Miroslava Duma Fashion Week Style

I'm obsessing over Miroslava Duma at the moment. She's been one of my favorites this fashion week season. Tommy Ton has captured some wonderful photo ops of Mirosalva Duma's impeccable style from New York, London, to Milan. Her choice of rich colors, patterns, and statement accessories leave me anxiously awaiting the next outfit.

Proenza Schouler Fall 2012 Details

One of the things you can always count on with Proenza Schouler is exquisite detail. Most of the time glancing a runway photo you only notice the color palette or basic design significance. Up close the detail behind this 2012 fall collection of Proenza Schouler is rich in detail from every angle. You get a bit of everything from this line. The quilted texture, leather weaving, embroidery, rugged bicycle leather jackets, yet added with the simplicity of the thick cotton ensembles. Their accessories have always been a favorite of mine. This years leather weaved boots and animal fur handbags are just another affirmation to why I'm a huge fan. Proenza Schouler always somehow makes it all come together with design aspects most wouldn't think of pairing together. Bravo again Jack and Lazaro!

Balenciaga 2012 Fall Runway

I feel like it took forever for Paris fashion week to get here. As soon as New York fashion week gets started I'm always anticipating the Balenciaga show. I even stayed up until 4 am to catch it on live stream. Balenciaga always has such a unique, one of a kind presentation. Their Spring line incorporating the Vadar hats, and who can forget their spring shoe collection. This show they also added some unique appeal; not only in the design aspect but location as well. Nicolas Ghesquiere had his show in a newer built sky scraper this year; which perfectly suited the space age/futuristic looking theme (The Jetson's meet Paris). Before the runway show people were tweeting pictures of fully suited guards, almost looking like you stepped into a episode of Star Trek. This collection is amazing as always. I'm a big fan of the metallic mixed with animal print and electric blue.

Some Tommy Ton Love

Jack & Jil's Tommy Ton is the world's go to for street fashion and fashion photography.

I am fairly new to the blog scene and recently realized how many of my fashion photography favorites saved in my fashion files have been by Tommy Ton. I am a artist/fashion illustrator and when searching for inspiration Jack & Jil is one of my favorite go to's. The way Tommy Ton captured the behind the scenes at the Proenza Schouler 2012 S/S show is nothing more than brilliant. Some of these photos I wish I could purchase considering I'm a die hard Proenza Schouler fan. Tommy Ton's way of capturing this line almost outdid the show.

Oscars Fashion 2012

I'm going to skip the Oscars red carpet, style commentary this time.
Only because this one pictures alone sums it all up.

Gwyneth Paltrow -Tom Ford

The mystery unveiled behind the Tom Ford Fall/Winter 2012 Collection. Who needs a fashion show with a preview like this? None other than Tom Ford. He showed his Fall 2012 collection, private eyes only; dodging the London fashion week chaos. Everything about Gwyneth Paltrow's sleek style, silhouetted caped gown, screams Oscars and best dressed.

Now onto the Oscars Vanity Fair after-party where the fun always begins.

My picks for some of my favorite dresses of the evening. I'm loving the Kates right now: Kate Bosworth in Prabal Gurung, Kate Hudson in Versace, and Kate Beckinsale in Atelier Versace; my three favorite dresses of the Oscar after-parties. You can never go wrong with Proenza Schouler, worn by young actress Shailene Woodley. Claire Danes in Valentino, the perfect shade of pink. Georgina Chapman is simply stunning in her own design. Mr. Tom Ford in Vera Wang looking exceptional, also the designer of the most talked about dress of the night worn by Gweneth Paltrow. Olivia Wilde with a classic look in Rachel Zoe and Zoe Saldana looking stylish as always in Marios Shwab.

This long drape dress is gorgeous and can be dressed up or down, and of course brightened up with the perfect PS1 handbag of choice. Their sandals are the perfect summer shoes for a simple jeans and tee day; or that cozy summer dress. This little black dress is a sure style hit for any party occasion. This is a show stopper of an necklace if I've ever seen one. This beautiful Geometric, gold tone piece by Etro is a one of a kind. A perfect new look piece to glam up any outfit. Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week 2012

Big fan of Nicholas K. this season. The loose, flowing layers; I definitely want to cozy up in this fall. I love how they incorporated a sheik, sophisticated look, yet we still feel that earthy, southweastern vibe. Fringe, gotta love fringe and I am completely into this color palette. I have always been a sucker for western inspired design. Usually, I only have a few key pieces I adore form each collection, but even the Shoes and accessories are about to break my bank. Nicholas K. opened up NYFW, and they couldnt have picked a better choice.

My Net-a-porter shoe picks for SS 2012

Here are some of my favorite shoes for 2012 Spring/Summer. I cant get enough of the Cobra Society boots, check out the different variations on www.net-a-porter.com. The Isabel Marant sneakers are darling and come in some bright colors including electric blue. Loved the Pierre Hardy color blocking, and the other two tone choices. But one of my favorites by far are the Miu Miu snake-effect leather brogues in burgundy and Thakoon.

"Acne A/W 2012 Runway"
Acne was one of my favorites from London Fashion week thus far...

Loving all the color pops! The perfect neon green, orange, and yellow. The belts they incorporated really make for a unique, completed look. I cant wait to see the shoes up close. Acne has been one of my favorites for a while. Always very trendy and sophisticated, yet with a futuristic type vide.
