<title>West's demands from Iran, never-ending, ever increasing: Ralph Shoenman</title>
<description>The demands of Western powers regarding Iran's nuclear case are acts of war designed to undermine the Iranian government, which will not come to an end and will continually increase, an analyst says. The comment comes as the Iranian envoy to the UN, Mohammad Khazaei, has lashed out at the warmongering remarks by Israeli officials regarding military strikes against Iran, stating that such comments are a threat to international peace. The recent comments by the Israeli Minister for Military Affairs Ehud Barak and other Tel Aviv officials that threaten Iran with a military assault on its atomic facilities are provocative, illegitimate, against international laws, and strongly condemned, Khazaei wrote in a letter addressed to the members of the UN Security Council. Press TV has conducted an interview with political commentator, Ralph Shoenman, to further shed light on the issue.

<title>Iran: Western media politicizing technical issue in IAEA report</title>
<description>Iran's Ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency has criticized Western media attempts to politicize a normal technical issue in the latest IAEA report on Tehran's nuclear energy program. The latest IAEA report said that the traces of uranium enriched to purities of 27 percent were found at the Fordow site. Ali Asghar Soltanieh on Saturday criticized Western media hype and said "as mentioned in the IAEA report, the issue is a normal technical subject that is being investigated by experts." <title>US accomplice to Bahraini regime's crimes</title>
<description>The Bahraini regime forces backed by troops from Saudi Arabia have once again attacked protesters in the tiny Persian Gulf littoral state. Security forces on Friday fired teargas and sound grenades at the demonstrating crowds in several towns and villages around the Bahraini capital, Manama. Clashes then erupted between government forces and the pro-democracy protesters demanding the ouster of the Al Khalifa regime. Several people were injured during the demonstrations. The protesters also voiced their anger at the US government for its support of the Manama regime. Anti-American sentiments are high in Bahrain after Washington announced earlier this month that it would resume arms sales to Bahrain. However, Bahraini opposition groups and activists condemned the decision, saying it could encourage further human rights violations in the Persian Gulf country. Press TV has conducted an interview with Kamel Wazni, political analyst, to hear his opinion on this issue.

      <title>Egypt's historic presidential election-Middle East Today-05-24-2012</title>
<description>Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood's Mohamed Morsi seems to be leading in the latest count of the polls in the first round of the first popular presidential election in Egypt since the former dictator Hosni Mubarak step down. The next and the final round will most probably be a face-off between Morsi and former Prime minister of Mubarak's regime, Ahmed Shafiq, who seems to be coming in second according to the Muslim Brotherhood's counts. In any case observers believe this is the first step to real popular representation in Egypt. <title>$2.6bn embezzlement case-Iran Today-05-25-2012</title>
<description>The trial of trials, The lord of bribery in the docks The Aria Group case, blatant attack on financial security, The lord of bribery pleads not guilty,12000 page report for 3 trillion tomans embezzlement case. 12000 pages in 33 volumes compiled in just a few months a mountain of evidence for a scandal of gargantuan proportions. Until just recently a monstrous embezzlement operation was in full swing. Only 9 months ago was the lid blown off the scandal and its prime suspects dragged in for questioning. One mistake brought the stack of cards tumbling down about their ears. The case has left a gapping gash in Iran's economy, which will take a lot of stitching to close. The 33 volume indictment has finally been placed on the judge's desk -- what's certain is that the suspects behind the hefty report are no average Joes -- or maybe one of them is. In the year 2005 Maha'farid amir Khosravi was the owner of a cattle farm. Seven years later his business had expanded considerably. He owned 38 major companies, the deeds to 38 factories, was in charge of 18 large scale projects, and when he was finally arrested in 2011, he was in the process of starting up a private bank called Aria. Mr. Amir Khosravi took seven reputable banks and some of the country's most recognized figures down with him. Mohammad Jahromi, the CEO of Saderat Bank, was forced to resign, Mahmoud Bahmani's the CEO of Iran's central Bank was accused of gross negligence, Mahmoud Kha'vari the CEO of Melli Bank fled to ...

<title>US Debt Ceiling: Costs and Consequences</title>
<description>House Speaker John Boehner could be the harbinger of what promises to be another bitter fight in Congress over the US debt ceiling. The Obama administration may soon be in another showdown with more fiscally conservative lawmakers on the Hill.

<title>Euro experiment turned out a failure: Economic author</title>
<description>European Central Bank President Mario Draghi says the EU is living "a crucial moment in its history" and urged Europe's leaders to take bold measures to tackle the bloc's deepening debt crisis. Draghi made the comments a day after European officials met in Brussels to discuss plans on how to stem a financial crisis that has wreaked havoc in the continent, and prepare contingency plans in case Greece quits the single currency area. The leaders concluded their latest summit early Thursday with few concrete steps to fix the financial crisis. The EU leaders have held several similar meetings over the past months as the crisis in the eurozone keeps aggravating. Press TV has conducted an interview with Simon Dixon, author of 'Bank to the Future', to hear his opinion on this issue.

      <title>Iran-P5+1 talks continues in Moscow-News Analysis-05-24-2012</title>
<description>The much anticipated Baghdad talks between Iran and the P5+1 had one tangible result: another round of talks has already been set for next month in Moscow, but what really changes as these talks approach? Is the US becoming less confrontational? A round of fresh US senate sanctions suggests otherwise, how about realizing Iran's right to a peaceful nuclear energy program? In return the US still has "all options on the table". Follow our Facebook on: www.facebook.com Follow our Twitter on: twitter.com
