O meglio Pizzo, Ti adoro! E per la terza volta partecipo con piacere ad un evento di post a tema organizzato dalla sempre più agguerrita gang di ITFB.

Tutto questo tripudio di pizzo e macramè cade a fagiolo, in tema con la notizia che finalmente posso darvi, dopo mesi di segreti e estenuanti ore di lavoro dietro le quinte: è nato DeliGlam!

Questo piccolo progetto, di cui Vi ho accennato in alcuni post precedenti, mi sta molto a cuore: DeliGlam nasce da due amiche, davanti ad un caffè, nel bar di un borgo medievale, in un pomeriggio d'estate.

Il filo conduttore della web boutique è il divertimento, l'ironia ed una sana dose di vintage. L'estetica e il way of living alla base dello shop si basano su pochi ma precisi valori, che abbiamo pensato di sintetizzare in un breve video - Manifesto, che dipingesse con leggerezza la nostra visione della vita.

Ora sono curiosa di sapere cosa ne pensate, quindi aspetto con ansia e tanto orgoglio i Vostri commenti! C'mon girls, let's shop vintage online!

Carmen & Fantasio (11, Larsbjørnsstræde): great selection of girly vintage pieces, accessories, little coats and furs. Haori and kimonos with the greatest patterns and delicate colors. Vintage inspired retro headband made by the lovely owner. In the city center (Stroget) near Studiestraede. Carmen (7, Larsbjørnsstræde): less selected pieces than the previous one, the owner is the same. But you can find rare gems browsing in the corners. The Second Way (15, Studiestræde): lots of american pieces, not my favourite kind of vintage store. Huge amount of cheap things, but the quality is hard to find. Very commercial. København K (32B, Studiestræde): nothing special. Good selection of shoes and bags, a little bit pricey. RetroSales.dk (47, Sankt Peders Stræde): see above. Genbrug (71, Versterbrogaede): one of the best vintage shops I've ever been in. And super cheap. Gorgeus dresses, furs and shearling coats. And the prices are based on the pieces weight. I bought 4 dresses for less than 20 €. Amazing.

La proprietaria vende all'interno anche una collezione di ispirazione vintage di cerchielli e cappellini anni 30. Carmen (7, Larsbjørnsstræde): pezzi meno selezionati rispetto al precedente, stessa proprietaria. Ma si possono trovare gemme rare nascoste negli angoli. The second way (15, Studiestræde): un sacco di pezzi americani, non il mio genere preferito di negozio vintage. Enorme quantità di cose a buon mercato, ma la qualitàè difficile da trovare. Molto commerciale. København K (32B, Studiestræde): niente di speciale.Buona selezione di scarpe eborse, un po 'costoso. Retro Sales (47, Sankt Peders Stræde): vedi sopra. Genbrug (71, Versterbrogaede): uno dei migliori negozi vintage che io abbia maistato dentro e super conveniente. Abiti carinissimi, pellicce e cappotti in montone. E i prezzi sono calcolati sulla base del peso degli abiti. Ho comprato 4 vestiti per meno di 20 €.

Maxi dress vol. 2

A brevissimo, un bel post ricco ricco di indirizzi interessanti interamente dedicato alla capitale danese.

Vi lascio con queste immagini risalenti ai primi giorni di autunno, in cui vedete la mia amica Paola che indossa uno dei maxi abiti della collezione H&M che hanno letteralmente SPOPOLATO questa stagione.

La versione nera lunga fino ai piedi si è vista in ogni fashion blog del globo terracqueo, ChicMuse e Style Scrapbook in primis, e devo ammettere che trovo questi modelli molto riusciti.

Amo la semplicità della linea, la comodità del tessuto iper elasticizzato, e la sensazione di poterci passare dentro un pomeriggio intero accoccolata sul divano a sfogliare un giornale, bere una tazza di te e addirittura schiacciarci un pisolino da quanto è comodo.

Vi ricordate la domanda che vi avevo posto qualche mese fa?

Direi che la risposta è DECISAMENTE SI'.

P.S. A proposito della mia amica Paola, è con lei che sto collaborando per un progettino niente male (-ino per modo di dire) di cui vi potrò parlare nei prossimi mesi..

Here a sweet memory of the first days of Autumn, with my friend Paola wearing a H&M striped maxi dress.

These kind of dresses have been a must have of this H&M AW Collection, they've been worn by every single fashion blogger on the planet, from ChicMuse to StyleScrapbook, and I actually love them, they look so comfy and feminine at the same time.

They make me think about cozy afternoons spent on the sofa, browsing magazines and even taking a nap.

Do you remember what I've asked you two months ago?

I guess the answer is DEFENETELY YES.

Contradiction vol.2: fur+sandals

Questa deliziosa ragazza newyorkese era a Padova a caccia di una stola di pelliccia per il suo matrimonio.

A ottobre Nicole ha sposato il suo boyfriend italiano, originario della provincia di Treviso.

Insieme a lei una altrettanto carina amica americana.

Entrambe allucinate dall'essere state fermate per delle foto di street style... E io che pensavo che i newyorkesi non si stupissero più di nulla!

E voi cosa ne pensate delle pellicce?

Io sono da sempre combattutissima al riguardo:da un lato la mia coscienza animalista si schifa profondamente alla sola idea dei poveri animaletti scuoiati, ancora peggio nel caso dei pellicciotti in lapin ... (poveri coniglietti!); dall'altro lato ho sempre trovato le pellicce vintage essenziali ed insostituibili nelle giornate invernali.

Dilemma etico-estetico.

Non ne verrò mai a capo, temo.

Amo quando la moda si fonde con la tradizione.

Il kimono ( letteralmente cosa da indossare, abito) è un indumento tradizionale giapponese divenuto il costume nazionale giapponese.

In realtà quello che vedete indossato da Elena in queste foto non è un kimono, capo unisex caratterizzato dalla lunghezza alle caviglie, ma un haori.

Realizzato con lo stesso tessuto e con tecniche analoghe al più noto kimono, l'haori è un leggero soprabito dalle lunghe maniche che viene di solito indossato sopra al kimono.

Nato come capo squisitamente maschile, dall'epoca Edo si è diffuso anche tra le donne.

Ultimamente mi è capitato spesso di notare splendidi esempi di kimono o haori portati con naturalezza da donne eccentriche e non, e mi sono scoperta a sognarne uno, in seta chiara, vintage, dipinto a piccoli fiori delicati....esisterà?

Io mi porto avanti e inizio a segnarlo sulla lettera per Babbo Natale...

In reality, what you see worn by Elena in these photos is not a kimono,which is unisex and characterized by the ankle length, but a haori.

Made with the same fabric and similar techniques of the most famous kimono, the haori is a light coat of many colors that is usually worn over the kimono.

Born as a purely male piece, from the Edo age it has also spread among women.

Lately I've often noted wonderful examples of kimono or haori worn by women, eccentric and not and I've found myself dreaming about a pale silk one, with a pattern of delicate tiny flowers..Will it really exsist?

It has just become the very first item of my Santa Claus wishlist...Christmas is not so far!

The most notable feature of the Chelsea boot is its elastic siding, running from the heel to the top of the shoe.

Chelsea boots are tight-fitting, ankle-high boots that originated in the Victorian era, and were originally associated with horse riding.

Charles Goodyear's development of vulcanised rubber enabled Sparkes-Hall, bootmaker to Queen Victoria, to invent the elastic gusset boot in 1837.

The advantage of elasticated boots meant they could be easily removed and put on again.

Chelsea boots were considered an element of the 1960s mod scene, and they have recently become in fashion again amongst men as well as women.

Gli stivaletti cd. "Chelsea" sono caratterizzati dalla forma stretta, affusolata ed aderente al piede, dall'altezza alla caviglia e, soprattutto, dalla banda elastica laterale che permette di toglierli e metterli comodamente.

Sono nati nel 1837, per mano di Sparkes-Hall, calzolaio della Regina Vittoria, che decise di applicare alle calzature la cd. "gomma vulcanizzata" scoperta da Charles Goodyear pochi anni prima.

Esplosi nuovamente nella swinging London degli anni 60, i Chelsea boots sono oggi tornati a spopolare tra uomini e donne.

Ho sempre amato le contraddizioni, i contrasti.

Soprattutto quando sono inaspettati.

Forse perché anch'io, come tutti del resto, ne sono piena.

E la stessa magia che da sempre mi ha attratto verso improbabili ossimori, diaboliche antinomie, impossibili scale di Escher e, soprattutto, verso la cioccolato al sale marino, mi ha stregato quando ho visto questa ragazza.

Il contrasto tra il carattere tribale e ribelle dei dreadlocks e degli orecchini in ebano da un lato e l'iper femminile, delicato e bon ton abito vintage dall'altro mi ha lasciata senza parole.

E voi cosa ne pensate?

I've always loved contradictions and contrasts. Especially when they are unexpected. Perhaps because I'm full of them, like everyone else I guess. And I've been fascinated by the lady capted in these pictures by the same "magic thing" that attracted me to improbable oxymorons, diabolical contradictions, impossible Escher stairs and expecially to the dark chocolate with sea salt. The contrast between tribal and rebel dreadlocks and earrings on one side and the ultra-feminine, delicate vintage dress on the other hand has left me speechless. What do you think about fashion contradictions?

La città é magnifica e lo stile scandinavo é sempre fonte di grande ispirazione.

In the last winter, the first signs. Now is evident: the combat boots are back in the spotlight, no longer relegated to the wardrobe of new punks and grungy nostalgics, they are the protagonists of the street. Seen wore by lovely and girly ladies like as the red Swedish of these photos.

I've always been charmed by this kind of shoes, so I took advantage of my little Swedish vacation and I immediately bought this pair from Urban Outfitters.

As an alternative to the classic model inspired by the original boots of American soldiers, this version is a little bit more british and polished, decorated with leather fringes .

Another possibility are the legendary Dr. Martens. The brand offers now a huge range of particolar models, such as the one with a pattern inspired by vintage wallpaper.

Do you love combat or not?

Se ne erano già avvertite le prime avvisaglie lo scorso autunno-inverno, ma ormai é manifesto: gli anfibi sono tornati alla ribalta, non più relegati ai guardaroba dei new punk e dei nostalgici dell'era grunge, sono protagonisti delle strade ai piedi di avvenenti e femminilissime fanciulle come la rossa svedesina di queste foto.

Io, da sempre facile preda del loro fascino, ho approfittato della mia breve vacanza nella capitale svedese per procurarmene subito un paio da Urban Outfitters.

Alternativa al classico modello ispirato agli originali boots dei soldati americani, questa variante è un po' più british e lavorata, decorata con frange in pelle tono su tono.

Altra possibilità, i mitici Dr. Martens, che propongono oggi anche modelli dalle fantasie insolite ed accattivanti, come quello ispirato alle stampe della carta da parati degli anni 40.

I maxi abiti, ariosi e leggeri o avvolgenti ed essenziali, sono stati uno dei trend dell’ormai (SIGH!) passata stagione estiva.

Ma con l’autunno alle porte, quale sarà il destino degli abiti lunghi?

Finiranno dimenticati in soffitta, fenomeno relegato alla bella stagione, o la lunghezza alla caviglia sarà ancora protagonista di strade e passerelle, declinata in nuove tessuti e sfumature per adattarla alla pioggia e alle gelate invernali?

In attesa della risposta , ecco intanto qualche splendido esempio di maxi dress estivo e di long dress invernale: la fashion stylist russa Vika Gazinskaya in uno splendido abito a fantasia geometrica, la top model Ajak Deng in macro abito fiorito, la fashion stylist australiana Kit Willow in rigoroso black dress, la fashion blogger Denni di TheChicMuse in maxi dress bicolor e uno splendido scatto di The Sartorialist.

Come già sapete io sono innamorata degli abiti lunghi quindi spero proprio che sopravvivano al cambio di stagione!

Harem pants are not the Evil

I cosiddetti "harem pants" sono pantaloni lunghi caratterizzati da un taglio particolare, più stretto intorno alle caviglie e al polpaccio, morbido e voluminoso nella parte superiore e dal cavallo estremamente basso, con un effetto finale a metà strada tra una gonna e dei normali pantaloni.

Come si intuisce dal nome, questi pantaloni sono originari dell'Asia Sud-Occidentale: conosciuti con il nome di "salvars" , costituiscono da secoli uno degli indumenti tradizionali più diffusi e utilizzati sia dagli uomini che dalle donne.

Introdotti nella cultura occidentale intorno al 1850, questi pantaloni venivano indossati dalle donne più progressiste dell'epoca sotto gli abiti durante lo svolgimento delle attività più fisiche e sportive (cd. "bloomers")

Gli harem pants rimasero relegati al settore dell'abbigliamento sportivo femminile fino alla fine degli anni 80, quando furono portati alla ribalta dal rapper americano MC Hammer, che li rese il capo culto simbolo del decennio. A partire dall'Autunno-Inverno 2009, gli harem pants hanno fatto il loro ritorno sulle passerelle. Rielaborati nella forma, nei tessuti e nei colori, slanciati da tacchi vertiginosi ed abbinati agli scolpitissimi e geometrici blazer di Balmain, le cui spalline esagerate sono diventate il simbolo della stagione, gli harem pants sono stati trasformati in un capo chic ed elegante, sexy e femminile. Per la loro particolarità gli harem pants hanno diviso fashioniste e operatori della moda, collezionando, accanto ad entusiasti fans, spietati detrattori che li considerano morificanti per la figura e poco femminili. Personalmente trovo che questi pantaloni siano un ottimo compromesso tra comodità ed eleganza e che nelle ultime versioni, che sfruttano stoffe a fantasia e ultra leggere, possano dare consistenza anche agli outfit più semplici, come quello della ragazza che vedete ritratta in queste foto. In my opinion these pants are a good compromise between confort and elegance and the last version, made up of patterned and extra light fabrics, can defenetely make an outfit, as you can see in the pictures of this post. The Panama Hat

Il cosiddetto "Panama" è un tradizionale cappello a tesa rigida di origine ecuadoriana: ricavato dall'artigianale intreccio delle foglie di una pianta locale (toquilla), prende il nome non dal Paese d'origine ma dal luogo in cui i cappelli erano, già nel tardo XIX° secolo, smistate per le varie destinazioni, Asia, America e Europa.

Il modello fu reso celebre dal Presidente americano Theodore Roosevelt che lo indossò durante una visita proprio al canale di Panama. Il tempo passa, ma il Panama resta.

Eccolo qui in una versione attualissima, abbinato a skinny jeans e ad una delle tante versioni dei sandali con lacci, spuntati un po' dappertutto negli ultimi mesi e che avete già visto su Fashion Trotter qui e qui.

The Panama hat is a traditional brimmed hat of Ecuadorian origin: made up of leaves of a local plant (toquilla), the hat takes its name not from the country of origin but from the place where the hats were sorted for different destinations, like as Asia, America and Europe. The model was made famous by U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt wore it during his visit to the Panama Canal. Time goes by, but Panama holds on. Here you can see a very modern version of Panama hat matched with skinny jeans and a pair of laced up sandals already seen here and here.
