Fifth Town’s cheese was given top marks at this year’s British Empire Cheese Show. Bonnie and Floyd won first, Wishing Tree came in second, Skipping Stone and Nettles Gone Wild both came in third. A big thanks goes out to our team here at Fifth Town for making such great cheese!

We’ll be at Taste on Saturday, September 24th in the beautiful Crystal Palace in Picton. We’ll be selling sampling plates and cheese and our Master Cheesemaker, Stephanie Diamant, will be giving a seminar comparing goat, sheep and cow milk and cheese.

Fifth Town took 5 out of 21 awards given to Ontario dairies at this weekend’s American Cheese Society 2011 Annual Cheese Competition held in Montréal! Over 1600 entries! Winning cheeses include Premium Goat Milk Cheddar (old and mild), Rose Haus, Fellowship, and Cape Vessey! For details read on!
