After 4 years, the premium Angus Third Pounder Burger line at McDonald's been exiled to the land of misfit toys. After deliberating the last 3 months, McDonald's will drop the burgers nationwide and add onto the Quarter Pounder w/ Cheese line according to Burger Business.
Arby's sandwiches are based on simplicity. Typically one or two ingredients are part of their roast beef sandwiches, with maybe an onion flavored bun to go along. So whenever a chief element, such as the bun is altered drastically, it's definitely worth noting. Enter the new King's Hawaiian Roast Beef and Swiss Sandwich. On a sweet King's Hawaiian bun, a loaded amount of roast beef is accompanied by sweet pickles, swiss cheese, and Djion sauce. Fairly radical for Arby's, but how does it stack up?

Taco Bell's Cantina Bell Menu is about to get some exciting additions. Adding on to the Cantina Burrito and Bowl will be the new Double Steak Quesadilla in July. The quesadilla will be loaded up with pepper jack cheese and Lorena Garcia's new marinaded steak. This bad boy will be served up with new Cantina Salsa and sour cream at $4.99. Should be really interesting to sees how this compares with the standard quesadilla.
Subway's featured footlongs and other deals of the month have been very confusing this year. We've had a couple months of $3 Six Inch Selects, but now in May we have a featured footlong Who really knows what's going on here, but you can get a $5 Meatball Marinara in May. Come to think of it, I was always under the impression that this was a $5 Footlong anyway?

Holy hell, it's May already. Along with a new month, we have a new Blizzard featured for the month. This month is the return of the Choco Peanut Butter Brownie Blizzard. This Blizzard has many of my absolute favorite elements, including brownie pieces, chocolate chunks, and peanut butter. A small order will cost you a whopping 30 grams of fat and 600 plus calories. Read further to see what else DQ is bringing this month!

While the thoughts of Butter Pecan seem to immediately make me think of the elderly, it's popularity as an ice cream flavor for Baskin Robbins. Whenever you search "butter pecan" on the Google, the second item after the Wikipedia article is BR's website. So it only made sense that whenever Dunkin Donuts unveiled their Ice Cream flavor inspired Iced Coffees, Butter Pecan would have been one of the two flavors alongside Mint Chocolate Chip.
As we've posted before, Wendy's is going hard, trying to attract more and more to their late night menu. With the Moonlight Meal Deal starting after 10 pm, and the potential of getting a Double Stack, Chili Cheese Fries, and a large beverage for $5, you'd be hard pressed to find a more decadent meal for the price. But we now have new intel from Wendy's that if you use the term "Guac it Up" when making your order after 10 pm, they will add guacamole to your menu item for free.

In what seems to be a continuing emphasis on healthier options, McDoanald's just released a fresh take on an old classic with the Egg White Delight. Modeled after the old favorite Egg McMuffin, the new sandwich features freshly grilled egg whites, a piece of white cheddar cheese, extra lean canadian bacon, on a toasted English muffin induced with eight whole grains. Read more »

Pizza Hut Delivery App Coming to Xbox Live and Kinect [Report]

With the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group unveiling Dr. Pepper Ten a few years back, diet soda lovers and those on the fence unwilling to try calorie free drinks had reason to rejoice. A better tasting soda was out there and it still had a minuscule ten calories for those counting. In the meantime a faux diet soda industry began with Pepsi Next coming out and pushing the envelope with a 60 calorie drink that was very solid. Things are getting crazy now though with the "Ten" brand expanding exponentially. There are now 5 new additions to the family with 7 UP, Canada Dry, Sunkist, A&W, and RC Ten. Tonight, we'll review RC Ten.
For those of you lucky enough to be near a Chipotle with a liquor license, your weekly trips to the Premium Fast Casual Mexican joint are about to get a lot more exciting. For the 900 restaurants that do sell booze, Margaritas will now be part of the menu starting April 29th. Just in time for Cinco de Mayo.
While there aren't any Jack in the Box's in our corner of the coutnry, it's still okay for us to look in and stare longingly at what they're doing. Case in point, Jack in the Box is bringing back a chicken sandwich which looks pretty darn tasty.

Earlier this month we told you about Chick Fil A's pretty radical menu change with some options dropping while new salads and wraps being added. While we still don't have detailed photos we now have details for you and the salads definitely sound premium. Prices for the salads will be premium priced at $6.79 while the Cool Wrap will go for a solid $4.89.
In what appears to be a yearly tradition, Subway is bringing back a down home BBQ treat for another round. The Smokehouse BBQ Chicken sandwich is back and is the featured $6 Footlong for April. Don't really know why it only gets half of the month to shine, but this ones here for only a limited time.

When KFC unveiled that their big countdown was leading up to Original Recipe Boneless we were greatly intrigued. KFC's Original Recipe spice concoction is a very solid offering and has carried the restaurant for years with it's secret list of herbs and spices. But who wants to eat around those pesky bones? So when the wonders of modern technology have created a way for us to enjoy the tastes and sensations of bone in chicken sans the bone we had it give it a try.
In the ever increasing competition among morning beverages, where the almighty attributes of taste, energy, and preferably low cal wage war, it was only a matter of time until a soda brand threw their hat into the mix. With competition from all different realms, Mountain Dew Kickstart enters with Orange Citrus and Fruit Punch flavors, 5% juice, a boatload of caffeine (92 mg), and only 80 calories all with a slight kick of carbonation. But as far as taste, where does this juice/soda mixture stand?
Sonic, not to be out done by Arby's, is bringing back their Tax Day special on April 15th this year. Happy Hour, which typically lasts only from 2-4pm on a typical day is lasting all day this Monday. Sonic has a legit fleet of drinks with a mess of teas, slushes, and soft drinks, so there are plenty of things to give a try.
While it's pretty easy to assume that most people go to Dairy Queen for their sweet treats, they also have some pretty solid food offerings. I remember pounding a good bit of Chicken Strip baskets during my childhood and I can't seem to resists that buttered toast they have. But what makes things even better is whenever DQ combines both their sweet and savory in one lunch deal, especially whenever it only costs $5.
The Ginger Hill Tavern is the primary “college bar” for
Slippery Rock University. It is a small town with a couple other bars but
Ginger Hill is the one frequented most by the typical “college kid.” They
have daily beer/drink specials and DJs on the weekends. Don’t bother
trying to get near the place on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night while
school is in session. But no matter what, wing nights always have a way of tickling my fancy.

One of the most hazardous orders in fast food, is about to get a little more civilized. Typically, ordering at McDonald's requires you to make an order, awkwardly move over to the side and wait among a wild horde of hungry customers for your food that may or may not ever come. But it seems that this is all about to change according to this WSJ article.
