Tron Legacy is directed by first-time filmmaker Joseph Kosinski. The screenplay was co-written by Adam Horowitz (“Lost”), Richard Jefferies (Blood Tide, Living Hell), Edward Kitsis (“Lost”), and the director of the original movie, Steven Lisberger. This first got the greenlight last year because this early teaser played well at Comic-Con. Disney is bringing Tron Legacy to theaters in 3D starting on December 17th, 2010.

Zombieland-Regisseur Ruben Fleischer hat ein wenig über das kommende Sequel geplaudert:

“We have been talking to the studio and we pitched them some ideas that they seemed to really like. We are definitely doing the film in 3D. Sony has their own 3D division now and we are going to go get a little tour of that, of the 3D department. I know that the cast are all excited to be a part of the sequel, so it should be a great, fun movie to make! The script is about to be written and hopefully we will shoot it sometime towards the end of the year or early next year”.

Harrison Ford hat diese Woche gegenüber der BBC bekannt gegeben das sich Steven Spielberg, George Lucas und er selbst auf grundsätzliche Idee (‘Germ of Idea’) geeinigt haben:

“Steven [Spielberg] and George [Lucas] and I are sort of agreed on a germ of an idea and we’re seeing what comes of it.”

Pirates of the Caribbean 4 - On Stranger Tides

Scheinbar wird Herr Depp nun doch im 4. Teil der Pirates of the Caribbean Serie (Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides) wieder die Rolle des Piraten Jack Sparrow übernehmen… über den Film sagt er folgendes:

“In the earlier films there were so many subplots that the audience, and even I, was sometimes confused. The next part is fun, a lot of fun”.

Ich weiss noch nicht so recht ob ich mich auf den 4. Teil freuen soll… hoffentlich, da muss ich mye von moviereporter.net recht geben, wird er nicht wieder so überdreht wie Teil 3.

Survival of the Dead

Off the coast of Delaware sits the cozy Plum Island where two families are locked in a struggle for power, as it has been for generations. The Book of Eli

Im Jahr 2044 versucht der einsame Held Eli ein geheimnisvolles Buch quer durch die völlig verwüsteten USA nach Westen zu bringen. Dieses Buch, so stellt sich im Verlauf der Handlung heraus, ist die Bibel, von der im “Großen Krieg” fast alle Exemplare vernichtet wurden, weil sie so gefährlich sei. Aus dem gleichen Grund aber will Carnegie, der Despot einer kleinen, überwiegend aus kriminellen Motorradbanden bestehenden Wüstenstadt, die Bibel in seinen Besitz bringen. Mit ihrer Hilfe, so glaubt er, ließen sich die Menschen besser beherrschen. Eli, dem fast unbesiegbaren Einzelgänger, gelingt es nach mehreren Kämpfen, Carnegie zu entkommen und die Insel Alcatraz zu erreichen. Hier, auf der ehemaligen Gefängnisinsel, hat sich die Keimzelle einer neuen Zivilisation etabliert, die verlorenes Wissen wieder zu erwerben versucht. Eli hat das Buch allerdings an seinen Gegner Carnegie verloren, doch der muss entdecken, dass sein Raub ihm nichts nutzt: Das Exemplar ist in Blindenschrift geschrieben. Carnegies illegitime Macht zerbricht, die Stadt zerfällt. Eli dagegen konnte die Blindenschrift entziffern, hatte den Inhalt der Bibel auswendig gelernt und beginnt nun, ihn auf Alcatraz zu diktieren. Die Tatsache, dass er nicht selbst schreibt, sondern diktiert, sowie ein Kameraschwenk auf seine Augen lassen den Zuschauer vermuten, dass Eli blind ist und “von Gott geleitet” (wie er selbst immer wieder betont) den zerstörten Kontinent durchquert und alle Feinde besiegt hat. The Green Hornet

Ich bin, ehrlich gesagt, kein großer Fan von Green Hornet, aus diesem Grund habe ich auch bisher nicht über das anstehende Filmprojekt berichtet. Allerdings macht mich Christoph Waltz’s Rolle als Bösewicht Chudnofsky dann doch etwas neugierig… Nun hat er ein wenig über seinen “Part” erzählt:

“He’s a competitor [of the Green Hornet]. There’s a misunderstanding between the two of them and they have to sort it out through the course of the movie”.

“They do sort it out through the course of the movie, but unfortunately it happens fatally for one of them and it wasn’t Seth”.
