs store it was like watching trick or treaters with expensive treats. It was such a good feeling just knowing what was happening . We got to go to Petro Zilla Store which was fabulous as always I love Nony Tocherman . We had some little sweets and some drinks and off to the Teddy's at the Roosevelt with my beautiful sis Greece which by the way has an amazing blog (blogspot.com/lachicademoda) follow her ! My fab friend Joe Castellano and hotty Tara King . A night full of dancing ,drinks, dancing and fashion love love loved !We didn't make it to New York this year but I feel like things will soon change

Last night I couldn't sleep thinking of what I should wear today and I actually was actually going to do the Kelly Bundy look but not being able to sleep I woke up a bit late ran into a wardrobe malfunction and boom plane B was born with I guess ended up up being a toned down Gothic Lolita which I by the way absolutely love anyways. Gothic Lolitas are so daring and so noticeable it seems like you can keep on adding and adding and you wont ever be bored. I get really excited when I see anyone taking chances on their everyday look it really says something about who you are. I think there are so many variations of a "LOLITA " Here are some Lolita inspirational looks by Betsey Johnson, Anna Sui , Chanel,and Tarina Tarintino . You can not say lolita without of coarse Hello Kitty , top hats, and sock with heals or wedges. So my look today started by bringing my hair to a high front pony tail which I ended up adding tons of tulle, a black bow, a necklace , and a top hat ... I'm wearing a Mighty Fine punker Hello Kitty white- T , a puffy black skirt, and of coarse white frilly socks with wedges...
