Story time! I tell my birth story. My hospital stay, complications and how much it cost to have my baby in the United States.

Am I a medical anomaly? This is my first child and the pregnancy was great, but the birth and after birth are not what I thought it would be like. Buckle in, it's story time!

Some pieces I got at Goodwill, some from Rhea Lana, but most are from Target (Isabel Maternity and the Nines by Hatch).

All pieces were under $40.

This is my digital look book of my favorite maternity looks, both professional maternity dresses and casual looks.

It's August so it is HOT, but I found the shorts at goodwill for about $5.

If you are thrifting your maternity shorts/pants, an easy way to find maternity clothes is to look at the top of the pants/shorts. They will have the stretchy band!

Week 38 of my first pregnancy, 2 weeks to go!

How we were able to get pregnant after trying for more than 3 years - Clear Blue, thank you!

I have gestational diabetes, but I am managing it through food and exercise.

My heartburn is crazy while pregnant! I'm in love with the berry Pepcid.

I had my baby shower and forgot to talk about it in my last video. I made a balloon arch that my Best Friend, Sarah & her mom Carol found on Amazon. It was so easy to make!! It is from @ShimmerAndConfetti on IG. I received so many good gifts! We had raffles for guests who brought diapers and bottles. Got so many diapers!!

My Aunt Ginny made an adorable little closet/bin and a diaper cake and my Cousin Stephanie made a Elephant out of diapers with a pacifier as the tail! Sooooo cute!

All I got from the Rhea Lana Sale - I saved nearly $1,000 on baby items. We scored a car seat, stroller, and extra base for about $155, and it retails for $485!! Also got a Doc-a-tot, swan lamp, maternity dresses, baby monitor, books, and a nursing pillow.

Got more dye to tie dye while I'm on maternity leave. It is on sale from $25 down to $10! Run and get the bucket from Michaels!!

Week 33 of my first pregnancy, 7 weeks to go! Third trimester!

Went garage sale-ing and found a bassinet, but the lady gave me two car seats, they are expired though. (They expire every 7 years). Not a problem, because I can trade them into Target or Walmart during an event and get either a 20% off coupon or $30 gift card.

My Grandma came to me in a dream and said my baby will be 2 weeks early...we will see!

I had to get slip-on Velcro slides. Found some Champion slides at Costco for $15 and got a black pair and a white pair. Found them later at Footlocker for $35-40!

My feet have been swelling so I had to get some compression socks. It has really helped the swelling! I have gestational diabetes, and it is not fun to have to pass by the delicious cookies and treats, but I have to!

I thought I was having Braxton Hicks contractions, but it turns out it is my Round Ligament...

Also, two other Rhea Lana sales are happening in my area soon, I will let you know what I get!

My husband got me the LeSportSac Diaper Bag by Rifle Paper Co, and I love it!!

How we finally were able to get pregnant after 3 YEARS of trying - what we used to make it happen! Do not give up! I'm 36 and was able to finally get pregnant. Where I find maternity clothes... I went thrifting to find good, inexpensive maternity clothes and found good deals on designer maternity jeans like Pea in the Pod, 7 for all Mankind and Citizens of Humanity. Tips for what to get: Bra extenders, prenatal vitamins, how to combat nausea / morning sickness. New Laundry Room Storage - Before and After - Mini Renovation

My Dad and Husband install cabinets in the laundry room - not a total makeover, but I think it is a mini renovation and major upgrade from what was there before.

I can't believe he found these cabinets that were regularly priced at more than $700, and he got them in the clearance area for $300.

Bargain Buy!

He went in to get them, and couldn't find the ones he found online on the shelf, because they were in the CLEARANCE area!!

What a lucky find.

The laundry room looks like it has custom cabinets, now, but they were the cabinets right off the shelf, and perfect for the laundry room.

Great looking storage idea, if you are looking to upgrade your laundry room.

It was a surprise for my Mom, and we let her pick out the hardware, I think she did a great job and picked handles that match really well to the new cabinets.

How much does a home really cost over 30 years?

Thought the condo i was looking at would cost $542,000, after 30 years, will actually, in full, cost $1.2 Million!!!

I looked up how much the interest would be over 30 years at 3% and I am shocked. bankrate.com has an easy Amortization Calculator, which breaks down monthly payments and interest costs, and tells you the total interest you will end up paying. Redfin can estimate for you how much insurance and taxes will cost. Bankrate doesn’t add in Mello Roos, Taxes, or HOA, so I am going to do that here.
