Looks like 3730 area acted as a consolidation area as mentioned on Sunday, so far no short squeeze yet but I,m guessing stops could build behind line if it keeps getting tested in a range at moment . Hockey stick entry example

Here is a lovely example of a Hockey Stick entry that started on the 12 of September and carried over into the following day, the range broke at the end of the London open ,setting up the trade for the next visit at 19.00 and 9, but now I think the well could be dry ,take a look at the other example for how I look at the reasons for this setup .Dave Good luck and tight stops .

Hello traders was away last week, got
back too see the euro getting a thrashing at the end of the week .The market was screaming sell. I did take a few short scalps for a few pips profit on Friday will the sell off continue ??my charts on the daily time frame show it at channel support and a big fib level at 3662 from the low2873 to the high at 4938 for my S1. S2 at 3500 area. S3 at 3280 .S4 at 2872, too the topside possible consolidation at

Hello traders , areas I will be looking at this week are R1 4530, R2 4577, R3 4641,R4 4700

S1 4330, S2 4262, S3 4120, S4 4055 . On the big picture the 61% fib level at 4517 and the 78%level at 4702 look very interesting yet again the the top trendlines are not being respected, last week was a very tight range in play all week, will this week produce a meaning full break ??.

A well defined triangle forming on a 30 min time frame, a break either side should turn into good support or resistance 4517 should produce a stall 4258 good support .Will it take Bernanke too break deadlock or will bears blink, or bulls blink ,50/50 at moment my 10,cent,s worth Dave good luck and tight stops.

Hello traders my s/r,s are on the 4hr chart, the bigger time frames are telling me the bulls are in charge ,notice the tightly packed candles on the daily chart the bears lost that battle so for me S2 will be very important to hold this week ,the bollanger bands on the 12 hr chart are still tightening so is a break imminent ? the top of the triangle formation has again been tested and broken ,but a word of warning I never marry an opinion and can change it in a heart beat, I dont mind being wrong, so long as it does,nt cost me dearly. The big fib level 61% at 4521 and the 78% fib levels 4705 should offer keen resistance remember I am still only just a 4th year apprentice and these are only my opinion,s .Good luck and tight stops Dave .

hello traders last week I was in and out all week away from my desk and this week will be the same a festival in local town + a bit of sea fishing lined up so wont be doing much updating,or trading ,a bit possibly mid week , Anyway no need to mention the news ,unless you were on the moon .my bottom chart shows a big triangle forming in a 12 hr time frame will there be a break either side this week ? possibly, but if not its getting closer every day
the top chart is in a 4hr time frame and shows my supports/resistance areas R1 s and S1 s ,but this week at the open into Monday and Tuesday if trading I will be extra careful
as news will dominate price. On the 4hr there are two fib levels I will be looking at the 78% fib from last hi to last lo R1/S2 and the bigger level at 3986 just below S3 any way good luck and tight stops Dave.

Hello traders, dept ceiling still not solved as I post my charts for areas I will be looking at this week .
I,m posting a lot of charts from daily,12 hour ,4 hr and top chart a 1 hr , On the daily it looks like a possible bull flag, price finished above the 100 sma on friday
On the next chart the 12 hour the bollanger bands set at 50/50 show a possible range being set . The 4 hr chart has a lot of resistance at 4555 area but the top trend line keeps being tested with breaks and rejections soon after and lastly the top chart on a 1 hr time frame shows a H/S pattern
at 4436 with a fib level just below at 4417 all in all this week will be an interesting one with lots of levels to keep an eye on and news also important ,on that note good luck and tight stops ,Dave ,I will post all my trades as soon as I can on twitter when entering wish me luck .

Trend line +50 fib held, now we have a possible head and shoulders forming . looking at a 30 min time frame the right shoulder has a 50 fib back from the top to the last bottom ,one to watch ,all the best Dave.

I took this trade on consolidation of the 38% fib at 4322, firstly I took a long at 4327 and took a quick scalp of a few pips then re,entered at 4331 using the few pips made as a buffer , when the trade was up 35 pips I moved my stop to +25 as lower highs were being printed, as I speak it looks like bulls want to try and hold this line ,all the best Dave
