Write Better jQuery Code for project

"JQuery is most powerful and rich tool for client side development. But improper use of jQuery might become nightmare for developer. In this article I have explained all about what developers are doing and what they should do with jQuery.”

This article aims to explain use of jQuery for rapid and more sophisticated manner. Now a days any website does not only focus on backend functionalities like user registration, adding new friends or validation like stuffs, but also focuses on how their web page will appear to user, how their page will behave in different - different situations. For example, slideshow on front page, onmouseover show beautiful animations, show properly formatted error message or show interactive hints to user for what to do on their site.

So, what is jQuery:

JQuery is very handy and more interactive, powerful and rich client side framework built on Javascript. JQuery is able to handle many powerful stuffs like HTML manipulation, events handling, beautiful animations. And its most attractive feature is it is cross browser. By using plain Javascript we need to make sure for many things like, the code we write is good as well as must be tends to more perfection. It should handle any exception if user enters any other invalid type of values and not just hangs script or show horrible behaviour. But in my career what I have seen is many junior developers are using plain Javascript solution instead of jQuery like rich frameworks and writes numbers of line of code for just doing some small stuffs.

For example, one wants to write code for showing datepicker selection on onclick event. If we are writing code using plain Javascript, what could be the flow is,

1) onclick event create one div element.

2) inside that div, add content for dates, month and year.

3) Add navigation for changing months and year.

4) Need to make sure that, on first client div should show and and on second client div must be hidden, and should not affect any other HTML elements. So, just creating datepicker is little more difficult task and if this needs to implement more times in same page, then it becomes more complex and if code is not properly implemented then doing modification can be a nightmare.

Instead of doing this type of complex things, jQuery comes to rescue in that nightmare. By using jQuery we can show datepicker like this:

$(“#id”).datepicker();

That’s it, we can reuse same code multiple times by just changing id(s) and without any kind of collision we can show multiple datepickers in same page. That is the beautifulness of jQuery. In short, by using jQuery we can focus on more functionality of system, not just only small-small parts of system. Using jQuery we can write more complex code like rich text editor and many other stuffs. But writing jQuery code without proper guidance and proper methodology, we ends up writing code in horrible formation, and sometimes that kind of code becomes more panic for other team members to understand and modify for just small changes.

In my professional career, many times I have seen that, developers make silly mistakes during jQuery code implementation. So, based on some silly mistakes, here is some general guideline that every developer should keep in their mind during implementation of jQuery code.

General guideline for jQuery:

1) Try to use ‘this’ instead of just using id and class of DOM elements. I have seen that most of developers are happy with just using $('#id') or $('.class') every where.

var newValue = (oldValue * 10) / 2;

//What should be done: Try to use more $(this) in your code.

2) Avoid Conflicts: When we are working with cms like wordpress or magento etc. they might have use other Javascript frameworks instead of jQuery. And if you needs to work with jQuery inside that cms or project. Then use noConflicts of jQuery.

var $abc = jQuery.noConflict();

$abc('#id').click(function(){

3) Make Sure for Absent Elements: Make sure that the element on which your jQuery code is working/manipulating is not absent. If the element on which your code will manipulate is adding dynamically then first find it, if that element is added on dom.

$('#divId').find('#someId').length;

This code returns 0 if there is not any element with 'someId' founded else it will return total numbers of elements which are inside 'divId'.

4) Use proper selectors and try to use more ‘find()’, because find can traverse DOM more faster. For example, we want to find content of #id3

5) Write functions wherever required. Generally developers write same code multiple times. What should he do is, first make a flow how that task is going to implement. Find the block that will repeat again and again. For example, on blur of any text box get validated value. If value is empty then return 0 else give values that user has entered. So, there are some way to implement that functionality.

6) Object Organization: This is another thing that each developer needs to keep in mind. If some bunch of variables are related to one task and some bunch of variables are related to another task then make them more organized.

7) Use of Callbacks: When multiple functions are used in your code and if second function is dependent on effects of first output, at that time you need to write callbacks.

For example, task2 needs to be executed after completion of task1 or in other way, you need to halt execution of task2 until task1 is executed. I have seen many developers are not aware of callback functions. So, they either initializing one variable for checking [like mutex in operating system] or setting timeout for execution. Below I have explained how easily you can implement using callback.

8) Use of Each for iteration

9) Never write any code again and again. If so, you are doing wrong holt your coding and read above described all 8 points again.

So, I think this is it for getting started with writing more manageable and reusable code. There are many things that needs to be taken care of during development. Next time I’ll explain how to write more effective plugin with some example.

After filling login details, the user can create invoice immediately. I would recommend going on settings tab and modifying your details accordingly. You can alter business information like address and logo, default messages attached in outgoing email, payment methods and some other default invoicing parameters.

In the left side bar of the application, you can see “My Address Book” which is used to manage your customers. You can add manually or import CSV file of your business contacts at once. Also, there is a section in the sidebar titled as “Products & Services”. In this section, you can add what you are offering to avoid manual entry whenever you create an invoice.

If you create invoices infrequently, above mentioned steps can be skipped. The invoice creation process is straight. You can apply one of the invoice templates available. After filling the information, the invoice can be saved, previewed, printed, or sent by email. In print mode, the invoice can also be saved as pdf.

Invoice Journal

Another Great and Free invoicing application is invoice journal which lets you create invoices for your clients. After signup, invoice journal give you a unique sub domain which can be used for login to your account. The process is very simple. You can create clients and after that start sending invoices for no fee. The application has a nice and very simple user interface which makes it great to use.

BambooInvoice

BambooInvoice is a free and open source application to send and manage professional invoices. One has to install it on its own servers before using it. It is one of my favorite invoicing application as my point of view is that invoicing and your personal finances are sensitive case and you should not leave them to some one else.

The open source software needs php5 and mysql 4.1 databases to work efficiently. It is build using code igniter and really have great user interface. BabmooInvoice is a very active project and you can also get support if you run into any trouble by accessing its forums here. Give it a try and you will love it.

Simple Invoices

Simple invoices is another free and open source invoicing system which you can use to get money from different clients. Like BambooInvoice, you have to install in on your own server to use. The open source application has been translated in to many languages and some developers have also built extensions for it. You can also email your prepared invoice as pdf. Simple invoices has comprehensive documentation so you can install it easily.

Have a look at the user interface of simple invoices. It has been enhanced with Ajax and java script.

Create new controller on ZF

In this tutorial I'll explain how to create new controller and do more interesting stuffs. As I explained in previous post, for most important of controller, that requires directory with same name of controller and inside that, view pages with same name of all actions of controllers. But, this is automatically managed by ZF command line tool. And in Netbeans IDE there is more good interface for executing commands

- in Netbeans project panel --Right Click on project > Zend > Run Command... and interface will be open.

First parameter is "Filter": That similar to search particular command from all command list.
Matching Tasks: This will show you commands matching your query entered in Filter textbox. Select proper command from list. There is text area below list of commands, it'll show you description.
Enter required parameters in "Parameters" textbox.
At very bottom, there is "commad", it'll show you final output command.
and press Run to execute command.
For example, I've created controller named "info".

As Shown above both images, you can see new created controller: "InfoController.php" and for that controller there is "info" directory with .phtml files of actions of controller.

Now, let's modify Info Controller:
- Remove content of index.phhtml and edit indexAction in Controller.

In any controller there is init() and indexAction() as by default. You can create as many functions you want. When any controller executes init() method always executes first, no matter which action you are executing from that controller.

Now, Lets create another action in info controller with its view:

and add some message in anotherAction() function...

and execute...

That's it. This is enough to get started with ZF Controllers.

Controller understanding in ZF

When we create new ZF project, it creates two controllers [ IndexController.php & ErrorController.php ] by default. Controller as also called as Action Controller, because it controls all actions. Controllers are located in the application/controllers directory. The action controller is concerned with out application's control logic and is part of the 3-tier separation the Model-View-Controller offers.

Default Example of controller:

class IndexController extends Zend_Controller_Action

Most Important:

Once one controller is created, then there is some thing you must care about. For example, for IndexController.php, with controller its view file is also created. As shown in image, there is naming conversation for that also. Views directory stores all view files of application. Inside views/scripts, there must be directory with the same name of controller.
So, in this example there must be index directory. And based on action method in controller there should be view file. So, one view file for one action. So, here in this example, there is indexAction in IndexContoller.php, so, in views/scripts/index there is index.phtml

How controller executes:

We can directly call controller from addressbar. example:
http://zf2-local.com executes indexAction() of indexController.php.
so, if you execute http://zf2-local.com/index/ then also output will be same. as like that,
http://zf2-local.com/index/index will also give same output.

In next tutorial we'll modify controllers.

Understanding Directory Structure in ZF

When we create new project in Zend, it creates directory structure for us. On right side image, full directory structure of ZF application is shown.

This structure has four main area, application, library, public, and tests.

Application Directory: Is responsible for holding our application-specific files such as configs, controllers, models, and views. These are basic in any zend framework application, in some zf application there is modules directory, holds different modules required for application. So, This application directory contains main MVC files.

Library directory: Is responsible for holding our supporting classes that not come into the scope of model. Inside library, we have the zend directory that contains the ZF source files.

Test directory: Stores our tests for our application.

Public directory: Is responsible for holding all of our publicly accessible assets such as images,CSS, and JavaScript.

Bootstraping [Bootstrap.php]: This refers to the process of application initialization where we configure, and startup, the MVC process when someone requests a page.

The Index file [index.php]: This file is created under public directory, which is the main entry point for all of the requests to our application. This file points to application, library directory and application environment of application.

.htaccess file: This is important file in application, that rewrites rules for routing.

Application Configuration [application.ini]: This is most important for zf application. This is heart of application. Because, it contains all configurations about our application like php_errors, database connection, & path application, controller, library directory and all routing mechanisms are written here.

Other ways to create project:

Zend Framework having powerful command line interface for doing work more easily. In Zend framework library you downloaded, there is "bin" folder contains zf.sh and zf.bat files.

- First go to the directory where you want to create your project.

- path-to-bin/zf.bat create project project-name

Now, I created virtual-host named http://zf2-local.com. This virtual host points to my public folder not root folder of project.

That's it, if you are able to see this type of page, then your created project works very well.

Webmin is the best server admin panel, but some times it fails to do some jobs. Creating virtual host is one of them. So, I’m explaining code for creating virtual host. This is very easy to do. Just copy paste given code and that’s it.

Step 1) Open Apache2 configuration file

Setup LAMP server on Ubuntu

Install Apache2 server

Install PHP

Install MySQL

sudo apt-get install mysql-server

Install PHPMyAdmin

sudo apt-get install phpmyadmin

And select apache2 as shown in image below,

It'll ask for phpmyadmin configuration and press "NO".

Then type below commands:

sudo cp /etc/phpmyadmin/apache.conf /etc/apache2/conf.d

sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart

Now, open your browser,

uninstall phpmyadmin:

sudo apt-get remove --purge phpmyadmin

Install Heroku toolbelt on Ubuntu

Now a days, Heroku is most successful cloud service. It's all add-on and features are too cool.
To work with Heroku from command line, we need to use Heroku Toolbelt. But some times installing toolbelt on Ubuntu creates problem. So, Here is very simple solution for that.

wget -q0- http://toolbelt.heroku.com/install-ubuntu.sh | sh

Then run heroku login from terminal. Most probably it works. but if it doesn't works then follow below steps:

sudo ln -s /usr/local/heroku/bin/heroku /usr/bin/heroku

And then if you get Error: /usr/bin/env: ruby: No such file or directory. Then install ruby on your computer. Then it'll start working properly.

How to make user login with Google Account in your site

In many sites you might have noticed that, there are many options for login. Means to login into that site you can use Google, Yahoo, AOL etc. accounts.

You can integrate Google account for your site very easily. To make this we'll use OpenID. OpenID provides a safe, elegant and easy way for people to login into your website without having to fill in a registration form. They just have to have an account to one OpenID provider, a Google account for instance, and they will login into your site with this account.

dI'll show you how to implement it with Google Account.

1.) We'll be using a one-file PHP OpenID library that you can download from here. LightOpenID. Just put this file in your project folder.

2.) Now, Here is login.php

Getting Started : Integrate ZF with NetBeans IDE

Now, you are ready with zend framework installation in your computer. So, let's integrate ZF with NetBeanse IDE.

Open your NetBeans IDE and active PHP Plugin module in you IDE and then follow these steps :

Step : 1

-> As shown in this figure. Open Options from Tools menu. and open PHP -> Zend tab. Then press search box highlighted in image.

-> It'll open box like above image. It'll search for zf.sh (for Linux), zf.bat (for windows), select zf.sh and press OK.
->Now, press register provider and hit OK.
-> Now, goto "General" tab on PHP option.

-> Then Press "OK".

That's it. You have successfully integrated, Zend Framework with NetBeans IDE.

Getting Started : Zend Framework Installation

Before get into zend framework project, let's understand a few things about ZF.
The core of ZF is a loosely coupled application framework that consists of a library of components.

These components are well written in object-oriented PHP. They can be used independently. It means that, you need to include those libraries which are required for your project, not to include all library of ZF.

Install Zend Framework

--> For Windows :

Download latest ZF from official site of Zend Framework.
extract that folder. "ZendFramework-1.11.11-minimal"
open file in command tool,
cd ZendFramework-1.11.11-minimal / bin / zf.bat
type : zf --help

--> For Linux (Fedora) :

login as a root user from terminal.
Type These all commands : "rpm -Uvh http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-stable.noarch.rpm"
rpm -Uvh http://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree/fedora/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-stable.noarch.rpm

After a long pause, I'm back with new tutorials, about Zend Framework.

Who This Tutorial Is For,

These tutorials are for PHP programmers who have at least some experience working with object-oriented programming. It would help to have some familiarity with Zend Framework, but you'll learn a lot about the framework over the course of tutorials.

Prerequisites,

To follow along with the examples, you will need a computer on which you can install a local testing zend server. I've used Fedora Linux server. Use NetBeans as IDE or any other editor you like.

Why Zend Framework ?

The Zend Framework is really a hybrid framework and as such can be used in a much larger range of projects than strict “application frameworks”. While many components in Zend Framework can be used stand-alone like a component library; it is, at its core an implementation of the “Model-View-Controller” (MVC) pattern.

There are many other frameworks available, but these are most widely adopted by developers.

Each of these frameworks is built in PHP language, but they differ in their methods and libraries.

Each of these frameworks has been released as open source projects, which means that a lot of development work relies on community support. Tracking bugs, writing supporting documentations, and providing general support are tasks that involve developers like you.

ZEND FRAMEWORK

Zend Framework was arguably the first framework to be built for PHP. Its corporate sponsor, Zend Technologies, has a long history with the PHP language itself; its founders include two of the original authors of PHP, Andi Gutmans and Zeev Suraski. Much of what has made PHP one of the most popular web programming languages started with Zend Technologies and its contributions to the language. That being said, no wonder Zend Framework has had early success and continues to be a major player in the PHP frameworks market.

In terms of community support, Zend Framework has probably the largest online following of any of the PHP frameworks. Its documentation is extensive and thorough, and unofficial blogs and forums make it possible to get online support for just about any question. Code submissions to the core are passed through rigorous testing methods, which makes Zend Framework an incredibly robust framework. However, Zend Framework is much more of a large set of libraries than a lightweight MVC framework. For instance, its main library folder is almost 16MB, more than three times the size of Cake’s libraries. Getting Zend Framework off the ground requires much more customization and configuration, whereas Cake has adopted more of the “convention over configuration” paradigm. You could likely use Zend Framework with just about any PHP project, which I'll demonstrate in tutorials.

Zend Framework has no single development paradigm like Cake, CodeIgniter, and

Symfony, and that appeals to many developers. Patterns like MVC are therefore possible in Zend Framework, but these require you to manually write configuration methods, which are automatically built into Cake and other frameworks. Cake is certainly ahead of Zend Framework in how the framework cuts down the amount of code needed to extend it. Learning Zend Framework is generally more time-consuming than learning Cake, mostly because of the design of the framework. Getting an MVC variant of Zend Framework off the ground is usually more difficult for a beginner than Symfony, not to mention Cake.

True, Zend Framework is more well known than Cake in most PHP circles; it’s the veteran on the team, if you will. But Cake is proving to be more like the rising star that moves faster and is strategically sounder. Given Cake’s effective implementation of the MVC structure and its structural design, it will likely continue to attract former Zend Framework developers and remain the top player in the PHP frameworks arena.

CODEIGNITER

CodeIgniter’s community is relatively small when compared to CakePHP but does have a good support network online. Its user guide (www.codeigniter.com/user_guide) is well designed and has a nice layout for navigating through the table of contents. Many of the concepts used by Cake are also used by CodeIgniter, such as the MVC structure, helpers, routing, scaffolding, and caching. The support network is great, with a forum that boasts more than 66,000 topics and more than 400,000 posts. However, a lot of the topics there aren’t directly related to code development issues like Cake’s discussion group. In a sense, CodeIgniter’s forums and wiki are more like combining Cake’s discussion group, Bakery, and CakeForge. The number of websites built on CodeIgniter is smaller than that for Cake, but CodeIgniter is off to a good start and will likely become a more popular framework in the future.

Starting a CodeIgniter application takes less time than setting up a Cake application; however, some configuration methods that come preinstalled with Cake are left out with CodeIgniter. For example, setting up routes to behave like they do in Cake will require that you manually write an .htaccess file to pass paths through a similar routing engine. By default, CodeIgniter is more lightweight than Cake, which is one of its chief selling points. However, as you expand your CodeIgniter application, expect to have to perform an extra step here or there to achieve the same functionality you get from Cake.

The MVC structure in CodeIgniter is similar to Cake’s. Because of this, the general process of creating models, views, and controllers is nearly identical to what you learn when building Cake applications. Aside from minor differences in passing data around the application and naming conventions, running CodeIgniter is largely the same experience as in Cake. However, where Cake wins is with its powerful core classes, helpers, routes, and data-handling methods. The available resources and built-in functionality are more robust in Cake and, frankly, more cohesive. In other words, Cake developers will probably think they have taken a step backward when fully immersing themselves in CodeIgniter, though they will undoubtedly think they are in familiar territory. That’s not to say that CodeIgniter isn’t already a fabulous framework; it’s just that it separates methods into its several resources less effectively than Cake. In a nutshell, the Cake paradigm is more about making the model fat and spreading out the various methods; CodeIgniter makes for very large controllers.

SYMFONY

Symfony entered the PHP frameworks arena early on and has remained popular. Its community is also large with developers groups, forums, a chat room, a wiki, and more. All of the main links to these various online groups and sites are available on Symfony’s community web page (www.symfony-project.com/community).

After you have successfully begun a Symfony application, you will need to initialize your data source connections using the command line as well as perform other setup tasks. Generating the scaffolding is also done in the console, but the final result is similar to Cake’s scaffolding. Building models is primarily done using YAML-based configurations together with the symfony console script. If you prefer YAML to JSON or XML for configuring your database schema, then Symfony will probably suit you well. Cake really doesn’t compare in this regard because its methods for connecting to a data source don’t involve the command line (even though you can use Bake to write your database.php configuration file and build models).

When extending the Symfony application to take on more methods, many of the same concepts that make Cake effective are used. The learning curve is steeper when going from Cake to Symfony, mainly because the benefits Symfony offers are usually found in its command-line interface. However, Symfony users shouldn’t find learning Cake all that difficult. It may take some getting used to running fewer commands in the console, but on the whole, you shouldn’t have to perform any more steps to build your Cake applications than you would expect for a Symfony application.

CAKEPHP

Duplication throughout the community is kept to a minimum, so expect to be directed to a thread or blog post that someone has already used to address the same topic when asking a question or requesting support. You will also probably sense a feeling of perfectionism in the community. What I mean by that is this—the Cake Software Foundation, which manages Cake’s development, could have easily taken shortcuts when developing the framework. Compared to other frameworks, Cake would already be considered a version 3.0 or 4.0, but it’s currently at 1.2. This is due more to really tightening up the framework rather than cooking up something fast that could perform a large plethora of methods. The result of this strategy is that Cake really is more robust, mature, and well written than it otherwise would be, and you can count on it maintaining its robustness as it takes on more fancy methods.

Then "Which framework is right for me ?"

In each framework, you might notice powerful features than other framework, but selection of framework is always depends on which type of project you want to develop. Because, every framework has its own power to drive a site properly. In all framework powered sites, 60-65% site powered by Zend Framework, because of its beautiful and awesomeness.

To answer the question fully though, we really have to examine why we use a framework. Aside from the “two choices” scenario described above, programmers use a framework to simplify application development by providing much of the common code. A good framework will also enforce some structure on the code. However, be wary of any framework that enforces rigid style conventions that you do not already adhere to. Your chosen framework should be flexible enough to adapt to the style and needs of your project.

The ultimate goal when selecting a framework, is to find one that allows you to work in a way that is natural to you, provides you the services that are most common to your application and allows you to concentrate on building the code business logic of your application.

To be fair though, the right framework for you is the one that lets you be productive quickest and leverage your new skills the longest.

PHP : MDULE 0 Framework

It was a 1st time, during designing video sharing site inspired by youtube, I've designed single tier php framework, but didn't got any success. Because, it was easy to hack in less time.

So, during Italian large scale healthcare project "SalusBank", I redesigned that framework again, and use the real power of PHP engine. This new framework has more much capabilities against simple hacking, yet not covered more security features. But by using Apache and your server you can add more security features.

So, any framework developer can be easily contribute to project to make it bigger and beautiful. This framework is in its baby stage at Alpha 0.0 version. And It'll be publicly available at last week of August.

PHP Uploader in Fedora server

When Linux comes in mind, we always imagine about its powerful security and privileges for all files and directories. we have to change right being as administrator.
If you have configured as per any tutorials , then it'll perfectly work for your web development. But some things are still remaining.
In most of projects, we want at-least some small document or photo up-loader. So, by default, if you direct uses code of upload in php, it'll give error.

so, follow these steps for healing this problem.

step 1 : in which directory, item will be uploaded, give permission to "apache" for that directory.
chown apache /destination-directory-path/

now, fire : ls -la

now, this destination directory will show you like this.

drwxr-xr-x 2 apache savan 4096 Jun 14 17:34 destination-dir

now, you can use your any php uploader code logic. I'll upload perfectly.

in short, you have give permissions to "apache" and it'll start working well.

Setup Server on Fedora 16

Hello, I've used Fedora 14 for all time and for my project works and developments. I think it was a very stable version of Fedora family. Then I moved to Fedora 16. It's gnome 3 environment was great. I became fan of it. and I installed it in my personal laptop also. But when I was starting server httpd it was not starting properly. and was throwing failure for starting server.

So, in this post I'll include that, how I set up server on my laptop.

step 1 : Remove httpd server inbuilt with fedora 16. [if you've installed from your Fedora DVD. ]
yum remove httpd

this will remove httpd as well as php from your system.

step 2 : Again install httpd server.
yum install httpd
yum install php
this will install properly configured apache httpd server.

step 3 : now start httpd server.
service httpd start

Now, it'll work properly and goto your browser.

Install PHPMyAdmin in Fedora server

This is about to install phpmyadmin in your Fedora based servers. That can simplify your task to manage database. So, no need to use terminals and fire queries in database.

1.) yum install phpmyadmin
2.) now open terminal and login into mysql database

now type :
CREATE USER 'admin'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'admin';
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO 'admin'@'localhost' WITH GRANT OPTION;

3.) now open browser -> type : http://localhost/phpmyadmin -> enter user name and password : admin

Fedora Server

If you have installed Fedora server and want to configure server, i.e. http and mysql are already installed with your fedora. then this tutorial is for you.

Step 1 :
Open your terminal and login as a super user.

Step 2 :
type:
a.) service httpd start [for starting http server].

b.) service mysqld start [for starting mysql server]

Step 3 :

to see your http server started or nor ? : open browser -> type : http://locahost/ then it'll show you default page of server.
to see your mysql server : open new terminal -> type : mysql -u root

to start services from booting operating system:

chkconfig --levels 235 httpd on [for http server]
chkconfig --levels 235 mysqld on [for mysql server]

Now, your http and database servers are ready to use.

to put your content in your server, put them all in /var/www/html directory.

Note : To install http and mysql server from ground I'll explain it in next tutorial.

2.) reach there using terminal.

Mozilla lays out goal for multi-process FireFox

The non-profit organization, Mozilla, has laid out plans for the engineering behind FireFox, with the aim to make the browser spread even more of its workload between multiple processes.

Mozilla's Chirs Blizzard mentions in a blog post : "What this means is that every release of FireFox will get faster, more stable and have better multi-web page interactive performance even if it doesn't include support for multiple processes. But we know that in order to get across some hurdles, we're going to need to invest in the multi-process model. That's what this post is about. Multi-process is not a panacea for any of these topics, but it does give us a leg up on some of the more systemic problems."
