Did go to the  gym yesterday. A little water aerobics and swam a few laps. Best part  was the hot tub. &lt;br /&gt;

I really do feel good. Energy level has  increased but not to the level I had hoped. Skin feels soft and silky. I  find my self feeling myself up all the time. Is that sick or what? &lt;img alt=":oops:" src="http://www.mastercleanser.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_redface.gif" title="Embarassed" /&gt;   Also, my fingernails have started growing. I've always had soft paper  thin fingernails. Now the nails are hard and actually growing. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The stool is still very watery. It's as if the liquids I'm drinking are coming out the wrong end. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I'm  no longer dreaming of foods to eat. Now my plans are what foods SHOULD I  eat to feed/nourish the body while maintaining this spectacular weight  loss. Even though I expect to gain some of the weight back, there has to  be a eating plan that will cause further weight reduction. A raw food  diet is very attractive, but just too difficult to maintain when none of  your friends are raw. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Oh well, it is nice to have new worries instead of how to stay on the cleanse.&lt;br /&gt;

It could be that even though I'm drinking the lax tea very little is coming out. It also could be because I'm only drinking one cup of the tea per day. I suppose I really should up the amount of tea. How is it possible a person can gain weight on just drinking lemonade. &lt;br /&gt;

My mouth feels like a heard of buffalo is camping out inside.&amp;nbsp; :evil: The tongue was clearing up, but it is now coated again. Have to drink lots of LA today. I've been reading up on autolysis. Supposedly when a person starts fasting the body start eliminating or eating up all the bad tissues. I still have pimples and moles that are not being eliminated.&amp;nbsp; :evil: &lt;br /&gt;

There is still no great clarity that is suppose to come. Energy level is still low. I must say even though the lying scale is not moving in the right direction, I do feel much lighter. I can't continue lying. I'm doing this for the WEIGHT LOSS. The cleanse is my bonus. Ahh... it feels good to get that off my chest. :oops:&lt;br /&gt;

In my case, I KNOW EXACTLY WHICH FOODS ARE HEALTHY OR NOT. &lt;br /&gt;

Rather than having a list of foods I can't eat. I will simply choose to eat healthy foods most of the time with an occasional indulgence. For me dieting just does not work. Everyone has to find their own method of weight control. &lt;br /&gt;

Before this  cleanse I had to have food in my mouth whenever I thought of it.  Constantly eating was a way of life. Now I'm having a hard time drinking  my 8 glasses of lemonade a day, and forget drinking even more water.  How does everyone manage so much liquids?&lt;br /&gt;

Was talked into not getting on the scale again until Sunday or Monday. This will be very hard. Will see. Being so big, all of my pants are spandex and too small. It's really hard to tell by the clothes if I've loss any weight. It's kind of like a balloon. I just keep shrinking and expanding into the same clothes. If ever my clothes start to sag, I'm tossing them and buy linen with zippers. :lol: &lt;br /&gt;

Definitely not drinking enough water. In fact yesterday I only drank the 8 glasses of LA. Water is on the menu tonight. More tomorrow. &lt;br /&gt;

This morning my "incredibly accurate completely honest scale" showed my  true weight.  &lt;img alt=":lol:" src="http://www.mastercleanser.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif" title="Laughing" /&gt;  This is really a good thing because I was thinking about a water only fast and being totally miserable. &lt;br /&gt;

Poop  scoop: Have resigned myself to having watery mucosy black stools for  the duration of this cleanse. Since nothing I'm drinking is dark, it  must be pulling gunk from the inner working of my soul. I really didn't  understand the purpose of the lax tea and SWF before. I thought, sure it  will get out all the food you ate right before the cleanse. I guess I  have food left over from months past. Could this be what people mean  when they say "you're full of sh*&amp;amp;t &lt;img alt=":?:" src="http://www.mastercleanser.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_question.gif" title="Question" /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;

Hard to believe only 5  more days until I have to make a definitive decision to continue. Like I  said about the 10 day cleanse going to 21 days originally sounded like a  dream. Oh heck, I can't wait, I'm making that definite decision now. I  can state unequivocally if the good Lord let's me live I'm going all the  way to the 40 days. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Last night a good friend that hasn't seen  me since I weighed 250 pounds talked me into taking a vacation with her  in May. We chat on the phone all the time, but because she is in another  state we seldom see each other. A little background -- this is a really  close friend, in fact we have been like sisters for more years than  most of you were born. I've always been heavy (okay FAT), while the rest  of our crowd were normal sized. Sometimes I feel my skinny friends  include me because it makes them look skinner next to me. &lt;img alt=":lol:" src="http://www.mastercleanser.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif" title="Laughing" /&gt; Nah, that's just the fat paranoia, or is it &lt;img alt=":?:" src="http://www.mastercleanser.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_question.gif" title="Question" /&gt;  Anyway back to the story, I'm so incredibly motivated, I plan to show  up for this vacation with a brand new body, that's full of energy. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
May  is a perfect time also. The cleanse will be over in February. I'll have  a few weeks to nourish the body with vegetables and any foods I've been  craving, before the start of lent. That's right, I plan to do another  40 days for lent. With this 40 days and the lent 40 days, there's no way  I won't be down at least 50 pounds even weighing on my lying scale. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Will  definitely post before and after pictures people. In fact, I'm going to  the pool tomorrow and will get someone to take the before picture then.  How often do you think I should take more pictures.  &lt;img alt=":?:" src="http://www.mastercleanser.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_question.gif" title="Question" /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;

The  lying scale this morning begrudgingly showed a half pound weight loss. I  almost felt sorry for the scale because I know it should have been a  pound. &lt;img alt=":wink:" src="http://www.mastercleanser.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif" title="Wink" /&gt; I refused to update my weight until a full pound is on that lying scale. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Really  loving the sugar cane juice. Will do the sugar cane juice today, but  switch back to the MS tomorrow and following days. I bought all that  syrup and it makes no sense to let it go to waste. Alternating between  the two should also fool the lying scale. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Finally the poop  scoop: No longer even attempting the SWF but using the China Slim all  natural diet tea. It is working; producing watery, mucosy dark mess  nightly. &lt;br /&gt;

Today was another day of that lying scale not moving. This is really probably a good thing since my tongue is now coated with white/yellowish coating. Ichy. No way is my body ready to end this cleanse. If the tongue is any indication, I'm absolutely filthy inside. &lt;br /&gt;

After being so inspired by Athene's blog, I've decided to try the sugar cane juice. I have no idea how much to use, but probably used too much. The drink is downright sinfully delicious. Have to find out how many calories in sugar cane juice. Living in South Florida sugar cane juice is readily available and reasonably inexpensive. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Drinking the Chinese tea extra strong at night. No big bang, but consistent watery stools. Also, something must be breaking loose the stools are darker. Originally they were just bright yellow like the LA. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Went to the new LA Fitness gym today. Did treadmill, stationary bike, rowing machine and a few laps in the pool. Obviously the energy is returning, still had energy to do a little shopping after the gym. &lt;br /&gt;

The lying scale did not move this morning. I know, don't be disappointed, but I can't help it.&amp;nbsp; The scale is my measure. It is easy to say it is not about the weight, but when you are as big as an elephant, it ALL about the weight.&amp;nbsp; :oops: Why didn't that lying scale matter when I was gaining all this weight, you might ask? :?: Simple, I didn't step foot on it.&amp;nbsp; :P &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Yesterday I only did one SM tea and the SWF. I only used a little 1 teaspoon of salt and had a little watery stool. This morning I did full portion of the SWF and as usual threw it all up within minutes. I give up on the flush. Since today is Sunday and I don't have anywhere to go or anything to do, I decided to leave the maple syrup out. Will see how drinking hot lemon water with cayenne pepper is going to be. Will also drink the lax tea. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Still no burst of energy. All I feel like doing is lying in bed. Even though I don't have this high energy, I feel incredible good. No aches or pains. I'm actually on the 13th  day of what I thought would be a 10 day cleanse.  In the beginning I  really had doubts 3 days would be doable. But I kept reading these  threads and thinking other people are doing it, I'm people, I can do it  too. With so very much to lose, now that I'm in it, I think I'm going to  try for 21 days.  That's only 8 days away. Doesn't seem too far and  definitely a goal worth striving for. &lt;br /&gt;

I didn't exercise yesterday.  &lt;img alt=":evil:" src="http://www.mastercleanser.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_evil.gif" title="Evil or Very Mad" /&gt;   But I promise Monday I will get back to the gym. I figure if I  exercise at least 5 days a week it is enough. Keep in mind, the great  energy rush everyone else is experiencing is not happening here. I'm  still very tired and sluggish. Still waiting for the "BIG POOP".  The  tea is not pulling poop the way I envisioned. &lt;br /&gt;

I want to go to a  colon cleanse, but holding off until I finish this lemonade cleanse.  Don't want to do anything to mess with the electrolytes or the  metabolism. No dramatic weight loss, but am losing at a steady pace now. Yesterday  I met with some friends from out of town. Before I even thought about  it, I invited them to this great restaurant for dinner Sunday. When I  got home I came to my senses and realized,no way can I go to a  restaurant and NOT eat. I bit my pride, called my friends and just told  them the truth. Explained I'm on a health cleanse and not allowed near a  restaurant right now.  I begged them for a raincheck and hung up with  no regret.  &lt;img alt=":oops:" src="http://www.mastercleanser.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_redface.gif" title="Embarassed" /&gt;  Rather than feeling guilty, I felt GOOD! &lt;img alt=":lol:" src="http://www.mastercleanser.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif" title="Laughing" /&gt;  &lt;br /&gt;

Thanks  all for the support. faery, I've tried that SWF so many ways and  they're all just impossible to stay down. The idea of even trying 3  times a day makes me gag. I think I said this to  someone else, "friends, family and loved ones really don't understand" -  they all mean well. As soon as you announce you are finally doing  something positive about your health, "they" tend to pull out all stops  to sabotage your efforts. I'm a member at LA Fitness health club. One  day I was there and they decided to have a membership welcome fair. They  let food businesses from the community set up tables and had all kinds  of free unhealthy food for the members. Why would a health club allow  people to bring in Dunkin Donuts? &lt;img alt=":evil:" src="http://www.mastercleanser.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_evil.gif" title="Evil or Very Mad" /&gt;  We have to live in the world, so having our secret weapon (the cleanse) we can get it off and keep it off.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;span class="postbody"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Drank warm water with just a little salt, trying to get the body used to taking the SWF. Will add more salt tomorrow. So far after 1 hour that small amount is not working. Today is the first day I'm going to the gym, so no tea until I come in later. &lt;br /&gt;

Poop is still not well formed, still very watery. I read somewhere, on some forum, that until you get God awful, black, smelly poop, you have not cleaned the colon. I'm really hoping I get there. &lt;br /&gt;

On the first day of fasting, the &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;div class="postbody"&gt;&lt;nobr&gt;&lt;a class="FAAdLink" href="http://www.mastercleanser.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&amp;amp;t=7075#" id="FALINK_1_0_0"&gt;blood sugar level&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/nobr&gt;  drops below 70 mg/dl. To restore the blood to the normal glucose level,  liver glycogen is converted to glucose and released into the blood.  This reserve is enough for half a day. The body then reduces the basal  metabolic rate (BMR). The rate of internal chemical activity in resting  tissue is lowered to conserve energy. The heart slows and blood pressure  is reduced. Glycogen is pulled from the muscle causing some weakness.  The first wave of cleansing is usually the worst.  &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Headaches, dizziness, nausea, bad breath, glazed eyes and a heavily  coated tongue are signs of the first stage of cleansing. Hunger can be  the most intense in this period unless the enema is used which quickly  assists the body into the fasting state by ending digestion in the  colon. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color: darkblue;"&gt;Stage 2 (Day 3 To Day 7)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;br /&gt;
Fats, composed of transformed fatty acids, are broken down to  release glycerol from the gliceride molecules and are converted to  glucose. The skin may become oily as rancid oils are purged from the  body. People with problem-free skin may have a few days of pimples or  even a boil. A pallid complexion is also a sign of waste in the blood.  Ketones are formed by the incomplete oxidation of fats. It is suspected  that the ketones in the blood suppress the appetite by affecting the  food-satiety center in the hypothalamus. You may feel hungry for the  first few days of the fast. This effect is temporary. The desire to eat  will disappear. Lack of hunger may last 40 to 60 days, depending on  whether you are on water or juice.  &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The body embraces the fast and the digestive system is able to take a  much-needed rest, focusing all of its energies on cleansing and  healing. White blood cell and immune system activity increases. You may  feel pain in your lungs. The cleansing organs and the lungs are in the  process of being repaired. Periodically, the lymphatic system expels  mucoid matter through the nose or throat. The volume excreted of this  yellow-colored mucus can be shocking. The sinuses go through periods of  being clogged, then will totally clear. The breath is still foul and the  tongue coated. Within the intestine, the colon is being repaired and  impacted feces on the intestinal wall start to loosen. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color: darkblue;"&gt;Stage 3 (Day 8 to Day 15)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;br /&gt;
On the latter part of an extended fast, you can experience enhanced  energy, clear-mindedness and feel better than you have felt since  childhood. On the downside, old injuries may become irritated and  painful. This is a result of the body's increased ability to heal during  fasting. If you had broken your arm 10 years before, there is scar  tissue around the break. At the time of the break, the body's ability to  heal was directly related to lifestyle. If you lived on a junk-food  diet, the body's &lt;nobr&gt;&lt;a class="FAAdLink" href="http://www.mastercleanser.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&amp;amp;t=7075#" id="FALINK_2_0_1"&gt;natural healing&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/nobr&gt; ability was compromised.  &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
During fasting, the body's healing process is at optimum efficiency.  As the body scours for dead or damaged tissue, the lymphocytes enter  the older, damaged tissue secreting substances to dissolve the damaged  cells. These substances irritate the nerves in the surrounding region  and cause a reoccurrence of aches from previously injured areas that may  have disappeared years earlier. The pain is good as the body is  completing the healing process. The muscles may become tight and sore  due to toxin irritation. The legs can be the worst affected, as toxins  accumulate in the legs. Cankers are common in this stage due to the  excessive bacteria in the mouth. Daily gargling with salt and water will  prevent or heal cankers. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color: darkblue;"&gt;Stage 4 (Day 16 to Day 30)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;br /&gt;
The body is completely adapted to the fasting process. There is more  energy and clarity of mind. Cleansing periods can be short with many  days of feeling good in between. There are days when the tongue is pink  and the breath is fresh. The healing work of the organs is being  completed. After the detoxification mechanisms have removed the  causative agent or render it harmless, the body works at maximum  capacity in tissue proliferation to replace damaged tissue. While a  short fast will reduce the symptoms, a longer fast can completely heal.  Homeostatic balance is at optimum levels. The lymphatic system is clean  except for a rare discharge of mucus through the nose or throat. After  day 20, the mind is affected. Heightened clarity and emotional balance  are felt at this time. Memory and concentration improve. &lt;br /&gt;

The sticky, toxic, mucoid coating on the intestinal wall is loose,  and the first meal frees it from the intestinal wall. Toxins enter the  blood through the colon. The gallbladder dumps its waste in a heavy  discharge of bile. This can cause an instant bowel movement upon eating  followed by intense diarrhea. If the symptoms are too uncomfortable, an  enema will help. &lt;br /&gt;

After  fasting for several days, the body goes into a condition known as  "autolysis". This is when the body starts to feed on itself because you  are giving it no solid food to feed off of. Fortunately, the body in  it's brilliant design feeds on only the weak, diseased, dying, or dead  cells. This summer I re-discovered green smoothies. What do I  mean by green smoothie? 1 big cup of water. Blended well.&lt;br /&gt;
This smoothie looks very green, but it tastes like fruit. I like  green smoothies so much that I bought an extra blender and placed it in  my office, so that I could make green smoothies throughout the day. More  than half of all the food I’ve had in last several months have been  green smoothies. I have so much more energy and clarity that I have  removed green juices from my diet. (Juicing has been something that I’ve  been doing regularly for years.) Green smoothies have numerous benefits  for human health.&lt;br /&gt;
1. Green smoothies are very nutritious. I believe that the ratio in them is optimal for human consumption: about 60% – ripe &lt;nobr&gt;&lt;a class="FAAdLink" href="http://greensmoothiesblog.com/green-smoothie-facts/#" id="FALINK_3_0_2"&gt;organic fruit&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/nobr&gt; mixed with about 40% – organic green vegetables.&lt;br /&gt;
2. &amp;nbsp;Green smoothies are easy to digest. When blended well, all the  valuable nutrients in these fruits and veggies become homogenized, or  divided into such small particles that it becomes easy for the body to  assimilate these nutrients, the green smoothies literally start to get  absorbed in your mouth.&lt;br /&gt;

4. Green smoothies belong to the most palatable dishes for all humans  of all ages. With a ratio of fruits to veggies as 60:40 the fruit taste  dominates the flavor, yet at the same time the green vegetables balance  out the sweetness of the fruit, adding nice zest to it. Green smoothies  are simply the best tasting dishes for the majority of adults and  children. I always make extra smoothie and offer it to my friends and  customers. Some of them eat a standard American diet. They all finished  their big cup ofgreen smoothies with complements. They were quite  surprised that something so green could taste so nice and sweet.&lt;br /&gt;
5. By consuming two or three cups of green smoothies daily you will  consume enough of greens for the day to nourish your body, and they will  be well assimilated. Many people do not consume enough of greens, even  those who stay on a raw food diet. The molecule of chlorophyll has only  one atom that makes it different from a molecule of human blood.  According to teachings of Dr. Ann Wigmore, to consume chlorophyll is  like receiving a healthy blood transfusion.&lt;br /&gt;
6. Green smoothies are easy to make, and quick to clean up after.  Many people told me that they do not consume green juices on a regular  basis because it is time consuming to prepare green juices and clean the  equipment after juicing, or to drive to the juice bar.&lt;br /&gt;
7. Green smoothies are perfect food for children of all ages,  including babies of six or more months old when introducing new food to  them after mother’s milk. Of course you have to be careful and slowly  increase the amount of smoothies to avoid food allergies.&lt;br /&gt;
8. When you consume your greens in the form of green smoothies, you  can greatly reduce the consumption of oils and salt in your diet.&lt;br /&gt;
9. Regular consumption of green smoothies forms a good habit of  eating greens. Several people told me that after a couple of weeks of  drinking green smoothies, they started to crave and enjoy eating more  greens. Eating enough of green vegetable is often a problem with many  people, especially in children.&lt;br /&gt;
10. Green smoothies can easily be freshly made at any juice bar, restaurant or health food &lt;a href="http://greensmoothiesblog.com/books-dvds/" title="store"&gt;store&lt;/a&gt; for the great convenience of health-oriented customers.
