It has been quite a journey. As I've started cycling now. But not that active at the moment, been quite busy and my bike is held hostage at Marshall's place. Ahahah. I'll normally cycle whenever, he cycles. I'm slow, very slow. I don't wanna hold anyone back just to wait for me, but Marshall is an exception :P Ahahah.

Here are some cycling photos with the cycling clowns. Rode thru Kesas up to Puchong and head back to Subang and cycled all the way to Sri Petaling and back to Subang. Was exhausting, no doubt. But a good experience! :)

SUNDOWN MARATHON 2011

All of us flew to Singapore just to join this run. And I ran my first half marathon (21km). It was gruesome. A nightmare!! I did pretty bad, but managed to get the medal, since the cut off time were extended. Good thing! :) Paid about 70SGD for the run. Yikes! So yes, good thing, I managed to get a medal and bring back to my tanah air. Hehe. Well, the traffic was crazy. And the cab drivers had no idea at all about the venue of the run! How crazy is that? I assumed it was a huge event. Guess not.

I got there earlier, with a mission to collect our running bibs and goodie bags. But it was too late to head back to our hotel, so I stayed there. It was about 6 something, and my run only starts at 8pm. I even had to change into my running attire in the Toi Toi -___-"

But I guess, it wasn't that bad, because I had plenty of time to stretch and warm up before the run. Then it was 8pm, the run started, ran ran ran, paced myself behind a very old aged couple (Yes, they're slow, and I'm even slower) Hahah. And after awhile, I lost sight of them. Hahah. Then I paced, slowly, and I had stomach ache at the 3.5km mark. Shit! Was so painful, I decided to walk, and I really need a damn toilet! There wasn't any toi toi nearby sadly :( Walked and walked, about 6km mark, found a toi toi. Yeay! Then continued running, in pain again, spent more time in toi toi. Lol. And then again.

I ended up finishing my run in 4 damn hours. Ahahah. Tried to catch up after all the time wasted in the toi tois, but yeah, 4 hours, hahah really tried my best. Oh well. Told myself, I'll do better in the next run, and I did! :) In Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2011, read below. Hihi.

Overall, it was a nightmare actually to run, with stomach ache. Thanks to the spicy chee cheong fan I had in the morning. Lol. Lesson learnt! No spicy food before run!

It was my first time in Singapore, but didn't manage to explore enough, since most of us were having blisters, muscle aches and what not. But I still insisted to jalan-jalan, dragged Marshall along :) Only for awhile though. Was just at Marina Bay. Hahah.

STANDARD CHARTERED KL MARATHON 2011

Yeap, another 21km.

I swear I remember swearing during the Sundown run, I'll never ever do another 21km. But I did. Hahah. I'm always cursing and swearing, saying what the hell was I thinking signing up for a 21km run?! Lol.

Someone said to me, it's like giving birth, once you gave birth, the feeling is indescribable! Though it's so excruciating and you suffer like crazy throughout the journey, but when you see the child you gave birth to, you'd wanna have another one! :) So, it's the same feeling of accomplishing and reaching the finishing line. You battle with yourself both mentally & physically during the run. Your muscle aches, your feet is full of blisters, you're exhausted, but you keep on running! The most important thing is, you must be strong mentally, that's what keeps you going.

I did this in 3 hours 31 mins.

Not that good though, and I know I can do better. We'll see when's my next!

A full marathon (42km) is definitely not anytime soon. A 21km is crazy enough for me. A 42km needs a lot more!

I've only cycled with them twice.

We'd cycle through Kesas Highway.

Subang to Shah Alam then back to Subang, then all the way to Puchong, and then back to Subang.

Which is about 30km.

That one also, for me is super tiring, uphills are really testing my endurance.

I gotta admit, I'm the lousiest roadie there is. So damn slow :( Hahahah. Just not quite there yet.

But good thing, I have really good sports. Marshall, Charleston, Abang, the rest are all really supportive.

They even gave me a push! When I got too tired, and I'm always left behind. Lol! Thank youuuuu :') Really appreciate it. They keep telling me to paddle more, yes I tried my very best to paddle more, but at certain times, my legs just get too damn tired to paddle..... Hahah sucks! I shall try harder then ;)

Hello there.

I'm sorry, I suck in keeping this blog updated. Was so busy with finals and what nots.

Finals was good, I guess. There was only one subject that I thought did not go pretty well, but yea, praying for the best! Hopefully, will back to getting dean's list as I used to during my Diploma days. It was such a disappointment to get a "C" for the very first time in my Uni days. Really, really disappointing. That's how I missed my supposedly first dean's list for my first semester as a Degree student. But it was Business Law. I'm clearly not into sections, acts, cases, torts and any of those kinda things. I could've gotten a better grade for that subject, I admit, I did not do my very best that semester, hence the pretty low cgpa :'(

Fret not, I feel that this latest semester, I've put my best effort (I think). Hoping for the best now! Results will be out 2nd July. Woo hoo....

Ohh, on the far left, the one's looking away is actually my lecturer. I love her! She's so good with words, very educated of course, she knows what she wants, and she will get what she wants! She's so casual all the time, unlike other lecturers. Which is awesome! Heh. Her name is Dr. Amina Josetta Kayani :) Pretty name for a pretty lady like her. She studied in Perth and became a part-time tutor in Curtin Uni while she was getting her PhD. If I'm not mistaken. So yeah, she's def in my The Favourite Lecturers list! (I just created that, btw) Lol.

The one next to me is Michelle, from KK, a very outspoken girl :) then there's Reen (again.. Hahah), and Aini on the right. Aini is an extremely huge fan of Malaysia very own Datuk Siti Nurhaliza. I'm not kidding! She is. I've never met anyone that is so into a local celeb, and being all crazy about it. Like really die hard fan, I tell you! Lol.

Hahah it's funny, because we didn't know if we were pronouncing correct, with the right tones or not. I bet the if any Chinese watches it, they'll be cursing at us for ruining Mandarin. Lol. We're sorry :( We really tried our best. Hehehe.

So, at the moment. I'm doing a short course for a subject that I've left out from my 2nd semester. Operation Management. It's a gonna be a super packed month for me, as I have class almost everyday at 8.30am. But only for a month though. Sigh. It's okay faz, I can do thiss!! I'll be done by mid June :) Then will be free til September. Yeay!

In my case, I worked for it, like literally worked for it, earned my own salary and buy whatever that I want for myself. But mehh, I still don't have an iPhone or a Blackberry. Hahah. But it's alright, I still survive. It's definitely not the end of the world.

The day I got my Diploma cert & Vice Chancellor Award :)

The thing is, getting VCA is an extremely hard work. Hahah. All I got was a certificate that I, myself had to go collect myself from a clerk in the chancellery building in UiTM Shah Alam. The only pride that I had was wearing the pink sash during the ceremony and got my name loudly announced as 'Penerima Anugerah Naib Canselor' as I walked on the stage.

Well, yeah that's about it. Yeay....

In my humble opinion, they should come up with a scholarship or even hand us some little cash will do. Heheh ;)

Not that I'm being ungrateful.. but I do deserve a little something, don't I?

Hmm it was the first time for UiTM to hold a convocation ceremony in Dungun, Terengganu. It was raining throughout the ceremony. So gloomy & wet. But takpa lah, hujan rahmat, I suppose.

The minute the ceremony ended, all the vca receivers were brought to the hotel next door by a bus, to take pictures with the Pro Chancellor, Y.Bhg.Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Dr. Abdul Rahman Arshad :)

Penang Bridge International Marathon 2010

I just got back from Penang yesterday.

Was really looking forward to go Penang because I can't remember the last time I was there.

I was suprised, there were so many cars! Well, probably because most of them were PBIM participants. Hahah. And Queensbay Mall is like their very own One Utama. Not bad eh.

I ran 10km & completed in 1 hour 26 minutes according to the official results.

But I left the starting point quite late after the gun time :( So I think I finished few minutes earlier than that. They don't provide net time, which is frustrating, because I couldn't get a personal timing because my stupid stop watch failed on me.

The reason why there isn't net time for 10km runners is because of the last minute change of plan where we had to start with all the fun run runners. There weren't any mat at the starting point. Haih!

Well anyways, I guess the timing isn't that bad to compare to my Newton 12km, which was horrrrible! Hahah. I finished in 2 hours. Hahahaha. Thanks to the crazy route :)

We reached Penang on Saturday evening and stayed in B-Suite which was kinda near to Qeensbay Mall.

This was at 5am, all ready! Hehe. I was alone in the room.

All the Full & half marathon runners left me :( Hahah.

Pity thing was, at this particular time, they were soaking wet, it was raining heavily outside, with thunder storm. I bet it was crazy to run through the rain. Good thing, it was just drizzling during the 10km.

I had a good run :) The route was alright. But on the way back, it got so crowded, because it was just 2 lane street, divided into two. I had to run in zig zag to make my way thru. At times, it got me demotivated, and made me walk instead, because got people blocking. Hahah. There goes my timing. Lol.

Overall this year,

I ran 3km Dream Run for Siemens Run.

5km fun for KL Marathon - 50 minutes

12km for Newton Run. - 2:00:56.00

42km Woman Open & 10km Veteran.

It's Ramadhan again :) And today is Nuzul Quran. Mid Ramadhan!

I love breaking fast with my family, my friends. It's ahh, nice warm feelings when you get to sit and feast and laugh along the way. Fun!

Hmm well, classes has been okay. Been having tests, but somehow studying is kinda tough, because sitting at home, with the tv on, with my sibling chatting away, uhh so noisy! Unlike those days when I was in Dungun, when I had my own room (with roommates ofcourse), own study table and no distractions. It was so easy back then. Staying at home, too many distractions I tell you. Hahah I hope I'll survive degree just like how I survived my Diploma. InsyaAllah.

I'm happy to be home. Happy to see the boyfriend almost everyday, happy to see my friends. Hanging out and watch movies and all. Blissful!

And ohh, I've been cooking a lot. Maid left. So, since my mom works, I have to be the maid. Gotta cook for buka! Just like what I did last time, when we had no maid. I just cooked the most simple ones like black pepper chicken, chicken soup, ayam masak kicap, chicken stew. Lol. Yes, in this house, chicken is #1! So yeah. I can't cook much. But atleast, I CAN COOK :D Lol and secretly proud of it. Hahah.

I've started uni. Drive back and forth everyday. I realized it's really boring to drive alone. It takes me about 20 mins. At first, it was so stressful to figure out where is where. Can't even find parking! First day, I was stopped by this er I don't know who, some old man, he didn't allow me to enter, because I didn't have car sticker. Cibai. Had to turn back :(

Well anyways, I figured everything (well not everything just yet) already. Still need to explore more.

I got my MUET results. Clearly I suck. So disappointing. But not that disappointing that I have to repeat. But still! Bleghh. Could've gotten better :( Sigh.

Whatelse? Hmm. Oh, I worked in Cotton On Kids for a month! The whole month of June actually. Had fun layaning kids, kind and not so kind mothers and fathers. Arabs too. Some can be really bossy and rude too! and some kids are just plain annoying and noisy and bossy too! OMG. And some moms are just mommy godzillas. They came in the store, they left, the clothes/shoes will be all over the floor. School holidays especially, was so damn hectic. Didn't even have time to stand and do nothing.

But overall, I had fun. I miss it. I miss folding baju! And hanging clothes. Finding shoe sizes. Saying hello to babies :) Adorable babies! And pretty kids. Ahh I love. I made friends too. And oh, Nad was working with me, but different shift. She's normally in the morning, I'm evening shift.

I finally joined the running clowns after number of runs they have been participating. I'm a lazy person, when it comes to fitness. Yes, I admit. Hahah because really, I don't see the point. I'm a like a walking skeleton, and I hate the fact that I'm too skinny. Hahah okay, she doesn't look that skinny. Just like me, but more muscular ofcourse! Kenya's most successful woman marathoner Catherine Ndereba :) Oh, I think the first to finish the 42km at KL marathon was Kenyan too. Damn, they're good.

I only ran 5km for this one. Yes. I barely have stamina, because of lack of exercising/running/jogging. Hahah I'm lazy. Very. So, I think, with more training, I could do better. I did 5km in 50mins. How embarrassing. Lol. But atleast I ran :) and well walked too. Hahah.

Running for Siemens Run next. End of July I think. Wish me luck! :)

Marshall did really good, he finished his 21km earlier than the rest of the running clowns. Proud of youuuu! There, there, hope the blisters will go off soon. Hehh.

11th June 2010, we turned 6.

Yes, it has been 6 years already :)

and yesterday, I got my results!

Got my 6th dean's list baby.

on top of that, I will be getting the

Vice Chancellor Award for getting dean's list every semester.

I'll be graduating with a huge smile on my face!

Life's good.

There were 10 of us. Drove 2 cars.

5 married people in one car. And 5 young and party people in another car.

We snorkeled most of the time. Abg Salem, he was the one who took us around the whole time. Can't thank him enough! Wanna go agaaaaaain.

I got more to tell, but right now I'm just a bit rushing. I've work at 1.30pm.

What I do at work? Fold and hang tiny cute clothes and layaning kids and their parents :) Hihi.

I had an outdoor photoshoot on Tuesday.

Julian offered me a photoshoot, for fun. And I was like, yes sureeee, why not? :) And I'm glad I said yes.

There were 3 photographers. Julian, Steve & Kupih.
Thanks a lot guys :) I really enjoyed the shoot. Looking forward for more!

Those were the days when everything was done manually. You gotta go to the film shop and grab rolls of film; kodak or fujifilm? Then you start snapping pictures without having to review the photos nor deleting them if they look crappy. You will only get to view them once you finish a roll and you gotta send to the film shop to get it developed and collect the photos probably the next day. Phewww. And nooo, you can't just upload them on your computer and post on facebook right away! Well, last time it was friendster. And man, friendster was pretty lame :[

Now, it's all tit tit tit, press this and that button and snap! How easy. Technology has really made our lives easier.. and we are getting lazier! Thanks to the technology :) Everything works automatically and most are digitalized.

I'll get to watch sunset and hopefully the sunrise :) Aww.

I'm looking forward to go snorkelling! Since I can't dive, so I shall put that aside. Marshall has his license already, so while he's busy diving, I will be on the surface, snorkelling. Bloop bloop bloop. Lol!

This was yesterday. Spent some quality time with me two awesome buddies, Nad & Fara :)

Oh, but somehow I don't have any picture of Fara because she was the one busy snapping pictures. Hahah she's not really into being IN the pictures. Unlike me & Nad! Lol.

Is it important to like watermark your pictures? Hmm I just created one so I can use it again and again. For some reasons. So yeah. Hahah sorry.

Oh, this is one of the shoes I bought in Indo. Bought it for Fara, she loves it, and wore it right away. Haha that showed how much she actually loves it right? :) I'm glad. Heee, pretty kan kan kan?

Gave Nad a pair of flats. White with tiny dots, which I bought for myself as well. Hahah. It's pretty, so I knew she'll love it too. Hehehe.

We walked to Empire. A new mall nearby to Subang Parade. It's still new. Kinda empty still in the inside. I shall pay that mall a visit again in the future, when most of the shops are all open. Oh, they have Chillis there! Yeay, nearer to home :) Lovesss
