by John James

As they say life is too short to deny yourself the
chance of being happy. So, are you happy? If you love listening to music
you must have heard the track "Don't Worry, Be Happy" by Bobby
McFerrin. The song has a message that gives hope to anyone who is
stressed.

A happy life is also good for a person's health. This
way you also avoid pressures of life. Research has disclosed that stress
is responsible for the high number of deaths. When you are stressed you
can't think clearly. It just destroys your self-esteem.

"The
only thing in life that will remain the same is change." This is the
best quote I've ever had. This statement is applicable in our lives. The
fact that any situation we are facing is certain to change is where we
find solace.

Finding
happiness is as easy as deciding that you want to be happy. After
observing humans behaviour Abraham Lincoln concluded that they're the
ones who decide their outlook. However, it is easy to make a choice that
will make you happy. Below are some facts about happiness.

1.)
Be thankful. This is an attitude that you can nurture easily. Thank
anyone who delivers a service that you needed regardless of their social
class. The person you should always thank is God, he has given you the
free gift of life.

2.) At times news can be stressing so get it
in small doses. Some folks prefer to get news before starting the day's
activity. Come to think of it, almost 99% of the news is usually bad
news. Beginning a day with bad news is not the best way to start a day.

3.)
Another thing about being happy is getting hooked up to the church. Use
your time participating in church activities. Some of the activities
include singing, praying and sharing scriptures that bring hope.

4.)
Manage your time. Any time you are free do not waste that chance.
Coming up with a schedule and prioritising important things are closely
related to time management. These are the essentials of life.

5.)
Laugh out loud each day. You can tell your friends that joke that you
heard. Besides, "laughter is the best natural medicine."

6.) Show
compassion to those surrounding you. Your affection will be appreciated
by the people. If you are irritated don't let your anger get the best
of you. You should keep quite because the words you say at such times
will not do you any good.

7.) Personal satisfaction springs from
hard work. You feel competent by doing so. Your time should be spent
doing something helpful.

8.) Take some time to learn. Everyday's
experience should give you a lesson. Learning prepares us for the
future. In addition to that you have to do exercise that keeps you fit.

9.) Avoid negative elements. For example, toxins and loud noises are not conducive for humans beings.

Now
you know being happy isn't difficult as you thought. Money cannot buy
you happiness. "Most people are about as happy as they make up their
minds to be" is a quote from Lincoln that you need to remember always.

Learn How To Be A Happy Soul

by Taiana Camarado

When I was at school, everyone always called me Happy Soul. They said every time they saw me I was always smiling and seemed happy! If you are not feeling very happy, chances are you are spending your time thinking not so happy thoughts; or, you are simply not doing those things that make you feel happy, often enough. The theory is that whatever you focus on expands. That's a well-known principle of life that many people have discovered. If you don't like anything, and it doesn't make you happy, why would you want to have it in your life? You wouldn't, Id hope!

Now that you know this unique principle, can you stop focusing on stuff you don't want? A friend of mine told me a story. Hes retired now, but hen he was teaching classes on how the human mind works, he asked a group of people in a large class, to think of a number from 1 to 10. Then, think of carrot, and then select a color.

From listening to the audio of the class, I recognized that he was using a mind game to lead them in a certain direction. The majority of the people chose 7, carrot, orange! I knew what he was doing, and more than 90% of the group got all 3 correct, and voila had given them confirmation of their mind power. Sure, it was a game, but he was expanded their minds in just one minute to believe that they were powerful intuits.

He said, Ive just demonstrated how intuitive you can be without even trying. Next, he asked the students to recall their favorite moments with their family, when they were kids, and everyone was smiling. Then, he asked everyone to remember their first kiss and everyone had big grins. He continued with stimulating memories: the first time we made love, the most passionate time we made love, and then everyone was moving in their seats.

Last, he told us to remember our most frightening moments in life and we were shaking and crying" and he said: now that you are all scared let me tell you this: What you think about happens. Whatever you think with either happy feelings or fearful feelings can happen easily! Those emotions make them happen faster. Emotions, he said, are the key to making all of it happen.

Emotions are feelings, they are emotional energy, they are psychic energy and its vital to harness and control that energy for good reasons and goals, not to experience any fear or horror because that will screw up your life plan and life style.

Now, you too, can break through the barriers, remove all barriers in your life, have success, enjoy wellness, experience awesome levels of happiness, feel a motivational spirit within, develop more self motivation, motivate yourself and others, improve your health, be more healthy than ever before, feel inspiration day, inspire others, know the secrets of life, and reach your own potential.

Some can be avoided, but as we know, many cannot. Some people handle stress better than others, and some even thrive onit.Regardless, stress takes its toll.

Stress has been proven to rid your body of many essential vitamins and minerals. Particularly vitamins C, E, and B. This leads to lethargy, lower focussed mental activities (clinically stress causes more erratic brain activity and a reduction in short term and long term memory), drying out and aging of the skin (in some), and in others a increase in the sebaceous gland activity - which usually brings postules, acne, and rosacea - which all bring more stress as we then become more entangled in how others view our physical appearance.

We cannot stop all stress, but we can take steps to stop or limit its toll on our skin and body. Take a full vitamin suplament every day. Eat a well balanced diet - especially fish meat like salmon (high in omega 3's which is proven to increase brain function and cellular activity, but it also is proven to reduce the aging process of the skin and make cuts and bruises heal faster). Eat more raw fruits and vegetables - atleast 5 servings per day - you will see a notable difference in 4-6 weeks and you will feel better (along with better colon health.

Exercise more often. Aerobic exercise has been proven to release powerful hormones that actually counteract the harmful chemicals and results of stress as it will also improve your bodys abilities to cope with oxidants.

I can't say enough about meditation and prayer. Study after study have proven a reduction in every skin and body malody even cancer symptoms from people that pray and meditate daily. Take 20 minutes every day and do this you will also live longer.

The latest rage is skin peels for a quick fix. Skin peels will slough off the top layers of skin and reveal fresher, cleaner skin. The most effective are TCA peels and phenol peels (phenol peels are dangerous and should only be performed by a licensed plastic surgeon). TCA, trichloroacetic acid, is a medium depth skin peel that works on the most skin ailments - aging skin, sun damage, even has been proven to treat and cure acne. No other skin peel can safely do all that a TCA peel can.

So there you have it - clear, younger skin in 500 words. Great advice to follow and don't forget to always run anything new by your doctor. They are licensed for a reason and know whats best for you. by your doctor. They are licensed for a reason and know whats best for you.
Does your Soul have a Home? – By Joseph Ghabi

How do you feel when you see homeless people on the street? Many of us feel disgusted when we look at them and others do not even acknowledge their existence as if they’re worthless and irrelevant. Some of us even consider them as being nothing but drunks and junkies. We all have different ways of interpreting the lives of these people, but in the end, we all believe that they are less fortunate than ourselves.

Some of us already understand that perhaps something in a homeless person’s life went wrong and forced them to be where they are. Some people might even say that a homeless person became that way because the pressures of living in society drove them to it. Perhaps they felt misunderstood because they were too ‘open’ and in touch with their deeper soul essence, when unfortunately our limited society is yet unable to recognize philosophies and life ideas from the nature of a soul perspective. Those people likely ended up lost and feeling ‘out of place’ wandering around with a feeling that nothing in their lives really matters in terms of their understanding from a higher level. It can be very difficult to survive in a world where the ‘mundane’ seems to matter most.

It has even been discovered that some of the homeless are rich! So it is not always the case that they are less fortunate than us in a financial sense. I recall a situation that happened some time ago, a homeless man was discovered dead and they found out he had over 3 million dollars stashed away in his bank! In the end, whether they are rich or poor, these people are still homeless right now and why?

I checked the internet for the definition of the word ‘home’ and I found this interesting definition “An environment providing security and happiness”. So there are many of us in the world who have a roof over our head, yet we neither feel secure or happy. Do we think we are any more fortunate than the people living on the streets who do not have a building to live in? Are we any more human in essence than those people because we claim to own a few slabs of concrete? Tell me, don’t we still have many issues to deal with even though we have a place to live in, probably even more issues to deal with than those people who do not have the responsibility of maintaining a ‘home establishment’. As an example, what is the difference between a homeless person drinking alcohol to compensate for his or her problems and doing the same thing in the comfort of our own dwelling? If you ask me there is no difference at all, it is only a matter of status!

How do we define someone who is homeless? A homeless person is simply a person without a place to live. The number of homeless people is growing rapidly all over the world and what are we doing about it? Nothing really! It seems to be more important to us to go to the moon or mars and creates bombs worth millions of dollars! What the hell, if we can’t solve any of our problems then let’s just blow ourselves away!

In terms of the rest of us who consider ourselves fortunate for having a roof over our head, would you ever think of yourself as being homeless? I bet most of you are now saying “NO, HELL NO! What are you talking about? I have a home, two cars, a home theatre, a Nintendo machine or an Xbox, many games. I go out every week and have fun!” Let’s now consider the definition of the word ‘home’ once again ‘An environment providing security and happiness’. Now with that in mind, let me clarify my question again. With all that you have materially and aesthetically in your life today, are you sincerely happy in your life? How many times per day are you aware of a deep sense of loneliness? Do you ever feel an inner emptiness and as though there is something missing in life, yet you do not know what it is?

Most of us do feel this way on a regular basis, but are unable to determine what the problem is. We keep buying more and more stuff; we keep ourselves busy eating, drinking, smoking, entertaining and getting wasted on alcohol and drugs in order to avoid dealing with life. We can deny it for as long as we like, but in the end it is us who suffers and regardless of how we try to suppress things, that feeling that we are lonely, unhappy and that we are missing something will not go away. How many of us have bought stuff, yet in reality we don’t really have space for any more stuff in our life? How many of us are bored with life? How many of us feel a prevailing sense of lack of purpose?

The reason we came to this plane in the first place was because our Soul made the decision to do so. Then we were born. On the other hand, had your soul decided not to come to spend a life in this plane, you would not be here today. So if your soul decided to come here for a purpose and you are not living up to that and carrying out your souls task, then you will always feel you are missing something in your life. You will always feel that inexplicable void and loneliness deep inside of you; you might not feel truly happy.

What is it that prevents us from fulfilling our Souls task? It is quite simply our human limitations, our stubbornness, our fear of experiencing humility, our pride, our ego and our resistance to change that prevents us. When you try to fulfill your life with material things as a substitute for connecting to your Soul, this will never substitute for the need to look more deeply into your life and its purpose.

Making yourself appear happy on the outside in front of everyone, yet when you are alone you are as miserable as can be, serves no purpose at all. After all, is it just about appearances?? Who is getting hurt in reality? Living superficially will never bring harmony into your life for a simple reason, you are contradicting yourself. The funny part here is that many of us are somehow aware that we are living in this way, yet we still keep on doing it! My question is just how long are you prepared to keep it up? Will it be until the day you die and leave this earth life without accomplishing much of what your soul had intended in the first place? That is a waste of a lifetime.

My questions to you now are very simple. Are you homeless? Does your Soul have a home? Take a deeper look at your self, into your own being and take a good look at what you are doing with your life. Is this the life you really want to live and the path you desire to continue walking on? In reality, life is simple, yet on most occasions, we make things more complicated than necessary. From now on, just set yourself free and begin doing things for yourself and for the right reasons and always with a pure intention. Try to discover what is good for your soul and then do it! Most of all, always remember you are never ever alone!

I know this thing with all my heart, and with all my soul, and with all my being.

I know that I have the choice to be who I am, when I am, where I am.

I may not have a choice, today, about what I do for a living, where I live, or what kind of car I drive.

But if who I am today is a writer, I'm a writer, even if I live in a homeless shelter, write on paper bags with stubs of pencils, and take the bus to a job in a fast food joint to try to get out of the shelter.

If who I am today is a writer, I'm a writer, even if my kids are sick, my car is broken down, my computer won't boot and I haven't sold anything in years.

But if who I am today is a writer, and I decide that who I should be is a doctor, I'm going to be pretty miserable, because who I am is a writer.

On the other hand, if I'm a writer who wants to become a doctor, I've got a great handle on who I am, who I want to be, and probably an idea of whether it's possible and how to get there.

Never lose sight of who you are. Be who you are, no matter where you are, or when you are.

Be you.

What is the big deal with confidence?

What is the big deal with confidence. Why do some people have so much and others are struggling just to get their name out wondering why they missed out or something. Well we're all living in this box, and until we realize that we're not and then here we are... "obstacles are the things we see when we take our eyes off our goals"

Is it possible to teach confidence? Well, yes. Anything is possible!

Take drinking for example. Drinking is of course a way of releaving stress but really in turn most of the time creates more...much more...? who would tend to agreee with me? Like you had a long week or exams or life just isn't getting you places or your life is too hard and seems like there is no way out or how about Asia. Everybody is just so damn busy and has no time for families or friends so when they do get the chance they want to drink it away. Then once the drinking begins. The talk starts of changing lives and big hopes and money and next minute. Heads are huge if they weren't already before.

Guess what you wake up no closer to your dreams but have a nasty head ache and are probaby tired or else have wasted half of your day sleeping!Confidence you gain when your drinking isn't really yours.

So if you don't get your confidence from drinking where does it come from then? well 1st of all lets clear our heads and think straight here. hope you didn't drink last night! Well everybody has to discover their own confidence and some people may discover theirs quicker and some people may never quite find all of it. well just listen to your heart and block out the stuff that isn't bringing you in the right direction

I've grown up with my fair shair of love but know people who haven't and all I can say is that I belive in you even if you don't yet! Have you seen the "Conte of Monte Cristo"? Well God belives in you as well even if you don't believe or have faith in him! Change can be hard but the hardest thing I thing would be too look back on a life of regret or chances that we didn't take.

The only real regrets we'll have when its all said and done is the chances that we didn't take.

We'll never truly know what were capable of until we go to far or "dreams are the limits of our success.

Never give up. It's never to late for anything!!!

How does one go one or embrace life after depression and anxiety? How does one continue loving life after a huge emotional stress?

Dealing and coping with depression and anxiety is possible. But to deal and to face anxiety and depression head-on is important to understand how it works and how to get rid of it. Emotional stress need not control our life. If depression is a medically caused condition, there are drugs that can help. If the depression is caused by an environmental condition from previous experience, there are therapies that can help.

On the other hand, what makes anxiety fully damaging to our life. There is an association we make certain stimuli that is beneficial under normal circumstances. However if the stimulus is present to much of the time, or else the associations are too strong, then permanent life-damaging anxiety will be the result.

Depression, like its sister condition anxiety can be caused by several factors. To cope with our depression we will have to look into the personality of the person. Coping with depression means getting rid of it altogether. To cope with depression and anxiety, get back to the feelings. Take a look into the current emotional activity and emotional history developed since childhood.

After embracing your feelings and emotions, it is important to take the next step. Finding someone to share your feelings and emotional activity. Sometimes all we need is somebody to listen to our sufferings and mirror back to us our feelings to validate them. You are not alone with your feelings. Emotions should not be stored up, unprocessed, boxed in our minds. They should be let go or else it may lead to unhealthy perceptions of life.

To cure mild to sever anxiety there are several methods that can be undertaken:

• Medications called minor tranquilizers can be induced by the patient. Although taking medication to recover from emotional stress may lead to physical dependence and the likely recurrence of panic and anxiety symptoms when the medication is stopped.

• Exercise and relaxation techniques can also be done. Anxiety or panic attacks are of physical component, techniques for relaxing the body are an important part of the treatment plan. Any mental health professional can teach relaxation and stress reduction techniques.

• Cognitive-behavioral therapy is a psychotherapy that can help the patient to alter anxious self talk and mistaken beliefs that give the body anxiety producing messages.

• Stimulants are also present in the food that we are eating. Therefore, it is important to monitor diet and nutrition. Stimulant like caffeine and nicotine can aggravate anxiety. Even sugar and other food sensitivities can make people feel anxious.

• Support groups can be a great help. There are groups of people that can relate to what you are going through. The group can share experiences and recovery methods.

When you are on your way to recovering from depression and anxiety, keep in mind to be always be in touch with your feelings. Stay connected. Staying close to your friends and family can improve your mood. Being social can have a positive impact on recovery and survival. The more in touch you are with your feelings, the smoother the recover is.

The faster you can start loving life and living life again.

How to reduce stress at your job to make it easier to handle

Going to work everyday can get stressful. You can also avoid this type of thing from happening. You can do this by not worrying about things that are going on at home while you are at work. It will help avoid having stress at work. Don’t leave the stress at home neither; leave it out of your head. Now that is the best way of avoiding stress period.

If the stress is caused by other employee’s, try to avoid having to talk to them. Don’t worry about what they think of you. All you need to do is focus on what you need to get accomplished for the day. A job that deals with working with a lot of people can be stressful, if you let it, especially if you have to deal with mean people. The best thing to do is handle them the best way you can, and then don’t worry about it after it has been done and over with.

There are different jobs that can be stressful in different ways. A job dealing with animals is not that stressful until you start worrying about different things that can happen. You may worry about not making enough money from the animals to pay the bills. Don’t worry about it until you find out for sure. If you own your own business, it can be stressful, but if you keep up with every thing it should all work out with no worries or stress. You may have a job that only you work by your self. You could get stress by not being able to accomplish all the work by your self, but if you put your mind to it, you should be able to do this without stressing your self.

Most stress at your job is when your job involves more than one person. The other people may try to tell you to do something that the boss told you not to do. You tell them this and it causes problems that could get stressful if you don’t do something about it. Once you talk to the boss about you problem you will feel relieved, and you will have less stress.

You could stress your self out even if you don’t have a job, by worrying about where you are going to get a job. Finding a job can be stressful also because you don’t know what type of job you want. You also could stress when you do find a job, but don’t have experience in what you’re going to do. Don’t stress about it that is why most jobs have training before you are on your own. Stress is the last thing you want to do at your job because your job is what you do to get your money to use to enjoy your life.

In many ways they are right.

If you are a very goal-orientated person then it is inevitable that you will encounter obstacles on your way to achievement and success. The bigger the goal the more set-backs there seem to be. These obstacles and set-backs can act as tests. They test your character and your resolve. Each barrier that is overcome and each challenge that is met head on develops your character, belief in yourself and strengthens your resolve to succeed not matter what.

However, when the same obstacles keep showing up over and over again and failure seems to be a common occurrence it's time to re-evaluate your approach to your goals. These recurring problems are an indication of your inability to learn from the temporary failures you are experiencing. The conscious mind is obviously having trouble analysing the reasons behind the failures and keeps making the same mistakes.

At this point some outside help is needed. Obviously you are unable to consciously work through the trouble you are having and it must be a subconscious block that is preventing you from learning your lesson and moving forward. In such situations hypnosis and self hypnosis can be of immense vale. Either Hypnosis or Self Hypnosis can most definitely be used successfully and effectively to get to the root of the problem and eliminate it forever.

One extremely powerful benefit of using hypnosis is the ability to train your mind to stay focused on the successful attainment of your goal. You can program a specific outcome and retain the ability to consciously divert your attention to it in a positive, success-affirming manner. You can also eliminate self-sabotage and remove the negative feelings and thoughts that are blocking your path to success.

Here are some tips for using hypnosis as a goal achievement tool.

1. Visualize. Program yourself with your desired outcome. While under the influence of self hypnosis visually imagine that your goal is already accomplished and your objective has been reached. See it as real. See it through your own eyes and experience all the wonderful feelings associated with that goal attainment.

2. Persistence. Get down into your subconscious mind and change your inner character traits to match those people who NEVER give up. Program your subconscious mind to be persistent regardless of what is going on in any given situation. Post hypnotic suggestions to develop an iron will and persistent approach to your goals will be invaluable in times of stress and disillusionment.

3. Think Positive. Learn to think positively. The subconscious mind has a tendency to replay past memories and throw them back into consciousness in the form of doubts and fears. Through the use of self hypnosis you can totally eliminate them. Program your subconscious mind to think positively and expect positive results.

4. Program out the Problem. Enevitably some problem will arise when you pursue worthwhile goals. Through hypnosis you can solve these problems fairly rapidly. While in trance see yourself successfully traversing the obstacle. You don't have to see how you did it, just see yourself at the other side, relieved, happy and proud that you "figured it out" and reached the other side. If this, in itself, is a probelm for you, or you find it hard to do then seek the advice of a qualified hypnotherapist. A competent hypnotherapist will find the root of your problem probably in the fits consultation!

5. Pre-pave your path. Imagine yourself meeting the right people and being in the right place at the right time. Program your mind like this, through the power of hypnosis, and your subconscious mind will pick up on non-verbal clues, process the millions of bits of information you receive every second and guide you to the right course of action.

6. Develop faith Use hypnosis to convince the subconscious mind that your goal is already a reality. "Fake it till you make it". Fool your subconscious mind into believing the "real" world is actually exactly like the world you have been visualizing. In the deeply relaxed state that hypnosis offers you can get fully involved in your mental image. Really feel how great it is to have already accomplished all those things you wanted for so long. Enjoy the fact that you are enjoying the benefits of having reached that goal.

Follow these six steps and use them with the power of hypnosis and you will be catapulted towards your goal faster than you can imagine.

If you no longer know where are you going to get the resources that you need to get past through the days, you will be faced with an even bigger dilemma. Where are you going to find the strength just so you will be able to live past the tough times and survive the whole situation?

It’s all in the attitude. If you will face each day thinking that you will be defeated, what do you think will happen? You must practice looking at the brighter side of things. The economy is unpredictable. You do not know what tomorrow will bring. So you have to prepare for the good and worst that you may be faced with as days go by.

Here are some reminders that you can consider if you are faced with such situation.

1. Think positive. There are many advantages that this will cause you. This attitude will prove to be beneficial especially at times when you are feeling so low and think that nothing seems to be going right. By looking at the negative things and aspects at a positive note, you will be able to conquer everything with the right attitude and a warm heart.

You cannot stop hunger, poverty, war and the other problems in the world. It is okay to be concerned and help in your own little ways. But you have to face your own situation first. What are the problems that you are continuously faced with? You have to learn how to cope on your situation and emerge a better person throughout it all.

You must always start with your own life. You cannot help in creating a better world if you will not create a better life for yourself first. You must always think positive and act with glee on all the things that you do. This way, despite the weary situation that you are faced with, you can still find some light and reasons to smile and act kindly to be able to face the days ahead with the right attitude and a brighter outlook.

2. Know who you are. You must understand your strengths and weaknesses to know how you can handle things better. The problems that you are faced with help define you as a person. In understanding the scope in which you can handle such hurdles, you will be able to face the situation with more maturity and understanding as to where life is leading you.

3. Maintain a lifestyle that you can support. Sometimes, people are lured to money and more of it. They are eaten by greed and desire. After tasting some luxury, they will want more and experience such extravagance even if they can no longer afford it.

What do you hear people complaining about these days? They are indebted to credit card companies for being lured to acquire more than what they can really afford. Credit cards give people false hopes and take away their attention to the real ways into loving life.

These can buy you things that you have been wanting for a very long time even if you really cannot afford to pay up for them. In the end, what happens is that your bill becomes too much a burden that you can no longer think of ways of how you can ever repay for your purchases.

Increasing Prosperity With Positive Thinking

Increasing prosperity in our lives can be accomplished by having the right frame of mind. The truth is, our thoughts are very powerful. They are capable of influencing every aspect of our daily lives, from our physical health to our social behaviors. I'm sure you've heard the adage, "As you think, so shall you be."

If we want to improve our lives, we must first improve our thoughts. Harnessing the power of thought in a positive way has the ability to create great change in our lives, including our financial well-being and prosperity. But how? How do we take something as intangible as thoughts, and manifest them into a physical reality?

We must first understand that being prosperous is more than having a lot of money. Prosperity is a mindset, a way of interacting in our lives, and a way of thinking. Mastering this train of thought is not easy, but it is simple enough if we keep working on it consistently.

Following are some ideas to help you improve your thoughts, and ultimately attract more prosperity into your life:

Be grateful for the blessings in your life right now. Take a few minutes each day to express heartfelt gratitude for the good things in your life. Even more powerful, write a few of these blessings down each day. This helps to put your focus in the right direction -- on abundance, not lack.

Use positive affirmations to begin training yourself to think positively. Use "I am" statements such as "I am worthy of all that is good." Write the statements down and repeat them nightly before bed. Over time, this will implant these thoughts into your subconscious mind, and you will begin to naturally believe them.

Creative visualization can help you achieve prosperity by determining what it is you wish to achieve, and then thoroughly creating that image in your mind. This works in the same way affirmations do. Our subconscious will fill with images of prosperity, and eventually these subconscious "truths" will manifest in the physical. "See" yourself as being prosperous, and you will become so.

Encourage yourself with the belief that you can achieve great things. This could also be one of your affirmations, but expand on it. If you know you can earn a certain salary, tell yourself you can earn more. Allow yourself to believe all things are possible, and you will gain the confidence needed to reach higher than you ever imagined you could. If you believe you can do it, you are more likely to take the risks associated with people who are highly successful. Prosperity and success go hand in hand, so take risks and aim higher.

Start a savings account. As strange as it sounds, think about this: Like Attracts Like. Even if you can only afford to put a few dollars into your account every month, it will begin to build up and attract more money.

Finally, believe you are already wealthy. The creative ability of our thoughts is such that we lend more power and energy to whatever we consistently focus on. Focusing on lack will create more lack. Focusing on wealth and prosperity will create . . . guess what?

Remember that this is a process. You likely won't change your circumstances in one day. But over time, with consistent focus, your thoughts will begin to attract what you want. Once you master this power of thought, there are truly no limits to what you can create!

Sometimes it’s actually quite easy to overlook such symptoms and not be able to help one’s self or others who are suffering from depression for that matter.

There are actually a lot of symptoms of depression that depressed people may actually posses but they don’t have to suffer from each and every one of them before you actually help them get diagnosed and be treated for this illness. Also, since symptoms of depression actually vary, the time of their "attacks" varies as well.

Here are some common examples of symptoms of depression:

Prolonged period of sadness or not feeling "up to it," people who are always feeling not in the mood, who’d rather mope around the house and feel sorry for one’s self is the best example for this symptom of depression.

Feels hopeless, perennial pessimist: speaking of feeling sorry for one’s self, another common symptom of depression is when a person actually feels like he/she has nothing to look forward to in his or her life. As for being the perennial pessimist, those who show this symptom of depression are usually very negative about things, again, the feeling of hopelessness comes in to mind.

Guilt-driven, loss of self-worth and helplessness: other symptoms of depression that can be easily seen on people who prefer to mope around all day long are these. Whenever a person feels so guilty over something, that actually makes one a very sad person who feels like he or she doesn’t deserve to be happy. Thus, the loss of self-worth, if that person feels like he or she isn’t worthy of being happy or enjoying one’s self then that’s clear tell-tale symptom of depression. Helplessness also contribute to being depressed, when assuming that things won’t simply go your way, it’s already a clear saying that you have absolutely no hope in your body at all.

Isn’t interested in finding or taking pleasure; just dropping the hobbies as well as the other things that one used to enjoy: this tell-tale symptom of depression just shows how depressed a person can be, if one is actually too sad to take pleasure even in the very things that one loves then that person is seriously lacking something, rather, that person might well have caught the depression bug.

Fatigue, always tired: people suffering from depression, since they’ve lost whatever interest in life that they may have had before are actually lacking of physical energy at all times, if one would prefer to just mope around, probably won’t even eat not get enough sleep, a depressed person may well be on their way to not just a mental illness but depression can actually be terrible for one’s physical health as well.

Having trouble concentrating, having bad memory and is indecisive: a person who is suffering from depression easily gives away this tell-tale symptom of depression. Wherein one’s lack of interest with regards to the outside world or for just about anything for that matter can lead to that person’s inability to lose track of things and actually not be able to remember things that happened or what other people said. Lack of interest actually makes depressed people very inattentive.

There are actually more symptoms of depression that can actually help you see if a person (or you) needs to be brought to the doctor to get some help when it comes to depression: lacking sleep, sleeping too much or waking up at wee hours of the morning are all symptoms of depression (if it happens on a daily basis), appetite loss as well as eating too much may show one’s lack of enthusiasm for life. Be weary of sudden weight loss or weight gain in those around you. Being suicidal, talking about death, about wanting to die is another clear indication that that person is depressed. Being restless and irritable and physical symptoms that are usually brought about by poor mental health such as headaches, digestive disorders and various body pains.

It is a form of nonverbal communication, which mainly involves gestures using the different parts of the body. It would truly be an advantage if you know how to read and interpret another person's body language for the very reason that you can determine his or her mood, expressions, and desires.

There are several gestures that a person uses in different specific situations – at work, in a job interview, dinner date, or even in a casual conversation. The eyes, arms, and hands are the body parts frequently used to communicate, even unconsciously.

Eye Language

Eye contact is the most powerful language using the eyes. It have different meanings. It can indicate mistrust from another person when he cannot take his eyes off the speaker, or it may mean that the person has a positive outlook or interest on what the speaker is saying. In instances that a person would look from one eye to another then another area, there are different interpretations as well.

Movement from one eye to another then to the forehead indicates that the person is looking at authoritative figure. Another instance is when the person would look from one eye to the other then to the nose, this means that there are no level of superiority in either party. The last case indicates a sign of romance or attraction when the person would look from one eye to another then down to the lips.

However, the eyes can be misleading, especially if there are other gestures accompanying it. Despite direct eye contact, when the person you are speaking to is still fiddling something with his hands, it means that is mind is elsewhere but you. If he is looking at you but with the arms crossed, it indicates signs of bother or defense from you. Another case is when there is eye contact but the head is slightly tilted. This indicates boredom. Lies can be spotted as well when there is excessive blinking and no eye contact.

Crossed Arms

Arms crossed across the chest is one of the most powerful and basic gestures used by anyone. One can form a barrier between himself and another person by crossing his arms, or it may simply mean that he feels cold. It can also indicate as a protection or defense in nervous or anxious situations.

When you are talking to someone and he would cross his arms, it means that he opposes, suspects, or doubts what you are saying. But if he is talking with his arms crossed, it means that he may be nervous, lying, or hiding something from you.

Hand Movements

The pockets are never the right place to put your hands into. A person with his hands in the pocket may indicate that he is nervous, uncomfortable, bored, or uninterested. This gesture indicates also that he may be hiding something from you or he doesn't want to engage in a specific activity or task.

An open palm means sincerity or honesty. A clenched fist is a very clear indication of frustration, anger, resistance, and defense. But there are times wherein it indicates confidence in one's idea or opinion. Nervousness or anxiousness is seen in someone who is tapping or twitching his fingers. Rubbing of hands, meanwhile, may indicate extreme excitement or cold feeling.

Read another person by reading his body language. One's actions definitely have more honesty compared to the words coming out from his mouth.

Tips in Attaining Self-Improvement and Loving Life

Times may be hard, but there are always some good reasons in loving life. When the days seem to be dragging you real slow and low, you have to learn how to cope and get through such situation and emerge a winner. This may be easier said than done. But you have to at least try.

Not everybody has the ability to see sunshine through the rains. There are some people who will rather resort to unwise decisesions just so they can escape the problems that are bugging them. If you can relate to such state, you first have to assess things and look at your attitude. You have to decide for yourself if it is time to change your attitude and take some efforts to initiate self-improvement.

No one can force you to do anything that you are not prepared to do. The key here is that it must come from you. Improving yourself for the better is a sign of maturity as well as readiness for life's bigger challenges.

Here are some tips that you can employ if you are on the trek towards improving your outlook and the way you view life.

1. You must always weigh things. Despite the negative forces that life may bring, for sure, there are some things that you can be happy about. It will be beneficial in the long run if you will practice how to be an optimist despite weary situations or dreadful happenings.

Think about this. You are not the only one who is experiencing such things. And throughout your life, it is not only once that you will go through such phase. So you must learn how to cope with it at the earliest time possible. This way, you are also preparing yourself to bigger dilemmas and hurdles that you may be faced with in the future.

Having someone to look up to with the kind of attitude that you want to copy will also be beneficial. The process will be easier because you will be inspired in knowing that somebody else did it and you can look at that person's current state to be inspired more.

2. Find your purpose. This may be hard to do. As you age, you will face many decisions that may cause you to be torn about where life is leading you. But you must surpass the situation and look at things differently. In any problems and triumphs that you achieve through time, you must be able to shape the purpose that will define who you are and what more can you do.

As you mature, you must be able to have a clearer idea as to what you want to happen with your life. After you have determined your strengths, the areas where you excel, your weaknesses and your talents, your goal in life will also be more defined. So you must not force the idea because it will come to you when it is the right time for it.

3. Never lose the determination in loving life. This must be the main force that should drive you towards achieving your dreams and fulfilling the purposes that you have set yourself to do. But you must not feel down if something that you are aiming for did not happen. You always have to look at the brighter side of things and find out the reasons why you did not achieve what you are longing for. This will drive you to perform better the next time.

What is Stress Management ?

Despite all the conveniences available to us in this technologically advanced age, stress is still part of the overall scheme of our lives. Luckily, stress management provides comfort and release from these problems that tends to affect our physical, mental and emotional health.

What is Stress Management?

Stress management are tools, procedures and methods that allows us to take control of our problems and make sure that they don't affect our daily routine. Problems that leads to stress that are specific in nature have different stress management techniques that can be applied to keep you in balance and harmony.

Breathing exercises helps big time!

Our body tends to react during times of stress; irregular breathing, sweating, aches and pains, slow metabolism and so on. Since these are all physical in nature, we have to deal with it in a physical way. One method is through breathing exercises which can affect your body in a profound way. Simply speaking, these exercises controls the flow of oxygen in your body, as well as its distribution to different parts of your anatomy.

One way to do this is to count your breathing. Breath slow and deep, relax your stomach as you do so. Try to keep a rhythm and follow it all throughout the duration of the exercise. With enough practice, you can control your breathing instantly during times of stress which can help you relax and alleviate some of the negative effects in your body.

Relax your mind with meditation

Meditation is great way to achieve stress management, which deals more on the mental than in the physical. This is where the old adage "Mind Over Body" kicks in. Meditation allows your mind to relax and focus on a single thought and let others drift away to nothing.

The art of meditation have been used for centuries that started off as an offset of pagan religion. Nowadays, many people practice this method for different areas in their life; coping with work, focusing on your tasks, or simply to relax your mind to keep yourself in balance.

This can be quite hard at first but can be improved through practice. First off, try to look for a quiet place where you will have the least amount of distraction. Then you need to relax your body from your toes to your head. When you feel heavy then you are already relaxed (this will change to a light feeling when practiced often), you can now concentrate on your mind.

Try to focus on a single thought or imagine an inanimate object. You might notice that you will be distracted by stray thoughts that seeps into your mind during the course of the exercise. When this happen, try to imagine your a watching movie. Observe these thoughts as if it was nothing and let it drift away to the next one. After a while, all these stray scenes will cease then you have achieved meditation.

Seek professional help

A psychiatrist can be a great help during times stress. The specialist will help you accept your problems and in turn find possible solutions without letting fear and worry seep into your mind. They can help find the trouble areas and help your arrive at solutions which you might be hard-pressed to realize on your own.

Dealing with stress can be stress in itself. But with a relaxed mind and the proper techniques, you could take control of your life and not let stress control you.

Be more Happy by reading more self improvement articles

There are a variety of self improvement articles available nowadays. You may be thinking that this is one of those, obviously.

What have you got to lose by reading one more self improvement article?

When you came the 40-year stage in your life, you will suddenly realize many things. You get to ask yourself questions. How will it be when I get to the end of my life? How do I feel about the life I lived?

Then someone gave you some self improvement articles while telling you that it is not yet too late. Does that mean anything to you?

You bet it does. The feeling of anxiety that will come next is just normal. Then you will feel confused because life had felt so good. You were happy, had a successful marriage, two wonderful kids, and a job you reasonably enjoyed. What was my problem?

It was your class ceiling. The “practical” and fear-based side that had convinced you all along that your passion and dreams had died.

Here are top ten shifts in perspective that can help you move your life to the next level. This self improvement article will assist you in breaking through your own glass ceiling to create the life you really want.

1. Give yourself permission to dream. You probably had no problem dreaming as a kid. What happened to your ability to imagine and dream about what you want and who you want to be? When was the last time you caught yourself daydreaming and appreciated it?

2. Stop looking outside yourself for happiness. Look inside. Increase your self-awareness. Get curious about who you are at the core. Cultivate and nurture a relationship with yourself.

3. Cover the basics. Take the time to address your personal needs. How can you focus on thriving in your life if you are in survival mode? Set up that meeting with a financial advisor, get your space organized, clean up the details that are wasting your energy.

4. Embrace your past and move on. Shift from “why it happened” to what I want to do about it now. Asking “why” is not a very empowering question. Asking what or how I want to proceed can be much more powerful and produce forward movement.

5. Remember that you are not alone. It is easy to feel overwhelmed with life. Seek support. Read more self improvement articles. They might help you figure about some things that are puzzling you.

6. Remember gratitude. Count your blessings. What is working right in you life? Make a list. Set aside a bit of time everyday to acknowledge what or who you are grateful for. The more you practice gratitude, the more you attract into your life things to be grateful for.

7. Court your passion. You still have your passions though it has been a while since you may have felt it flow. When are you the most alive and joyful in your life? Who do you most admire and what do they inspire in you?

8. Take action and take a risk. All the inspiration in the world is not enough to make you move your life to the next level. It takes inspired action to do that.

9. Keep breathing. You probably forget to take deep full breaths. We have all learned to constrict our breathing in response to stress. According to many self improvement articles, we not only need oxygen to stay alive, we need oxygen to give us energy and keep us healthy. Right now take 5 deep, full breaths.

10. Have fun. Call a friend, take a bubble bath, take yourself to an art museum or schedule a whole day out in nature. Put on some great music and dance till you drop.

And you thought this was just one of those self improvement articles.

How to Influence People in a Better

Many people want to know the secret of how to influence people, seeing the fact that not only is it beneficial for them, but is also a good way to build character and relationships as well.

There are numerous ways on how to handle influence and what it can do to people, but there are certain fundamental yet very effective ways on how to try and influence other people.

First fundamental rule about how to influence other people is to know that first, it is important to consider that influence is not about self, it is recognizing the fact that one is being considerate of others and conscious about their state of affairs.

Selflessness is not about submitting oneself to the idea of giving up one’s individuality, but it is recognizing others and being sensitive also about their needs and wants.

Second fundamental rule of influence is being mindful of not criticizing others, especially
in resisting the urge to complain or condemn others indiscriminately.

Rule of thumb is that you rarely find people wanting to be criticized, regardless of whether what they have done is wrong or right, or whether criticism is constructive or destructive – no one wants to be criticized.

Recognizing this, one must be aware that criticizing is always pointing a finger at somebody and telling them right in the face that what they did is wrong, no matter how much it is packaged or euphemized.

Also the same goes with complaining and condemning, since it brings out the defense mechanism with others and builds resentment, as well as hurt self- esteem.

In order to succeed in gaining the most influence out of others, positive reinforcement is the key, instead of pointing out what is wrong and what is obviously their own fault.

The third fundamental rule is the selfless act of always giving honest and sincere appreciation of others, especially for those that have done the right thing.

This creates a morale boosting sense of accomplishment and want, reinforcing and further encouraging others in not having to be forced to succeed in doing what is socially acceptable and politically correct.

Next fundamental rule is getting to arouse in others an eagerness or desire to be passionate about one thing or an idea about something.

By doing this, one needs to be genuinely interested in others, a trait which bespeaks of selflessness and being considerate of other people.
Another fundamental rule is knowing how to bring out the best in others. This means that by doing so, a person must know how to encourage others to be more confident of themselves and know how to take control of life’s situations.

It is by helping them understand that importance of having good self –esteem and allowing others to value their own worth and, as well as their sense or pride and achievements.

Be a good listener.

The fact that a person is willing enough to listen, makes them good enough to take control of the situation.

Being able to listen is a true test of leadership and will make one understand the importance of how it means to influence other people.

Lastly, be able to admit making mistakes. Do not force yourself into believing that everything you do is right.

So always try to remember that to know how to influence people, one must also know how to give in to selfless acts.

Does Music Influence Learning in Children?

In general, how does music influence learning? Experts have researched on this and have provided enriching information. One observes that music can hone creativity. Another believes that through the study of music one can examine higher creative and learning functions. Another has it that musical intelligence is one of the seven basic intelligences.

Music has the ability to help people learn more effectively. It can create a considerable contribution to all of education because these people benefit by enhancing key developmental goals such as self-esteem and creativity. Research has it that music can influence learning in core subjects as well as contribute to the attainment of core goals in learning.

What is interesting to know more about is the effect of music on the learning of children. It is noticeable that small children have that fascination towards music which can be manifested when they hum, have the urge to move to music, become joyful when hearing mother’s lullaby, or become excited when their favorite song is being played. If children are encouraged to learn a musical instrument, their rational, emotional, and motor modalities are being stimulated.

With regard to speech development, the fetus is capable of listening to the voices of the parents. It can already hear and even recognize music. Prenatal psychology reports that music has a remarkable influence on the development of the fetus. After birth, babies imitate the sounds they hear that usually by the age of five, their vocabulary has widened.

In each developmental phase such as in preschool learning, a child develops certain abilities especially well such as movement, vision, music, speech, or emotions. To develop musically, these children need the proper stimulation at the appropriate time.

It has been researched that classical music strengthens parts of the brain that are necessary for logical thinking. When one listens to music and makes music, there are changes that are observed in certain parts of the brain. Playing a musical instrument is a complex activity because it involves the use of the intellect as one tries to comprehend, the motor skills as one performs, the emotions as one initiates, as well as the senses.

Research has it that children who play violin or guitar at a young age demonstrate notable changes in brain activity. Active music making stimulates motor skills. Furthermore, music making promotes social competence. It provides motor, intellectual and emotional behavioral skills that encourage general sociability.

Parents of children who are learning to play musical instruments have noticed that their children have learned to concentrate better and longer. They also observed that they have improved their memory skills and that they have learned to approach something new in a systematic way. These parents have recognized that making music helped in developing the positive character traits of their children. They have become more disciplined through daily practice.

So, does music influence learning in children? Certainly. Through music and active participation, children can achieve better balance between school and sports. It can also be an outlet for the children’s anxiety and aggression so that they can better channel and express their emotions. Being influenced by music, children learn to develop an understanding and respect for art as well as appreciation for beauty.

They get to be inquisitive and expand their knowledge in the different types of music.

How can you Love Your Life and Find Your Purpose in Life?

There are many books and websites that you can look for and read great advices about how to be happy in life and how to deal with different situations, great happiness tips but still it is very easy to read but hard to apply .

Second why are you alive? What is your life's pupose ?
Third Bad times go Good times come

What is the Life's Purpose?

Each one has graces that differ from others evryone have something special. that you live with it and deal with others with what you are.
You have to find the reason why you are here in the first place. You have to know your purpose to know where life is leading you or where you want to be led.

Here are some suggestions that you can take in order to start your quest into finding your purpose in Life

1. Acceptance
You must find a the force that will drive you to keep moving and keep going on despite the situation and difficulty of the life journey. Just think about what you will gain in the process. And you must also feel good in knowing that after the dark or hard days, some light and brightness will come in to make the ride easier for you to make.

But the answer, when you have already found it, will make you appreciate your hard work and will give meaning to everything that you do and work hard to attain. It will also give you more reasons in loving life, and you will keep yourself strong during hard time beacuse you have a goal to achieve and nothing will ever stop you

Ofcourse weekends and holidays are the best times you feel happy and not bored because you know that i want to feel happy before start working again, so i remind myself that weekend is coming soon and i will have fun or relax , and also i tell myself i have to finish all my task and duties in the best ways and with good perfromance i want to achieve my goals if leave my thoughts and feelings to the boring thinking or feeling i will be so down and fail in my duties.

So try as much as you can to stop thinking bored and think that every begining has an ending and today was boring day but next day will be coming, and soon weekend will come to rest and enjoy my life, or you can say after work i will meet my family or friends or the ones i love so i will get more excited, never let your self weak infront of silly times be sure its normal what else can you do except fighting this by doing the boring task and say i will finish all that silly work and go HOME at the end of the day.

You can also think of taking break (if possible) just to think and relax for 10 minutes closing your eyes and lying your back and say Who else will finish the work but ME im in charge of something even it doing it bores me but this my life, job and career no other way to quit. by turning all the boring feelings to exciting or atleast normal feelings during work eventually you are running away from feeling bored and will get focused on your duties and tasks with simple selftalking and selfthinking.

Personal Stress Management: Relaxation Strategies

It’s a plain fact that only you can help yourself overcome stress and the key to that starts with your mind. Without knowing it, the mind is the initial target of stress since everything that happens in our life is initially perceived and processed by our brain. Learning to control your chain of thoughts and a few relaxation tips can do wonder for your personal stress management.

Relax and say goodbye to stress

The first method in dealing with stress in your own personal way is to learn how to relax. It might not be much but professionals and therapists agree that being relaxed while in the throes of stress can help you find solutions in getting rid of it. There are plenty of methods that can help you relax, and you can choose one that will suit you best.

Music and dancing

It is true that the music soothes the savage beast, and your mind is definitely savage when under the influence of stress. Playing instrumental music or nature sounds can ease your mind and help you relax. Some would even recommend dancing to the melody of the music to release the tension that builds up in your body. Loosening all those tight muscles can help you relax as well as increasing the circulation of blood and oxygen into other areas of your body promoting a healthy outlet to stress.

Massage

The body and the mind are connected. The mind can perceive what the body can feel and vice versa. By pampering your body, you can help your mind relax and put you in a calm mood. Getting a massage is a great way to give your body a break, and your mind as well. Shiatsu can do wonders in getting those tired muscles out of your system which will help you feel balanced and energized afterwards.

Aromatherapy massage can also help you relax. Being rubbed with scented oils like jasmine or lavender can help your mind relax while the soothing massage gently caresses your body.

Meditation of mind and body

Meditation is a great way to reduce the tension that builds up in your mind while under the influence of stress. Originally part of the pagan religion, stress is now being incorporated by many professionals as a healthy resort to stress and problems. Try to find a quiet place in your mind or in your office. You may sit down or lie down. Focus on each and every single area of your body and commanding them to relax with your mind. You might feel slightly heavy afterwards since you are internally focused.

Try to visualize an object or phrase a question in your mind. Focus on it as long as necessary. Fleeting thoughts and scenes will flash through but pay them no heed. After a while, your mind will stop projecting images and you will feel like as if you're floating in total nothingness. You will feel refreshed after meditation and you will be ready to face stress in the face.

Physical exercise

One personal stress management technique that can dispel stress is to find an outlet for your mental and emotional burdens. Physical exercise is a highly recommended approach in dealing with stress and is incorporated by stress management clinics and workouts worldwide.

Are you shy? Do you have difficulty coping with people or situations? Then I have good news for you. You do not have to suffer from shyness and you should not feel insecure and fear that you are being judged with every step you take.

Winning the war with shyness takes practice, but is definitely well worth the effort as the result is increasing confidence and self esteem. Wake up feeling good about yourself, able to face the world with confidence and security and the knowing that no feeling of shyness can come in your way of achieving your desires.

There are hundreds of books written on the subject of how beat shyness and gain confidence, but there are a few techniques that anyone can practice. Here are 6 suggestions of techniques on how to overcome your shyness:

1. Every morning, as soon as you get up, get in front of a mirror and say out loud "I feel terrific! I feel terrific! I feel terrific!" Repeat this affirmation with enthusiasm at least ten times everyday until it's ingrained into your subconscious mind. If feel a little self conscious to begin with lock yourself in the bathroom. The results will amaze you.

2. Feel good about yourself. Look your best. Dress up more often. This gives you an extra feeling of confidence and self esteem. On its own just knowing that you look good will boost your confidence and reinforce with others that there are things about you that are worth getting to know.

3. Take a risk at least once a day. It's very invigorating and conquering fears by taking risks helps you grow in confidence and self esteem. Start with small risks and fears and as you overcome them move onto bigger things. There's nothing you cannot do. Be confident in knowing that change can only help you grow, and boost your self confidence.

4. When you are engaged in a one to one conversation, or with a larger group of people, let them know that you're shy. This prevents them from misreading you and they are far more likely to invite you into the conversation rather than leave you just listening and wishing you could contribute.

Many people, me included, find following a conversation in a noisy room difficult. If you are having difficulty say so and move so that you can hear. People respect honesty, and vulnerability and you will attract more honest people into your life as a result.

5. Rejection is a fact of life that everyone experiences. It is rarely you that is being rejected. If you are rejected, for example if you ask someone for a date, remember that everyone has different likes and dislikes. You may be attracted to one type of person and not others. The same applies to other people and you are probably just not their type. That does not devalue you in any way. Accept this and know that you will get over it. Never take it personally and keep in mind that if people reject you it is because of their own likes and dislikes and not because of who you are. You are equally entitled to reject others because of your likes and dislikes.

6. Engage in an activities that make you feel excited and good about yourself or start a hobby that gives you a feeling of relaxation. This could be anything from gardening to Tai Chi to Karate. Take some lessons, learn or master a musical instrument or take singing lessons. Do something that excites you and take a risk. Exploring things that make you feel excited is a great antidote for shyness.

The Link between Staying Healthy and Loving Life

Did you know that nutrition deficiencies can be caused by too much stress? How can you avoid such fate? You can start by simply loving yourself and loving life.

It sounds easy. But many people are finding it hard to keep everything simple. There are lots of factors that this can be attributed to. First, everything nowadays seems to be happening so fast. People feel like if they will not do anything in order to keep up with the pace of the world that they live in, life may be tougher in the long run.

Simplicity is Beauty

Does anybody still believe in the meaning of this old saying? If you want to maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle, you must first understand what you can and cannot do. You cannot keep on acquiring things that you cannot even afford. You cannot venture into various adventures that you may not even have time for or your health must not risk doing.

There are things that can spice up your life even if you keep on living by your means and according to what you can only afford. You just have to be creative and share your passion and dreams to the people whom you care about. This way, you are maintaining a healthy attitude and likewise, you are not risking your health unto any untoward scenes.

If you are concerned about stress and how it may affect your health in the long run, here are some activities that you must look deeply into. If you are guilty of doing the following, maybe it is time for you to think things over and start on the activities that will make you more productive but at the same time healthy.

1. If you are stressed out, your way of coping is to resort to the wrong foods. You tend to eat treats with high levels of fat, salt and sugar. This is caused when the levels if your cortisol or your stress hormone increase. Other people tend to gulp a whole gallon of ice cream after a stressful day. Imagine what it can do to your body in the long run. You may want to rethink things and consider the harmful effects of these activities before resorting to them.

2. Stressed out people also resort to coffee to increase their energy level. This may be a good morning starter. But if you become too much addicted to caffeine, this will cause your health trouble in the long run. You must not depend on coffee to keep you alert throughout the day. When a minute-long walk or a quick exercise can do the trick, then do such before you start going for another refill of your caffeine addiction.

3. Another thing that happens more often when a person is stressed out is that they skip the important meals. They do their best in order to keep up with a deadline and finish all their task. But they no longer think about their own health in the process. Such bad behavior will take its toll on your body as you get older. This may cause more problems in the end. It will be better if you will learn to finish your tasks but be mindful of eating the right meals in between.

This way, you are loving life and loving your obligations at the same time. And both may prove to be rewarding in the process.
