If it is true that there is nothing to fear but fear itself, than Fear Zero has taken its name wisely.
"Fear Zero doesn't mean fear" insists leader Ed Sadler; "It is sort of an anti-fear. Do not be afraid of taking chances."
Their new album, Whole Damn Nation, is an example of chance taking. It incorporates a wide variety of styles from hard rock to simple pop to reggae.
“These guys really stepped up to the plate financially and enabled us to work with guys like Mike Fraser (ACDC, Aerosmith, Hinder) and Darren Grahn (Metallica, Crossfade, Third Eye Blind) and let me tell you, when you get to record in a famous and great sounding room such as Hippowest (formerly Mushroom), it just inspires you to play and write in the best way possible.”
Fear Zero was chosen as one of 10 bands by Sellaband and the Dutch automotive company SEAT to take part in an online voting competition for $1,000 towards our next CD.

Had a fun time last night at my buddies b-day party. Sometimes it’s fun to just get together a bunch of ragtag musicians and play music for the sake of music, no worries about playing music people can dance to, or making sure you don’t play anything too crazy and get fired from the gig lol. We just created for a solid 2 hours, making up songs, melodies, chord progressions and then improvising over all of it. 5 minute long solos, 15 minute long jams centered around creativity. I always have fun doing that sort of stuff and I don’t get to often enough as life gets in the way of that (gotta pay the bills).
It has been about 4 years but finally Fear Zero will perform on July 30th at The Roxy for “The Summer Sessions” which is an acoustic battle of the bands where we will play some original songs and 2 cover songs from 1993.
