IFB PROJECT #11: EVOLUTION OF FASHION MEDIA

I started blogging a few months ago, when I did a project to graduate from high school, which the topic was the same as this.After like a year of research I found amazing fashion blogs that now are a big influence in my style. When I turn on the computer everyday I always open facebook and those fashion sites to save pictures to keep in my inspiration folder.

10 Fashion sites I love.
1. stylescrapbook. Andy has a great style, she always dresses in a simple but chic way. What I love about her style is simplicity when less comes more which give her that amazing classy vibe. Another reason to love her being Mexican, there are only a few mexican bloggers and she is an inspiration to us.
2.song of style. I loove love love here style is stunning.
3. the beauty department. it is fashion but well I include makeup blogs as fashion ! I love all the tips this girls give and the vintage photos they use. they are sooo cute!
4.Forever21. My fav store. I always check they web site to see which new trends arrive and obviously what to buy next. 5.Lookbook.nu: I love to see different styles from people around the world. When I dont what to wear I always go to my account and open my home page. I love seeing creativity and culture from everyone!
6.Nasty Gal: another store, but well I always look up their website, they sell amazing clothes.
7.Ebay: I love browsing through ebay with vintage store, you can find amazing pieces and you may buy them or just have an idea of something similar you have.
8. Cheyenne meets Chanel : I love this carefree style about here. All her clothes are amazing!
9.The sartorialist : I love everything about photography.
10. Kenza: shes is so pretty, and I like her casual-fashionable style.

FIRST DIY inspiration feathers.

I am a lover of feathers and now more that are coming BIG this fall. Yesterday I went shopping and I saw a lot of feathers extensions. When I was about to buy one I realized that they are really easy to create our own. I was browsing through the internet and here is the inspiration I got.

WHAT YOU NEED:

Feathers . You can buy them at any craft store.
Those rings to attache jewelry
Thread
Beads
Bobby pins
First you need to put glue(the one that you use for wood) and you stick a piece of thread there. You do that for all the feathers you want. Then you put the beads through the thread to the top of the feather.
Then you just need all the strings together and make a knot at the little ring. Now you just have to put a bobby pin on it and ready to use!

Right shades for your skin tone

Sometimes you may be wondering what color of eyeshadow will make your eyes pop?Make up can be worn by everyone but theres also some shades that will go with your skin tone and others not. In my first post I thought that making a list of what goes with your skin tone to make easier your makeup routine.

FAIR shadows: darker shades or eye liner. they will contrast the light complexion. Try with metallic shadows to give some radiance to your skin.
Blush: try blushes with a peach hue, may add you more color to your skin than a pink one.
Lips: In my opinion darker shades are the best but it also depend from the shadow you wear. You can try a really strong pink shade for night or a peachy lipgloss for day.
BEIGE: shadows: neutrals,earth colors.
blush: a bronzer to add some warm to your skin.Mix it with a pink blush.
lips: A pink lips gloss will add you some color to your skin. Try to avoid nude colors.
Bronze
BRONZE: shadows: metallic neutral shadows, champagne hue is perfect.
Blush: pink or peach blushes.(bronzers will disappear in your skin) Lips: An orange lipsgloss or lipstick will be great on you. Your natural golden tones will stand out.
DEEP:shadows: shimmer metallics.
blush: A rosy blush(it is darker than pinks) it will give your skin the color you need.
Lips: Bold colors! deep shades will pop against your skin.

Makeup,hair,nails! what girl doesn't love those things? no one! as I said this blog was going to be about fashion and beauty. Makeup is a big thing in every girl's life, you can make a BIG change when you just change your lipstick color, or maybe your attitude( how do you feel when you rock the amazing red lipstick?) makeup can improve your self esteem although you have to love yourself by who you are, but sometimes you wanna change. from my bag..IFB PROJECT #9: WHAT’S IN YOUR BAG?

This post is for IFB project, when I first saw the project I was really excited because I love this kind of spots. Well I usually carry oversized bags, but now I have this clutch.
1.A little owl wallet. I always carry this when i have smaller bags. I love owls and how they are making a big statement now in fashion and they became one of my fav accesories.
2.A small mirror. I can't live without one, well seriously who girl can(: ?
3. Nivea hand cream i like to have my hands soft all day.
4.Ipod. sometimes Im walking in the street alone or in the bus from school and my ipod its like a friend haha(:
5.gum! I looooove gum specially this fruitflavor.
6.nail file. there no worst sensation that breaking a nail thats why I always carry on.
7.lip gloss/lipsticks. I have to have lipstick on always! specially pink shades, they reflect mygirly personality.
8.blotting papers. I live in a really hot city, so this keep my makeup on and not melting it!
9.phone. I always carry one just to be intouch with my family in friends.

Im a girly girl and what I have in my bag reflect it(: can't live without lipsticks my mirror and my nail file! and my clutch is really girly too! what's in yours(: ?

After a long time wondering how to start my first post I decided to make a quick presentation about my blog and what im writing about. Most of all my writing will be about fashion and beauty trends including my own outfits and some beauty tips. Also I'll be writing about cooking and some DIY.
