Peeling Nails

Hello. I am having problems with peeling nails and my nails are always different lengths. I have tried different treatments, but nothing seems to work properly. Two nails on each hand are fairly hard (little finger and ring finger), and are the easiest to grow. The others are soft and really prone to peeling. Which products do you recommend I used? I would really appreciate some advice on this. Thanks, Anette.

Hi, I would love some advice on which products I should purchase for extremely dry crocodile skin legs with lumps and bumps. I have recently been using a sample of Decleor Aromessence Body Repairing After-Sun Balm which does appear to be helping. Would you recommend me purchasing this in a full size or can you recommend any other products? I would be SO grateful for your advice. Regards, Carole.

When should I use serum during my skincare regime?

I have never been a great one for complicated skin regimes, I've done the basics - wash, cleanse/tone, moisturise - but that's been about it. Now the advancing years (and loads of samples I seem to have acquired) means I have added 'serum' into my regime. My question is, at what stage am I supposed to use this - before or after cleansing or moisturising? And on those occasions when I get spots, when does the spot cream go on - at the beginning, end or in the middle? Thanks, Debra.

40+ Eye Care Advice

Hello, I am 44 and have never found an eye cream which I am entirely satisfied with.

I don't suffer with dark circles or puffiness however my eyes do get dry underneath very quickly & I need to top up during the day despite my morning/evening routine. I am currently using Clarins Special Eye Contour Balm or L'Oreal Revitalift Double Lifting Eye Cream. I have been known to resort to Astral Cream sometimes as it's greasy enough to be effective but doesn't look great!

What can you recommend?

Skincare regime advice for run-up to wedding day

Hi. I’m getting married next year, but my skin is in a bit of a mess.

I have combination skin and suffer from under the skin spots as well as related scaring and blocked pores. Can you recommend a skin regime that will get my skin looking its best in time for the big day? Also on my body I have some scarring due to a skin condition when I was a child, they are still quite visible on my arms - more so when I have a tan as the scars don’t tan. Is there anything I can do to help minimise them or make them less noticeable? I also have bumps on the back of my arms which don’t seem to improve even after dry body brushing.

Finally stretch marks - is there anything to help refine and improve the texture of the skin where I have the stretch marks?

Thanks for your help.

Can you recommend a body lotion for VERY dry skin?

My skin is extremely dry (especially my legs), and almost all the moisturisers I have tried only keep my skin hydrated for a few hours. Products with high content of Shea Butter holds fairly well. Are there any products that last at least 12 hours, that really hydrates the skin in depth, and not just the surface?

Also, I have a 2-year old son who has eczema-prone skin that tends to get dry. When he is really dry, and I apply moisturiser, he shows clear signs of discomfort, as I suspect it stings. Being 2 years old, it is hard to explain to him that we should apply moisturiser regularly, because it stings less when the skin is not so dry.

Do you have any advice? Thanks.
