Military Chic by lbe2409 featuring stamped jewelry

Tips on how to stay military chic for fall 2010:

Buy neutral colors: Stick to army greens and khakis
Don't wear too many military inspired pieces at one time. It is not necessary to be drenched in head- to- toe military inspired pieces. Pick one signature military piece and accessorize around it.
Mix and match feminine pieces with your signature military garment to soften your look.

Fall 2010 Trend Tip of the Day : Leopard Print

2010-09-08T15:27:00.200-04:00

Jungle Fever by lbe2409 featuring leather clutches

The rules for wearing leopard print tastefully:

Don't overdo animal print: Wearing too many leopard print elements makes it appear that you are trying too hard to make a fashion statement and can often look tacky.
Stick to one animal print: Mixing and matching varieties of different leopard prints is not tasteful.
Accessorize with leopard print: If you are not ready to wear large amounts of leopard print, you can always accessorize with a great leopard shoe or bag.

Jessica Simpson

Paris Hilton

Did you know that plaid originated from the Scottish? Different variations and patterns of plaid were used to classify families, institutions, and events of the Scottish people in the 17th century.

Throughout the 1970's plaid was worn and associated with members of the punk era as an anti-establishment symbol.
In the 1990's plaid was worn by teens who were a part of the grungy rock scene.

Now plaid has once again has re-surfaced and is now considered a staple item for Fall 2010.
