SkyDrive for Mac–Hiding Icon While Running

The new and improved SkyDrive is Microsoft’s answer to Dropbox. The new version of SkyDrive includes a free upgrade to 25GB for those that already had an account and 7GB for those with new accounts. You can download the Mac version of SkyDrive here.
After installing the Mac version, however, you may notice that you cannot hide the app icon while running. There is a work around for this right now.

Close any running instances of SkyDrive
Open Terminal
Type: defaults write /Applications/SkyDrive.app/Contents/Info.plist LSUIElement 1
You may need to restart the client or machine if SkyDrive was running.

Google is playing catch-up with Facebook but I think that they have a potentially great product if they can crank out some updates soon after the launch. Some of these may already be in the works for Google+. We will have to wait and see how Google responds to customer demands and the obvious huge lead that Facebook already has.

1. Make a native iPhone / iPad app
2. Add ability to edit the title of a link you are sharing
3. Add ability to edit the description of a link you are sharing
4. Make YouTube more integrated with the Videos section of Google+
5. Add ability for Businesses to create pages
6. Make the comments below a post collapsible.
7. Make it easier to find friends and family on Google+
8. Add ability to comment on comments
9. Add ability to mute a person's posts without having to block them
10. Add ability to share from Google Reader to Google+
11. Consolidate photo tags
12. Update the stream in real-time
13. Fix titles from a +1
