Hey guys. Long time no see. I had the craziest months latelly. I'm fine and stable but i am loosing lots of hair. I don't know what is wrong with me since i went to the doc and i'm not missing any vitamins or minerals. I'll add more exercise, take off sugars and start taking zinc and biotin to see what happens. Any suggestion is welcome.

moving on to happier things, here's the make up of the day. Ideal for work and school.

I did some modest contouring. Put emphasis on the eyebrows. I wore tinted lipbalm from nivea. It looks like i had a lollipop. I adore it. I put on water proof mascara, concealer and voila!

I was taking selfies on the bus. I wanted to be discreet, that's why i look so serious.lol

Worst mistakes when choosing a dress! ( spacial occasions)

Hey guys! good news!! I found a job!. It's not a big deal. It's temporary. I think I already wrote about it. As you can imagine, it kept me busy. I also have some really cool projects going on, so many places I want to go and things I want to do. It's reassuring. Some days at work, I feel like I'm wasting my potential and I hate being good at a crappy job. Then I think about my plans and projects and I feel so much better with myself. Even if I fail, I'll grow up and get a lesson. Time will tell.
Now that I'm over with the cheese stuff, let's talk about choosing the perfect dress.

I want to talk about the worst mistakes people makes when choosing a dress, because once you weed out the bad there's only place for the good, the great and the excellent.

Sin n1

Too many prints, details or fabrics

Less is more. Specially when you chose a fabric that already has it's own flavor (like sateen, velvet or sequined fabric). If you chose a printed fabric, you have 90% chances of choosing a bad dress, if you are in the 10% who made it right, you are a pro. But if you really want printed fabrics, i suggest something delicate and avoid animal prints. There's nothing wrong with them, but it's not appropriate for special occasions. And if you absolutely want a printed dress, it has to be in a normal fabric, nothing too shiny or hairy ( like sateen or velvet). The only time that prints and sateen work, are with kimonos and with traditional Chinese dresses. What do this two have in comun? they are very minimalist. With highly decorated fabrics you have to keep it simple and the dress has to be in that fabric only

For example:

What makes this dress work it's it simplicity in design but highly decorated fabric. If you want a complex dress, chose a non decorated fabric and monochrome dress.

Why this dress doesn't work is because, first: that's a sateen printed fabric, NO, just NO. Sateen it's already shiny and smooth and pretty to look at. I just noticed there's a different print at the bottom. Too many details,pleats and... stuff. To fix this dress I would take off the black tull, I would use only one fabric, no prints and put the giant pleats elsewhere.

which brings me to the next sins.

Too many colors and too many fabrics

Matching two different colors, it's fine, fun even. Matching two different fabrics it fine too, it can add flavor to a garment. More than that, it gets harder to find the right dress and closer to looking like an overdressed clown. When the dress has different fabric, the best is that the dress is balanced. either little details as accents in one fabric, or top of one fabric and bottom of another. If monochrome, better. When it comes to colors is the same, the colors have to match, the second color has to be more or of an accent, rather than half the dress. I remember this school mate of mine wore the ugliest dress to her college prom. The design was good, a bit slutty for my taste, but she has the body for it. But the top was sequins, the bottom was composed of panels of different colors and black shorts under it. I would love to show you a picture, but i don't feel like shaming the girl, I would burn the dress or dye it black.

This dress is more complicated that what it looks, it has a lot of details. It works because the fabrics complement each other, lace and chiffon were made to be friends. I think a dress that has lace as an accent fabric will always work. Another thing that makes this gorgeous dress work is that it's monochromatic, if u change the color of one of this fabric the dress will be ruined.

This one kills me, because I see lost potential. The design is simple, yet pretty. The fabrics are beautiful, but that blue band is too big. i would make it small or pink ( or the pink part blue)

This dress would be really awesome if ...that thing, was smaller or not there.It would be a simple dress, but effective.

Going tooo simple

I am a believer that less is more, but going to simple is just boring. You don't have special occasions everyday, so have fun. Even if going simple is better than looking like a clown, it's just so so boring. There are good type of simple and early 2000s tube dresses with spaghetti straps.

I love friends, but i'm not friend of any of this looks.

Don't overdue the sexy

There is nothing wrong with trying to look sexy....as long as you pull it off. Sometimes the line between sexy and looking like a hooker can be thin. Checking out my friends prom's facebook pictures, I noticed at least 70% tried to look sexy, most of them failed. Specially teenagers. Young ladies, please, don't try to look sexy. Many of you are not even legal. Enjoy your youth, cause when you get older you will want to look younger. My best tip is to dress for your body type. You can actually hide you boobs and ass and still look hot and confident. If you show too much, you have to be skilled to make it look hot. To wear cleavage or show your side boob, you have to be delicate, it has to be more of tease, rather than almost showing you nipples.

I told you, everything she wears is perfection. Even if that cleavage is deep, it doesn't show too much breast, it looks sexy and a bit cute too.

This one works for the same reasons as Lupita's dress, but also the fabric is elegant and the dress fits her like a glove.

This one works because it lets you imagine what's in there without revealing everything.

I am in love with this dress.

Everyone knows this one already. It will go down to history for obvious reasons. I'm not her biggest fan, but she has worn better dresses, even with cleavage. This one show too much of everything. If you g to a party and people are waiting for you nipples to slip out, may be you should reconsider your dress.

This one is a big failure cause it looks like a fancy apron. Who knows, may be she does wear that while cooking . Who knows . may be, she wanted to make some statement about organic eating or something and she failed cause she's disconnected from this world. Statement or not, The bottom looks nice but she should wear a shirt on top of it or something, or a blazer.

How to dress like a lady in special occasions ( preview)

Hey guys! i'm finally here. I had a busy week so i had no time for posting , however i got a new job. Nothing fancy but something before i get my dream job.

It's been a week since i had my formal event. It was beatifull. The birthday girl looked like a princess and the turquase colour of 2013 still needs some time, cause it was the colour of the night and everyone was wearing it. I don't like this pantone colour of the year thing. If it suits me n i like it i wear it. I'm still rocking coral even if it's 2 years old. But hey everything comes back, so i'm actually 18 years in advance....

Anyways.

I wore a teal/green dress, embroidery on the top, sateen on the bottom with a white bustier under it. I had silver accesories, including a hadband and a cluch. I forgot the bracalets. My hands felt naked.

For the make up i went old hollywood with a twist. I had an sty the day before, it went down a bit and it was easy to conceal. Instead of red lips, i wore bright pink. I think i looked younger than many of the teenagers there. lol. I don't like it when teens try to look older. U guys are beautiful and young, enjoy it!! However, some of those teen girls were so beautifully dressed that i have high hopes for the future of fashion.

So before I start writing how to dress and do your make up on special events, i'll show you how i dress on special events.

On wenesday, I'll start talking about dresses.

Thursday I went to a charity event my friend was hosting. It was the perfect occasion to wear my new dress.....that i made all by myself <3 <3 so i was feeling happy to wear it.

So today is finally the other big event of the week where i get to wear my cocktail dress. Only bad news is that i have a freaking sty on my eye. That is an extra to write about on my upcoming "how to look great in special occasions"

Meanwhile, here's my dress and make up pictures ( i was running out of time, so i took pictures on the bus. Anything for my 2 fans....if i still have any. Lol)

If you guys play close attention you can tell one of my eyes is baggier than the other due to that damn sty. Bold oarge lips do a great distracting job ( besides looking great)

Haul + review!! (drugstore, except one)

I hate when people makes haul videos. I think that if it's not followed by a review, it's totally useless. I don't care what you buy unless you tell me what's good or bad about it and if I should buy it or not.
Anyways, since i ran out of some make up essentials and i have an event coming up soon, i did some shopping yesterday. Unfortunately I lost my job just yesterday, so i had to keep it cheap, but with the best quality as possible. Buying low quality products ends up being more expensive, regardless of the price you pay. I did manage to buy some cool stuff that fulfills my needs and i'm ready to go to job interviews looking professional.

So , let's start with the reviews!

Tony Molly concealer

This one guys..... I can't , is just... ahhhhh!!!!...... so awesome. I already tried a Tony Molly concealer before and i was perfect for me, great coverage, perfect color and a little bit went a long way. This one is just the same but in cream format. And it's so creamy. A little bit does a great job, your brush barely has to touch the pot. I only corrected half my face with this one, and woooowww. What a difference. Best part, since it was on sale and i have a v.i.p card, i only payed 4$ tax included. The original price on yesstyle.com is around 12$ no clue how much on amazon. I highly recomend this product because it's perfect. The only downside is that it comes in a few colors, so it's more suitable if you have yellow undertones.

Annabelle Twist Up Lipstick- Kinky pink and Bubble

Ok, I actually bought Kinky Pink yesterday and i had Bubble for a few years now. I am pleased with bubble very much . It last long, easy to wear, travel friendly. Basically, a go to lipstick if u want a bright color. I like that it's twist up, so no need to sharpen it. I like that it's a "pencil" format, cause it's easy to apply if you don't have a brush. It's fool proof even in complicated colors, it even works when the sharp point goes away. I wanted that specific color for a while and I want to go for a Gianna Jung look for the event i have soon. Again, i got this one on sale, so i got it for 7$ I don't think there is any negative thing to say about both colors or I wouldn't buy it more than once. I don't know if bubble is still on sale, but fizz looks pretty similar.

Essence "Get big lashes" waterproof mascara

If you live in Canada or any country where it snows ans rains a lot, you NEED a waterproof mascara. Since I can be a moron sometimes ( and i hated waterproof make up until i discovered the awesomeness of coconut oil or olive oil) It took me almost the whole winter to get one. I already tried some essence products ( concealers, another mascara and eye brow pencil) they are the cheapest in the Canadian market ( at least montreal) and they are surprisingly good. May be not the best if you particular needs? no clue on that one. So far this one has been working great. It does give me volume and it's waterproof, just like it says. It's comparable to any drugstore mascara, but cheaper. I don't know if it would work for someone with short lashes. I don't have lash length problems, so the simplest mascara is good for me. But i do see a great difference. As I said, comparable to other brands.

Essence mascara " all eyes on me"

As for the other mascara i got once... It was the cheapest one of all. If you want a natural looks, it works but it has a lot of fallout. Since i have dark circles i don't like that. It does come on funky colors, so that's cool. Even if I didn't get it yesterday, it had to be said.

Rimmel " wake me up" concealer

I am a big fan of Rimmel, i have tried their blushes, lipsticks, mascaras, eye liners and powders. I have never been disappointed. The day they stopped testing on animals was a glorious day, cause this brand is amazing. My go to concealers and an all time favorite is this one :

But since this one wasn't on sale and the other one was, i decided to give it a try ( since i'm all about trying new things) There are no regrets, but the match perfection and anything from tony molly will always be perfection. Don't get me wrong, the wake me up has it's qualities. It's very light and it has a decent coverage. Match perfection covers better. this one is more like a mini foundation u should put on your traveling bag.

Guess who`s back!!

It`s been so long since I've been gone that i am ashamed to even say it out loud. I have been so busy in the past....times. So much has happened, like graduation, studying menswear , changing my hair color countless of times. Etc. That doesn't mean this blog was not in my mind during that time. In fact i had the intention of resurrecting it. Since I have an special event coming up soon that required me to make a cocktail dress, i though of all the mistakes people makes in those special events. also, prom is coming soon too, so the timing is just perfect. I'll talk about the fashion, make up, hair and preparation. So now i'll go do some reaserch and come back with plenty of posts about how to rock special events. Whether you will be late or not, you'll be fashionable. Also, in new changes to bring to the blog, i want to add a little bit for the men demographic, since some menswear deserves a bit more attention. I would like some friend to collaborate with their insight and knowledge about the plus size industry. If there's anything you guys want to see, read or show, please let me know. No make up n no dairy month

Long time no see, so it's the first week of the winter edition of no make up month and the second week of no dairy month. And hell is hard. What it is surprising is that i noticed the effect right away, my acne is going away. I still have scars n red spots but my acne is drying. I will be honest, i haven't stopped eating cheese . I did, however, reduced considerably my amount of dairy consumption. It is amazing how much milk and cheese one eats without noticing. I am a bit concerned about my bones though. Sometimes my right hand gets very week n reducing the calcium amount inside my body is a terrible idea.... so calcium n vitamin d supplements will become my friends soon.

So does dairy cause acne? i will say yes.

I've been taking care of my skin more than ever and drinking so much water, so everything ads up and it shows. Do i recommend to go vegan? only if you want too. This is as cliche as it gets, moderation is the key. No need to avoid the simple things you love in life, just don;t let them ruin your face, body and health.

As for the no make up week goes. Nobody notices. If they do, they r too polite to say anything. I would say nobody gives a fuck. Which is good. Some people did ask me in the morning if i was feeling ok. So that means i either look terrible in the morning or that i am amazing applying make up half sleep...or both.Probably both. I have some product reviews to do soon and hopefully some fashion to post. After all this is fashion geekness,not beauty junkies.... well make up and hair are essential parts of the fashion statement, so fuck it. Se ya soon people. my hand hurts tonight

I started a food journal. it wont make much sence to suffer about not eating cheese for skin reaserch' sake if i eat cookies, candies and salty stuff on the other hand. Another reason, is so i can see how much liquid i drink, if i have terrible bad reaction too x food and to have a writen prove that my college is pro- anorexia and pro- dehydratasion.
Again, all this experiments i do, I will share them with you, so you can be aware of what causes acne to you or your friends.

shame on me. School has been killing me lately. That doesn't mean i didn't;t have my nice little blog at heart.

So many clothes to show, so many product reviews to do. I might even try doing some video stuff.... who knows. I don;t know a thing of editing.

But winter is here and you guys remember what i said last summer, no make up month will happen in winter too. I might do 3 weeks or 2, i don;t know, but it will happen.

I want so bad to post this blog more often, i hope school and work will allow it.

To make thing interesting I have a couple of experiments to do, the first one starting tomorrow and it is

No dairy moth!!!

it is the must insane self- challenge ever. If no make -up month was harsh, this will be... revolutionary, intriguing, .... i don't know what bullshit name to give it. it will be a pain in the ass. I love cheese. For me to describe my love for cheese i need to make up some fancy word that illustrates love at orgasmic and cosmic levels.

Why am i doing this? u may ask. You, who loves cheese so much and preaches the respect for food ?

Well, i have terrible skin. I want to see if not consuming cow related products will help.

Milk, yogurt and all that is awesome, but the hormones inside of it don;t react well to everyone. Not eating this type of products will make me realize how much i eat everyday and it will help me tell ( and my acne prone friends and readers) if dairy products and it's unnatural hormones are that bad for our skin or not.

After that I will try the no make up month again, right in the middle of the winter semester. This time i will be in contact with much much more people than the summer version of no make -up month, therefore, different reactions. We will see, i promise to write every detail =)

Rose tea!

This is my new magic possion: rose tea

i've heard coutnless times about the benefic effects of rose tea and ,damn, it works.
I have terrible skin, i'm pale, full of red acne and now it's gone. The effects are pretty fast too. I broke out just on mid terms and when i ran out of roses. terrible timing. I bought more roses and the week after my skin didn'y have any acne at all. I still have some marcs, no big deal.

U can find red roses for tea at any tea store. U can prepare it like in the picture above , just boiling water and a bunch of roses. or mix one rose with a tea spoon of any type of tea u want ( buy loose leaf tea , by the way, those r the best) the roses will last longer and it's effective.

If u live in montreal, go to " my cup of tea" in chinatown, the teas are great and one of the guys working there is like a walking tea wikipedia and the service is great.

I hope u enjoy it as much as i do, u can drink it hot and cold and it's equally awesome

The world has a weird reaction to curly hair. This is not a deep sociological study, but it doesn't make it completely untrue. After all I'm relying on personal experience from me and a bunch of other people. When it comes to hair discrimination, curly people and red heads have it worst. I think curly people have it even worst. You always see some red headed girl in magazines but not curly hair girl, may be black people, but never white people with natural curly hair.

Usual reaction to curly hair is, either people adore it and want to touch it, either people hates it or you never though about it. When you are in elementary school, the haters are more noticeable. Kids are demonic dicks that will make fun of you because you are different. May be 2 popular doucheys dislike it and the rest just jump in the bandwagon just for the hell of acceptance and conformity, may be many kids hate curls. Somebody will tell you they like your hair and you wont believe them or think they are those people saying nice thing to the pity . Congrats kids, you just created a complex in little vulnerable human because you just couldn't deal with difference, way to go douchbag, don't be surprised if karma fuck u in the ass, must of my elementary school enemies ended up being teenage mothers. So people, teach your kids not to be dicks or you'll be a young grand parent or pay for rehab or you kid might end up in the hospital because some ginger or lion head girl beat the crap out of him/she. Ok, fatalistic end, i know, but is true about the pregger teenage enemies.

Do you have any idea how many girls and boys hated their hair and have low self esteem because the whole population of their world was telling them it's bad to have curly hair? I wonder if people with very thin ridiculously flat and greasy hair have to deal with this? I've seen those, but nobody told them anything.

As you can tell i have encounter many douchebags in my life. Moving into high school. That part of my life was divided in 2 parts, pre and post Canada. I am from Argentina, and as fashionable as people is in there, they have low tolerance for difference. For example, skinny jeans are in, if u wear normal jean people will tell you you look like a clown, if they are nice. And they don't even have to be your friends, people in the street will point at you from the other side of the street and say something ( same applies if you have a badonkadong that is pleasant to masculine eyes) . So imagine being an ugly looking girl with curly hair in Argentina. Nightmare!!!!! people was all the time telling me to change n get my hair flat and shit. It was boring and annoying. And very hypocrite too, some people wasn't in position to judge. I don't regret it though. Not relying on your looks makes your brain bloom and flourish in creative smart ways. I tell you, karma is my bitch. I still have a long way to go in this life, i have to finish college and all that, but those people didn't even finished high school. Don't rely on your looks people. I might be in fashion, but you need brains to rule the world.

The post Canada part is not long. I was 15 and Canadians are usually polite. The only people that ever told me that didn't like my hair were Argentineans that didn't like curly hair ( not all Argentineans are curl haters by the way) and only one girl said " i don't like curl" in shy way. I do have to admit that by the time i was here i learned to control my hair and all.

I did noticed, nobody in here has curly hair. Well they do, but big percentage of ladies and all emo boys get their hair straight. And i am all of enjoy originality.

Long story short, kids and teenagers are dicks and context plays a big role on how much you love you hair and yourself. I had bad experience with people, but fortunately not everyone are un-polite douchebags and a lot of people actually like curls and red hair. And brain, ladies, use your brain, a good comeback is always worthy when dealing with morons.

Curly hair

If there is something i know about, is curly hair. I could lose my memorie but i would still be skillful on curly hair. That is why i never go to hair stylist, they do not know a shit. Seriously people, if you have curly hair, learn to cut it yourself, or if you have a good hair stylist never let that person go.

Curly hair has two universal rules, everybody has different type of curls and those with straight hair want curls and those with curly hair will want straight hair. Also, bully bitches will make fun of your hair boucle awesomeness and make your life in elementary school a nightmare. How come everyone in Canada gets their hair straight? so boring. I blame the media ( we'll get on that later)

This post will discuss a couple of things. First: how to treat curly hair. Second: the world and your curls. Third the media and the curls. Forth: what to do when you don't want curly hair or want curls, but avoiding hot items.

The secret of awesome looking curls is on how you treat it. I personally think longer hair is better than short curly, but that's me. A lot of people hate their hair because they say their curls are ugly and have no grace. Treating curly hair is a totally different thing from straight hair. You might want to try different techniques, because every person has different curls. What work for me might not work for you, but the products are always the same as well as the basics. You ALWAYS have to comb your hair when is wet, always ,always, always and get you favorite hair product to keep them in shape, unless you want an afro. Nothing wrong with that. The products you should use can be gel ( it doesn't look wet if you apply it on wet hair) conditioner ( after you brushed it) or leave in conditioner ( i made mine : 1/4 conditioner, 3/4 water and lemon, all mixed in an spry bottle) that's my fave, leaves hair shiny,soft and when you shower you can pass your fingers through with no problem. You can also try oils. A lot of people use mouse, but in my experience it burns hair. Mousse is cool before doing a brushing or something like that.

Once you apply you product you brush it and tap with a towel. The way you do this totally changes the curls ( at least in my case). I use a fine comb and tab my hair on the side carefully. You never shake your head on a towel, never,never ,never. For more rock star curls ,kind of lion looking, you use a thick hair brush with separated teeth and you tab the towel from bottom to top and massage a little at the top of your head. You let hair dry, blow dryer will only mess up your hair. Taylor Swift does it that way, i do it too and it works. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i love how his girl dresses! her style is so ridiculously pretty. Teenage girls are so lucky now. When i was a teen ager the idols were Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Miley Cyrus and it was the golden age of flashing vaginas to the paparazzi. Pandas are beautiful animals. Sadly, they are an endangered species and we have to do something about it. The extinction of pandas is a serious problem. Meanwhile, is not by having panda make up that this adorable bear will reproduce itself ( same goes for you, furries).

Wearing white concealer should be a crime. I take this matter so seriously that i will translate this post to all the languages I'm capable of. White eye concealer looks bad! Let me visually illustrate you the problem.

The solution is so simple that you should feel very very very stupid if you have panda eyes. Chose a mother fucking colour that matches you face colour ( I'm going to assume that you chose a good foundation, if you wear)you can go may be a shade lighter than you face color, may be 2, never more than that. Same goes for your face, pick a foundation of the same color of your neck. The market is full of concealed of all the colors, textures and prices. You chose the texture you want, . Make sure you blend that mo-fucking bastard well in your face, no lines, and you shouldn't be able to tell where it starts or where it ends, it has to gracefully blend in your skin.

Do I make myself clear? panda make up looks hideous. If you have dark skin buy one with orange undertones and if you have light skin wear one with yellow undertones, never white, nor yellow or green.

Now you might be curious, why in hell does white concealer exist? Simple, highlighting. You can use it on your brow bone or the inner corner of your eyes, that's about it.If you are pale and know how to bled you can use it to highlight your cheekbones and nose bridge. ONLY if you are pale.

Also you can rock good old black metal corpse paint with you white concealer

Emilie and I went downtown shopping. We went to this crazy vintage store with the coolest clothes ever. Is not even an expensive vintage store, but we got super lucky cause Emilie got tones of awesome clothes and a pair of vintage Ferragamo shoes that look very European 40's and i got this amazing pair of Patou shoes.

Emilie y yo fuimos de compras al centro y visitamos este negocio de ropa vintage con la mejor ropa. Ni siquiera es un negocio caro, Tuvimos suerte y encontramos un montón de ropa genial y un par de zapatos Ferragamo y Patou

Emilie et moi sommes allées magasiner au centre-ville et nous avons visité cette magasine vintage avec les vêtements les plus belles. C'etais même pas cher. Nous avons trouvé plusieurs choses et on a acheté des souliers Patou et Ferragamo.
