One factor which drives all the world and is capable of captivating the entire population in its charisma is the soccer game. Its charismatic clairvoyant is capable of dragging the population either to a single stadium or before any kind of broadcasting system. It is beyond all ages and is above all craze. This particular game is attached with a country’s pride and the citizens worship it with utter madness. In other words, it’s a religion in western countries. fc Barcelona football news always top the news headline chart in the field of sports.

Recently the headline, which was making rounds the corner, was the match between the former team and CD Tenerife Spanish Primera Division, which was held at Camp Nou. This match was an important game for the Spanish Primera Division. The fc Barcelona football news was on low spirits on the following day, as this team seemed to be at a weaker side than its rival team. It seemed to be losing everything from the Tenerife , which was also struggling hard for its survival in the Spanish league. On the other hand, the former team was fighting for maintaining its position at the top of the La Liga table. They finally kissed the victory with an easy game and succeeded in maintaining their ranking in the chart.

From the football news result stats, it has become clear that this second largest city of Spain will go through a tough time next week, as it would be having an one on one with Sevilla . So this particular team should be more cautious and should save maximum fit players in its bassinet. However, rumors are making round the corner that Xavi would be playing with his injured limb for a while. The fc Barcelona football news has aired the statement of the Spanish President, in which he was seen stating that most of the pressure and stress is actually on the Real Madrid team and that his country’s team has always been on the safer side.

On the other hand, Italian football news had a bad day and had nothing special to share with its country men as the country club lost to the Tehran team. The loosing country was not shocked at the loss, but was also embarrassed at the defeat. The winning country was full of joy and every street was seen celebrating the victory.

Barcelona are one of the biggest clubs in the world and have had more than their fair share of top name managers over the years, but they took a chance this year and appointed former player Josep Guardiola as manager, in what was his first managerial appointment. Gauardiola repaid the faith shown in him by leading Barcelona to a treble, winning the Champions League, La Liga and Copa del Rey. Barcelona are the first Spanish team to achieve this.

Guardiola was a fantastic player, spending most of his playing days at Barcelona and captained Johan Cryuff’s ‘dream team when Barcelona won their first European Cup. He has not recreated this success as manager and looks like having the potential to be one of the greats in the next generation of managers.

There is no doubt that Guardiola has a star studded team at his disposal but he made a bold move at the start of the season selling Ronaldinho and bringing in a few lesser known players to make his mark on the team. His achievements this year have been fantastic, especially since so many wanted him to fail as a result of his inexperience.

Even with the loss of Ronaldinho, Guardiola still has Messi, Eto’o, Henry, Xavi and Iniesta, to name but a few, at his disposal so he did inherit a string team but it is a team that hadn’t won La Liga since 2006 and one that many people had started to doubt could win the title.

Guardiola has certainly not put himself out there as a potentially future great manager and if he can continue to show the qualities and winning mentality that he has shown this season then there is no doubt that he will fulfil his potential.

In the late 1800’s Hans Gamper and ten other enthusiasts were playing an unidentified game called ‘foot-ball’. When Gamper went on to found Barcelona Football Club on 29 November 1899, he could hardly have imagined the momentous events that would follow. Throughout some of Catalonia’s most difficult years, the flag represented the people’s hopes for freedom, and today that very flag is the symbolic link which continues to represent the ties between a very special club and its’ supporters.

Barcelona is in the extremely enviable position of being the only team in Europe to have participated in every European Cup since 1955 the first year the tournament began. It also won the supreme continental prize. Their massive European trophy collection also includes the Cup Winners’ Cup, which the club has won no less than four times – making it undisputed king. In addition, Barca – common name for Barcelona Football club – accumulated three UEFA Cups in the 1958, 1960 and 1966 seasons. The Club retained the trophy in perpetuity after winning a special final in 1971, which paired together the first winner of the competition, FC Barcelona, against the last winner, Leeds United. However, Barca does not just reign in Europe but also in Spain, specifically in the Kings Cup, leading the ranking of winners in this competition with 24 titles.

Evidently, Barcelona reigns in Spain as well as in Europe and no other Spanish team can equal Barcelona’s 24 championship titles in the Copa del Rey. As for the Spanish championship league, Barcelona celebrates the centenary birthday with 16 league titles to its name. Six of these were amassed over the last ten years alone.

The FC Barcelona is currently a sports unit which includes basketball, handball, hockey, athletics, ice-hockey, figure skating, indoor football, rugby, baseball, volleyball and women’s football sections. The football team is the only side to have qualified for European competition every year since its inauguration in 1955. There are now a total of 105,706 members and 1,508 supporters clubs.

Over the course of 100 years, the club has lived through moments of brilliance and misfortune, through good times and bad, through epic victories and crushing defeats. Each one of these moments has contributed to shaping Barcelona into the absolutely unique club that it is today. Barcelona’s renown can be attributed, in part, to impressive statistics but another factor is certainly that Barcelona is one of the most highly decorated teams in the world. With the exception of the International Cup, the showcases of the Barcelona museum contain every trophy possible. Topping off the impressive collection is the European Cup, the crowning glory of a Wembley final that went into the history books.

FC Barcelona’s Museum is the most visited Museum in the city with the famous Picasso Museum a near second. It was set up in 1984. Year after year the museum has increased its number of visitors and become an ever more important tool for spreading the name of the club far and wide. Not only is it the best football museum in the world, it is also the most popular museum of any kind in Catalonia, regularly receiving more than 1,160,000 visitors a year, and is a reference point for many other such museums around the world.

Here we discuss the five key player to look out for in FIFA world cup, in random order.

Wayne Rooney

A young football player who is already on the road to learning a position as one of the great striker of his time, and perhaps one of England’s football team favourite greatest in memory, Rooney as soccer player, first came to world attention in the previous FIFA SOCCER World Cup, in which his speed, killing moving and shooting ability and for win paved his position as a worldwide name. His second World Cup may be his opportunity to help England win it s first football worldcup since ‘66.No Doubt his play will be an important factor.

Lionel Messi
Like Rooney, Messi is a player whoalso appearedon to the world scenesight in the 2006 Football Cup when he was just 18 years old. He played great many times in many important matches in Champions league his header scored the deciding goal. In goal was again decided the match and recently FIFA Club world cup final match his goal won the title to barca club and just a day before his two goal leadbarca club to beat Sevilla Fc by 4 goals. To see his live action at its home ground that is FC Barcelona camp nou get FC Barcelona Ticket

Gianluigi Buffon
After two young Soccer , we stop to consider an older one. While Buffon surely has years left in his career before he even considers giving up his place between team, he is a veteran player whose experience playing for Italy and Juventus should serve him well. Considered by many to be the best keeper on the planet, he certainly has a reputation to uphold, and his performance will have eyes around the world watching.

Bastian Schweinsteiger
He is a great soccer player and his performance remain great in recent years. He has established himself one of the best long shooter in football erena, his hat-trick in match against Portugal. Germany will be relying on his play side-by-side with Klose, Ballack and Lahm to go far in 2010.
Didier Drogba has settles himself as one of the most great player as finisher, and his control of the ball capbility is a great capability for Chelsa performance this season. Lets see He can lead Ivory Cost to win this time or not.
ArticlesBase FC Barcelona Tickets

FC Barcelona shockingly lost the first lap of Copa Del Rey quarterfinals at their home ground, Camp Nou, FC BARCELONA TICKETS. Sevilla was considered as a weaker side but they done great. Barcelona Football Club now look a near impractical assignment of winning 2nd leg which is away from the home side with at least margin of two goals to advance to the subsequent game. Barcelona entered the New Year 2010 but the results are not yet great for them. They drawn the match earlier and lost this match Sevilla. Capel at all the time has been a head-ache for FC Barcelona and this time again he opened the account for Sevilla. Then Ibrahmovic came to the rescue of FC Barcelona and equalised the match but Seville re-established the lead from Negredo penalty kick within no time. Guardiola introduced a number of football players and they all failed to perform together as a team. Gabi Milito performed little better.Guardiola gave Pinto the start in the Copa Del Rey match. The defence had Alves,Milto, Chygrynskiy and Maxwell. Thiago Alcantara, Marquez and Iniesta were in mid field. The forward line-up composed of Bojan, Messi and Pedro, BARCELONA Football TICKETS.

In the 7th minute Pinto made a diving save to deny Romaric from a free kick;. Barca responded straight away with Messi Great move but Palop stopped the football to cross the goal line between posts. For the second match in series, FC Barcelona performance started to go downwards in the second half. Ibra was brought in for Pedro . Sevilla started extorting more pressure. In the 60th minute Perotti skipped past Alves on the right and his cross was well directed by Renato to Capel who was unchecked and he made no mistake with the finish the ball in goal. In the 71st minute Alves made a great run on the right and sent in a high cross; Bojan’s shot got redirected by Ibra into the goal but the referee disallowed the goal for some non-existent foul by Ibra. In the 74th mimute Marquez played a great ball over the defence releasing Ibra free; Ibra controlled the ball well and got past the advancing goal keeper to send the football into the goal net. But the celebrations were short lived as Sevilla went ahead the next minute. Chygrynskiy fouled Capel on the edge of the box but the Madrid based referee Perez pointed to the spot which Negredo duly converted. Messi had a great chance to equalise but he couldn’t make use of that great chance and failed.People who bought Tickets for FC BARCELONA to see live actions were shocked.

FC Barcelona has a very challenging task for them now. Barca Club has to win Sevilla with a margin of two goals. Barca has done it in the past as in the last visit. But With the win of Savilla at camp nou the task has become more difficult. Although some people blame the Referee for this failure but we cant blame him because the game shown during the match timings by the Sevila was much better than the barca players. The Barcelona defence looked defenceless against the opponents. The offenses launched by the Barcelona were out of the target and not really up to the mark. So lets see will fc Barcelona learn from its mistake and do well in the next match. To see whether barca perform well in the next match at their home ground, get TICKETS Camp Nou

The Barcelona football stadium is the 3rd largest football stadium in the World after the stadiums in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Mexico City. Barcelona camp nou has a capacity of 110,000 people and on every match practically every seat is taken -such is the passion for football shared by the Catalan people.

When Kubula arrived, the old Les Corts stadium proved to be too small and it was necessary to find a new site. From when the idea was first thought of until the day it was opened on 24th September 1957, there were difficult moments for the Camp Nou, but the dream eventually became a reality.

The Old Football Ground had been founded back in 1922, and after several extensions, was able to hold 60,000 spectators, a figure that was practically impossible to increase any more. So, on September 19, 1950, FC Barcelonas Board of Directors, presided by Agustí Montal Galobart, purchased a plot of land next to the Maternitat, fairly close to the site of the old Les Corts ground.

The issue was left on hold until Francesc Miró-Sans was elected president of FC Barcelona. The new president was particularly insistent that the project for a new stadium should go ahead immediately and one of the first things he did after coming to power was to situate the new site on the land purchased in 1950 and not at the top of the Diagonal. So it was that, on March 28, in front of 60,000 fans, he laid the first stone of the Camp Nou, watched by the president of the Civil Government, Felipe Acedo Colunga, and blessed by the Archbishop of Barcelona, Gregorio Modrego.

The project for the new stadium was entrusted to the architects Francesc Mitjans Miró, Miró-Sans cousin, and Josep Soteras Mauri, under collaboration with Lorenzo García Barbón. However, later the Club handed the construction rights to INGAR SA.

The date for the inauguration of the Estadi was set at September 24, 1957. An organizing committee was formed to plan a special opening ceremony, which was presided by Aleix Buxeres and Nicolau Casaus. On September 21 in the Barcelona Councils Assembly Room, José Maria de Cossío, a member of the Real Academia Española, read the proclamation that officially opened the celebrations of the inauguration of the new stadium. That September weekend, members of different sections of the Club appeared in a series of international sports meetings at the Les Corts stadium and the Palau Municipal dEsports. Those important events were enough to inspire the renowned poet Josep M. de Sagarra to write a sonnet entitled Blau Grana, and the creation of the FC Barcelona Stadiums hymn with lyrics by Josep Badia to the music of Adolf Cabané.

On that day of the Mercè festival in 1957, the city was clothed in the colors of the Club. The inauguration began with a solemn mass and the blessing of the stadium by the Archbishop of Barcelona, Gregorio Modrego.

The terraces of the Camp Nou, still not quite complete, were opened to more than 90,000 people, as representatives of all of the football clubs of Catalonia paraded across the field, along with members of the sections of the Club, Barcelona fan clubs and different teams belonging to the Club. The hymn was then sung, followed, at four thirty in the afternoon, by the inaugural match. FC Barcelona played a Polish team from Warsaw. During the break, 1,500 members of the Agrupació Cultural Folklòrica de Barcelona danced an enormous sardana and 10,000 doves were set free. And so began a new era in the history of FC Barcelona.

It is said that Barcelona’s scraped defender Gabriel Milito has played his first correct in more than 18 months.Barcelona defender Gabriel Milito has played his first correct in more than 18 months as he continues his feat from a knee ligament injury.

The 29-year-old played the first half of a 4-1 friendly win over Peruvian side Bolivar on weekday morning as part of tentative progress in his rehabilitation.Milito damaged anterior cruciate ligaments in the 2007/08 UEFA Champions League semi-final second-leg loss at Manchester United. But the Argentina international is today pleased to hit returned to the field, although he has ease to set a date for combative action.Barcelona football Tickets are also availble.

“I had a rattling good feeling after such a long instance out,” he told Barca TV.

“I am making rattling significant progress even though I know I am ease locked in the feat phase.

“I don’t know (when I will play a combative match) but it’ll verify a while yet.”
Reigning champions metropolis avoided a scare as they progressed in crowning spot from the surprisingly tightly-contested Group F to the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League following a 2-1 conclusion at Dynamo Kiev.

Artem Milevskiy had put Kiev in front after two minutes, but Xavi equalised before half-time and a late free-kick from the brilliant Ballon d’Or Lionel Messi ensured Pep Guardiola’s Barca would advance with Inter Milan in second place.

Barca had looked back to their aesthetic prizewinning when sweeping aside the Italians, who defeated Rubin metropolis on Wednesday, at Camp Nou in their terminal transcontinental sortie, but Guardiola’s charges were instantly on the back foot in Ukraine.

Kiev, who lost to goals from Messi and Pedro in Spain in September, came storming at the current kings of aggregation with crisp aim and were rewarded with only 120 seconds on the clock at the passionate and vocal Valeri Lobanovski stadium.
Cerebral duo Clearly requiring no instance to adjust to the freezing conditions, Milevskiy applied the deftest of touches to Andriy Shevchenko’s cross and metropolis netkeeper Victor Valdes had a time to forget as he allowed the ball to squirm under his body.Get Tickets for fc barcelona for live action.

La Liga leaders Barca were riled and responded by governing possession, Guardiola preaches that the ball must do the work, before the reward of a 33rd minute equaliser as Xavi tapped in Eric Abidal’s centre following a beautifully flowing move.

Kiev had remained a counter-attacking threat, however, after the interval their opponents’ cerebral duo of Xavi and Messi were proving as illusive as they had to Manchester United in Rome in terminal season’s European Cup final.

The Ukrainians’ frustration was evident and English critic Howard economist brandish the yellow card in the direction of Leandro Almeida and Ognjen Vukojevi, while Gerard Pique had a goal ruled out for pushing from Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Messi, who won the 2009 European Footballer of the Year above third-placed Xavi, then delivered the goal his performance merited with four transactions remaining as he hit a superb free-kick past Oleksandr Shovkovskyy and in off the underside of the bar to condemn Kiev to bottom spot.

Nothing gives one as much joy as seeing his team perform successfully progressively in football matches. As a fanatical fan of Barcelona, I feel safe and proud to tell the world that there is now no team like my FC Barcelona, and that our fans are increasing almost on daily basis in Nigeria. The present performance of the Club is also making us proud, and all I want to beg my Boys is not to stop the winning victories they have subjected us until we lift the prestigious La Liga League, Champions League and other championship.

With the rate at which we are advancing I am sure that nothing will pre-empt us from achieving this great feat. Barcelona FC has become the major subject topic in Nigeria, and everyone will agree with us that no football Club in the world today is capable of marching us competitively. We obviously have all it takes now to go ahead and conquer even Chelsea FC, which is lacking in attacking prowess Manchester United, currently facing nose-diving because the one man-show goal abilities coming from Chritiano Ronaldo has come to a halt. Last season we clearly defeated Manchester United but Manchester United won the trophy in the Champions League match played in both Old Trafford and Nou Camp because there was goal drought on our part.

That sometimes happens and anyone can expect this at any particular point in time. I would not comment that it was extremely painful to me because judging from how the match went, we converted every of Manchester United players to defenders only struggling to kick the ball out in a bid to prevent it from getting inside the net. With heavy pressure mounting on Ferguson Boys, it became very clear that only the last sound of the whistle signaling the end of the match would save them, and so it was.

It is very rare finding any football team by whatever name and league mounting pressure on my Barcelona FC, this is one great reason, and I enjoy watching my team play. Because it is so entertaining that you expect goals from this team, we do not bother ourselves much even if we lose in the end as everyone agrees in the end that we deserve to win and not to lose, such is the beauty of football with Barcelona FC.

Press hype from the English media may try their possible best to distortedly twist us to believe that it happens in England, but this is too cheap to believe as we know that Spain is it, the real home of football. There may not be plenty of pounds but there are plenty of actions or how come no player from the English League has ever won the prestigious World Footballer of the year award. Soon, we shall prove to the whole world that we are capable of crushing any opponent that comes our way.

We are hot and we know it, Eto’o, Messi, Xavi, Alves, can do it for us. Who can compare with Messi, a player born with football? Merciless Messi is a one man riot squad who is capable of wrecking any an entire opponent team, and Eto’o with his present form has also demonstrated that he can go on scoring until the Referee blasts his whistle for the end of the match. Such is the glory Barca can bequeath to us the fans. Better begin to consider abandoning hypertension-Arsenal, Fluke-Manchester United, Noisy but empty Chelsea FC and unreliable-Liverpool FC and join us today. We hear never walk alone, the reason Liverpool walk with inconsistencies.

UP Barca! Barca for life!
