2 xícaras de chá de lentilha colocadas de molho por 2 horas&lt;br /&gt;
3 xícaras de chá de água&lt;br /&gt;
1 xícara de chá de azeite&lt;br /&gt;
3 cebolas fatiadas em rodelas&lt;br /&gt;
3 xícaras de chá de arroz&lt;br /&gt;
1 colher de chá de sal&lt;br /&gt;
1 colher de chá bem cheia, de pimenta síria&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Coloque a água em uma panela e acrescente as lentilhas.&amp;nbsp;Deixe até levantar fervura e cozinhe, em fogo baixo, por cerca de 20 minutos ou até que as lentilhas fiquem ligeiramente cozidas.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Coloque o azeite em uma outra panela e frite as fatias de cebola mexendo regularmente para que fiquem douradas. Retire e reserve.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Escorra as lentilhas e reserve 1 1/2 xícara do líquido e, se necessário, complete com água.&lt;br /&gt;
Coloque no azeite que ficou na panela, as lentilhas e o arroz.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Tempere com sal, a pimenta síria, refogue um pouco, junte o líquido reservado e 2/3 das cebolas refogadas.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Cozinhe em fogo brando até que o arroz esteja macio, cerca de 20 minutos.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Coloque em uma travessa e cubra com o restante das cebolas douradas e sirva&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
