I created this layout using this freebie. I love how it turned out!

Many of you know that I’ve been living with chronic back pain for years, but it became especially intense toward the end of 2025 and into 2026. I’ve relied on a Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS), along with medication, to help manage my pain. While that combination worked well for a long time, these devices don’t last forever (mine gave me eight years), but over the past three years, it had gradually stopped being effective. On top of that, I needed to meet some health goals, including weight loss and improved lab results, before my neurosurgeon would move forward with a replacement. It was a challenging season, to say the least.

I’m so happy to share that I had my SCS replaced on February 23rd, and the difference has been incredible. I’m experiencing the best pain control I’ve had in over a decade, and it honestly feels like such a gift to have this level of relief again.

On a different note, if you’ve primarily been keeping up with my designs through my newsletters, you may have missed some of the template releases I’ve shared so far this year.
