Katie Holmes has never really been a favorite of mine when it comes to fashion and style, but when I saw her in this outfit, I fell in love (with the look)! She just looks terrific, 70s inspired, but very much 2010 trendy. I love the fact that she’s mixing the double denim trend with two different shades of blue and wearing the flare jeans, that I wrote about as a hot new trend just last week. Her cool blue Ray-Ban wayfarers make the whole outfit a bit more rock n’ roll, while the bags make it more feminine and elegant. Go Katie on this one!

One of my favorite summer activities is catching a movie at an open air cinema or attending an open air concert. It’s fun, relaxing and you get to enjoy yourself outdoors with some friends and at the same time watch a movie or see a band! These things usually start in the afternoon and end late in the evening, so deciding what to wear all depends on the time and the occasion!

The Casual

You’re going to catch ’500 Days Of Summer’ with a group of friends. You are all excited for this after a long day at work, organizing your closet, playing around at the beach…

Anything special you like to do during summer?

One of the most relaxing and rewarding beauty procedures is a pedicure at home. After a long, hot, summer’s day, sit down in your favorite chair, on the terrace or wherever else you feel comfortable and treat your feet for a little while. You’ll look better, feel better and sleep better!

How To Get Soft Feet…

There are two ways to take a foot bath – using an electronic foot spa or a regular plastic bowl. I am more fond of the home prepared bowl bath, because you can make a foot bath that’s just perfect for you…

Before you get going, bring everything you’ll need and set it up, so you don’t have to get up, because you’ve forgotten something!

1. Remove the nail polish if there is any before you put the feet into the bowl.

2. Mix 7 cups of water with 2 cups of milk.

3. Heat the liquid, so the temperature suits your feet.

4. Put some rosemary into the bowl.

5. Add a handful of sea salt.

6. Soak your feet 15 – 20 minutes.

7. Use pumice stone to soften your feet and remove hard skin!

8. Find a rich foot cream and rub and massage your feet with it.

9. Put cotton socks on after the creme is absorbed a little.

10. Once the foot creme is absorbed, you’re feet are ready for a trendy summer nail polish!

Repeat this procedure at least once a week and moisturize your feet before you go to bed every night! The sea salt from all the swimming along with the sun will dry them out!

Do you have any other tips for soft feet?

I have received quite a few request from guys, asking me to do a post about men’s fashion. And since I’ve always enjoyed shopping for the men in my life, especially my brother who has a great sense of style, I decided to do so!

Like girls, guys of course have a lot of trends to follow, but in my opinion they are much more true to their personality than women are.

They seem to find a style that fits their personality when they’re young and they stick to it; the rock n’ roller, the sports lover, the nerd, the suit, the hippie… Which can also make it hard for them to see what else is out there in the fashion world…

This post is going to be about t-shirt, shirts and jackets that will make any girl look twice… And for starters let’s take a look at one of the best-dressed celebrities; the very handsome actor/writer/student/director, James Franco. Here’s what he does right:

Guys actually have it pretty easy – they put on a nice shirt, a pair of pants and they’re ready to go… One of the best choices when it comes to shirts is check/gingham:

Here is James Franco rocking gingham. A shirt like this will make any outfit more stylish and fresh. If you’re in a hurry and don’t have time to speculate about what to wear (which you probably wouldn’t do even if you had time, because you’re a man) you’ll never get it wrong with wearing a check or a gingham shirt and a pair of dark jeans. The other day I saw a guy wearing a t-shirt with three naked girls wrapped with ribbons and surrounded by presents – not cute! Zac Efron on the other hand looks great in his black/white choice…

The Jacket

When it comes to jackets, men have a lot of choices; trench coats, bomber jackets, denim jackets, coats… As long as the jacket fits you, you’ll be okay… And of course a leather jacket like the one on James Franco in the picture above always works! Other hot jackets for men for a chilly evening (if there is such a thing anywhere in the world this crazy hot summer) include a blazer and the baseball jacket, both from Asos:

I usually go for a little more make-up in the evening and some shinier accessories, as high heels are always on my feet!

10. iPod Touch – So you can relax to some music, but also satisfy your need to check your email, Twitter, Facebook or what not. We are after all 2010 human beings – we relax doing that kind of stuff!

11. Compact Mirror - Just to make sure you don’t have a sunscreen mustache!

12. Hair Brush – The salty water really makes your hair tangled, so make sure you brush it when you get out of the water!

13. Small Wallet for your coins – no need to bring all your cards to the beach – you surely won’t need your library card! Better to leave them safe at home!
