I guess you’ve already overdosed with Galliano face in your news feeds these days? I’ll save you from it. All I want to say is that this scandal seems to be too far-fetched, smells like a well-acted PR for Dior. Drunk Galliano just gave an appropriate occasion to sack him. As a result – Dior rises its reputation and client loyalty, Galliano is out, but who cares? Cruel game. Don’t you think that if Dior really needed Galliano on board it would allow this scandal to be spreaded and savoured by all medias?

I remember that day a year ago. I was sitting just like now in front of my Macbook, chating on skype, surfing the net, checking the news when one of my closest friends sent me a link without saying a word. It was about McQueen’s death…

First I thought it couldn’t be true, but when his wikipedia page were uploaded for the date of death I started to cry. For me his death signified the end of Fashion. Then socilites started to pay tribute to Lee saying clichés like: ‘He was a genius, such a big loss’. There is no word to express McQueen’s genius! Some people who I admired really disappointed me. Karl Lagerfeld said: ‘There was always some attraction to death, his designs were sometimes dehumanised. Who knows, perhaps after flirting with death too often, death attracts you.’ WTF?

I remember myself eagerly reading an interview with George Forsyth, McQueen’s ex-‘husband’. This article really opened my eyes. You should read it if you haven’t yet. George said: ‘Everybody wanted to be with Lee. He was the hottest ticket in town. But I noticed that in the fashion world there were very few people who said, “There’s someone who needs looking after.” There were a few people there who were genuinely good friends and who genuinely loved Lee. Issy Blow, who discovered him, was one. Annabelle, Shaun and Naomi were true, true friends too. But I’ve got no time for Kate Moss. To be honest, I found Kate rude – and Sadie Frost too. After Lee and I split up, I saw Kate in the street and shouted out to her. She gave me a dirty look and just blanked me.’

His last collection were shown in Paris on 9th of March and consisted of 16 outfits which had been 80 percent finished at the time of his death. His right hand Sarah Burton said: ‘He was looking at the art of the Dark Ages, but finding light and beauty in it. He was coming in every day, draping and cutting pieces on the stand.’

Later the Gucci group has appointed Sarah Burton as creative director at Alexander McQueen. Ironically at that time I was watching a documentary about Versace’s death. There were a small interview with Lee McQueen where he said: ‘I don’t know how somebody can take a place of designer after his death, for me designer is his fashion house. I don’t want Alexander Mcqueen to exist after my death’.

I put a picture of Lee on my table. Sometimes people who are not familiar with fashion ask me:  ‘Is that your boyfriend?’ I just smile. If Fashion is my boyfriend then my answer is ‘yes’.

My favorite model Freja Beha Erichsen knows how to perfectly convey the spirit of wealth, what  jewelry brands expect from her. Appeared in Harry Winston F/W 2010 campaign she totaly disarmed us with her dazzle smile revealing the other side of her modeling talent. And now we see her in a new campaign of a Danish brand Georg Jensen. Enjoy!

Love magazine’s latest cover where Kate Moss kisses transgender model Lea T inspired me to write this post. Lately I’ve started to notice more and more models whose gender I can hardly recognize. And I like it!

This pretty blonde’s name is Andrej Pejic. He’s a 19-year-old model from Australia. His father is Croatian, mother is Serbian. You can see him in the new S/S 2011 ad campaigns by Jean Paul Gaultier (kissing Karolina Kurkova) and Marc by Marc Jacobs (alongside Ginta Lapina). What a beauty! He’s the hottest male/female model for the moment!

Danila Polyakov (on the left), maybe the most famous Russian male model is 27 years old. Has worked for John Galliano, Ann Demeulemeester, Jean Paul Gaultier, Richmond, Denis Simachev. Today he’s better known as a socialite and party freak.

Lea T, the most discussed model at the moment. Discovered by Riccardo Tisci she posed in Givenchy F/W 2010 ad campaign alongside Mariacarla Boscono, Malgosia Bela and Joan Smalls.

Carine Roitfeld couldn’t miss this controversial phenomenon and published a nude photo of Lea T in Vogue Paris. Anyway in my opinion Lea T looks much better and more feminine than Jamie Bochert and after a sex change surgery which Lea’s planning to do she’ll be on the top.

Well, I’m not a sanctimonious person, but I think this is too much. On the other hand I loved Vogue Paris for its scandalousness. It was always standing on the edge. And I love Emmanuelle Alt for her flawless style, so I’m exciting and looking forward to see the new edition. For now I leave you with those adorable kids and your reflections.

About two months ago I met Alexey Gabilo, we were drinking coffee and talking. He said the upcoming collection would be made of unusual materials like meteorites splinters and rare minerals. I was so impressed by his stories and his enthusiasm as well as his previous collections so I was looking forward to see the new one.

This is a strong collaboration for H&M, I have to admit it, but I’ve also seen and touched every piece from this collection and this is the case when you pay for design only. I’d rather save those 200 euro to buy some genuine Lanvin thing.

But! I really like sunglasses and that dark green tulle dress as well as metallic blue mens shoes. Who’s last in the queue? Get ready on 23rd of November!
