Supermodel Erin O’Connor has created his first clothing line named She Died Of Beauty in collaboration with stylist Kate Halfpenny. The line features five T-shirts and two bag.

“The very visual nature of fashion is to manipulate and exaggerate almost everything,” say the pair. “We loved the idea of twisting a polite sentiment into a naughty yet, frivolously funny statement that we hope will appeal to all.”

The collection is made from ethically source organic materials. T-shirts cost £40 and the cotton bags cost £20.

Marc Jacobs has opened a new store on Manhattan’s Bleecker Street named Bookmarc, which will be home to a careful selection of book titles and Marc Jacobs stationery products.

“We’ve developed a very big business in books. It’s more art books, it’s more photography books, and then it’s very personal to the company,” Robert Duffy tells WWD. “We have the luxury of picking somebody and commissioning something. I can ask one of the artists that I work with to together make a book.”

Prices for the Marc-branded school supplies are college student budget-friendly, with most (non-leather) items under $30.

2010 GQ Men of the Year Awards were celebrated at Royal Opera House.Giorgio Armani received GQ’s Designer of the Year Award at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in London on Wednesday.

The award was presented to him by close friend and collaborator, film director Martin Scorsese.

Karl Lagerfeld will not show a Lagerfeld collection at Paris Fashion Week . The show was scheduled to happen on October 3.

Instead, Lagerfeld’s representatives told Women’s Wear Daily that he will focus on a new collection called Masstige, based on the idea of “mass elitism”. The collection will be ready for A/W 2011, and will be sold online as well as via his Paris and Milan showrooms.

The collection – which will reportedly include women’s wear, some men’s pieces, denim, and sportswear -  will “be something affordable for lots of people,” the designer told WWD.

Jessica Simpson attended the launch event for her Spring 2011 “Show Me Your Blues” Jeanswear collection at the Jessica Simpson Collection Showroom in New York City on Tuesday. Jessica was joined by her boyfriend Eric Johnson, sister Ashlee and her husband Pete Wentz as she launched the new line.

“I am so excited to share my new denim line with everyone!” Jessica tells People mag. “It is comfortable, affordable and trend-right. I am already wearing them and loving them!”

The Jessica Simpson Jeanswear Collection will offer five styles of jeans (including skinnies, flares and jeggings), available in multiple washes and all retailing for $49 to $69. Complementary tops and jackets will cost $29 to $79.

Women’s Wear Daily reports that Maybelline New York’s new Fit Me line will target the entry-level face-makeup wearer as well as foundation diehards, with its new twist on the “shade true” category.

Fit Me to start in January 2011 and consists of a foundation, powder, blush, and made to work together as the total score. Three sunscreens also complete the collection.

While there is no word on when the line will be in stores, prices will range from $5.51 to $7.99 for the makeup line.

Heidi Klum has created a versatile active wear collection for New Balance for modern women on-the-go called Heidi Klum for New Balance launching this Fall 2010 exclusively on Amazon.

The line, which will feature silk-and-cotton tunics, tops, leggings and outerwear, will be available on October 7th and retail between $32 and $168.

“I definitely know what it means to be on the go: four kids, school drop-offs, playdates, sports activities, the park…it goes on and on,” Klum told Womens Wear Daily. “As much as I love the gowns and sparkly clothes, what I turn to most in my closet are active clothes that look stylish but are comfortable and work for all of my activities. That is exactly what my line for New Balance is all about.”

Klum visualized the ad campaign for Heidi Klum for New Balance, shot by famed photographer Rankin, with Jan Dikkers, Amazon Clothing’s creative director.

Natalie Imbruglia joins the celebrity fashion designer bandwagon, as she teams up with Australian fashion label Banjo & Matilda for a collection of knitwear.

All proceeds from the piece will go to the End Fistula Campaign which is a women’s health charity.

The knit piece, named Lucky, features a Four-leaf clover and was inspired by Imbruglia’s own life.

“The four-leaf clover is a powerful symbol to me, so much so that I have it tattooed on the inside of my wrist…My sister and I both have the design to remind us of not only one another, but also of how grateful we are to be living great lives” she recently said.

From every £299 of each sweater, a portion of $100 will be donated to charity.

Lily Allen recently opened a vintage clothing shop called Lucy in Disguise with her sister, Sarah Owen. The duo launched a pop-up boutique in Selfridges’ Wonder Room in London.

According to Women’s Wear Daily, Lucy in Disguise “has been designed in the vein of a ‘modern-day Biba,’ Allen’s publicist Liz Matthews said.”

While the pop up boutique is up and running at Selfridges now, Lily and sis will officially launch Lucy In Disguise in 2011.
