CHEER UP!

During my downfall times and troubles, FAILURE was my best enemy! It always brought me to the lowest point of my life. I lost confidence and started contemplating other stuff that could make it even worse. Yes, I have done wrong. I knew it! And I considered that these are all my consequences in life and no one could ever help me except myself. Even if I ask for help from anyone. Still the only person that could help is myself.

There are times that I walked in a strange streets with nobody, nowhere to go or nowhere to stay. Needing someone that time to join me that might simply ease depression inside me. To feel that some kind of hope that someone does care about me. But none. Asked myself with two questions, am I in a right path? What is my purpose of having myself here?

One day, I received a letter containing below:

Dear Fernand,

I believe in you. If I didn't, I wouldn't have made you into such an amazing and wonderful person. I believe in you so much, I planted dreams in your heart. Dreams that will bless you and bless the world. Dreams that that will make you grow in love and will mature in your soul. Yes, I will use you to share My light and love to many.

So believe in yourself. Even when you fail. Never give up on yourself. Failure is an important part of your success. Look around and you'll discover that the most successful people are those who have failed the most.

Trust in Me. I trust in you!

Know the difference between paths and purpose. Even if your chosen path fails, never give up on your sacred purpose. When you write your dreams, include the details that you desire. Your imagination will inspire you. But don't be attached to the details. Surrender to my surprises and open yourself to My abundance. For I have the best blessings and the perfect miracles for you, far better than what you can think of or imagine.

Nourish your soul in My Love and My Word. Nourish your soul with other like-minded Dreamers who have fire in their hearts.

Now GO, My child, and share My love and light to all those around you.

One day, a rich dad took his son on a trip. Wanted to show him how poor someone can be. They spent time on the farm of a poor family.

On the way home, dad asked, "Did you see how poor they are? What did you learn?".

Son said, "We have one dog, they have four, we have pool, they have rivers, we have lanterns at night, they have stars, we buy foods, they grow theirs, we have walls to protect us, they have friends, we have encyclopedias, they have Bible."

Then they headed, "Thanks dad for showing me how poor we are."

MORAL LESSON: It's not about money that make us rich, it's about simplicity of having God in our lives.

IN FAIRNESS

Just had a party with colleagues. Checked-in at the 26th/Floor with a 2bedroom Loft type(2-storey) fully furnished suites. Food and drinks around me, karaoke, chitchats and the fun. I didn't drink that much but sung a lot of songs. :D The party ended the next day and woke up with headaches not because of hang-over but lacked of sleep. I forgot it was already Sunday that I need to rush out and prepare to go earlier to attend for mass, September 18, 2011.

Headed right away to Sanctuario de San Antonio at Forbes Park, Mckinley. I was touched by the homily of the priest (sorry I forgot the name). Allow me to share some relevant reflection about the Gospel.

For God has been accused of sleeping on his job many times over. They say, he does not answer prayers right away. He delays. Why does he allow evil things to happen? In the parable of the workers who showed up early accuse God for being unfair, because he treats the early birds and the latecomers equally. He pays them the same amount of wages. Seemingly, he condones indiscipline and sluggishness, when everyone should be up on their toes.

The evangelist Matthew writes the parable to defend God. God is God and he has his way of doing things. He has his own measuring stick and a way of reckoning time. He does not follow the system of weights and measurements that existed in his time. Now we use the metric, or the English system, or the Greenwich mean time.

We, humans, work for food and survival. Our reward depends on how much time and energy we have invested in our work. Our salaries are deducted when we report late or absent. We are promoted to a higher paying position if we meet the standards, if we are efficient and produce the target margin. We can be kicked out of the job if we are not performing according to expectations.

But GOD has a mysterious way of dealing with us. His reward system depends on the generosity of his heart, not on our efforts or measuring devices no matter how sophisticated they are. He computes according to the abundance of his heart. He has an infinite supply of love.

The Gospel story reminds us not to impose our terms on GOD. We should not make him act like a human being, in fairness to him. Our total well-being is his top priority. He encourages those who have strayed away from him to return to him as soon as possible. He does not care whether we have ignored Him for so long now. He wants us to go back to Him. God does not discriminate against the late penitents, in fairness to them.

Indeed, God has been fair to us. He does not sleep. He is always on the lookout to welcome us who repent even at the last minute.

I was able to maximize my weekend vacation. Office Party plus Eucharistic celebration with inspiring homily. And In fairness, I had a great weekend! God is really good. :)

Failure Is A Lesson

For those who appear in my life, whether to help or to harm, are all given by God. I have to meet all of them with a peaceful heart and with a warrior spirit without hesitation to get back in the struggle. I may fail many times, but in failing I know I will learn from it, and in my learning, I will find my own way realizing that without overcoming those obstacles, I would never have realized my potential, strength and will power of heart.

Even my bad experiences can be learned from. Those lessons are my hardest and probably the most important ones. I appreciate every moment and take from it everything that I possibly can, for I already know that I may be able to experience it again and again. And in this life, it is not how many times we stumble, it is not how many times we failed. But it is how we stand up and try again and again and again.

From many inspiring books and articles I've read, I have learned that we can develop success from failures. Discouragement and failure are two of the surest stepping stones to success. There are no mistakes in life, only lessons. And my lessons will keep on repeating themselves... until learned. :')

All I Need For Now!

She was a cloistered nun, and lived in a monastery in Portugal. Lucia disclosed the message for the first time; to Pope Pius Xll who, after reading , sealed it and stored it away without making it public. The Virgin told Lucia:
'Go, my child, and tell the world what will come to pass during the 1950's - 2000's. Men are not practicing the Commandments that God has given us. Evil is governing the world and is harvesting hate and resentment all over. Men will fabricate mortal weapons that will destroy the world in minutes!... where half of the human race will be destroyed. The war will begin against Rome , and there will be conflicts amongst religious orders...

God will allow all natural phenomena like smoke, hail, cold, water, fire, floods, earthquakes, winds and inclement weather to slowly batter the planet. These happenings will come to pass before the year 2012.!!!! "For those who don't/won't believe..... . . this is the time..... Your beloved mother told you. Those lacking charity towards others, in words & deeds and those who do not love their neighbour like my beloved Son has loved you all ....... cannot survive! They will wish to have died.

God will punish severely those who do not believe in him, those who despise him and those who did not have time for him." 'I call upon all of you to come to my son Jesus Christ. God will help the world, but all of those who do not show fidelity and loyalty will be destroyed!'

Father Agustin, who lives in Fatima , said that Pope Paul VI gave him permission to visit Sister Lucia,a cloistered nun (she did not leave the monastery nor was allowed to receive any visitors). Father Agustin said that she received him greatly overwhelmed and told him: 'Father, Our Lady is very sad because nobody is interested in her prophecy of 1917, though the righteous are walking through a narrow path, the evil ones are walking through an ample road that is leading them straight
to their destruction! Believe me, Father, the punishment will come very soon. 'Many souls will be lost and many nations will disappear from the earth.

But, in the middle of all these, if men reflect, pray and practice sincerity, good deeds, kindness and respect, the world can be saved. However, if men persist with evil ways....greed, hatred, selfish acts, rivalry, and rif, the world will be lost forever!. The time has come for all to pass on the message of our Blessed Lady to their families, friends, and to the entire world.

Continue praying, make penitence and sacrifices. We are close to the last minute of the last day and the catastrophes are near. Due to this, many that were far from the Church will return to the open arms of the Church of Jesus Christ.

The joining of the churches will result in one Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church; England , Russia , China , Jews, Buddhists, Muslims, Hindus,Protestants, etc.. All will return believing and
worshipping God our Creator, in his beloved Son and in Blessed Mother Virgin Mary.'

WHAT AWAITS US ???

Everywhere there will be 'Peace Talks', but punishment will come.

A MAN IN A VERY IMPORTANT POSITION WILL BE ASSASSINATED AND THIS WILL
PROVOKE THE WAR.

A POWERFUL ARMY WILL DOMINATE ALL THROUGH EUROPE AND THE NUCLEAR WAR WILL COMMENCE.

This war will destroy everything; darkness will fall over us for 72 hours (3 days) and the one third of humanity that survives this obscurity and sacrifice, will commence to live a new era; they will be good people.

On a very cold night, 10 minutes before midnight, A GREAT QUAKE will shake the earth for 8 hours. This will be the third signal that God Is, who governs the earth. The righteous and those who propagate the faith and the message of the Lady of Fatima is : 'ONE SHOULD NOT FEAR, DO NOT BE AFRAID'.

WHAT TO DO??? : Bow your heads, kneel down and ask God for forgiveness. Because, only what is good and is not under the power of evil will survive the catastrophe. To the faithful souls, remember to light the blessed candles, prepare a sacred altar with a crucifix in order to communicate with GOD and implore for His infinite mercy.... In the house the only thing that can give light will be the HOLY CANDLES... Once lit, nothing will put them off until the three days of darkness are over. Also, you should have holy water that should be
sprinkled abundantly on windows and doors. The Lord will protect the property of the chosen ones.... Kneel down before the powerful cross of my beloved Son, pray the Rosary and after each Hail Mary you must pray the following:

'Oh God forgive us our sins, preserve us from the fires of hell, take all souls to heaven, especially those who are in more need of thy mercy. Blessed Virgin Mary, protect us, we love you, save us and save the world'.

Pray 5 Creeds and the Rosary which is the secret to my immaculate Heart. All those who believe in my words go and take the message to everyone, DO NOT FEAR! FEAR NOTHING DURING THE LORD'S GREAT DAY. Talk to all, now that there is time. Those who keep quiet will be responsible for all those souls who will perish in ignorance. I wish all my children to attend mass every first Friday and every first Saturday of each month; to confess and receive Holy Communion; and in doing so, save the world from its TOTAL DESTRUCTION!!

When the earth shakes no more, those who still do not believe in our Lord will perish in a horrible way: The wind will bring gas and it will disperse it everywhere, then the sun will rise. Maybe you will survive this catastrophe.

Everything Happens For A Reason

Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there. They serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help figure out who you are or who you want to become. You never know who these people may be, your roommate, your neighbor, professor, long lost friend, lover or even a complete stranger who, when you lock your eyes with them, you know that very moment that they will affect your life in some profound way. And sometimes things happens to you and at the time they seem horrible, painful and unfair, but in reflection, you realize that without overcoming those obstacles you would never have realized your potential, strength, will power of heart.

Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good or bad luck, Illness, injury, love, lost moments or true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of the soul. Without these tests, if they be events, illnesses or relationships, life would be like a smooth paved, straight flat road to nowhere. Safe and comfortable but dull and utterly pointless.

These people you meet who affect your life and successes and downfalls you experience, they are the ones who creates who you are. Even the bad experiences can be learned from. Those lessons are the hardest and probably the most important ones. If someone hurts you, betrays you, or break your heart... Forgive them, for they have helped you learn about TRUST and the importance of being cautious to whom you open your heart. If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not because they love you, but because they are teaching you to love and opening your heart and eyes to things you would have never seen or felt without them. Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again. Talk to people you have never talked to before, and actually listen, let yourself fall in love, break free and set your sights high. You can make of your life anything you wish. Create your own life and then go out and live it. I wish you all the best in your endeavors as well as struggles in life. Have a fighting spirit and never hesitate to get back in the struggle.

BUYING TIME

A man came home from work late again, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year-old son waiting for him at the door.
“Daddy, may I ask you a question?”
“Yeah, sure, what is it?” replied the man.
“Daddy, how much money do you make an hour?
“That’s none of your business! What makes you ask such a thing?” the man said angrily.

“I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?” pleaded the little boy.
“If you must know, I make $20.00 an hour.”
“Oh,” the little boy replied, head bowed. Looking up, he said, “Daddy, may I borrow $10.00 please?”

The father was furious. “If the only reason you wanted to know how much money I make is just so you can borrow some to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. I work long, hard hours everyday and don’t have time for such childish games.”
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door. The man sat down and started to get even madder about the little boy’s questioning. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?

After an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think he may have been a little hard on his son. Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $10.00, and he really didn’t ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy’s room and opened the door.
“Are you asleep son?” he asked.
“No daddy, I’m awake,” replied the boy.

“I’ve been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier,” said the man. “It’s been a long day and I took my aggravation out on you. Here’s that $10.00 you asked for.”
The little boy sat straight up, beaming. “Oh, thank you daddy!” he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow, he pulled out some more crumpled up bills.
The man, seeing that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, then looked up at the man.

“Why did you want more money if you already had some?” the father grumbled.
“Because I didn’t have enough, but now I do,” the little boy replied.

“Daddy, I have $20.00 now. Can I buy an hour of your time?”

CHALLENGES IN LIFE

For quite a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin--real life. But there was always some obstacles in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last, it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life.
Challenges, yes we all have them! But the difference is how we handle our challenges. In this case, we must learn to deal with our challenges to have less stress in our lives.

Difficult times have helped me to understand better than before, how infinitely rich and beautiful life is in every way, and that so many things that one goes worrying about are of no importance whatsoever.

The true measure of a man is not how he behaves in moments of comfort and convenience but how he stands at times of trials and challenges in life. For those who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all are the people who have accomplished the most important things in the world.

Saturday morning, I woke up and face the day with smile and thanks giving to the one who gave life to me. I have nothing in my pocket except for P20 (budget to reload for Alltext20) and nothing more. Friends has been texting me for some plans to go out. For party, treat, Hang out, celebration and so on and so forth. I kept saying, "Thanks, but No thanks. I'm super broke." I went out and bought some load, went back to the room and browsed the net and my phone. Received a lot of greetings and gratefully replied to them one by one.

I Wanna say thanks to all who greeted me on my birthday. There are friends and relatives who greeted me earlier than 12:00 midnight but then again I'm NOT going to consider it in my list. TOP 10 will be based from 12:00am-11:59pm of May 08, 2010.

My Contemplation

Life has been so obscured early this year, I’ve been contemplating… life has been so uneasy… it’s really hard. But I tried to persevere specially in the season of soul-searching and repentance. And I had this reflection and recollection about the olden days. Reminiscing all the failures and regrets that made me firmly stand on my own. The success and accomplishments that inspired me to move on and share to others what I’ve been through. I know there’s always a purpose for everything. Despite all of these, I realized that I am more blessed than any other people. And I gave back all the glory, honor and power to you, oh Lord.

In the season of Lent, it is originated in the very earliest days of the Church as a preparatory time for Easter, when the faithful rededicated themselves and when converts were instructed in the faith and prepared for baptism. By observing the forty days of Lent, the individual Christian imitates Jesus’ withdrawal into the wilderness for forty days. All churches that have a continuous history extending before AD 1500 observe Lent. The ancient church that wrote, collected, canonized, and propagated the New Testament also observed Lent, believing it to be a commandment from the apostles. (See The Apostolic Constitutions, Book V, Section III.)

Why Is The Philippines Poor?

THE DIFFERENCE

The difference between the poor countries and the rich ones is not the age of the country:

This can be shown by countries like India & Egypt , that are more than 2000 years old, but are poor.

On the other hand, Canada , Australia & New Zealand , that 150 years ago were inexpressive, today are developed countries, and are rich.

The difference between poor & rich countries does not reside in the available natural resources.

Japan has a limited territory, 80% mountainous, inadequate for agriculture & cattle raising, but it is the second world economy. The country is like an immense floating factory, importing raw materials from the whole world and exporting manufactured products.

Another example is Switzerland, which does not plant cocoa but has the best chocolate in the world. In its little territory they raise animals and plant the soil during 4 months per year. Not enough, they produce dairy products of the best quality! It is a small country that transmits an image of security, order & labor, which made it the world's strongest, safest place.

Executives from rich countries who communicate with their counterparts in poor countries show that there is no significant intellectual difference.

Race or skin color are also not important: immigrants labeled lazy in their countries of origin are the productive power in rich European countries.

What is the difference then? The difference is the attitude of the people, framed along the years by the education & the culture & flawed tradition.

On analyzing the behavior of the people in rich & developed countries, we find that the great majority follow the following principles in their lives:

1. Ethics, as a basic principle.
2. Integrity.
3. Responsibility.
4. Respect to the laws & rules.
5. Respect to the rights of other citizens.
6. Work loving.
7. Strive for savings & investment.
8. Will of super action.
9. Punctuality.
10. and of course...Discipline

In poor countries, only a minority follow these basic principles in their daily life.

The Philippines is not poor because we lack natural resources or because nature was cruel to us. In fact, we are supposedly rich in natural resources.

We are poor because we lack the CORRECT ATTITUDE. We lack the will to comply with and teach these functional principles of rich & developed societies.

If you do not forward this message nothing will happen to you. Your pet will not die, you will not be fired, we will not have bad luck for seven years, and also, we will not get sick or go hungry.

But those may happen because of Your lack of discipline & laziness

Your love for intrigue and politics, Your indifference to saving for the future, Your stubborn attitude.

If you love Your country, let this message circulate so that many Filipinos could reflect about this, & CHANGE, ACT!
