Courtesy of Deadline we were able to find out that Inceptions Joseph Gordon Levitt is in talks to play and unknown roll in The Dark Knight Rises. Rumors popped up immediately after the Dark Knight was released about JGL taking on the roll of the Joker after Heath Ledgers unfortunate passing. Seeing as how the two have a remarkably close resemblance to one another it is not a surprise that fans would immediately go that route but Director Christopher Nolan immediately Debunked that rumor. Then The rumors immediately jumped to him portraying The Riddler which Nolan once again debunked. So who would JGL be playing?

An interesting little bit of news just popped up about one of the shooting locations in particular for The Dark Knight Rises. It alludes to the possibility that Batmans young ward Robin may make an appearance in Nolans third Batman Installment. Heres the quote courtesy of WILX.com

They looked at the Ledges as well as a water treatment plant located inside the park. Sources say the area is being considered as a hideout for Batman sidekick Robin.

It is very possible that this could be just a big rumor especially considering Nolan has said on numerous occasions that Robin will never show his face in any of his films. Could it be possible that this was just ploy to throw off fans? Or is it possible that someone changed his mind about the inclusion of the Boy Wonder?

Interestingly enough I could see JGL take on the roll of Robin, he has a youthful demeanor that i could see play a more realistic version of the character. In my personal opinion if Robin as added to the film I could see him introduced as someone who is a bit older rather than a ten year old like in the comics. Now all of this is just fan boy speculation, we will certainly have to wait and see Nolans response to all these rumors before anything is set in stone.

Hey everyone we are currently under some construction in order to make sure it is easy for all you guys out there to navigate the site!! But for now we get into the story of Tron: Legacy! Warning: There are Spoilers in this article!

In 1989, Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), an innovative software engineer and the CEO of ENCOM International, disappears. Twenty years later, his son, Sam (Garrett Hedlund), who became the controlling shareholder after his father’s disappearance, takes little interest in the company besides an annual practical joke on the board of directors. Sam is visited by his father’s friend and ENCOM executive Alan Bradley (Bruce Boxleitner), who urges Sam to investigate a mysterious pager message originating from Flynn’s old arcade. While exploring the arcade, Sam discovers a concealed computer laboratory and unintentionally transports himself to The Grid.

Sam is captured and taken to the game arena. He is eventually pitted against Rinzler, the champion of the games, who notices that Sam is not a program, but a User. Rinzler takes him before Clu, a digital copy of Sam’s father who rules The Grid. Clu nearly kills Sam in a Light Cycle match before Quorra (Olivia Wilde) rescues him. Taken to a distant hideout in the “Outlands,” Sam is reunited with his father, who reveals that Clu betrayed him and defeated Tron, seizing control of The Grid and forcing Kevin to remain in hiding. Clu also committed genocide against sentient “isomorphic algorithms” (ISOs), self-produced programs that carried the potential to unlock mysteries in science, religion, and medicine that Clu considered to be an imperfection. When the portal closed, Flynn became a captive inside his own creation until Sam re-opened it from the outside.

Resolving to make it back to the real world where he would be able to delete Clu, Sam makes his way back to The Grid to find a program named Zuse, whom he believes can provide safe passage to the portal. The End of Line Club owner – Castor (Michael Sheen) – is revealed to be Zuse and betrays Sam to Clu’s guards. Though Kevin and Quorra arrive just in time to help Sam escape, Quorra is wounded in the process and Zuse gains possession of Kevin’s identity disc. Knowing the disc works as a master key to The Grid, Zuse attempts to negotiate with Clu, but Clu simply takes it and destroys the club.

Stowing away on a transport ship, Kevin heals Quorra, who is revealed to be the last surviving ISO. The three unexpectedly arrive at a station aboard a massive warship. When Quorra allows Rinzler to capture her to serve as a distraction, Kevin recognizes Rinzler as a reprogrammed Tron. Clu addresses an army of troops, expressing his desire to enter the real world and reform it to his ideal of perfection.

Sam saves Quorra and reclaims Kevin’s disc. The trio then commandeer an aerial shuttle and are pursued by Clu, his guards and Rinzler using Light Jets. Between Quorra’s evasive flying and Sam manning the rear turret, they manage to shoot down Clu’s guards. During the conflict, Kevin and Rinzler make eye contact and Rinzler regains his true identity as Tron. Tron declares: “I fight for the users”, and he deliberately collides with Clu’s Light Jet, causing both of their vehicles to derezz. As they are falling Clu fights Tron, and steals his spare baton. Tron falls into the Sea of Simulation, where the orange illumination on his armor reverts back to his original blue. Clu uses Tron’s spare baton to create another light jet, allowing him to arrive at the portal first. When Sam, Kevin and Quorra reach the portal, a scuffle ensues. Kevin sacrifices himself, re-integrating with Clu to ensure Sam and Quorra escape. The two merge and explode just as Sam and Quorra use Kevin’s disc to transport through the portal to the real world.

Back in the basement of Flynn’s Arcade, Sam saves a backup of The Grid onto his flash drive. He then meets Alan and tells him that he will start working at ENCOM, and, as the controlling interest shareholder, he will name Alan chairman of the board. Sam leaves with Quorra on his motorcycle, showing her the sunrise she has longed to see.

Protagonists

Kevin Flynn

Played by Jeff Bridges

Kevin Flynn started off as a young computer game creator and programmer. His games were eventually stolen by another collegue named Ed Dillinger. Dillinger passed off the games as his own and Flynn lost his job when he tried to say that Dillenger stole his ideas. Unemployed, Flynn financed an arcade with all his games in and most nights people watch him play his video games until they are completed. Alan approached him about some dodgy dealings at the factory where Dillinger took over. Flynn obliged and the Master Computer transferred him from the real world and zapped him into a computer world called “The Grid”. Flynn proved more than a match of the world and the evil Sark by helping Tron destroy the MCP and Sark before being able to return to the real world a hero. Dillinger loses his job when the truth about his games comes to light and Flynn takes his rightful place as President of Encom.

Sam Flynn

Played by Garrett Hedlund

Sam Flynn is the son of Kevin Flynn. In 1989, Kevin Flynn goes missing and Sam is brought to live with his grandparents. Over the following years, Sam begins to act out in school and is advised to find something that will keep his interests so that he can graduate from Well Minster Academy. He picks up Amazon Capoerica and it calms him. As his teacher noted, his behavior worsens in the months of July and September. He has a dog named Marv and tells Allan Bradley to watch over his dog in case anything happens to him. Sam gave up taking over ENCOM and his father’s arcade. Sam is HIGHLY against ENCOM and does what he can to invade and start a riot. He is a member of FLYNN LIVES but refuses to go after his father after the countless and useless endeavors that he has done in the past since his father went missing. Sam drives his father’s Ducati motorcycle and is interested in extreme sports. Sam has acted up in the recent times since Space Paranoids came back in a new modern twist. Sam rallied against it by parachuting into the event with his parachute saying “89″. He refers often to ’89 as the “year that changed everything.” He did inherit his father’s computer genius and was going to attend CalTech.

Quorra

Played by Olivia Wilde

Quorra is the confidante and surrogate daughter of Kevin Flynn, and has been loyally helping him survive his digital exile. She is revealed to be an Isomorphic Algorithm (better known as ISO) which are a race of programs that are self-created; in other words, they were not created by users.

Kevin Flynn and Clu first encountered the ISO’s in 1983 while at the edge of the newly created Tron City. The ISO’s help to beautify and perfect Tron City but are later hunted and destroyed following a coup by Clu which forces Kevin Flynn to flee into exile. Quorra manages to escape Tron City during the purge of ISO’s and finds Kevin Flynn. She is later revealed to be the last functioning ISO.

Quorra’s personality is quite innocent and childlike as well as very compassionate and naive.

Quorra is an accomplished warrior, possessing significant skill with the sword and her Identity disk. She is also a skilled driver and pilot, capable of guiding vehicles through complex terrestrial and aerial stunts.

Quorra first meets Sam Flynn when she charges onto the Game Grid and spares him from death at the hands of Clu. Gradually forming a bond with Sam, Quorra goes against Kevin’s wishes and secretly aids Sam in finding her old friend Castor, only to rescue him once more when she is betrayed by Castor at the End of Line Club. Quorra’s systems shut down after an arm is partially de-rezzed in the ensuing brawl. Quorra is able to regenerate her arm and reboot her program after the damaged code is located and removed by Kevin Flynn.

Kevin Flynn has shared his knowledge of the real world with her, and as such, Quorra longs to experience what lies outside the realm of possibility. She ultimately has her wish granted when she accompanies Sam Flynn on his journey back home to our World, apparently becoming human in the process. Quorra happily sets off with Sam as he shows her the wonders of reality.

Alan Bradley

Played by Bruce Boxleitner

Alan Bradley is a computer programmer working for Encom and a friend of Kevin Flynn. He is also the creator of the Tron program that monitors communications between the Master Control Program and the real world. Bradley at first attempts to look on updates of the system through his Tron program, only to find out that the MCP has already locked it out. It was then that Flynn convinced Bradley to let him go to the laser laboratory to get to another security program to find evidence of Dillinger stealing Flynn’s original work. In the film, Tron addresses Bradley with the username ‘Alan-1′ when he establishes communication with him.

Tron

Played by Bruce Boxleitner

Tron is the title character of the Disney movie “Tron”. He is a computer program.

Heand his friends are forced to play brutal games in the Game Grid by their master, the Master Control Program, and his henchman, Commander Sark. They are aware of the xistance of “users” (ie. the people from our world). When the user Kevin Flynn enters the computer world, he inspires Tron to rebel against the Master Control Program and defeat him.

He appears in the videogame “Kingdom Hearts II”. There, the Master Control Program tries to use the Heartless to take over Hollow Bastion, so Tron teams up with Sora, Goofy and Donald to defeat him.

His name comes from the word elecTRONic, as the producer of the movie once stated. He had no idea about the ‘trace on’ command at the time he named the character.

Antagonists

Clu

Played by Jeff Bridges

Clu (an acronym for Codified Likeness Utility) had originally been a search program written by Kevin Flynn to hack the Encom mainframe for evidence that Ed Dillinger had stolen his video game designs. He was captured, tortured, and ultimately derezzed by the Master Control Program’s henchmen.

Flynn resurrected Clu to oversee his new Grid program while he was in the real world. However, since Flynn told Clu to create “the perfect system,” Clu saw this as carte blanche to overthrow Flynn, brainwash Tron into becoming his henchman, and reengage in the MCP’s old habits of forcing other programs to play the gladiatorial video games of old. Clu also ordered the genocide of the isomorphic programs that had spontaneously coalesced into existence. Clu’s new goal was to escape into the real world and conquer Earth itself, but was forcibly reintegrated into Flynn, destroying them both.

Rinzler

played by Anis Cheurfa

Rinzler is the corrupted version of Tron. He is CLU 2′s right hand man and enforcer. Considered a master warrior, he uses two identity discs when in combat and displays advanced acrobatic talent. Rinzler is named after Lucasfilm Executive Editor, J.W. Rinzler, author of several books including The Making of Star Wars, The Complete Making of Indiana Jones, and Making of The Empire Strikes Back. Director Joseph Kosinski chose the name during a working session with the writers when one of Rinzler’s books happened to be on the table.^[10]

Throughout the course of Tron: Legacy, it is revealed that Rinzler is a reprogrammed version of Tron. Tron was selected by Flynn to help him build the Grid, and defended Flynn when CLU betrayed them. Tron appeared to have been ‘derezzed’ as Flynn escaped, but actually was repurposed to serve CLU, being wiped of his memories as Tron in the process. He has several encounters with Sam Flynn through the course of the film, and during an aerial fight sequence, remembers his past identity and turns against CLU, saying that he fights for the users. He is left by CLU in the sea of simulation, and as he sinks to the bottom his armor reverts from its orange hue back to white, indicating that he has become Tron again. His ultimate fate is left unknown, but it is possible he was derezzed along with the rest of the Grid when Flynn integrated with CLU.

Edward Dillinger Jr.

Played by Cillian Murphy

Edward Dillinger Jr. is the son of Ed Dillinger, one of the main antagonists of the first film.

Castor

Played by Michael Sheen

Castor is the flamboyant owner of the End of Line night club located inside the Grid. He hides his true identity fearing reprisals having worked with the ISO’s before Clu purged them, and only a few know he is “Zuse”.

So this is Film Grenades third  Exclusive Character Guide, and was sparked by the seemingly constant interest in the Twilight series of books. So for all of those new to the series, or even you die hard fans can all get a good recap of all of the characters and trust me most of you might learn something.Check them out below, before the movie hits theaters on December 12th. The film adaptation is directed by Catherine Hardwicke, the production designer turned director responsible for Thirteen, Lords of Dogtown and The Nativity Story. The story follows Seventeen-year-old Isabella Swan (Kristen Stewart), who moves to the small town of Forks, Washington to live with her father, and finds herself drawn to a mysterious classmate named Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), who is revealed to be a one-hundred-year old vampire. He tries to push her away, but they soon fall in love. When the arrival of another coven of vampires puts Bella in danger, Edward and his family band together to save her before she is killed. Isabella “Bella” Marie is the daughter of Charlie Swan and Renee Dwyer. Charlie and Renee  were married at a very young age, and Bella was born soon after. After some time they divorced and Bella moved to Phoenix, Arizona with her mother.  Bella’s mother eventually married a baseball player named Phil, and this made Bella feel like she was holding her mother back from living a good life. So she decided to move back to Forks, Washington with her father. Once she gets to  Forks she meets and falls deeply in love with the a boy named Edward Cullen. She soon finds out that Edwards and his family are vampires but decides to stay with him where they continue to fall deeper for each other. Bella seems to constantly attract problems and disasters wherever she goes, but Edward is always there to save her life. She asks Edward to make her a Vampire on numerous occasions but he always denies her.

Edward Cullen

Played By Robert Pattinson

Edward Anthony Masen Cullen  is the human son of Elizabeth and Edward Masen born on June 20, 1901 and died in 1918.  Edward suffered from the Spanish Influenza when he was 17 years old. The only one who could save him was a mysterious young doctor named Carlisle Cullen. The only way to keep Edward alive was to transform him into a vampire. Both of Edward’s parents had eventually died from the Influenza pandemic. He was reborn and currently lives in Forks, Washington with his adoptive vampire family. His new parents Esme and Carlisle, and siblings Alice Cullen, Emmett Cullen, Rosalie Hale and Jasper Hale. One day Edward fell deeply in love with a human  girl named Bella Swan. In the beginning he was attracted to the unique smell of her blood.  The eventual consequence was Edwards inner beast coming out which nearly destroyed him and also everything that he and his family had worked so hard to keep. Edward’s fascination for Bella, soon turns into deep love. Bella always seemed to be getting into a danger and Edward ends up saving her from being hit by a car and then from four strange men. After these events Edward eventually finds himself unable to stay away  from her and begins showing her his vampire “powers” and introducing her to his family. Edward has the ability to hear people’s thoughts, but for some reason he can’t seem to hear Bella’s. He hates the fact that Bella wants to become a vampire, and always refuses to make her one when she asks.

Dr.Carlisle Cullen

Played By Peter Facinelli

Dr. Carlisle Cullen is a Vampire who is seen as a father figure to the Cullen family. He was born in the 1640′s and lead an attack on a group of Vampires. He crossed paths with one vampire and ended up getting bitten and turned into one himself. Carlisle hated being a vampire and tried to kill himself in many different ways and obviously failed every time. He became desperate and tried saving himself when he crossed paths with  wild animals which he attacked. Carlisle discovered that he could survive off of animal blood instead of humans. Carlisle works in Forks hospital and no longer has a flavor for human blood. One day in the Early 1900s, he came across a teenager suffering from influenza and decided to save him because of his begging mother. So he stole him and turned him in to a vampire which started his Cullen family. Carlisle now married to Esme, and has five adopted children Edward, Alice, Rosalie, Emmett and Jasper.

Esme Cullen

Played By Elizabeth Reaser

Esme Cullen is Carlisle’s wife and was once a human as well. Carlisle turned her after she attempted to commit suicide due to her sons death from a lung infection. She is the second person Carlisle turned and is a very loving person. She accepts Bella right away and is grateful for her being there for Edward. She is the adoptive mother to Edward, Alice, Jasper, Rosalie, and Emmett.

Rosalie Hale

Played By Nikki Reed

Rosalie Hale was born into a middle class family in 1915, she had two brothers and was the favorite of the three children. When she was 18 the Great Depression struck, but her father  had a stable job at a bank. Rosalie was very lustful and longed for many material possessions and a rich fulfilled life. The richest people in the town she lived in were the Kings. Royce King owned the bank Roslaie’s father worked for. She began dating Royce II and was soon engaged to him. But something was missing, she began to want more from the relationship, like her friend Vera, who had a middle class husband but loved very much along with a child. One night she was on her way home from Vera’s she saw several drunken men. One turned out be Royce and he began showing her off to his friends, he ripped pins from her hair and the men joined in and proceeded to beat and then raped her. She was left to die when Carlisle found her, and chose to save her by changing her. Soon after she killed Royce and his pals without spilling a drop of blood. Two years later she saw Emmett being  attacked by a bear and took him back to Carlisle. She begged him to save Emmett, who reminded her of Vera’s child. Soon after they were married. Rosalie and Emmett currently reside in Forks, Washington, but they often live away from the family as a married couple.

Emmett Cullen

Played By Kellan Lutz

Emmett McCarty was born in 1915 and died and reborn in 1935. He was turned by Carlisle after being discovered by his future wife Rosalie. He was attacked by a grizzly bear and  was dying. He was adopted into the Cullen family and is now married to Rosalie Hale. Emmet is said to be very tall standing at 6’5”, muscular, very intimidating, and has curly brown hair.

Jasper Hale

Played By Jackson Rathbone

Jasper Whitlock also known as Jasper Hale to non-family was born in 1844. He was involved in the Civil War on the Confederate side at the age of 17, but he lied and said he was 20. He was quickly promoted to a Major and served during the 1st Battle of Galveston. While evacuating women and children he saw three women who turned out to be vampires (Nettie, Maria and Lucy). They decided that he would be a perfect member for their vampire army.

He was bitten and trained to kill other newborn vampires and found out the southern vampire world was at war, and were arguing over human hunting grounds. Jasper realized he had the ability to manipulate peoples emotions. The newborn vampires he created with Maria would have to be killed before becoming a year old, due to the fact that they wouldn’t be able to be used as soldiers. Maria always made Jasper do the killing which made him depressed. After a few years he came across a newborn that was strong, his name was Peter. Peters job was to help Jasper dispose of the other children. Peter came across a newborn named Charlotte, whom he fell in love with. Jasper was attached and couldn’t kill Peter so he let them go. One day Peter and Charlotte came back and told Jasper of the life they had, so Jasper went with them to live as nomads. But after feeding he would become depressed once again and eventually left. One day he crosses paths with a woman vampire named Alice Brandon. She told him of their future with the Cullens and he once again had hope. Now Jasper is married with Alice and lives with the Cullens in Forks. He still has trouble with the vegetarian diet his family has mostly because he fed whenever he wanted during the wars. He also has bite scars shaped like moons all over his body because of all the newborns biting him.

Alice Cullen

Played By Ashley Greene

Alice Cullen was born Mary Alice Brandon and is the adoptive sister of Edward Cullen. She is a petite girl standing at 4’10, but has a very bubbly, witty personality and has short black hair. When Alice was changed she awoke not remembering anything about her human past. Later it is revealed that she was born around 1901 in Biloxi, Mississippi and was kept in an insane asylum because she had spontaneous premonitions. Alice was changed by an old vampire who worked in the asylum in order to protect her from a dangerous tracker vampire named James. After being changed her power of foresight became even stronger. She began having visions of a vampire named Jasper who was seeking a more meaningful existence. She finally meets Jasper at a diner, and she asked him to come with her. He was confused but realized she could be his chance for a better future. They began traveling and fell in love, in the 1950′s they found Carlisle due to her visions, and are now apart of the Cullen family.

Renee is Bella’s mother and was formerly married to Charlie Swan. She married Charlie and had Bella right after high school, but the relationship ended up not working out and they were divorced. She ended up moving to Phoenix, Arizona with Bella for 17 years. She is described as a straightforward person who could be seen as childlike at times. She is also very easily brought off of topic in conversation. Renee is now married with a minor leaue baseball player named Phil, and they currently live in Jacksonville.

Phil

Played By Matt Bushell

Phil is a minor league baseball player who is currently married to Bella’s mother Renee.  He plays for a team in Florida and so him and Renee moved over there. Bella doesn’t mind Phil because he bring her mom so much happiness.

WEREWOLVES

Jacob Black

Played By Taylor Lautner

Jacob Black is 15 years old in Twilight.  Him and his father Billy Black, live in a small house in La Push, which is an Indian reservation home to the Quileute tribe. Jacob sees Bella again at a  party at First Beach, she asks him about the ancient Quileute legends in a flirtatious manner keeping her suspicious reasons to herself. Jacob tells Bella what Edward is through the story of the “cold ones”, but Jacob doesn’t believe the stories. He has long parted hair in the film.

Billy Black

Played By Gil Birmingham

Billy Black is Jacobs father and good friend with Charlie Swan. He is chief of the Quileute tribe . He has two daughters as well. Billy hates the Cullens which leads back to their legend of the cold ones.  He is a caring and loving man. He lives on the La Push reservation in Washington. Billy is in a wheel chair and has a wrinkled face with wise and knowing eyes.

Ephraim Black

Ephraim Black, great-grandfather to Jacob Black, was the last chief of the Quileute tribe. He was a shape-shifter himself, and the Alpha of a pack of three which included Levi Uley and Quil Ateara Sr., the great-grandfathers of Sam Uley and Quil Ateara, respectively. He created a treaty with the Cullen family which maintained that the wolves would not expose the Cullens as vampires as long as they did not bite any humans.

Sam Uley

Played By Solomon Trimble

Sam Uley is the lead member of the Quileute tribe. He only has a slight cameo in the first film but has a large role in the sequels.

Quil Ateara

Played by Tyson Houseman

Quil Ateara has chocolate-brown fur and is Jacob’s best friend and second cousin. He is 16, and is described as muscular and loud. Upon meeting her, he takes an instant liking to Bella, who notes that he has a mischievous grin, and flirts with her. He first appears in New Moon but does not become a wolf until Eclipse. In New Moon Bella notes his depression over being abandoned by Embry and Jacob, who joined the pack and were not allowed to tell him what was going on. Unlike most of the other pack members, he was happy about becoming a wolf because it allowed him to join his friends. Near the end of Breaking Dawn Quil, along with Embry, joins Jacob’s pack.

In Eclipse, Quil imprints on Emily’s two-year-old niece, Claire. Although this appears to cause a scandal, Jacob explains that there is currently nothing romantic about his feelings, and that Quil will be whatever Claire needs him to be at each point in her life, whether it be a brother, friend, protector, or lover.

Embry Call

Played by Kiowa Gordon

Embry Call is a wolf with gray fur and dark spots on his back, and is another one of Jacob’s best friends. He is described as tall, thin, and shy, and is 16 when he first appears in New Moon. He calls Bella “vampire girl” because of her relationship with the Cullens. His mother is of the Makah tribe, not the Quileute, and she moved to the Quileute reservation while she was pregnant with him; until he joined the pack, it was assumed that she had left his father behind. But because the shape-shifting wolf traits are inherited from father to son, he is therefore the half-brother of Quil Ateara, Jacob Black, or Sam Uley. This causes some stress within the pack, since all three of those boys’ fathers were married before and at the time of Embry’s birth. Near the end of Breaking Dawn Embry, along with Quil, joins Jacob’s pack.

Paul

Played By Alex Meraz

Paul is a dark gray wolf who is prone to angry outbursts that cause him to burst into his wolf form. At 16, he was the third wolf to phase. He is the most volatile pack member, and becomes so enraged when he learns that Jacob has told Bella about the pack that he bursts into his wolf form and tries to attack her. He later seems to have no ill feelings toward Bella or Jacob, though Jacob, Leah, and some of the other wolves find him annoying. In Breaking Dawn, it is revealed that Paul has imprinted on Jacob’s older sister, Rachel. This irritates Billy and Jacob because he is always at their house eating their food, but Billy is happy that Rachel visits home more often because of Paul.

Jared

Played by Bronson Pelletier

Jared was the first wolf to phase after Sam. In Eclipse he imprinted on Kim, a girl he sat next to in school who had always had a crush on him. Before he was a wolf he never paid attention to her, but after his transformation he looked at her once and imprinted.

Leah Clearwater

Played by Julia Jones

Leah Clearwater is the only known female shape-shifting wolf in the history of the Quileute tribe. She is the smallest wolf, has light gray fur, and is the fastest in the pack. At the age of 19, she transforms into a wolf during the events of New Moon, around the same time as her younger brother, Seth. This transformation is believed to be what caused the heart attack and subsequent death of their father, Harry. She dated Sam Uley for years until her second cousin Emily came to visit and Sam imprinted on her. Sam thus left her for Emily, leaving Leah broken-hearted. She puts up a brave face, though, and in Eclipse it is suggested that she intends to serve as bridesmaid at Sam and Emily’s wedding. Despite this, she is disliked by her pack brothers for her very bitter and cynical attitude. She constantly antagonizes the pack by thinking about things that make the others uncomfortable, such as Embry’s paternity.

In Breaking Dawn, Leah joins Jacob’s pack with the intention of breaking free of Sam, since she is still heartbroken. She helps to protect Bella and the Cullens, despite her extreme hatred for vampires and her open dislike for Bella. She shares her insecurities with Jacob, such as the reasons for Sam’s imprinting on Emily, her regrets that she might be menopausal due to her transformation, and her inability to rise higher in pack rank due to her gender. As she spends more time in Jacob’s pack, she becomes happier, makes notable changes in her attitude, and is less negative. Later in the book, Jacob and Leah’s feelings toward each other become a trusted comradeship, though they conceal their fondness for each other by constantly bickering.^[28] She displays quite a bit of loyalty to him, and even angrily confronts Bella about her unfair treatment of Jacob and the pain she has caused him. By the end of the novel, Leah has replaced Seth as Jacob’s second-in-command.

Seth Clearwater

Played by BooBoo Stewart

Seth Clearwater is Leah’s younger brother. He transforms into a wolf during the events of New Moon, around the same time as his sister, Leah. He has sandy-colored fur, and at 15 he is among the youngest of the pack. In New Moon and Eclipse he is shown to idolize Jacob Black and is said to remind Bella of a younger Jacob. Like Quil, he is excited by his ability to transform into a wolf and not unhappy with it, as his other pack brothers are. During the newborn attack in Eclipse, Seth stays with Bella and Edward due to his youth and acts as a connection to the pack because of the wolves’ telepathic ability. When Victoria and Riley appear, Seth fights and destroys Riley with Edward’s help. In Breaking Dawn he is shown to have developed an unlikely friendship with Edward, and attends his and Bella’s wedding. Seth remains a constant presence throughout the final book in the series. He is initially the only wolf to feel completely comfortable being around the Cullen family, and becomes friendly with them by the end of the series. He also has, according to Edward, very honest and pure thoughts, something that endears him to the Cullens, and Edward in particular. When Jacob splits from the pack, Seth quickly joins him because he opposes Sam’s plan to attack the Cullens, whom he has become fond of. For most of Breaking Dawn, Seth is Jacob’s second-in-command, until he is replaced by Leah at the end of the novel.

Collin and Brady

Collin and Brady are two of the youngest wolves in the pack. In Eclipse, they are said to have phased at the age of thirteen, and they later make an appearance in Breaking Dawn as part of Sam’s pack.

Jessica Stanley

Played By Anna Kendrick

Jessica Stanley is a short preppy girl, with dark hair and blue eyes. She is the first friend Bella makes when she moves to Forks. But their friendship eventually is destroyed by a boy named Mike Newton, who likes Bella. Jessica likes Mike and she ends up getting jealous and it eventually ruins their friendship.

Angela Weber

Played By Chirstian Serratos

Angela Weber is another one of Bella’s new friends in high school. She really is Bella’s only true friend. She is  shy but is a nice and honest girl.

Mike Newton

Played By Michael Welch

Mike is one of the boys who attends Forks High School and is one of the first people to greet Bella. He has a round face with spiked blonde hair. He is immediately infatuated with her and walks her to all her classes on her first day. He is a nice guy, but is not happy at all when he sees how much time Bella spends with Edward. But he soon figures out that he can’t compete with Edward and becomes very jealous of him.

Mr. Molina

Played By Jose Zuniga

Mr. Molina or Mr. Banner as he was known in the books is Bella and Edwards biology teacher.

Eric Yorkie

Played By Justin Chon

Eric Yorkie is another one of the students in Bella’s high school who wants to date her. He is confident and persistent and actually thinks he will win Bella over one day and kick Edward to the curb.

Tyler

Played by Gregory Tyree Boyce

Remember that scene from the trailer where the car is about to run into Bella and Edward saves her? Well Tyler was the one driving that car. He loses control of  his van and almost kills Bella. He feels terrible and continues to apologize to her. After a line of people ask Bella to a dance, Tyler decides give it a shot. Bella explains that she already has plans and he gets the impression that he is going to take her to prom instead. Turns out when he went to pick her up she had already gone with Edward, sucks to be this guy eh?

Antagonists

James

Played By Cam Gigandet

James is the major antagonist in Twilight. His special ability is tracking and is a master at what he does. He almost always gets what he wants except for the time he lost Alice Cullen. Unlike the Cullen’s James loves to drink the blood of humans and occasionally that of animals for fun. He has a plain unattractive appearance, but is a very skilled tracker. James comes to Forks with his companions, Victoria and Laurent. They met the Cullen’s in a clearing where the family was playing baseball while Bella was watching. James saw her as prey, and attacked her, but was stopped by Edward. James soon became obsessed with tracking Bella, and Edward was constantly their to save her.

Spoilers: Later in the story James lures Bella to an empty ballet studio and tried to kill her, but was stopped by the Cullen’s and was dismembered and set on fire which permanently destroyed him by Emmett and Jasper. There is now a shimmery scar on Bella’s hand left by his venomous bite as a symbol of his failed attempt on her life.

Laurent

Played By Edi Gathegi

Laurent has dark hair and olive skin and was a member of James’ coven. When James and Victoria chose to track and kill Bella, he left them and traveled to Denali, Alaska to meet with another group that lived like the Cullen’s. He occasionally “cheated” on the only animal blood diet by occasionally feeding on humans.

Victoria

Played By Rachelle Lefevre

Victoria  has red hair and cat like trait and is a member of James’ coven. She is his lover and assists him in trying to murder Bella.She becomes a much bigger threat as the series goes on.

The Volturi

Played by Michael Sheen as Aro; Jamie Campbell Bower as Caius; Christopher Heyerdahl as Marcus; Dakota Fanning as Jane; Cameron Bright as Alec; Charlie Bewley as Demetri; Daniel Cudmore as Felix; and Noot Seear as Heidi.

The vampire coven known as the Volturi live in Volterra, Tuscany (Italy). They are regarded as “royalty” by other vampires because they have lived for well over 3000 years and act as police, enforcing the rule that vampires’ existence remain a secret from humans. They often send emissaries or enforcers from Volterra to prevent overzealous covens and renegade vampires from exposing their kind. They are guarded by several powerful vampires who have been recruited for their powers and skills. Carlisle once stayed with the coven as a guest, but left due to his desire to avoid harming humans and established his own coven in the United States. At the end of New Moon, the Volturi discover that Bella, a human, has learned that vampires exist and demand that she become a vampire or else be killed. In Eclipse, they arrive in Forks under the pretense of eliminating Victoria and her newborn army for violating Volturi law; their true intentions, however, were to allow Victoria’s army to destroy the Cullen clan, whom Aro envies for its large size and for its members’ supernatural talents. In Breaking Dawn, the vampire Irina goes to the Volturi and informs them that the Cullens have created an immortal child after seeing Edward and Bella’s daughter, Renesmee, hunting close to the Cullens’ house. The Volturi coven travel to Forks to destroy Renesmee and the Cullens, but leave when they are outfaced by the group gathered there. It is noted at the end of the novel that the Volturi may again one day attempt to destroy the Cullen family.^[12]

The Volturi leaders include Aro, who can read every thought a person has ever had once he has made physical contact, Marcus, who senses the strength and nature of relationships, and Caius, who has no known power. Aro’s wife Sulpicia, Caius’ wife Athenodora, and formerly Marcus’ wife Didyme, who had the power to make others happy, also act as leaders.^[13] The Volturi guard consists of 32 members, including Jane, who creates illusions of pain; her twin brother Alec, who is able to block others’ senses; Demetri, who can track anyone once he has the tenor of their mind; Felix, who possesses exceptional physical strength and speed; Chelsea, who can change emotional bondings and causes members of the Volturi to be loyal to the coven; and Renata, who can make anyone feel distracted and wandering when they are near her (classified as a “shield”). The majority of the Volturi guard remain nameless throughout the series. There is also a human secretary named Gianna, who appears in New Moon and is killed by the Volturi by the events of Breaking Dawn, despite her hope that they would turn her into a vampire.^[14] Aro, coveting their talents, invites Carlisle, Edward, Alice, Kate, Benjamin, Zafrina, and Bella to join the Volturi, but all of them refuse.

So far Captain America looks pretty great. Well at least to me it is. I have to admit I was a little Shaky on the idea of Chris Evans AKA the Human Torch  Picking up the Star Spangled Shield and dishing out some all American Pain. Awesome Leaked photos of Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy from the new Spider-Man reboot. For many of you who do not know  Gwen stacy was originally a love interest for Peter Parker back in the late sixties. Possible spoiler but in the comics she was dropped off of a bridge and killed by the Green Goblin. (very similarly to how Mary Jane was dropped toward the end of Spider-Man 1). These sots don’t give us much that we didn’t already know. Peter and Gwen share a kiss and sit on some bleachers. Hopefully we can see some shots of the new spider-man costume.
