the weather has been crazy this entire month! it’s bright and shining for a moment and pouring the next. outdoor photographing has been made such a challenge due to the untimely rain. i am finding myself, more and more, wandering aimlessly in some mall these days when am actually all prep up for a great outdoor photo session. you will know what i mean from this post..haha..time out from the shoot. lunching and then shooting some bad asses at the arcade, due to the not so cooperative rain clouds.

well, enough of the weather. am here also sharing one of the latest additions to my wardrobe – the safari shirt…so casual and relax, just the way i like it. will be launching it online next week as i will be away. so just a quick shout out too that TWFS showroom at Ubi will be closed this Thursday and next Monday and reopen on 1st Dec’2011.

this has been my uniform for the last couple of days. totally in love with the softness of the tank that have me alternating between these 3 colors, layered with a cardigan and a pair of jeans/shorts wherever i go. it’s simple, clean and very comfortable, that’s why am hearting it so much. well, great things are meant to be shared and yes! they are making their way to TWFS store – both online & at the showroom soon!

so that’s me in “Creamy” tank in grey chilling along Singapore river after a day’s work. (pardon the low quality picture as it’s an impromptu shot taken with my phone). and before i wrapped up this post, i would like to share this product which pertains to the beautifying of the hair. have been using it for the last three days and think it has worked pretty well on my frizzy ends. so here’s sharing with my readers whom may face the same problem that i have due to the “over-feeding” of our hair with chemical. hope it will work as well for you as it is for me, available at Watson.

sharing one of the latest additions to my wardrobe which will also be made available in twfs new launch. totally loves how the drape falls nicely into place without any adjustment required. a sassy & relaxing piece which i think will work well with denim shorts or perhaps a slim maxi skirt too.

and yes! here’s also the final glimpse of what’s done up at my new online store before the launch in a couple of days time. this denim blue halter dress was taken before i left for my trip. a lovely piece of maxi yet in another style. some customers have asked if it’s available for sale. it was but it’s currently sold out at the showroom. am working at the moment to have it manufactured in more sizes and shall keep all in the loop once it’s available again!

well now that am back with lotsa of goodies to be launched..i will be working twice as hard over the weekend and hopefully the soft launch of thewildflowershop.com will just be a couple days away! yippeee…

i know i have been so lag in updating my blog : ( besides bad time management, frankly i have not been out much. The month of August was filled with project after project. And while am blogging, i just realized it’s the last day of august! thank god am ninety percent done with what’s on hand and hopefully my schedule will get back on track.

Meanwhile,if you have popped in to the wildflowershop.com, you will see that the site finally has a new coat of paint! we are still making some fine tuning to the site but it should be ready for the new launch which has been planned in September. To all TWFS fans, sorry for the long wait but be sure to tune in to some great promos during the launch. and here’s some previews to what’s coming up!

i love wearing shorts; not because i have nice legs but i seriously think they make me look taller. So, this is what i wore to town today (my FAV sugar lips oversize tee and the new floral heels from twfs); after waking up and feeling the need to get out of the house as i was totally bored. well, good thing is this hit me only once in a while and i know just about the right cure for it.

here’s sharing some of the many delights that welcome me along the road of orchard. the beautiful display at Massimo Dutti, the count down to the opening of A & F (heard from a friend that all the sale staffs will supposedly look as good as the poster..OMFG! what eye candy!) and of course, my favourite pastry from Cedele! at the end of the day, am a happy woman!

they served the "”best-est” food on this little island of lanta. it’s a small by the road side rustic store which could easily be missed if one wasn't looking hard enough. well, good thing is that i was looking and quite hard indeed, as most of the stores seemed closed. Even if there were opened for business, i couldn’t quite tell. it’s low season when i visited and most places were quite deserted and empty without travellers.

Loving the simple decor and earthy feel this place exudes. Leaving me a little intrigued at the creativity that was being showcased on this part of the island, so old-world and rugged yet so pretty. giving me a little inspiration and am so glad i was there.

i love the ocean i love the clear blue sky, above it all, i love the tranquility and carefreeness that this little island brings. it wasn’t planned to be, but my stay has been extended for another two more days, a decision made with some internal struggles. however my mind was weak and my heart was even weaker, i was easily swayed by the serene settings and beautiful sunrises. to enjoy yet another day of being a free spirit, a way of life easily forgotten when put back on track.

well for some quick updates, the photos for the new launch is almost completed! loving the outdoor shoots but am now close to four tones darker! hmm…makes me wonder if it’s just me or the sunblock’s ain’t working..at SPF 50?! oh well, if u know of some brand that works great on you, do drop me a note! so that i can have both sunshine and fairness going hand in hand, without worrying i will awake to looking like an african-american.

the sale finally came to an end. knowing my mind, body & soul may be in need of some form of recharge, i will be off for a week to yet another island. nevertheless, it’s not purely a getaway this time round, will be lugging some new pieces along as the thought of getting some serious outdoor shoots done has been lingering long enough. may it all turn out well and i shall return to some awesome launches!

haven been able to do much lately due to the ongoing SALE at twfs showroom. nevertheless, just a quick update that all is well. many thanks to all the customers whom came to support and hope everyone is enjoying their new “buys”. as am glued to the showroom at the moment, launch of the new collection will only be in july. in plan to do some outdoor shoots for the launch during my upcoming break. fingers crossed on the outcome but am definitely looking forward to it!

yellow, one of the colours that has been making its way into my wardrobe. loves the summery tone & the brightness that highlights happiness & cheery-ness. this top has since made its debut in twfs collection 31 and am so keeping em’ in all the four shades. these pictures were taken a while back during my last day in hong kong. since back, i have been busy with the preparation of twfs warehouse sale and hence the lack of update. well, the sale is still on and there’s lots more in store, including these mustard clogs, available in black and orange too! so hope to see you ladies coming around.

it’s great to be finally back! seems to have been away for eternity despite being just a mere eleven days abroad. a thousand of apologies to all the ladies whom popped by the showroom while i was out of town. made me realized notices on facebook is not all that it is. will be putting up away notices on my site next time when am on hiatus.

a fruitful trip with lots to share in the upcoming collections. shall be show casing some of the outfits here prior to their launches. managed to wrap things up with some R & R in hong kong. though not a big fan of all the hustle & bustle, am contented to finally have my hair fixed, stocked up on make up necessities and of course, taking tons of pictures on the ever interesting landscape.

in love with this light weight knit that provokes both a sense of sassiness & ruggedness…the slashes that rips so naturally without going overboard. and to all ladies who are always caught between looking fashionable & having a sense of comfort, think i may have got the solution. these heeled clogs are almost my most used pair during my days away. despite the height, they are definitely easy on the feet..definitely a pair worth getting…

need for speed

that’s the reason i signed up – scirocco ladies day, for a once in a lifetime experience to race on the F1 track. not knowing what to expect, i braced myself for the event, amidst much skepticism mixed with tinge of nervousness & excitement all in. after all, am a law abiding citizen who barely drive beyond this city’s speed limit. ten minutes into the event after the circuit briefing and very much to my relief, i was glad to know i do not have to risk my life racing like the pros. it was more like taking this sexy creature out for a spin! I did the S-course, dash through the hundred and fifty meter destinated race track and tested the agility of the car, it was, in my own word - A “fabu-licious” experience! least to my expectation, i timed pretty decent for the dash. though not fast enough to top the chart, it was to my personal satisfaction and am already yearning for more! SPEED!

kudos to volkswagen for such a fun-filled ladies only event. do consider having more of such! and here’s me all decked out in twfs pieces. one of my favouritest casual outfits – eva ruffles in blue and my most comfy and reliable mustard loafers. loves how the colour pops, bringing the entire outfit to life!

hi-tea at sheraton , a place my family frequents a fair number of times. not so much for its spread but the ambience that’s great for catching up a little. against the lush greenery and waterfall that add a touch of wilderness to the already cozy dining hall.

it was a whole day affair and i was definitely glad to be dressed up in style & comfort in my favourite neutral shades of colours. totally into this oversize outer piece that’s ideal for layering with tank and almost perfect under such unbearable heat these days. Gonna be launching it soon in the next coming collection but i just can’t wait but to showcase it here first.

received a lovely surprise today at my doorstep. a beautiful bouquet from my sister dearest. a thankful note for lending her my ears and support as things have been pretty rough lately. everything’s ok now and am totally loving these flowers..freshness & vibrancy…they truly brighten up my day!

after which i headed out for a lunch date with my beau. wearing for the 2nd time – carissa in cream from twfs collection 29. it’s a asymmetrical long top and am wearing it with shorts, so as to portray the image of a mini dress. definitely a sassier look and giving the illusion of endless legs which works great for me! who have always wanted to add a few more cm to my height. available in 3 pretty colours, am keeping em’ all for this design!

finally have some spare time to run my errands, after working hard on the new arrival launches. parkway parade, suntec, tras street, ikea, changi airport then home finally...that’s the number of places i visited today! no wonder am beat! but very much pleased with myself for getting things done and striking em’ off my to-do list…was caught in the rain a little and there i was waiting for it to stop.

here’s wearing the latest addition to my wardrobe, a light weight maxi..so flowy and totally provoking a sense of sassiness. fell in love with the side slits & the dress entirely and happy that i got it both in black and grey. shall be sharing em’ in my store soon..yippee!! and yes long weekend is just around the corner and am glad to announce that twfs showroom at ubi will be opening its door on monday the 2nd of may from 1200 - 1730. so do pop by if you weren't able to make it on the usual monday & thursday, and i hope to see you around!

so am really eager to share the many styles that i personally like from the upcoming launches and hope every of my customers will share this same sentiment too. while waiting to get work started on collection 28…i decided to give this latest addition to my wardrobe a proper review - the peep-toe heels. can’t really believe how easy they are on my feet, that is only after I’ve tried em’ on. the material is truly comfy and with a bit of stretch quality, they wrapped around my feet snugly providing em’ with the necessary care and support . Though not a big fan of high heels, I felt that I could possibility walk in these all day long without bruises thereafter! Having seen these in fashion magazines and worn by a couple of popular fashion bloggers, I know I have made an informed choice in getting it and am so glad to be able to share this with all soon!

a week away and great to have experienced once again the cool weather which i do not get back home. giving me a chance to play with layers at a temperature of fifteen degree. touching down just a couple days back, can’t really believe that a quarter of 2011 has just flew me by. penning down the many plans for twfs, helps in preventing myself from getting flustered knowing that there’s a million things waiting. a mini revamp to be done at the showroom to cater to the many new styles that have found their home here, a new online site for a more pleasant shopping experience for my dear customers and of course the many collections coming up…wish all could be done at a snap of my fingers. but NOT! so time to get working and hope all will be in place soon enough.

be away for a week in preparation for twfs collection launches in april…really excited and hope to return with tons of goodies. show-casing the outfit that am wearing tomorrow! something which is suitable for cooler weather, and am so very glad that am finally able to put the timberland to good use…

so while am away, my mum is meeting up with one of my favourite heavenly kings, andy lau! wooohooo..am full of envy. and all this is happening because i have nominated my mum to be OSIM Super Mum! didn’t expect to be chosen but am absolutely delighted that she’s one of the 30 mums picked to see the celebrity up close. i share her excitement and so very much wish i could be there too…who wouldn’t?

love neutral colours. find em’ extremely classy and versatile and they are one of the hottest trends this year. over the years, my wardrobe has accumulated pieces made up mainly of white, cream, tan, grey and khaki…simply adore the soft look created when i put these magical nude tones together. feel they make eternal fashion staples and are great for layering too. so when decision has to be made when manufacturing this drape outer piece, it wasn’t a tough choice for me. i went for the tan and was ever so glad that i did.
