You are a bike addict when:  You convert your car's brake and gas pedals to clipless. Some of you might remember i bought a Koga Miyata Flyer circa 1987 at a barn and it turned to be in immaculate condition. The only problem was that it also came with rubber fittings from 1987. The "original" Shimano brake shoes that came with the bike had all the stopping prowess of wooden blocks.

I have been unable to bicycle these last couple of months after I tore the ligaments on my left ankle. Ironically this happened as I was trying to get my bicycle downstairs on the wicked dutch stairs. I spent 2012 Easter looking for bunnies along the "bollenstreek" (flower bulb) cycling route. This route winds between the hamlets of Sassenheim and Lisse which are the heart of the Dutch tulip growing belt. Along the route you will encounter fields of tulips, daffodils and more.
