Marionnaud N38 Brush Review

If you’ve visited the beauty section of Watsons stores in Manila, then you’ve probably seen the stands of Marionnaud makeup brushes. If you’ve browsed through the display, you’ll have found that that the Marionnaud brushes offer an assortment of affordable brushes for different purposes and parts of the face. I tried one for the first time—the N38 or #28 brush.

According to the product packaging, N38 is a ‘Slanted eyeline & eyebrows double side brush’, and it’s made of synthetic fibers and helps shape perfect eyebrows.

This comes in a resealable plastic packaging. I like the resealable case. I don’t need to put the brush in it at home because I have a bigger container that I put all my brushes in, but for a medium-sized on-the-go cosmetics kit, I can place around three other brushes of similar size in it to avoid getting them dirty or their bristles ruffled.

The Marionnaud N38 brush is fairly simple. On one end, it has an angled, thin eyebrow or eyeliner brush, and on the other, a spoolie. I like to use this for doing my eyebrow makeup. I apply brow powder with the angled end, then blend using the spoolie, after which I put on some brow mascara, and blend again using the spoolie for a softer, more natural look.

The angled end is a little bigger than what I’m used to, but it works just fine and covers a larger area more quickly than a smaller brush. I don’t use it to line my eyes because I prefer thinner, smaller eyeliner brushes for that.

I got this at Watsons for only PhP 59.75. At that price, you’d think this was a crappy brush, but it’s not. The bristles on it are not rough, and aren’t splayed or too sparse either. The texture of the hair on the angled liner end is kinda soft, but just firm enough for for precise application. The spoolie is pretty typical, but overall what’s convenient about the Marionnaud N38 brush is that it’s got two of the tools I need for doing my brows in one brush. Super convenient. I think this is a steal.

Marionnaud N38 Brush – What I like:

The convenience of having both tools I need for doing my eyebrows in a singe product.

The hairs on it aren’t rough, too hard, or splayed. It’s soft but firm.

Doesn’t have any smell.

Doesn’t bleed or shed when I wash it.

It doesn’t look cheap…

Although the price of it actually is.

Comes with a resealable, clear plastic pouch.

This is easy to find. Just check Watsons branches and department stores.

Marionnaud N38 Brush – What I don’t like:

Nothing.

Overall:

This is decent quality for such a cheap price. Marionnaud N38 is a convenient brush to use for those who do their eyebrows daily and like to blend the colors together for a softer and more natural look. I’ll definitely be buying more Marionnaud brushes, so watch out for more reviews.

Different Jean Styles – Which One Is Right For You?

Whenever I go shopping for jeans, I can never resist trying on four or five (or more) different jean styles. Yup, as many as that. But ultimately, it boils down to how they fit and if they flatter my body. As much as I’d like for certain styles to look good on me, some simply don’t, and however many different jean styles I fit, I often end up going home with only one or two because I’m particular finding one that fits me right.

How ’bout you, are you adventurous when it comes to trying different jean styles? Do you know which one is right for you? For some ideas, please do continues reading.

1. Skinny jean

Man, when skinny jeans were all the rage some years ago, I really wanted them to look good on me—I love how they look worn with sneakers, which I tend to wear often, and they didn’t look bad with heels, pumps, boots, or sandals either. However, having a distended belly and short legs that tend to get meaty did not make this style flattering on me. When I saw how good the skinny jean looked on my petite best friend, and on my skinny sister, I realized that this style is more suitable for those who have slimmer waists and legs, since this cut tends to hug pretty much all places, it’s not the style to wear if there are areas that you want to avoid emphasizing.

2. Bootcut

My personal fave. While this jean cut isn’t particularly trendy, it suits a wide range of female body types. Bootcut jeans hug most of the hips and thighs, then flare out very slightly, and not as loosely as flared jeans, over the lower leg. Of course, as with all jeans, there’s also the matter of the color and rise (low rise seems to be all I can find these days) that work alongside the jean style to determine if a certain pair of bootcut jeans is to your style and shape.

3. Flared

Ugh, memories. Flared jeans were big in Manila back in the early 2000s, when I was a freshman in college. It seemed like the perfect style back then ’cause it was relaxed and versatile, but looking at my old photos, I wish I hadn’t worn them all the time because they looked sloppy on some occasions. The flared jeans which were the trend back then tended to flare out through the entire length of the leg, getting wider as it goes down. I still see these today, although there are also modern takes on it that fit snugly on the thigh ’til the knee then flare out moderately on the lower leg. I love these modern flares in a dark, indigo wash, which look quite chic. This style is flattering to taller women, but if petite women want to wear them, they can try a pair in a longer length then wearing those with wedges or high heels. Wide, flared jeans on petite girls wearing flats or flipflops can make them look even more petite and shorter.

4. Straight

The name is self-explanatory: it’s a pretty much straight cut, all the way from the lower hip to the end of the leg. They do not flare nor taper towards the end of the leg. This style can look good on a variety of body shapes, especially on petite women or those who want their legs to look longer since this jean type can supposedly make legs look longer. Definitely pair them with heels if you wanna look more long-legged.

5. Boyfriend

The newest jean style on the list. I first saw this in a photo of Katie Holmes, wherein the caption said that she’d borrowed them from her husband, Tom Cruise. Since them I learned that it’s called Boyfriend jeans. These can be worn a variety of ways, but I mostly see them with cuffs rolled up, slightly distressed, and with a belt. This style is recommended for those with boyish shapes or top-heavy women. On the other hand, bottom-heavy or those with a pear shape might want to avoid this, because this style being loose, can make the lower half of the body look bigger.

Whatever the style is, it always helps when the pair of jeans you have on are comfortable. It’s also good to have an honest friend with you when you shop too, to give you their frank opinions. Good luck with finding the perfect pair!

The Balm Hot Mama Blush Review

This is my first The Balm product ever. I always see this brand whenever I pop by Beauty Bar store here in the Philippines. I’ve always wanted to buy their products because their packaging is gorgeous and very nice to look at, but never got the chance to.
I received this Hot Mama Blush by The Balm as a gift from my cousins last Christmas. As always, the first thing I noticed upon tearing up the wrapper was the attractive packaging.

From The Balm Hot Mama Blush packaging:

Sexy Shadow & Beautiful Blush All-in-One!

I’m not a shadow or a blush person so I wasn’t too excited to use this one. But of course, I can’t let this one pass by for too long and got the urge to use it for the first time.

Ingredients:

Boron nitride, Polyethylene, Isoeicosane, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Silica, Polyisobutene, PTFE, Synthetic Wax, Dimethicone, Sodium dehydroacetate. May contain [+/- MICA, Titanium dioxide (C1 77891), Carmine (CI 75470), (Iron oxide) CI 77491)]

I was surprised by how pigmented it is. One swipe on the pan of Hot Mama onto the cheek is enough. But it’s a whole lot nicer on me when I use it as a highlighter.

What I like about The Balm Hot Mama:

This peachy pink blush gives off a lovely color on my fair complexion.

It imparts a very nice glow, making my face look vibrant and dewy.

I use it as a highlighter because of its gold shimmer.

The color lasts for hours, touch ups are not needed at all.

The cute packaging of Hot Mama! This is why I was always tempted to buy their products even though I haven’t tested them yet.

The packaging was very handy enclosed with big mirror, and I also love the magnetic part of the container that keeps it closed.

Hot Mama is a great substitute for NARS Orgasm blush.

The price which is not too steep for a product that can perform well.

What I don’t like about The Balm Hot Mama:

It’s too shimmery for my taste because I prefer matte blushes, so I only use this as a highlighter.

With all the shimmer of Hot Mama, I think it’s not suited for those with large pores since the gold specks tend to accentuate large pores.

I don’t know if the packaging is sturdy enough, being made of cardboard.

Overall:

If you want shimmery blushes then The Balm Hot Mama might be a good option for you. I would have used this if only it had less shimmers. I haven’t tried it as an eye shadow, but I think the color would suit as an eye shadow for summer or spring.

Since it’s a two-in-one product, it would be very handy to bring this instead of carrying a separate eye shadow and blush when travelling. I use this mainly as a highlighter and it really gives me a nice, subtle glow when used on top of my blush. It is also very photogenic, being glowy and having hints of shimmer. If you are looking for blush backups minus the hefty price tag, well, Hot Mama is a good substitute for NARS Orgasm.

I’m glad that I’ve started bringing my own massage oil when I get massages at spas. The oil used during a massage really gets worked into the skin, and it’s rubbed all over, so when my skin doesn’t agree with the particular oil or concoction used, sensitive areas turn itchy and red. Kinda ruins the relaxing experience. I knew that Human Heart Nature released new products around the start of May, and one of them happened to be a massage oil, so I decided to try that.

What the company says about the product:

Stressed? Frazzled? We know how it feels. Unwind yourself. This healthy massage oil has nature’s premium calming trio: lavender, orange and lemongrass essential oils that will help calm your busy mind, body and soul.

Our Natural Care Labs made sure you get an authentic healing and pampering experience by using the finest ingredients from nature that are not only relaxing but are also packed with healing nutrients.

There are two variants of the massage oil—Rejuvenating (eucalyptus & rosemary) and Calming (lavender, orange, lemongrass). I picked Calming because based on the description, I thought I’d probably like the scent of it better.

And I was right. Usually I avoid lemongrass-scented bath and body items, but combined with the lavender and orange here, it’s barely detectable. The combination of the lavender, orange, and lemongrass creates a softened, just the slightest bit sweet, orange scent. It smells good. Even the massage therapists whom I asked to use this on me have commented on how nice it smells. Some even said to me that it must be an expensive oil.

It’s not though, I got the 95ml bottle for PhP 185 via the Human Heart Nature website, and a larger bottle, 195 ml, is also available for PhP 340.

The scent overall is pretty relaxing and yes, calming. But it’s on the mild side though, and I wish the scent were stronger and lasted a little longer on the skin. I’m happy to report that this doesn’t irritate my skin at all. No itching, redness, or rashes anywhere after full-body massages. A lot of times a bit of the oil gets on my face when therapists massage my temples, forehead, and scalp, but there haven’t been any negative reactions even on my facial skin.

Pump dispenser

Human Heart Nature Calming Massage Oil – What I like:

It smells good. A relaxing scent.

It doesn’t irritate my skin at all.

The pump bottle works fine. It’s easy to use.

It’s made of all-natural ingredients.

It’s locally made. Support!

It’s not expensive.

Human Heart Nature Calming Massage Oil – What I don’t like:

The scent is mild lang. I’d prefer it to be stronger.

Has to be purchased online, through resellers, and the Human Heart Nature shop in Quezon City. It’s not as widely available as their shampoos, deodorant, feminine wash, or sanitizer sprays, which I’ve spotted at supermarkets.

Overall:

I like it a lot. The feel of the oil is just right too, this is not a thin oil but it’s not overly thick or heavy. Love the scent, I enjoy it so I wish it wasn’t mild and were more potent. Locally-made, affordable, and gentle to my skin. This has my thumbs up.

Fashion 21 Liquid Eyeliner Review

There’s this proverb that goes “The eyes are the window of the soul”. For me this means that by looking into the eyes of a person we can see their hidden emotions and thoughts. But what if the person is wearing fabulous eyeliner, what do we see? Well, I think I see creativity and art. Right? I rarely wear eyeliners because I have a hard time applying them especially liquid ones. But through practice I know I can get better. Today, I’ll be reviewing my first liquid eyeliner ever!

Packaging

It kinda looks cheap for me. I think it would look better if they made the tube plain black.

Ingredients

Aqua, Stearic Acid, Cera Alba, PVP, Copernicia Cerifera Cera, Glycerin, Polysorbate 20, Panthenol Metyl Paraben, Propyl Paraben, May Contain C.I. 77499, C.I. 77491.

Performance

This is not the blackest black I’ve seen but it looks good enough for me. The applicator is a brush type that bends when you apply it.

It lasts all day on my oily lids and doesn’t smudge. That’s one good thing with liquid eyeliners; they don’t smudge unless you rub them off. No raccoon eyes at the end of the day!

Even though it is waterproof I find it very easy to remove, you’ll just have to peel it off using your fingers or a Q-tip. Any excess could be easily removed by soap and water, or better yet makeup remover.

Swatch

Rubbed again under running water

Price

Php120.00

Where To Buy

Available at department stores and Watsons outlets. I usually buy at Landmark, Trinoma. (My favorite department store!)

What I Like About the Fashion 21 Liquid Eyeliner

Lasts all day

Doesn’t smudge

Easy to remove

Ingredients are listed on the packaging

Affordable

Filipino made! (Atin to!)

What I Don’t Like About the Fashion 21 Liquid Eyeliner

The packaging looks cheap

It doesn’t have a nice smell, it smells like chemicals

Tips

Practice makes perfect (if you have time you could practice applying it even though you are not going out. That’s what I do. I apply whenever I feel like it even I’m just home bumming around).

Draw a guide line with an eye pencil or eyeshadow using an angled eyeliner brush first (by doing this it would be easier to smudge away mistakes with a cotton bud, and once you have created a precise powder or pencil line to follow, you will be less likely to go wrong when it’s time to apply the liquid layer.

To achieve a perfect lash line, apply the eyeliner as close to the base of the eyelashes as possible.

Elongate the eyes by creating a wing at the outer corner of the upper lash line.

Apply in dotted lines if you have shaky hands.

Rest your elbows on a table to help keep your hand steady.

Will I Repurchase?

Yes!

Final Thoughts

If you are still a makeup beginner like me and want to practice applying liquid eyeliner then I highly recommend this one. It is affordable and works just like high end brands. No need to splurge on expensive eyeliners since this one could do the job right. Why spend P1000+ on eyeliners that work similarly as this does?

Bobbie Holoprism Nail Polishes – Margarita and Mojito

The names of the polishes in the Bobbie Holoprism collection totally make me crave for a nice, cool cocktail…although the colors of each one don’t necessarily correspond to the cocktail they’re named after. Take for example the shades I’ll be reviewing now—Margarita is pink, while Mojito is purple.

In direct sunlight. I’m holding the bottle of Etude House Dear Darling Cuticle Softener, which I’d just used, because the mini bottles of Bobbie are a bit hard to hold. Yes, my fingers and hands really have a lot of lines.

Anyway, they’re pretty. I made a “gradient” manicure using Margarita and Mojito. I know I’m supposed to use a sponge for a better, finer gradient effect, but I didn’t feel like looking for a sponge I could use, so I just used the brushes on the polishes themselves. At first I thought it looked ugly, but as I finished painting more fingers, it began to look alright to me.

Both of these, as I mentioned, are from the Holoprism Collection, which is composed of six polishes with holographic particles. The holo effect is stronger in some of the others, and weaker in some such as Margarita.

Margarita is a light pink with silvery holo flecks. It’s very simple and girly. Mojito is a plummy purple with multicolored holo particles. I thought they’d look nice together, don’t they? In indoor lighting the combo looks like a slightly shimmery pink and purple, but viewed under the sun, it comes alive and looks more holo. The pretty, sparkly holographic bits in it look rather lovely and to me forgives the crudeness of my supposed gradient application.

Both are pretty sheer, so I thought it’d be easier to sort of merge the two shades together, and I was right. With Margarita, after three thin coats, my nail line is still visible. Mojito was less sheer and needed two coats.

For this mani, I applied two coats of Margarita on all of my nails, then, starting from the tips, I painted Mojito more than halfway over each one. After that, I applied Margarita on the upper half of each nail. Lastly, I put on some top coat.

Both have a similar formula—thin and kinda watery, but generally smooth with no major application issues. They dry quickly and the brushes are okay. They cost PhP 35.50 each at Robinson’s Department Stores.

Bobbie Holoprism Nail Polishes – Margarita and Mojito – Pros:

Cute colors.

The holographic effect looks especially lovely in the sun.

Didn’t encounter any problems with application.

They dry quickly.

They’re very affordable.

Easily accessible.

Bobbie Holoprism Nail Polishes – Margarita and Mojito – Cons:

Both are on the sheer side, Margarita even more so.

If you’re averse to strong smells, these have it.

Overall:

For inexpensive, locally-available polishes with a holo effect, these are great choices. I have all the shades in the Bobbie Holoprism Collection—Margarita, Mojito, Vodka On Ice, Weng Weng, Mint Daiquiri, and Mudslide—but have only played with these two so far. These are lovely pretty polishes by Bobbie that are worth a look.

Benefit Cha Cha Tint Review

Ever since I realized and finally got to appreciate the convenience of lip & cheek tints, I have since then tried a couple of such products. I fell in love with Benefit’s Poppy pink shade which is Posie Tint; unfortunately, though, Benetint didn’t cut it for me. Then when Benefit released their newest shade described as a mango tinted lip & cheek stain, I wanted one for myself but somehow could not bring myself a full size due to the knowledge that the life span of tints are relatively shorter than those of powder blushes. I was waiting for a mini size but when I could no longer manage my curiosity and lemming, I gave in and got myself one. After using it a few times, I think I can finally give it a review and here it is.

According to Benefit…

This mango-tinted stain beautifully blushes lips & cheeks with a tropical sunset hue. Smooch-proof & smudge-proof, this sheer stain will have you looking deliciously sun-kissed for hours.

Ingredients:

WATER (AQUA), ETHYLHEXYL STEARATE, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, PENTYLENE GLYCOL, HYDROXYETHYL ACRYLATE/SODIUM ACRYLOYLDIMETHYL TAURATE COPOLYMER, DIMETHICONE PEG-7 PHOSPHATE, SQUALANE, PHENOXYETHANOL, TITANIUM DIOXIDE (CI 77891), LECITHIN, POLYSORBATE 60, YELLOW 6 (CI 15985), TETRASODIUM EDTA, RED 7 LAKE (CI 15850), RED 27 (CI 45410), DISODIUM EDTA. N° 05786/N Please read the ingredient list on the packaging of your product to be sure that the ingredients are appropriate for your personal use. – I like this disclaimer.

And here’s what I have to say about Cha Cha Tint:

Benefit Cha Cha Tint - Pros

The shade is a gorgeous orange-coral which can brighten and adds just the right amount of warmth on the face. I can imagine pale and sallow skin will easily experience brightening with this shade.

I like that the texture and consistency of this product is the same as that of Posie Tint which is gel-like and not as runny and watery as Benetint. I find such texture easier to spread and blend. And the fact that it isn’t watery allows you to have enough time to blend it with less worry that it’ll right away leave a nasty stain or dots on your cheeks.

As a cheek tint, it looks very pretty and perfect for summer.

As a lip tint, it somehow brings out the natural pinkness of my lips. It looks pretty natural, just a tad brighter but still very wearable even for work.

A little goes a long way. I find that a dot is just enough or both my cheeks. For my lips, one dot is also enough as too much can make me look overly warm and toasted, perhaps.

Staying power is good! It lasts for more than 5 hours on me given how the scorching summer heat is making both my sweat and oil glands work not just double time, but triple time! It fades to a nice peachy flush as the day comes to an end.

Now locally available here in Manila! Yey! Take that, fake sellers! Yes, sellers who sell fakes for almost the same price as the original ones. Bad sellers, real bad. :D

Benefit Cha Cha Tint - Cons

Can be a little pricey for a lip & cheek tint but hey, you get 12.5 mL of mango tinted goodness! But you better be quick in using it up which brings me to the next con.

Only has a shelf life of 12 months or 1 year. Giorgio Armani made it possible for their blushing fabrics to last for 2 years. But then again, this is relatively cheaper than Giorgio Armani so I guess this is acceptable and pretty much the standard for non-powder blushes.

Can look neon or too bright for those with really really fair and pale skin.

Not widely available in malls. And the places where Benefit Cosmetics have branches at are in Makati and I think in EDSA Shangri- la too. This is a con for those who live far up north.

Now has a lot of fakes too!

Tip:

One of the things to look out for when you purchase your item online is the mouth/opening of the bottle. Authentic ones have clear ones; fakes don’t and usually have the same color as the bottle.

Overall

This is such a nice lip & cheek tint if you are getting tired of the usual reds and pinks that are available in the market. If you are not fond of corals and oranges, skip this.

Herbal Essences None of Your Frizzness Shampoo Review

I like to stick to inexpensive shampoos. No way I’d spend a lot on something that gets used up so quickly and has to be replaced every month, even though I do want to take good care of my hair. I just limit my choices to the ones at supermarkets or drugstores. Herbal Essences is a brand I always check out when I’m running low on shampoo or want to try a new one—with their colorful packaging, funny product names, and decent quality, I guess it’s become a favorite. None of Your Frizzness is my fourth Herbal Essences Shampoo.

What the company says about the product:

is your head a little fuzzy? don’t worry. my smoothing shampoo, with a fusion of mandarin crème and pearl, helps take care of frizzness. it resists humidity with an anti-frizz potion, smoothing frizz down and helping to keep it from creeping back up. your hair will come out looking as smooth as silk. for extra sleek style, follow with my smoothing conditioner. (yes, their website product descriptions are all in small caps)

As I mentioned, this is the fourth Herbal Essences Shampoo variant I’ve tried, and I used the other ones (Color Me Happy, and Hydralicious in Pink and Purple) to the last drop. I think None of Your Frizzness might be my favorite so far.

Besides the cheerful bright orange packaging, I like the scent as well. In the product description above, mandarin is mentioned, but to me the fruity component in this smells more like canned peaches, and I like peach scents a lot. The overall scent is like creamy shampoo smell with a bit of peach. It’d be great if the scent could last longer on my tresses. though.

I noticed that this produces less lather than the other variants I tried, although the amount isn’t so little that it’s bothersome. It’s easy to rinse out and doesn’t leave any residue or cause build-up on my scalp.

As for controlling frizz, personally I find that it helps. It’s by no means a miracle product, and not good enough to not use conditioner afterwards, but I do notice that the frizziness is lessened by a certain degree—None of Your Frizzness definitely provides more frizz control than the other supermarket shampoos I’ve used. My hair is naturally straight, color-treated, and is usually dry and frizzy. This helps reduce the frizz by a bit. But it could provide more moisturization. This isn’t moisturizing enough for my dry hair.

I got this at a Robinson’s Department Store for PhP 221 for a 300 ml bottle. It also has a conditioner counterpart.

The subtle fruity scent.

The brightly-colored bottle.

Helps reduce frizz.

Doesn’t make my scalp itch.

Neither does it leave residue on my tresses or build-up on my scalp.

It’s affordable.

Locally available.

Herbal Essences None of Your Frizzness Shampoo – Dislikes:

It’s not particularly moisturizing. This doesn’t provide enough moisture to my dry hair.

Overall:

I like this, I would purchase it again, and might buy the None of Your Frizzness conditioner. I like the decent performance of it at an affordable price tag. For an inexpensive shampoo that reduces a bit of frizz, try this one.

The Face Shop Lovely ME:EX Pencil Sponge Eyebrow

I love grooming my brows, they totally change my overall appearance making it more framed and polished. This product that I’ll be reviewing today is my first goodie from The Face Shop. I’ve shied away from their products because I find them overpriced and lacking for girly appearance if you’ll compare it to Etude House. Now for the review!

01 Soft Brown

Product Description

An eyebrow pencil that has a sponge tip to create natural-looking brows and enable easy application

Application:

After opening, take out the tip inside and apply softly on wanted area.

Ingredients

Mica, Talc, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides, Silica, Dimethicone

I usually use my In2it eyebrow color palette, either the lightest or the medium shade. Since I couldn’t bring that along with me whenever I use a small bag, I bring this one along in case of emergency touch ups, though that usually doesn’t happen to me since In2it’s eyebrow powder is really pigmented and lasts long.

I typically use this when I’m so lazy to even use a brush. The sponge that comes with it is perfect for applying it on my brows since it’s neither that soft nor hard. The color is soft brown with no red undertones. I hate eyebrow color that gives red tones since it looks horrible (red brows seriously??). My brows look natural even though I have naturally dark hair. It doesn’t look fake! I love using brown shades for my brows since black looks too ferocious and harsh. What I want to achieve is soft, natural color.

The texture is like that of any eyeshadow, soft and smooth. It is really blendable and looks great when a clear gel is applied after. It is a bit chalky since it is in loose powder form. It stays longer if I apply eyebrow set or clear gel over it.

Price

Got this as a gift! :) but I think it retails at P314.00

Where To Buy

What I Like About the The Face Shop Lovely ME:EX Pencil Sponge Eyebrow

Looks natural

No red undertones

Application is no fuss

Less time consuming compared to pencils

The packaging is perfect for quick touch ups

What I Don’t Like About the The Face Shop Lovely ME:EX Pencil Sponge Eyebrow

A little chalky

Doesn’t last that long if applied alone

Tips

Never use black brow color on your eyebrows as they can make the eyebrow look super unnatural.

Your brows are supposed to be a few shades lighter than your hair. About 3 shades lighter than your natural hair color for a subtle, natural look.

Powders are more natural-looking and easier to apply than pencils. You have to be very careful with pencils as they may look drawn if not blended properly.

You could also use an eyebrow pencil first, blend well and then apply this brow powder.

Apply the product by brushing upward and following the natural arch of your brow.

Top it off with a clear eyebrow gel to keep it in place and make it last longer.

Will I Repurchase?

No, I prefer In2it’s brow color and since I only use it for touch ups I think it would last long.

Final Thoughts

I love filling in my brows since it gives them a fuller look. I don’t like thin brows as it makes me look old. Lot of times I forgo all makeup except that. If you are looking for a brow filler that is in powder form and is quite handy then this one is for you!
