Ray J Talks About Slapping Rapper Fab On Power 105

2011-09-19T13:08:00.000-05:00

It seems as though singer Ray J and Rapper Fabolous are having beef. Ray J called into Power 105 and discussed what happened at the Mayweather/Ortiz Fight this past weekend. Ray J apparently slapped Fab and says the rapper was scared!

So how did the beef start?? Look at this tweet:

"Nah but Floyd saying we havin a concert in my living room & the camera cuts to Ray J singing "One Wish" on the piano had me in tears!!
Get it..? Ray J concert in the living room!! *Lil Wayne voice*"

Of course Ray J took offense to this tweet and decides to slap the rapper and call Power 105 and talk about what happened. Along with talking about the altercation, Ray J talks about how Fab has no money, drives old cars, and that his crew had to save Fab's life!

Talk about going in... Check out the clip

Is Jay-Z A "Checkbook Daddy?"

2011-09-15T16:19:00.000-05:00

The biggest story out is dealing with Jay-Z and a secret baby. He allegedly has a son with video vixen Shenelle Scott of Trinidad. According to sources Shenelle thought her son, Malik who is now 9, was by another man but after doing a DNA test he proved to not be the father.

The story was initially put out by Jerald Andrews, who is the young boy's grandfather. He claims that Jay-Z is the father and that Shenelle was paid $1Million to stay quiet; he also states that Shenelle bought a house with this money in Trinidad. This same man who put the story out is now denying it. He is also saying that Shenelle is married to a professional basketball player and he actually bought the house for her. Seems to me like Mr. Andrews got some hush money too...

The main question that pops up in my head is "Does Beyonce know about this and if she does why isn't she pushing for Jay to have a relationship with his son?" There are sources that Jay-Z pays Shenelle about $40,000 in child support each month but does not visit the boy... This is why I call him a "Checkbook Daddy".

Solange Knowles Attacked By Miami Police With Weapon

2011-08-30T12:22:00.000-05:00

Earlier this week Solange tweeted that she was attacked by 2 police officers in Miami no apparent reason. Also Solange said that the officers pulled out a weapon (blade) and believes it was a crime of racism. Check out what Solo told E! News about the incident:

"Never once during the incident did I even raise my voice," Knowles tells us. "I feel very strongly about standing up for myself when something is wrong, and am very disappointed in the way that the Miami [Beach] Police Department has handled this case."
She says that Knowles and two friends went to a club, where she somehow obtained a large balloon that they planned to give to a pal's kid the next day.
They cabbed it to another night spot, where the bouncer informed them that they couldn't take the balloon inside.
"They decided to go across the street to deflate the balloon, where they encountered two police officers who had casual, light-hearted conversation with them," Knowles' rep states. "One officer pulled out a switchblade and threatened to pop the balloon. They felt it was inappropriate, but the turning point happened when he then took out the switchblade a second time with the blade open and said to them, 'I don't find the humor in this, anymore.' The blade was less than a couple feet away from Solange and her friends."
The officer proceeded to "forcefully" ask them to move, gesturing that they cross the street though there was oncoming traffic, the rep continues.
"Solange then asked the officer what was it that they did wrong, and he forcefully responded again to move," she told E! News. "When a taxi pulled up, they got in and headed home. Solange made a series of calls to report the incident and was told to be prepared to be arrested when she came in to report the incident if her story was false. Solange simply wanted to report that the officer pulled out a weapon, when she had done nothing illegal, disruptive or belligerent."

Hosea Chanchez From The Game Is Trying To Rap

2011-08-02T18:50:00.000-05:00

A rap video featuring Hosea Chanchez, from the hit TV show the Game, has surfaced and it is a HOT MESS!!!!! The song is called Booty Shotz and just from the title I knew the video was going to be full of women shaking their asses.

The song is supposed to be linked to a movie he will be starring in called Dysfunctional Friends. This movie will also feature Stacey Dash, Raegan Gomez, Tatyana Ali, and Terrell Owens. There is not a set release date but I will keep you posted.

Check out Hosea Chanchez's premiere of his rap video, Booty Shotz:

I told you it was a mess...

Guess Who Is Pregnant?!

2011-07-31T20:57:00.000-05:00

There were rumors that Fantasia was pregnant and I was really praying that if it were true, then not by that Antwaun dude. Well I guess my praying didn't work because she is indeed preggo and the child is with Antwaun.

If you don't know the deets on Fantasia and Antwaun, let me break it down for you real fast...
Fanny met Antwaun at a mobile phone store (his place of employment) and started to date him. Come to find out the dude was still married and supposedly Fantasia knew about it. The wife tried to sue Fantasia and all of the stress/drama led Fantasia to a near suicide attempt. Fantasia claimed she was done with him but obviously not because the fool is pregnant with his child.

I wish you luck Fanny and I hope you know what you are doing... MMMmmm!

Check out this clip of her announcing her pregnancy at a show:

The Monique Show Is Cancelled

2011-07-28T21:10:00.000-05:00

Sources are now revealing that The Monique Show on BET is being cancelled. Rodney Ho of AJC Radio and TV Talk stated he received a text message from Monique's sidekick on the show, Rodney Perry. The text revealed that the show was on "indefinite hiatus." - this pretty much means the show is cancelled. Other sources are saying that there was a conflict between BET and Monique's management.

I like the Monique Show because she doesn't interview guests and go after the negative or get dirt out of them. It's a positive show and it displays the talent that is out there.

I guess if the show picks up and we see new epidsodes, then the rumor is a dud but we shall see.

Pics of Toya And Memphitz Wedding

2011-07-28T20:46:00.000-05:00

Toya and Memphitz were married last month but their wedding finally aired on Toya's show A Family Affair this week. I must say this is one beautiful couple: Toya is gorgeous and trendy while Memphitz is handsome and oh so sexy! They both shared tears at the wedding; Toya was crying coming down the aisle and Memphitz started to tear up when he seen his bride. After watching the finale and seeing their wedding, I fell in love with these two even more. The wedding had other celebs there such as Tamar Braxton, Nivea, Lauren London, Tiny, and Monica.

Check out the pics of their wedding:

She looks so happy

Gorgeous

I wish these two a lifetime of love and happiness.

Single Ladies Picks Up A 2nd Season

2011-07-20T21:59:00.000-05:00

I am excited to say that Single Ladies will have a Season 2 and I am too excited!!! To be honest I was not a fan at all because the movie was way too boring for me. But the TV Series is really good and need I say more about the fashion. Those girls are HoTT!!!

Make sure to catch the finale of Season 1 on Monday, August 8. Season 2 will be filmed late this year but will not air until early 2012. I cannot wait! Congrats Ladies!!

Kim Kardashian Is Suing Old Navy

2011-07-20T21:48:00.000-05:00

There are reports floating that Kim K is suing Old Navy for using an actress in their ad that looks like her. The actress in the ad is Melissa Molinaro and coincidentally she is dating Kim's ex, Reggie Bush.

This is not a shocker to me because I figured Kim wasn't going to let that ride without making some type of noise. Honestly when I seen the ad I thought it was Kim but had to take a 2nd look. Chick, Melissa, is just doing her thing and trying to make... Kim needs to QUIT and let the girl be.

Kim is suing Old Navy for 15-20 million dollars because she said it has hurt her reputation.
Also Kim is upset because Old Navy posted a tweet with Kim's name about the look-alike ordeal:

"@CBSNEWS reports that Old Navy's Super CUTE star looks like @kimkardashian. #LOL. What do you think?"

Check out a clip of Melissa Molinaro and how she feels about people thinking she looks like Kim and the Old Navy ad

Interesting.

So Amar'e Stoudemire And Ciara Aren't Dating?!?!

2011-07-16T21:40:00.000-05:00

At the 2011 ESPY Awards NY Knicks player, Amar'e Stoudemire, was not there with alleged girlfriend Ciara but with his baby mama. Her name is Alexis and she is not that bad looking; she is pretty cute. There is news speculating that Amar'e and Ciara broke up last month.
Check out the pics of Amar'e and his ex-girl, baby mama, whatever, Alexis...

They look good together...

Shaunie O'Neal Discusses Stereotypes Against Black Women

2011-07-16T21:28:00.000-05:00

Many of you know that Shaunie O'Neal is the Executive Producer of Basketball Wives and she was recently at the Essence Music Festival discussing stereotypes against black women on their television panel. Shaunie pretty much states that she does not like the fact that black women are view as "loud and angry" on TV. She also discusses that there are shows out there that really do show another side to black women such as "Tiny and Toya" and "The Braxton Family Values."

In my opinion Shaunie is right, but look at what Shaunie has created - Basketball Wives. The show is good because of the DRAMA and displays exactly what Shaunie says black women are looked as: Loud and Angry. You have Evelyn who starts with everyone and degrades women by calling them "bum bitches" and you have Tami and Meeka who are drinking all the time and always trying to fight each other. The only true women on the show is Jennifer but even she has her flaws. To be honest, Shaunie is a bit messy and can be catty as well.

I love you Shaunie but you need to practice what you preach...

On to more news with the franchised show Basketball Wives LA. It appears that Shaunie is unhappy with the show and cast. Shaunie recently expressed some of her feelings to EbonyJet.com. I am guessing the main reason why she isn't feeling it is because of Ms. Laura Govan. This woman allegedly slept with Shaq and caused the divorce between Shaunie and Shaq. I wouldn't be happy with the project either.

Basketball Wives LA will be airing on August 29th onVH1 and I can't wait to see what drama the LA ladies are going to bring.

Happy 13th Birthday Malia Obama

Jennifer From B-Ball Wives Got A New Man!!

2011-07-04T20:28:00.000-05:00

Jennifer Williams was spotted at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans with her new man. His name is Lucas James and sources say that Jennifer confirms that they are indeed dating...hmmmm. Jennifer is freshly divorced from pro-baller Eric Williams but we all know that relationship wasn't going so well.

She has also confirmed that Lucas will not be on the upcoming season of Basketball Wives. Lucas had his fair share of being on reality TV; he was on a show called "Date My Ex" and won... Honestly, I have never heard of this show =(.

The two have apparently been spotted together at a few events.

I wish you the best Jennifer!

What The Hell... Amber Rose Put On A Wig!!

2011-07-04T20:15:00.000-05:00

Amber Rose decided to show up to Jamie Foxx's Celebrity Weekend at the Ceasar's Palace in a curly wig... I just want to know what inspired this. Obviously it's a wig but it's A LOT of hair. Amber Rose can be a little bit of an attention whore so this is probably one of her moves to get the attention she wants.

So I want to know what ya'll think... Is this look FIERCE or do you prefer her to keep the bald look?

MASSIVE BEYONCE POST!!!

2011-07-01T21:55:00.000-05:00

My girl Bey has really been on the media scene this week and looking extremely FIERCE!!

She performed at the BET AWARDS this past Sunday and like I posted last week I knew she wouldn't be there because she is touring overseas in Europe. Her performance was HoTTT and definitely on point. I was kind of upset that she didn't perform "Run the World' since it's a hot song but the song "End of Time" was just as good

Then Beyonce featured a mini documentary, "Year of 4." This showed how the album came into play, how it was inspired and what influenced it. There was clips of her working on the dancing to some of the songs and even how she found the guys in the "Run the World" video; their name is Tofu Tofu and those dudes can dance for real! Bey also had help in picking the songs for the album from her friends and Jay (of course) and then we go to see her in action while doing a photoshoot. The mini-doc just really showed that it takes a lot of hard work to make an album and that this album comes from a special place. Bey is truly the hardest working woman in the game... even if she took a year off.

Check out the "Year of 4" if you missed it:

Happy 40th Birthday Missy!

2011-07-01T21:26:00.000-05:00

Wishing Missy Elliot a FIERCE Birthday!!

If you didn't catch Behind the Music featuring Missy, then you definitely missed something special. It featured Missy's life as a child being raised in a volatile and abusive atmosphere and then how she was a teenager and got a deal with her singing group. It showed the emotional side of Missy when she discussed the death of Aaliyah and then how she dealt with the media making marks on her weight. She also addressed the reason why she has been gone from the rap scene; the reason is that she was diagnosed with Graves Disease. Missy is currently in the lab working on her album and I am anxious for it to come out!!!!

Amber Rose Set To Have A Reality Show

2011-06-23T21:22:00.000-05:00

So one of the FIERCEST celebs, Amber Rose, will have a reality show airing this fall. Amber's show will be called "Behind Her Shades" which will follow her present life and what she is doing-- the title is very fitting since we don't know much about her. It's already in the works and she has been filming recently.

Amber is also opening a boutique in LA and it will feature vintage shades. The bombshell is definitely known for her shades so I think the boutiique might do well.

I am anxious to see what this show will be about. It should be interesting.

Where Has Missy Elliot Been?

2011-06-23T21:03:00.000-05:00

We all have been so used to hearing a Missy Elliot song on the radio and for the past few years she has been absent from the scene. So where has the "Work It" rapper been? Missy recently revealed to People Magazine that she has Graves Disease. She was diagnosed with the disease in 2008. Graves Disease affects the thyroids and can cause serious issues with the nervous system. Along with these symptoms, Missy talked about how she was losing weight and her hair. The rapper states " I couldn't write because my nervous system was so bad -- I couldn't even use a pen." Missy is doing better and has not been on meds in almost a year but will have to live with the disease for the rest of her life.

Missy will be featured on Behind the Music on June 29th and I am sure she will discuss her absenteeism from the rap game and how this disease has affected her.

Keep your head up Missy!!

The Fashion On The Show Singles Ladies is HoTT!!!

2011-06-21T12:15:00.000-05:00

The fashion game for the cast of Single Ladies is ridiculous!! Stacey Dash has the hottest shoes and accessories, Lisa Raye has the fiercest dresses, and Charity Shay has the bomb everyday outfits. I was able to find a clip of one of the stylists discussing the fashion for Stacey Dash and behind the scene glances at her wardrobe. Her stylist is actually someone all of us fashionistas know, Anthony L. Williams from Project Runway. Check out the clip below:
