According to the FTC, Central Coast collected almost $30 million last year through a internet sales scheme, with almost 1 million victims. Under this temporary injuctions, Central Coast’s asses were frozen and a received was appointed over all four of Central Coast’s affilicated companies.

Central Coast is accused of using deceptive advertising and billing practices, and claiming that the acai berry supplements would lead to rapid weight loss and the colon cleaner would help prevent colon cancer. Some advertisements claimed that the product was endorsed by Oprah Winfrey and Rachael Ray.

Among the different medifast products, medifast shakes are being used by many people since these shakes are really tasty and they also give a sense of fullness to the user. Even though, many people have already purchased and used medifast shakes, still many people are of the doubt regarding the taste of these shakes.

According to most of the users, these shakes offer a very good taste and some users are also using fat free whipped cream and sugar free syrups for further enhancing the taste of these shakes. Apart from sugar free syrups and whip creams, you can also use the medifast health mate blender which will increase the thickness of the shakes thereby giving it a better texture and a richer taster. With medifast health mate blender, you will get a better end product of medifast diet shakes.

Many people hesitate to try medifast shakes with a fear that it might taste just like a chalky liquid since it is diet product. But, they need not afraid of the taste. It will have a smoother texture as compared to any other shakes in the market.

One of the best known products in the medifast range of shakes is the medifast 55 shakes, which are being consumed by most of the women customers of medifast. If you are women, thinking ‘is medifast shake good for you’, the best product for you is the medifast 55 shakes. These shakes are low in calorie and high in protein. They are also low in lactose and are based on soya bean. Medifast also offers another shake called medifast 70 shakes, which are suitable not only for men, but also for women who are more active. These shakes are easy to digest and are becoming more and more popular among medifast users.

For banana crème medifast shake, you can add chocolate syrup, which would make its taste richer. Among the other flavors, the Dutch chocolate shake is the most popular and this tastes like Wendy’s Frosty and it has a creamy texture. French Vanilla shake tastes like Starbucks Frappuccino and if you add cherry syrup with this, you will get an enhanced flavor. If you are a person, who has a great liking for fruit flavors, you can choose orange crème/strawberry crème medifast shake.
My girlfriend introduced me to the product in 2001. She was going to the gym at 5 am every morning and taking Hydroxycut twice a day. Once in the morning and once in the afternoon. It was working for her – at least on the outside. Since I lived three hours I would drive at 5 am to work at 8am. She offered me some Hydroxycut to help me stay awake on the 5 am drive.

The memories of the effects of the product are very clear. It was easy to feel your heart racing about 10 minutes after taking the pills. Then there was a sort of intensity in my vision, sort of like when you haven’t slept and you get really awake again, everything is surreal, you are too awake. Then the rolling stomach would come on about 30 minutes later.

I brought Hydroxycut to my friends. One friend would stay up overnight with it on his security job. He once stayed up for 40 hours by taking a barged of Hydroycut and coffee.

We used the product to stay awake. We were all in good shape anyway so we were more interested in maximizing the time we could get out of a day. We were young, working two jobs and going out to the bar all the time. Tough life. Luckily we stopped using the product before people started having health problems. Ironically I did try to go back and use it again and found that it was too weak for me. I didn’t get the kick I wanted so I didn’t bother with it again.

I do still hear that the product is working for those who stick with it. Anything that can help you burn fat and stimulate your metabolism is something to look into. The number one effect that the newer less strong formula has is that if taken before meals it is an effective appetite suppressant. This is key.

Give it a try. It is likely you will see effect in a cycle of 8 weeks. Remember that you will need to reduce your diet and exercise. You can never get out of those two clauses.

Good Luck!

Here are the directions for Hydroxycut Advanced:

”Directions For Hydroxycut Hydroxycut Advanced: As a dietary supplement, take 2 caplets with an 8 oz. glass of water 3 times daily, approximately 30 to 60 minutes before meals (preferably before breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Do not exceed 2 caplets in a 4-hour period and/or 6 caplets in a 24-hour period. Do not take within 5 hours of bedtime.

For best results, use Hydroxycut for 8 weeks in conjunction with a calorie-reduced diet and a regular exercise program. Do not snack after dinner. Consume ten 8 oz. glasses of water per day. Read the entire label before use and follow directions.

Warnings: Not intended for use by persons under 18. Do not use if pregnant or nursing. Consult a medical doctor before use if you have been treated for or diagnosed with, or have a family history of any medical condition including (but not limited to) cardiovascular complications, diabetes or liver or kidney disease, or if you are using any prescription or over-the-counter drug. Do not use if you are using a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), or any other product containing ingredients with a known stimulant effect. One serving (2 caplets) of this product contains about as much caffeine as 2 cups of coffee. Do not combine with other sources of caffeine (e.g. tea, coffee, or cola beverages). Consult a medical doctor before starting any diet or exercise program. Discontinue use and call a medical doctor immediately if you experience irregular heartbeat, chest pain, dizziness, headache, nausea, or other similar symptoms. To not exceed recommended serving. Improper use of this product will not improve results and is not advised.”

I remember reading the packaging for a bag of two-bite brownies. The starburst read “Made with Real Ingredients”. I thought about that for a moment. Of course it is made with real ingredients. It is a real product I am putting into my mouth and eating. The advertising made the product seem healthy somehow when really it is not.

With this in mind it is hard to shop with the goal of losing weight. Packaging and advertising do not keep you away from unhealthly products or products that contain excess amounts of fat, sugar, or chemicals.

Here are some tips to use to help you be successful when you go to store and shop while you are on a diet.

1) Shop with a Purpose: You should only be buying items you are going to use in a specific meal or menu item.

2) Make a Menu: Make a menu of meals you are going to be shopping for. Get out your healthy cook book and prepare a couple of days of menus. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Check your cupboards to make sure you really don’t have what you are going to buy. ONLY BUY WHAT IS ON THE LIST.

3) EAT BEFORE YOU SHOP: Don’t go to the grocery store hungry. You need to prevent buying impulse items and the things you crave. Having a full stomach will allow your brain to choose and not your aching belly.

4) Fruits & Veggies: Make sure there are lots of fruits and veggies in your shopping cart. These are expensive so buy the seasonal products which are less expensive and value priced. Look for specials.

5) Read the Labels: Natural products are more expensive and they are often not that natural. Read the labels. If there are a lot of things you can’t pronounce put it back. The most natural you can get is in the produce isle.

When you get home you know you are going to love what you chose to buy. You have picked your favourite healthy meals so they will taste great as you make them over the next couple of days. A little planning will go a long way.

Enjoy!

Any partnership works well to keep you motivated. Neither partner wants to let the other down.

A dog is a great exercise partner. If you are a busy individual and you have a dog you know how motivated he or she is to get out for a walk, or a bike ride, or any other physical activity. Most pets are great at getting into a routine and keeping to it – to a fault in most cases.

My dog knows that the first thing we do in the morning is go for a walk. It is a great time of day to get out and stretch my legs. She loves to stretch her legs, sniff the grass, and do all those other doggy things. We walk about a kilometer and a half. We both get some exercise and I have a chance to get my senses together and start to plan my day before I even hit the shower.

After work we have the same routine. We walk, usually my wife and I with the dog, for about 30 minutes. This is our routine and it is great. We get outside, we get some exercise, our dog stays healthy and active and we all win.

Certainly there are times when we are late to go on our walk and our dog lets us know. She cries, looks anxiously at the door, passes, nudges our arms, and make sure that we know we are breaking our routine and our unspoken vow to keep active with her. She is the best police force to keep us walking twice a day that ever existed. We rarely miss a walk – only in the most terrible weather. We are all better for it.

Look around your house. I bet you have a fitness partner right next to you!

Have fun – “Walkies!?”

Depending on the result you want you can “spend” or “save” your calories leaving more, or less, in the ”bank”, or your body, than what started with.

If you are trying to lose weight you need to use up more calories than you consume. If you are trying to gain weight (maybe you are trying to add muscle or gain weight for medical reasons) you need to eat more calories than you will use and leave some in your body.

On a daily basis it should be your goal to get your budget right. Sometimes this is difficult as you might be in a situation where you have to do with what you have. If you are out for a family meal you might deposit too many calories that day. If you can’t get away for lunch, which is a bad habit, and you miss a meal, you may need to make up for it. Try to think of your diet in a longer interval than a day. A week is more reasonable than a day to work with. If you can make the right choices for your calorie budget on a weekly basis you will be in good shape at the end of each month. That is when you get your “bank” statement. Weigh and measure to make sure you are on track.

Try using the calculators on the site to help you get an idea of how many calories you are consuming and how many calories you need to burn off through activities so you can set up your budget.

Good Luck.

You can eat anything you want and stay thin. The caveat is that you have to control the size of the portion you eat.

Here are some simple rules to reduce your portions sizes and lose fat.

1) Read the labels: The nutrition labels indicate the suggested serving of the product. Try to stick with the suggested portion and you will be in better shape.

2) Reduce the size of your plate: Put the dinner plates away and use the salad plates to eat from. This simple change will likely cut your calories by a third.

3) Don’t get seconds: Just eat what is on your plate and resists going back for seconds. Even though you have a smaller plate.

4) Don’t be bored: A lot of people eat when they are bored. When you have nothing to do your brain starts to think about giving your hands something to do. Keep your body and mind active and you will not need to move your hands to your mouth.

5) Don’t upsize: You know you don’t need more fries or pop. Save yourself the little bit of money and your waistline will be happy.

6) It is in your hands: Proper portions can be assessed by the size of your hand. A portion of meat is the size of your palm. A portion of fruit of vegetables is the size of your clenched fist. A starch like potatoes, rice, or noodles is also the size of your fist. If you have more than that on your plate then you need to reconsider.

Consider This:

Food served on an airplane is a fascinating example of portion control. Each item is selected for balance of the meal and portion size. Have you ever heard anyone ask for seconds on an airplane? Surprisingly every airline meal leaves one full – but when you look at the amount of food it seems too little. Try to think of the size of an airplane meal the next time you load up your salad plate for dinner.

I sent him and email and asked him what he was doing to achieve the results. He wrote this response. He is pretty excited about the results. I would be too!

“I was pretty “over” being a “chubby bitch’. 5’6″ and 210(give or take)lbs was out of control. I didn’t do any before and after photos but was lookin pretty big in most of the photos I’ve been tagged in lately. “Who’s that fat guy beside so and so, and why’s he wearing my clothes?…Oh…” And I did get to go out and buy a bunch of skinny pants a while ago, my waist is down 3 or 4 inches now, yay!

I did buy a really good scale and was at 206.8lbs with over 35% body fat when I started the diet (I know,35+%! I was horrified!). I’m now down to 178.6lbs and am not going to check my body fat percentage again until I get down to my goal weight of about 165.

Then I’m off to the gym to try to add 10 or 15 lbs of muscle over the next year or so. I think that these goals are acheiveable in a nice long time frame and also think that I’d be pretty happy with weighing in at 175 or 180. As long as my body fat percentage is around 15. I’ll be a decade older next year and that final goal weight seems healthy and reasonable.

I am on a diet called Isagenix, it’s fairly expensive (about $300 a month) but the results are great and spending good money forces me to take it seriously. I get vitamins, cleanse juice, snacks, and 4 tubs of shake mix every month. I have a meal replacement shake for breakfast and lunch, take vitamins twice a day, drink about 2 liters of water a day, and have a small meal for dinner (I aim for about 600 calories at dinner). I do a cleanse day every week, on those days I don’t have any food all day-just the vitamins, lots of water, and 4oz of cleanse juice 4X during the day. So the $300/month actually looks reasonable when I consider that’s for 2 ‘meals’ a day and no food at all 4 days out of every month.

The diet is pretty easy to keep up, and the pounds keep dropping off even if I cheat a little sometimes. I’ve dropped nearly 30 lbs in about 3 months, I’ll probably be at my goal weight in another 3-4 months, and most people don’t yoyo on Isagenix. I’m planning to stick with the maintenance program(1 shake/day,2 cleanse days/month…$150ish) or the muscle-building Isapro program for as long as it keeps working for me. It’s set up as a multi-level marketing scheme but I didn’t get into it to make money, I wanted to lose weight and I am. But the changes are pretty dramatic, people are asking about the program and a few want to sign up under me – I won’t refuse to make a bit of money either. I’m pretty sold on the results … I’m down 28.2 lbs, my heart rate is down 25000 beats/day (resting pulse from 74/min 3 months ago to 56/min now). I feel a little hungry most of the time but not deprived, and I can indulge in a craving once in a while. So far, so good. Plus I’m sleeping better and don’t get as tired at work (but I’ve shed 30lbs of fat, so of course I’m more energetic during/after a 12 hour shift). And $300/month makes me think hard before I do something to set myself back, so no cheeseburger at 3am ’cause I’m bored and cranky.

Travis”

You can’t agrue with the results. Isagenix!

If you’re currently on the search for weight loss programs, you’ll need to consider a variety of things. All weight loss programs are not created equally; some will have a much higher rate of success than others.

Knowing exactly what to look for when searching for weight loss exercise programs will help enable you to make a decision that will get you the results you’re looking for.

First, if you’re like many people, you probably want a free weight loss program. The thing to keep in mind though is that these are free for a reason. They are targeted towards the general public and as such, give such broad suggestions that while it may work for one person, it will not work for you. For example, if you are a 200 pound man and the free weight loss programs you are finding are more geared towards a 140 pound woman; you can see why this would obviously be problematic.

The first thing to ask yourself when you see a weight loss diet program is how personalized is it. I’m sure you’ve heard the saying that “General programs produce general results,” which is very true. The more personalized and targeted the solution is to your individual situation, the higher your chance of consistent weight loss.

Next, ask whether it allows for enough calories to keep you from completely starving. While it may be tempting to try a very low calorie approach to get the weight loss process over and done with, usually these end up backfiring on you, leaving you gaining more weight back after you go off them than you had when you first started. Your goal is to burn the fat, not starve the fat and the majority of weight loss programs force your metabolism to shut down which leads to muscle loss – a doubled edged sword contributing to greater fat storage on your body.

Another component that you’ll want to factor in is exercise. A good weight loss exercise program will combine both cardiovascular training along with weight training. Those weight loss exercise programs that have you doing hours of cardio on end are not going to be all that beneficial at retaining your lean muscle tissue mass, nor time efficiency. Since, your lean muscle tissue is what keeps your metabolism the highest; it’s what you really want to focus on the most. Neglecting this aspect of your workout is a huge mistake and does not maximize the 24 hours in a day you have to burn fat.

Finally, keep in mind that any weight loss program you go on you should be maintainable in the long run. A program that you’re only able to maintain in the very short term is likely to not be overly beneficial as if lifestyle changes are not made with regards to how you’re eating; chances are that the weight will be back at some point in the near future. Your ultimate goal is a lifestyle change, not a temporary change.

So, if you want to get on a weight loss program that works, be sure to check out Your Six-Pack Quest. As you’ll discover when you sign up for this plan you’ll get 9 balanced meal plans, 84 days each, ranging from 1200 to 2800 calories.
If you are trying to create a healthy diet for yourself, you cannot overlook the importance that fiber will play. The main benefits you’ll receive from dietary fiber include improvements in the cardiovascular and digestive system along with providing a high degree of satiety.

Unfortunately, in today’s world of overconsumption of processed foods, a high fiber diet is hard to come by. Here are the top facts about fiber you need to know.

Promotion Of A Healthy Digestive SystemFiber’s primary role in the body is going to be to help promote a healthy digestive system. It does this by helping to keep the intestines in proper working order and prevent the accumulation of cholesterol along the lining.Lowering Your Bad Cholesterol LevelsAnother thing high fiber foods will do, is help to decrease the level of LDL cholesterol that’s seen in the blood. They do this by binding with the dietary cholesterol you take in while it’s in the small intestine and then removing it from the body. Therefore, a high fiber diet can be a very good defense against the heart disease.Fiber And Weight Loss Women who are consuming high fiber diets on a regular basis generally maintain a much lower weight than those who don’t, simply because they typically consume fewer total calories as a result.Because it takes fiber a long time to be digested by the body, this means you will stay feeling fuller longer than if you would have done without it.Since it is your end of the day total calorie intake that determines weight gain or weight loss, this is absolutely essential for weight loss.Getting Enough FiberIt’s recommended, when it comes to being sure you are getting enough fiber in your diet, to try and average 14 grams per 1000 calories you eat. Most women will have diets consisting between 1500 and 2000 calories, depending on your body weight and activity levels, so that will translate to 21-28 grams of fiber total.Increase Your Intake SlowlyBe sure that if you have not been eating much fiber in your diet at all in the past few months, increase your intake slowly. If you go from eating very little fiber a day to getting a very high dose, you will likely suffer from extreme digestive upset and will not feel well at all.Try and increase the consumption over the period of a few weeks to ease this process.Soluble FiberSoluble fiber is the type that plays the more predominant role in the lowering of bad cholesterol levels and is fully broken down the by the body. Sources to try and aim to consume include oat bran, oatmeal, beans, peas, rice bran, barley, and fruits.Insoluble FiberInsoluble fiber, on the other hand is not digested by the body and rather, helps to slow down gastric emptying, causing that increased satiety effect discussed above. This is what will provide the biggest benefit when it comes to weight control for you.Good sources of this type of fiber include whole-wheat breads, whole-wheat pasta, brown rice, wheat bran, cabbage, beets, carrots, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, and the skin of apples. So, be sure you do not overlook the importance of fiber in your diet. If you do get your consumption levels in line, you will most definitely notice a change in how you feel, and more than likely, a change in how you look as well.
