7/28/10: My DEMAND for investigation to California AG Jerry Brown

If I’m not CONVINCED that they are sincerely investigating by 8/6/10, I can only hope that I won’t be the only one to make this fraud and Jerry Brown’s refusal to prosecute KNOWN criminals a CAMPAIGN issue.

Of course I don’t expect Jerry Brown to contact me and expect to post many links to this blog at California news and political sites.

FDRS is SMALL POTATOES compared to the fraud that’s going on right now.

MILLIONS are targeted by scum like Mark Cella.

They actually create fake NEWS sites with articles about FEDERAL LEGISLATION requiring lenders to forgive debt.  There is no Credit Card Relief Act and there is NO government program to help people with unsecured debt — aside from the BANKRUPTCY legislation.

My goal is not just to put Mark Cella in jail, but to fundamentally change how crime against the PEOPLE is ignored by the government and law enforcement while crime against CORPORATIONS  comes with life sentences.

You’ve all heard about the three strikes law and people getting life in prison for stealing FOOD.  And I’m sure you’ve all seen the police arrest shoplifters at your favorite supermarkets and boxmarts.

I hope you all agree that we need fundamental changes and the upcoming elections give you the opportunity to make a difference. Your vote is rather insignificant compared to your VOICE on the internet.

While we all know what you find on the Internet needs to be taken with a grain of salt it’s always upsetting when Internet rumors turn on you.

Here at Wag the Dog Marketing we have been victims of baseless, uneducated, and down right silly lies, and are here to tell you the scam of Top-Dog.org is not true.

Recently one woman has decided that we are responsible for defrauding customers in a debt consolidation business.

This business apparently got people to pay them money that was supposed to be used to help with their debts and get them out from underneath crippling interest payments. Instead they have been accused of keeping the money and scamming their customers.

That all sounded bad but has nothing to do with us – nor do we believe the accusations made about them! We are Internet advertising specialists and have never worked in debt consolidation.

The scam of Top-Dog.org is not true just go to our site and you will see that we so nothing close to what this other company does.

The kicker is that this woman has decided we are the guilty parties here just because we are currently located in their old offices. We are leasing the office space that they left when their company folded.

That is the only connection between the two companies this one person has decided that is enough “proof” to blast us and accuse us of being scammers.

The scam of Top-Dog.org is not true and while we’re not trying to insult anyone who was harmed by these debt scammers it is absolutely ridiculous to link us to them because we now lease the building they used to lease!

Does this woman really think we were running a debt consultation company, while simultaneously running an Internet marketing business?

And after harming people we simply changed the name on the door but didn’t move? It’s beyond ridiculous; it’s completely insane!

Since they don’t identify “the woman”, I can only assume that they are referring to me.

The funniest part is that they never disclose who “we” is — they never identify themselves.  The reason is OBVIOUS, they’re NOT the “professionals” they claim to be.

I NEVER received a demand for retraction.

This is about as hilarious as it gets.  I just hope that people looking for business and SEO services will research BEFORE paying Top Dog for any services.

Regardless of the quality of Top Dog services provided, NOBODY should support CRIMINALS who DEFRAUDED so many desperate consumers:

The FDRS victims’ damage reports

When I first watched the Truth-It videos and looked at that AWFUL site, I didn’t know what to think and I was wondering who this clown is.  He sure doesn’t look like the guy who supposedly got away with $50 million from the FDRS scam.

Truth-It is a website for the dumbest of the dumb.

According to readers, the site isn’t profitable.  It contains no original work, just copies of articles written by others and apparently, there aren’t enough people clicking on the ads.

I’m not a big fan of Alex Jones because he finances his investigations and whatever activities with entirely fraudulent ads, such as for debt elimination scams like FDRS, the “solar backup generator” and other rip-offs.  BUT, at least Alex actually does something.   So if you want that kind of “truth”, go to InfoWars.com. So is this really Mark Cella?   How can he have the nerve to put his face on the web?

He did have several people working out of his house but over the past months they have stopped coming including his assistant which I believe and quit or got fired (probably for saying no to his advances).

He has opened a new office in Carlsbad, Ca-Wag The Dog Marketing has moved here.

I have seen the cops at his house a couple of times but he has managed to slip by them by leaving early to Carlsbad.

It should be fairly easy to VERIFY at least some of the information for people living in the area.

5/20/10: My open letter to Forster & Garbus and Citibank

Now I really want to know whether Citi has ever been notified by Forster & Garbus or Cohen & Slamowitz.

The problem is getting anyone at Citi to provide information outside of court.  Nothing’s ever easy.

WV AG McGraw sues CCDN (FDRS credit repair)

… I filled an AG complaint and told my bank that all of the charges were FRAUDULENT! Wachovia helped me get back EVERY PENNEY I EVER PAID THEM!!

Assuming that’s true, that’s really fantastic!

So give that a try.

It won’t be compensation for ALL damages, such as the creditors’ fees and interest, ruined credit rating, litigation, etc., but that would really be a good start.

It looks like there are STILL people paying FDRS and their bank account is still open.

So the banks CAN reverse the charges.

Cohen and Slamowitz Unfair Collection Litigation Practices

I’ve been getting so many emails from FDRS clients requesting my help and here’s an excerpt from from someone requesting a CONFERENCE CALL with her husband:

So, turn on the radio or TV or pick up a newspaper.  Look for advertisements with a PHONE number.  Call THEM and give THEM your money.

MANY of the people who fell for FDRS are not fit to survive in the United States.

The SCUM is advertising EVERYWHERE and they’ll be GLAD to take your money on the PHONE.  Which is of course what FDRS did.

I’m not saying that people DESERVE to get  ripped off, although I’m sure most of you did NOTHING whatsoever to prevent the takeover of the US by crooks and criminals.  You made your bed, now sleep in it.  Good night!

I’m going to try to find an attorney for my client who is sued by Citibank and hopefully the attorney will file counter claims against Cohen & Slamowitz for violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and maybe they’ll track down Mark Cella.

However, I want you all to understand that I am NOT getting paid by anyone for the thousands of hours I have into this FDRS investigation.  I had hoped that my publications would enable the “victims” to help themselves.  But I made a mistake, I hadn’t realized how functionally illiterate most Americans are.

I greatly enjoy working with clients who are capable of following instructions and conduct themselves properly during calls to collectors and attorneys AND make these fantastic recordings.

And if you are capable of doing that, you too can prevail against collectors and lawyers.

I’m still in shock over the FDRS “victim” who blamed the INTERNET for FDRS and is so utterly DELUSIONAL.  It is so sad to see people who are completely incapable of reasoning.   And there’s nothing I can do for people like her.

MOST FDRS victims haven’t even bothered to submit a damage report.

I’m aware that most people are just down and out, broke and depressed.  And that’s understandable, but I can’t change that.

So I will send my open letter to AG Brown and there ARE a few people who are putting up a fight.  There’s also lots of news about Mark Cella’s new venture.  But I’ve been too busy dealing with Cohen & Slamowitz to work on that, so hopefully I’ll get to that sometime soon.

You’re being sued — now what?

More and more FDRS victims are being served and as I have been working with consumers who were sued, I have to emphasize that if you have no assets and you are barely getting by, you really should consider IGNORING the lawsuits and/or filing for bankruptcy.

It is EXTREMELY stressful to deal with the HOSTILE court system, rules no “normal” person can understand and unhelpful clerks.

It takes MANY hours to learn court rules, credit reporting and collection laws and to get a CHANCE at prevailing. 

Especially if you have kids, you really should focus on THEM and on being the best parent you can be.

• Change your phone number (get an UNLISTED number) if you get collection calls.
• SAVE all correspondence from creditors, collectors and courts.

You may also be able to have judgments vacated if you did not respond to the summons because often service is NOT made according to the rules.  See my posting:

And even if the judgments stand, you can usually settle them for MUCH LESS later.    Or maybe you move to another state — few creditors bother with “domesticating” judgments in other states.  In some states wages can NOT be garnished — do your homework.  Judgments can only be reported on your credit for 7 years (5 years in NY.)

A little planning goes a LONG way.

As many millions of consumers are defaulting on their debts — NOT because they’re lazy or stupid, but because our government is corrupt — we will see a lot more leniency by employers and creditors.

Focus on POSITIVE activities, your family and friends, start a garden and pray for the best, but prepare for the worst.

Consider ALL your options.  Become engaged in your community.  Move to another state?

I can’t tell you what YOU should do other than to consider all your options.

I’ll be glad to help those of you who DO have assets, income and the stamina to fight, but most people should simply take a step back and try for their fresh start.

We now have 15 damage reports and you MAY just get a check from Mark Cella and/or his cronies.   And even if no money is recovered and they just go to jail (hopefully), you will be able to show the damage reports and my published complaint to any potential employers or creditors IF judgments and your credit become an issue.

Many THOUSANDS of people have been scammed by credit counselors and debt settlement companies.  You’re not alone.
