The Fat Kitties have a few projects on the go at the moment - some under the FK umbrella and some seperate.

We'll keep coy about most projects at the moment, but we can say a short documentary is currently in pre-production, and an application for funding for another short film has recently been submitted. Ooooh the excitement.

Two Fat Kitties are also spending much time writing & playing music with Talulah Does The Hula - all in all, it's been quite the year...

The Athenrides has been selected to screen at Film Pop Festival in Montreal, Canada. It's a music fest, it's an art fest, it's a film fest... it's a lot of things and it looks to be a good lot of FUN

The Athenrides nominated for Film Festival Award

The Athenrides has been officially selected by the 2nd annual Waterford Film Festival. The film has also been nominated for the award of Best 1st Short Film.

The film will be shown as part of the 'Short Programme One' which is screening on Sunday the 9th of November in the Tower Hotel in Waterford City, Ireland.

Athenrides & beyond

So it's been nearly two months since The Athenrides has been flung upon the unsuspecting public and so far we've had some great reactions and viewing numbers! We're now in the process of submitting to festivals and commissioning rounds - so cross your fingers for the girls and help support their cause by spreading the word and increasing those YouTube stats even further.

We're also waiting to hear back from other funding applications for new projects, so it's a big month of waiting on baited breath - cross your fingers AND toes!
