Ha Ji Won now stars in an Upcoming Drama Series “Empress Ki”

Recently, teaser posters have been revealed showing Ha Ji Won and other cast members in their characters.

In the first poster above, Ha Ji Won is looking elegant wearing a colorful traditional Korean dress and on the second image, still wearing vibrant robes, a tension of a love triangle is seen.

Ha Ji Won and co-stars Ji Chang Wook and Joo Jin Mo will be in another Goryeo era as they portray mature roles. The other cast of the upcoming drama “Empress Ki” also includes Baek Jin Hee, Kim Seo Hyung, Lee Moon Shik, Kim Young Ho, Jung Woong In, Kwon Oh Joong, Kim Jung Hyun, Jin Yi Han and Yoon Ah Jung.

Pee Mak Phra Khanong, the Highest Grossing Film in Asia

Mario Maurer as Mak, Davika Hoorne as Nak, Kantapat Permpoonpatcharasuk as Aey, Nuttapong Chartpong as Ter, Wiwat Kongrasri as Shin and Pongsathorn Jongwilak as Puak gave life to the highest grossing film in Asia, Pee Mak Phra Khanong.

Earning more than a billion baht ($33 million dollars) in revenue all over the world, the movie Pee Mak became a block buster hit. The story is an adaptation of an old Thai folklore Mae Nak Phra Khanong. Stories say a wife haunts a town and bewitches her husband to think that she is still alive.

The story of the ghost has been a subject on various films, TV series and printed media and the representations of the story in a somewhat humorous manner is common in Thai comic books and animated cartoons.

Even Idol Stars Have Insecurities

Looking at them on their dramas, movies and others are like gods and goddesses that came down to earth, but what they see is actually quite different.

In the hit drama series ‘The Heirs’, lead actors Park ShinHye and Lee Min Ho have their own insecurities saying that they don’t like what they look.

Actress Park Shin Hye that debuted in her acting career in 2003, became the most-demanded actress in her generation and appearing on various endorsements, somewhat thought that she is not that beautiful. An issue appeared when she was questioned about her nose being altered because of a slightly crooked nose tip. “As the tip of my nose is slightly crooked, I got comments from people saying that I looked ugly or that the end of my nose looked like it was split in the middle. I now consider it unique and considered it mine,” she said on the interview.

She said she had thought in the past on going on a surgery but decided not to and instead loved and accepted whatever her physical appearance is.

Park Shin Hye is not alone in this kind of dilemma, also her co-star and leading man, Lee Min Ho.

Lee Min Ho thinks that he is not as good looking as his male co-stars like Kim Woo Bin and Park Hyung Sik and envies them too. “My face and my defined double eyelids cause me some insecurity,” said Lee Min Ho, but I guess what Lee Min Ho thinks of himself is way too far from what his fans thinks of him.

Actors, actresses, idols, musicians and even ordinary citizens consider going under a knife will make their physical appearances more accepted and more of gain confidence. Changing your physical appearance isn’t bad at all as long as you don’t let it change who you are.

SM Town in Beijing Concert, a Success with Over 70, 000 Fans

After the Seoul, LA, Paris, New York, Tokyo, and Shanghai Concert Tour, SMTOWN landed in Beijing and dragged thousands of Chinese fans.

SMTOWN Live World Tour III in Beijing was held at the Bird’s Nest and artists like Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, SHINee, f(x), EXO, Jang Li Yin and TASTY performed their best and made the fans go crazy. This was SMTOWN’s first concert that the group TASTY from Woollim Label joined on stage.

The artists performed their hit songs and some collaboration summing up to an event of 49 songs, 46 artists, 16 dancers and other 190 staff members. This huge concert also brought a total of 18, 000 security personnel, which is the first time in the stadium’s history, where they have to assure the safety of almost 252 people from Korea and to make the event run smoothly.

Their next stop is Tokyo, where they will hold the SMTOWN Live World Tour III in Tokyo Special Edition on October 26 and 27.

‘Just Another Girl’ is Kim Jaejoong’s title song for his first album WWW

The song is a post-grunge rock that combines the strong beat of hard rock and punk. The song’s music video will be portrayed with series of drama scenes and stage scenes according his agency. The MV teaser is said to be released on the 22^nd.

Sandara Park’s Habit After Drinking

She didn’t mention a name but as the MC asked for name initials on who could that member be, CL remarked, “the person who passed on this CF to me,” and the 2NE1 member that also did a beer commercial before is none other than Sandara Park with actor Lee Min Ho.

After revealing a 2NE1 secret, shocked CL just stared at the camera and said, "Sorry, unnie".

Bae Suzy and BoA reached over 2 million followers on Twitter!

Last year, Miss A’s Suzy became the first female K-pop idol to reach 1 million followers in Twitter but now she broke her own record to be the first idol to reach 2 million!

Since Suzy entered the Twitter madness in 2010, fans all over have been excited to follow her and when she flourished from a group member to a notable actress, more and more people wanted to be part of her everyday updates.

But wait, fans are screaming it’s not the record. In a fun article released last September, singer BoA already reached a 2-million-follower. So how is this going to happen?

Some comments reasoned out, categorizing BoA as an artist while Suzy as an idol. Since BoA is somewhat a veteran in the entertainment industry as she debuted way back in 2000 and even referred to as The Queen of Korean Pop.

Whatever it is, BoA and Suzy are only thankful for the support and love they’re getting from their fans and all they wanted is a harmonious unity between fans.

During the filming of her upcoming drama series Reply 1994, actress Go Ara, tweeted a photo saying, “Hehe, having fun while diligently filming.” In the picture, Go Ara smiles brightly with her short permed hair that is obviously out of control yet still shows her innocent beauty.

With this, fans called her adorable hair "poodle hair" or what they call in the 90’s perm.

Some commented, "I think 'Reply 1994' is going to do well," "Go Ara is pretty," "Any hairstyle looks good on you," and "You're so pretty I think I'm going to fall into your eyes."

Uee and Jung Il Woo on the Upcoming K-drama "Golden Rainbow"

On October 16, the cast of the upcoming drama series Golden Rainbow, gathered at the Sky Park in Sangam-dong to have a photoshoot of their drama poster.

To be aired on November, actor Jung Il Woo teams up with After School’s Uee, Cha Ye Ryun and Lee Jae Yoon.

The Story

The story will revolve around the life of a girl who was taken away from her real mother and was soon adopted along with her other none blood-related brothers.

As they grew up, they developed a kinship love with one another. Soon, she will discover her true identity and her birth secret. Along the hardships, she will meet a long lost friend who later falls for her.

BigBang's Japanese Dome Tour (2013-2014)

Yesterday, BigBang’s agency, YG Entertainment, announced that the five-member boy group set another record, of 1.4 million preordered tickets in their dome tour in Japan starting this November.

Because of this, they decided to add one more show at Kyocera Dome in Osaka. The cities or domes which BigBang will hold their concerts are namely, Nagoya Dome in Nagoya, Seibu Dome in Saitama and Tokyo Dome in Tokyo.

This extended dome tour is said to be a payback for the VIP fans in their love and support for the group. Also, YGE is thankful for the men having their solo activities successful in Japan.

Big Bang will take over in six cities in Japan dragging hundreds of thousand fans in their concerts.

2NE1, Ambassadors for the Korean Brand and Entertainment Expo 2013

Actress of the upcoming drama “Future Choice”, Yoon Eun Hye confessed why she made her hair curly.

On a press conference, the actress was asked behind the reason why she chose a different hairstyle, and Eun Hye replied, “I wanted to look natural, so I decided to go for curly hair. As an actress, of course I wish to look pretty as well, but this time I wanted to try something new and carefree, a hairstyle that doesn’t look weird even if I move a lot. Most importantly, I didn’t want to care about my appearance too much.”

“While I was thinking about these things, I thought that many foreigners look beautiful with curly hair. I showed photos to the director and the writer, and they reacted positively, saying that the hair reminds them of a poodle dog. Women look at this hair and think that it’s cute, but men don’t really find it appealing, so I probably have to let my hair loose after the drama ends,” she added.

Because of the different image, poster and video teasers that came up, Yoon Eun Hye’s hairstyle was the most attention-grabbing among fans. Some say they liked her new look and some say, they love the old one, like the one she had on series like Missing You and Lie to Me.

“The Future Choice” or “Mi Rae’s Choice” will take over the drama series “Good Doctors”.

The main vocal Lee Hong Ki of the famous group FT Island will be the one to sing the main title song “This Meaning”.

The first two episodes were already aired and now fans are really fascinated by the drama. Many commented, saying, they love Lee Min Ho’s charms and Park Shin Hye’s acting skills.

Featuring the leading man in the drama, Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) is seen topless in the beaches of Malibu Beach in Los Angeles, California.

He was enjoying the summer beach and surrounded by beautiful women in bikini. It was very hot in the beach but Lee Min Ho was very active during the scenes.

Also, the American girls that acted with Lee Min Ho fell for his charisma. One actress tweeted saying, “It was such an honor to work with an Asian star”.

Production staff said, “Even though he was tired, Lee Min Ho always looked after the others on set. His captivating charisma, his diligent attitude, and his comforting smile showed us how great of an actor he is,” and “Please watch over Lee Min Ho and how he will take your breath away.”

Big Bang’s TOP, Wins at the “Asia Star Awards”

G-Dragon’s ‘Who You?’ MV, finished at last!

On G-Dragon’s Instagram update, he posted a photo saying that he just finished shooting the music video for the song “Who You?” with cartions, “The end! Thanks for your hard work, everyone! ‘Who You,’ coming soon!” In the image, G-dragon poses behind a wall where it wrote, "G-Dragon Who You? Music Video shoot on October 5th", but the release date of the MV is not yet announced.

With this, many fans anticipated and are very excited, waiting for its release. Knowing that the other previous music videos, Coup d'etat and Crooked he made has great popular appeal and gained millions of views on YouTube.

The shooting took place at the Korea International Exhibit Center (KINTEX) and around 1000 fans came to the center. Footages shot by fans themselves will be included in the music video. Wow!

The Taiwan version that was aired in 2001, which was internationally broadcast in Asian countries like Indonesia, Philippines, Hong Kong and Singapore.

The Japanese version that was broadcast in 2005 garnered high ratings on its Episodes.

The fifth TV adaptation is the Korean version where charismatic K-pop idols were casts. because of this it became the most popular teen-oriented drama series in Korea.

The Chinese version which they named "Meteor Shower", is more of an inspirational drama. It was aired in 2009.
