Just before Christmas I went to Cape Town to shoot some Main Fashion.. Its my fourth time there and I love it, This time I was lucky enough to shoot on Safari. It was literally amazing!
We shoot 3 stories whilst we were there- all in very different locations. Its definitely a massive perk of the job to see amazing locations all over the world. Here are some behind the scenes pictures that I took on my travels...

Woah.. how slack have we been? Sorry guys! We have both been majorly manic and both went away over Christmas. Things have started to calm down so we are back with vengeance on top form.
Clare is currently sunning herself on a Main Fashion Trip in Miami as we speak and I am knee deep in ticket requests at my desk. Im requesting tickets for NYC, PARIS, MILAN & LONDON for our fashion team.. as the Fashion Season is slowly but surely hurtling towards us.
I am off on a press trip to a military fitness boot camp on Saturday in Malaga which i am both excited and terrified about and then jetting straight to LA to shoot Main Fashion before the shows start! Its non stop!

Super Supperclub!

I have often heard fabulous rumors about an indulgent night spot in Amsterdam, Supperclub, and had always wanted to experience the delights for myself, but not having the time nor the money I jumped at the chance to review the London version that has recently graced Notting Hill with its presence.

We were told to arrive at 8pm sharpish and ushered into a underground bar for cocktails and wine - it's all very mysterious and you aren't told what's happening or when. All of a sudden at 8.30pm prompt the huge hidden sliding doors swoosh open revealing an authentically fabulous all-white room on two levels ringed with raised bedding platforms covered in white mattresses and cushions.

We were led to our seat by a quirky waitress in a skimpy body con number and told to take our shoes off. We hopped on the beds and got comfy. The beds are positioned around a central area which turns into a dance floor later on. It's set out in a way where you can get a good look at everything going on. There is no menu, it's a set dinner so you don't know what you are having until it's put in front of you. We were treated to a Thai green curry soup, followed by fillet of beef with a red wine sauce and for dessert, cheesecake. The chef is the former head chef of the OXO-tower and the food was to die for.

Inbetween the food beautiful young people entertain you with exotic performance art and cutting-edge cabaret. Meanwhile masseuses come and offer massages inbetween courses. It sets the tone that anything can happen here- and it certainly does!

I can not recommend this night enough, not only for the food, but the whole experience really does make it a special evening that is sure to by a topic of conversation for weeks after!

We have been super busy at the moment going to SS11 press days and busy calling in for our Spring fashion trips! Tash is off to South Africa and I'm heading to Miami...both uber excited at the prospect of some SUN!!

Gay Parieeeee

I was lucky enough to go to Paris last weekend for a travel feature. It was amazing! I stayed in Hotel Du Louvre which was right opposite the Louvre.. Its an amazing uber posh 4 star hotel that had champers in the room and chocolates on the pillow come bed time- Lush!
I was a proper tourist and saw all the sights via a boat trip and an open top bus! I went to the Moulin Rouge, KONG restaurant (as seen on SATC film) and hunted high and low for the best flea markets and shops. I ate far too much and drunk enough wine to last me a lifetime.. Ahhh I love Paris!

This week was the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year awards where we spent the night drinking champers and chatting up as many celebs as possible...here was our night in pictures the rest speaks for itself...it was an amazing night!

A few months back myself and Clare did a photo-shoot for our page in the mag.. Its called Personal Stylist and we decided to shoot the clothes on ourselves. We wanted to show that anyone, whatever shape can wear a 'key' item of the season. We shot the tailored trouser, the fitted blazer, The LBD and the tulip skirt. We wanted to show that if your petite or curvy you can still work these looks! Here a couple of shots from the shoot.. Hope you like!

Last night we went to the Dorothy Perkins and Miss Selfridge Xmas Press day where we well and truly spoilt, not only with all the gorgeous sparkly clothes and shoes but the lovely girls from the PR office had laid on manicures, blow drys, false lashes, cupcake and Champers!

There are hip happenings occurring in London's Covent Garden right now. The very slick New York designer, Kate Spade has just opened a pop-up store on Henrietta Street. We're super excited as it's the first time the label has been available to buy in the UK.

She's bought a bit of New York style to London by converting a townhouse into Kate Spade world with ornate and quirky vintage furniture adorned with her adorable handbags and shoes.

To-die-for coats, dresses and cardigans fill the wardrobes, whilst her trinket jewellery glitters on antique dressing tables. It literally is like walking into somebody's exquisite home, except in this case, you can buy what you see. We love this metallic tote bag.

Hot Hair

Last week to recover from the post LFW stress i booked myself into Nevilles in Knights bridge for an extra treat. A firm favourite amongst celebrities and fashionistas all over London I knew I was in for the 5 star treatment.

I went for a cut and colour. The colourist literally sat with me for 20 min going through the exact shade that would be right for my features.. A-mazing! I wasn't too adventurous with the cut and stuck for a trim.The salon is amazing, really relaxing and modern. I for one am always a bit dubious about going to posh trendy salons as its easy to feel intimidated, however the staff at Neville make you feel completely at home and the service is amazing. Every member of staff i spoke to was down to earth, super friendly and super chatty- what more could you want?! It really is worth the money! Id go as far as to say its the best cut & colour ive had by far.. With a wide range of pioneering hair, beauty and reflexology treatment this salon really is one to watch!

On Monday I worked on the cover shoot of the Jan issue of our magazine. With some gorgeous famous faces! We headed down to the Worx studio in Parsons Green with 5 suitcases of amazing designer dresses, statement shoes and lots of sparkle!

I love doing celebrity cover shoots, not only does it give me a chance to see what the celebs are reeeeally like off camera but i always manage to find out a bit of celeb goss! This shoot was ace and involved lots of sexy shoes, balloons and even cupcakes! I even managed a cheeky snap of our gorgeous cover girl sporting some amazing leopard Jimmy Choo's- enjoy!

Been so busy with LFW haven't had time to put up my blog pix from NY! Had an amazing time shooting our 14 page December main fashion for the magazine and also managing to see some of the shows while I was there!

Day 1: Managed to pop along to Betsey Johnson show, which was an amazing celeb fest... brushed past the super skinny Kelly Osbourne and the gorgeous Carmen Electra. The show was incredible, a mix of punked up taxi driver, naughty nautical and amazing 80s prom dresses! Betsey came on at the end and did her customary cartwheel just to add to the eccentricity of it

Day 2: MULBERRY Time! The show was on during the day, it was on the rooftop of Soho House which smelt and tasted of roses! The models all donned red hair as a blatant appreciation of Florence Welch who later played an amazing intimate set with the rest of her machine at the after party!

All in all it was an amazing trip!
