									<h2><b>FinCon is turning 15!</b></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">FinCon started back in 2011 when 200 personal finance bloggers gathered outside Chicago to meet in person for the first time—to collaborate, swap ideas, and figure out how to talk about money on the internet. <strong>And just like that, a community was brought together.</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Since then, the platforms have changed, and so has the way you create. YouTube was still finding its footing. Instagram had just launched the year before. Podcasting was still considered niche. TikTok? Didn’t exist. Most creators were writing blog posts, experimenting with email, and trying to convince their families that “online content” was a real thing.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Now, many of you are running multi-platform businesses.</strong> You’ve built audiences on YouTube and TikTok, grown podcasts with millions of downloads, launched membership sites, coaching programs, mobile apps, and full-blown product lines. And through it all, FinCon has grown right alongside you.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We’ve expanded our content to cover more advanced strategies, added support for video creators and podcasters, and continued to evolve the event to meet you where you are.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">And along the way, many of you made FinCon an annual tradition. You’ve built friendships here, openly shared strategies with zero gatekeeping, and cheered each other on. You’ve built a community of money nerds who value collaboration over competition and genuinely root for each other to succeed. </span></p>
<p><strong>That’s why we’re making this year a celebration of <i>YOU, </i>the creators and brands who’ve helped shape this space.</strong></p>

									<h2><b>Women in Money, Built In</b></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Women in Money has grown into a vibrant part of the FinCon community over the last couple of years, and <strong>this year, it’s woven into FinCon 2025.</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In 2023, we kicked things off with events in Atlanta and Los Angeles. In 2024, we gathered at NASDAQ in Times Square. Each one had its own vibe, but the heart has always been the same: connecting and celebrating the women shaping how we talk about money.</span></p>
<p><strong>So for Year 3, and in honor of FinCon’s 15th, we’re integrating Women in Money throughout the event in a bigger way.</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">If you&#8217;re attending <a href="https://finconexpo.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">FinCon 2025</a>, you’re in! No extra sign-up or additional cost. Every Women in Money event is open to women with a FinCon 2025 pass. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It starts Tuesday night, September 9, with the </span><b>Women in Money Food Cart-y Party</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">, an off-site gathering for women with a FinCon pass. We’ll gather at one of Portland’s iconic food cart pods for an evening of conversation, connection, and some of the city’s best bites.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We’re also introducing </span><b>Women in Money Collab Labs</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">. These are interactive sessions where you’ll get to know other creators by working on creative challenges together. They’re part networking, part problem-solving, and all about meaningful collaboration.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You’ll brainstorm, generate content ideas together, and stretch your creativity with other women who get what you do. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We’ll also host a </span><b>Women in Money Creator Conversation</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">, offering a dedicated time for conversation around topics that matter to women in the money space.</span></p>								</div>

									<h2><b>1:1 Meetings Now Open to Everyone</b></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">One-on-one meetings between creators and brands have always been a core part of the FinCon experience. They’re where partnerships can begin, often the kind that continue long after the event is over.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In the past, these meetings (formerly called Pro Networking) were reserved for higher-tier passholders. But this year, <strong>we’re opening them up to everyone. Whether you have a Creator Pass or an All Access Creator Pass, you can opt in.</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Why the change? <strong>Because brands are looking to work with creators across the board, not just the biggest names.</strong> They’re also interested in micro-influencers, niche voices, and anyone doing consistent, quality work with a trusted audience. There’s room at the table for all kinds of creators.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Here’s how it works:</strong> You’ll get access to the FinCon app, including a list of participating brands, a few weeks before the event. Within the app, you can request meetings with brand reps, and they can request meetings with you. Both sides can accept or decline, and once confirmed, you’ll head to Portland with meetings already on your calendar.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It’s 15 minutes, face-to-face, with brand reps who </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">want</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> to work with you. Or what we call, </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">Pro Networking</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You&#8217;ll discover actionable strategies to prepare for Pro Networking, plus tips for effective follow-up once it’s all over.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">But before diving into how to optimize your meetings, a quick reminder – The app is live and it is where you schedule 1:1 meetings with creators. </span></p><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Meetings can be requested by brands or creators and many of you will find that creators have already begun reaching out to you to schedule meetings. So to begin with, each member of your team should download it. (Last week, we sent this email with download instructions.) </span></p><h2><b>Making the Most of Pro Networking</b></h2><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">So how do you leverage Pro Networking so that you can get the most ROI from your time at FinCon? Just showing up at FinCon and winging it could work for some people, but your company has invested cash dollars in your attendance and a significant part of that is scheduling meetings with creators. </span></p><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Taking some time before you arrive to get a game plan will yield much better ROI. Here are some strategic steps that you should take action on now:</span></p><h2><b>Download the app and fill out your profile. </b></h2><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Answer all the questions so that when creators look at your profile, they know exactly who you are and what your company is looking for.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Remember: Creators can request meetings from brands, and brands can request meetings from creators. So filling out your profile helps them find you the same way their profiles help you find them!</span></p><h2><b>Set up 1:1 meetings with creators in the app. </b></h2><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In the app, you have 2 ways to connect with creators – </span></p><p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">Plus Pass holders are listed under the orange Pro Networking button.</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Those are creators who paid a premium to come to FinCon and do business with brands. It also includes all of the speakers. You can go to their profiles and choose a 15-minute time slot to request a meeting. There will be an option to host the meeting in your booth, at one of several meeting tables, or virtually. Meetings take place anytime throughout the 4-day event.</span></p><p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">[Pro Tip]</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> There are 18 meeting tables available in Hanover every 15 minutes. If there are no meeting tables available during the time slot you’re requesting, then select a different time slot. As meetings get booked, tables that are claimed will not show up in the list of meeting spaces.</span></p><p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Attendee List button includes all attendees.</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> While you won’t find a time slot on their profile to book a meeting, you can DM them to request one. You’ll just have to tell them where to meet you. It won’t be automated like it is for the Plus Pass holders. </span></p><p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">[Pro Tip]</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> The app allows you to filter the Plus Pass list by niches and platforms. So, for example, if you are looking for YouTubers whose content focuses on investing, you can filter down to find them.</span></p><h2><b>Introduce yourself in the app.</b></h2><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Drop a comment in the Feed and tell people who you are, what you do, and the type of partnerships you are looking for at FinCon. Creators are looking for brand reps, just as brand reps are looking for creators. Make it easy to find you –  say hi!</span></p><h2><b>Attend the Speaker/Plus Mixer for More Networking</b></h2><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Plus Pass grants you entry to the exclusive Speaker/Plus Mixer networking event on Wednesday evening. To make the most of it, consider any creators that you haven’t scheduled meetings with but would like to meet in person. Taking some time before you arrive to get a game plan will yield much better ROI.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Here’s what you need to keep in mind:<br></strong></p>

<p>Whether it&#8217;s your first time or you&#8217;re a returning attendee, there are some basic things that you need to do first:</p>

<li>Download the app and fill out your profile. Answer all the questions so that when others look at your profile, they know exactly who you are and what you do.</li>



<li>As FinCon approaches, take a moment to set your intentions. Ask yourself: “What do I want to achieve at FinCon?”</li>



<li>Go through the schedule and save all the sessions that you want to attend to your “My Schedule” so you know what times you are available for meetings.</li>



<li>Are there specific creators you’d like to connect with? Maybe you want to meet them in person or you want to talk to them about collaborating on a project or interview them for your podcast or YouTube channel. Check out the Attendee List in the app and start connecting with people.&nbsp;</li>



<li>Drop a comment in the Feed and tell people who you are, what you do, and what your intentions are for the event.</li>

<p>Do your homework before arriving in Atlanta. Learn about the brands and their goals so you can focus on the ones that align with yours. This prep work will help you target the right brands for your Pro Networking meetings and your time in FinCon Central.</p>



<p>Here’s how you can get to know brands using the FC24 app:</p>

<p><strong>Use Filters:</strong> Under the ‘Pro Networking [Brands]’ tab, filter by the brands&#8217; FC24 goals to find the ones that align with your own.<br></p>



<p><strong>Check Brand Profiles:</strong> Under the ‘Sponsors’ tab, many brands include company blurbs, links to their socials, and details about what they’re offering at FinCon.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">4. <strong> Schedule Meetings</strong></h3>



<p>The FinCon App is where you schedule your meetings with brands. You can view their individual brand rep profiles and request an appointment. Conversely, they can also go to your profile and request a meeting with you. Here’s how the process works:</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Go to the “Pro Networking [Brands]” button in the app.&nbsp;</li>



<li>Click on a brand rep’s profile and then “Book a Meeting.”</li>



<li>There are 15-minute time slots that take place throughout the 3.5 days of the event. Select a time to meet with them.</li>



<li>Leave them a note expressing why you want to meet with them.</li>



<li>Wait for them to accept or decline your meeting request.</li>



<li>After 3 days the request expires. Keep in mind an expiration doesn’t necessarily mean a “no.” Sometimes they just haven’t gotten in the app yet. So if your request expires, try again later.</li>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>5. Attend the Speaker/Plus Mixer for More Networking</strong></h3>

<p>One of the questions we get from brands the most is about making the most of their time at FinCon. There are so many beneficial ways to capitalize on your time. It can be a little overwhelming, especially if it&#8217;s your first time representing your company at FinCon.</p>



<p>So we put together this guide of ideas that might be helpful to think through before your plane touches down.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">1. Book Meetings Before You Leave</h3>



<p>Most sponsorships come with a Pro Networking table. This 3-hour speed networking event on Wednesday morning is a sponsor favorite, as it allows you to come to the event with a full slate of one-on-one appointments already booked. Inside the FinCon app there is a Pro Networking tab that allows you to set your profile up, so brands can start connecting with Pro Pass holders and setting up those appointments.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">2. Attend the Speaker/Pro Mixer</h3>



<p>The Pro Networking sponsorship also comes with invitations for your team to attend the Speaker/Pro Mixer on Thursday evening. All speakers, sponsors, and Pro Pass holders are invited to attend so if there’s anyone you wanted to connect with during the Pro Networking event but did not get to, then the Mixer on Wednesday evening is a great opportunity to do so.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">3. Showcase Your Offer</h3>



<p>How can you tell all of the FinCon attendees about your brand’s latest initiative or some new product you’re launching? Showcase your offer in a booth at FinCon Central. We’ll have over 100 booths and we&#8217;re nearly sold out. Booths come in 5&#215;5, 10&#215;10, 20&#215;20 and more and all come with a FinCon pass.</p>



<p>But even if you decide to not get a booth, there are options like a virtual welcome bag insert where you can place an offer from your brand.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">4. FinCon Central</h3>



<p>Not convinced you need a presence at FinCon Central? For starters, here’s a&nbsp;<a href="https://finconexpo.com/sponsors/">list of current sponsors</a>. But also, FinCon Central isn’t just a boring expo hall set off down a hall somewhere.</p>



<p>For most of the day on Wednesday and 1/2 day on Thursday and Friday, FinCon Central is the hub of all we do. We have content areas within the space, live podcasting going on, live videos being produced, a lounge area with platform and niche meetups—not to mention all the booths. It’s a hopping, high-energy space, where business deals are taking place. It’s a great way to get your message out to attendees.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">5. Make a Plan for Collecting Emails</h3>



<p>It’s important to come to FinCon with a plan, especially if you have a booth and/or a Pro Networking table. But the biggest question might very well be: How are you going to collect email addresses? Unfortunately, we can’t give you contact info on attendees, so it’s up to you to determine how you’re going to keep up with all the people you met and want to connect with when you return home.</p>



<p>If attendees stop by your booth, do you have an email capture plan? Are you doing a giveaway? Are you asking for email in return for swag? If you don’t have a booth, you still need a plan. It can get overwhelming quickly! Make the most of your time and have this nailed down before you leave home.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">6. Find YOUR Creators and Influencers</h3>



<p>What about the attendees that you’re working with already? FinCon is a great time to reconnect with them and continue to solidify existing partnerships. Reach out to your current creators and influencers via the FinCon app (Pro Networking tables only) , you can download it and log in after you have registered for your pass).</p>



<p>Also, find new potential creator partnerships by filtering the app based on niches. We’ve encouraged attendees to add tags to their profile that will help identify their particular niches. Look for the tags that fit into areas that you work with and reach out to them via the app.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">7. Treat Your VIPs</h3>



<p>If you want to host a dinner, happy hour, or event in conjunction with FinCon for any of your VIP clients or potential partners, you can get a dinner/event sponsorship. We offer a limited number of these in order to protect the integrity of the event and the schedule but once you’ve secured the sponsorship, it’s your event and you’re free to host it wherever you want and invite as many (or as few!) as your budget allows.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">8. Create Content on Site</h3>



<p>We love it when attendees and brands create content on-site at FinCon. You’re welcome to use your booth to record podcasts or conduct video interviews. You’re also welcome to have a mobile set up roaming around the event and recording in the hallways. Just keep in mind if it’s a mobile setup, it truly needs to be “mobile.” No lighting kits or anything that requires power or a stationary setup. Gotta keep the hallways clear!</p>

<p>Cheddar conducted interviews in the Ally booth last year like <a href="https://cheddar.com/videos/love-marriage-and-a-joint-bank-account" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">this one with Talaat and Tai McNeely from His and Her Money</a>.</p>



<p>Experian did man-on-the-street style interviews with community members and <a href="https://www.facebook.com/experian/videos/10156014493357009/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">posted it on their Facebook page</a>.</p>

<p>People often ask us what tools are available to get your message out to attendees. While sponsorships are certainly an option, feel free to also use the official #FinCon23 hashtag on Twitter and Instagram. The closer we get to the event, the more and more it will be used.</p>

<p>We love our t-shirts and jeans in the FinCon Community, so don’t feel like you need to dress in business attire. We’re a relaxed crew. You’re more than welcome to wear the coat and tie or heels, but don’t feel like you need to. Save that for when you return to the office the next week!</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">11. Don&#8217;t Dismiss Saturday!</h3>



<p>A lot of brands check out after FinCon Central ends on Friday because they want to get home or because they think FinCon is winding down, but that could not be farther from the truth. There&#8217;s still a lot to do on Friday and Saturday is a great day for networking.</p>



<p>The biggest Pro Tip we can offer is that since a lot of brands do leave on Friday, there are a lot of creators available for good conversations for those who stick around. So extend the hotel reservation and book the flight home for Sunday and see if Saturday doesn’t pay off in enough partnerships and networking conversations to cover that extra night.</p>

At FinCon in 2022, over 40% of attendees reported they were creating some form of video content, including YouTube channels or short and long-form video content for social media. This year is no exception with a growing number of TikTok creators too. </p>



<p>As video continues to grow within the Personal Finance community, we want to ensure the content and opportunities at FinCon meet the needs of video-based creators. FinCon provides a video-specific track  to adequately cover the ins and outs of video creation and marketing. In addition to educational content, we&#8217;ve also scheduled opportunities specifically for you to create content on site and collaborate together. </p>

<p>In addition to that general intention, though, make it a point to focus your goals before FinCon. Set a number of contacts you&#8217;d like to make, sponsors you&#8217;d like to reach out to, and more. By setting focused goals, you&#8217;re sure to get something out of FinCon.</p>

These brands come to our event specifically to talk to you. Make a point to meet each brand in FinCon Central (the expo hall). You never know who might be a good fit for you to promote to your audience.</p>

<p>Simply meeting the people who are on the brand&#8217;s team is important. This provides a chance to make personal connections with sponsors or partners. There are some great YouTube-focused groups on Facebook, but none are as niche as the <a href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/128953314475037/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">FinCon YouTubers Group</a>. This Facebook group is a great way to connect—both before and after the event—with other FinConners dedicated to video production.</p>



<p>This group started after #FinCon17 and has turned into a tight-knit community of personal finance video content creators collaborating to grow together. They cover everything from the lenses you should buy to the latest YouTube algorithm details. Even if you haven&#8217;t set up your channel yet, this is the perfect place to ask questions and figure out how to get started.</p>

<p>We&#8217;ve got some fantastic YouTubers coming to FinCon. In 2021 we had Jaspreet Singh from Minority Mindset as our keynote speaker. He and his team hit over 1M subscribers that year. In the past, we&#8217;ve had YouTube stars like Graham Stephen, Whiteboard Finance, Meet Kevin, Roberto Blake, Jordan Page, Jusine Nelson, Tim Schmoyer, and more. <p>Another tip is to remember that it is much easier to make connections with other YouTubers in person. While you might not be able to set up an interview via email, most people at FinCon are more than happy to give a few minutes of their time during the event. Don&#8217;t be afraid to speak up and connect.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">7. Use the FinCon App to Coordinate With Other YouTubers About Meetups</h2>



<p>Inside the FinCon app, you&#8217;ll find the complete schedule where you can star specific sessions and events you&#8217;d like to attend. But more importantly, you can connect with other attendees. If there&#8217;s another YouTuber at the event that you would like to collaborate with or even just meet in real life, the app is the easiest way to find his or her information. You can add a tag to your profile that lets other YouTubers know you&#8217;re interested in video. This app tag lets you easily connect with other video creators at the conference.</p>



<p>The FinCon app is available now. Just open the app store, and search for &#8220;FinCon.&#8221; (You can&#8217;t access it, though, unless you&#8217;re a registered attendee.)</p>



<p>The value of FinCon truly is in the community. Make a point to build at least two friendships with other YouTubers while you&#8217;re here, and you&#8217;ll be sure to find value beyond the conference.</p>

<p>Perhaps you are looking for an editor for your YouTube channel or maybe you want to offer your video skills as a freelancer. FinCon is the perfect place to do both of these things. In fact, there&#8217;s the Freelancer Marketplace, which is a dedicated time for freelancers to connect with brands and businesses.</p>



<p>In addition to the Freelancer Marketplace, you&#8217;re able to connect with freelancers or as a freelancer any time you interact with someone. Make sure that you have a business card or keep your phone with you to store contact information. If you cross paths with someone who you&#8217;d like to talk with, make an appointment to catch up with them later in the conference. Don&#8217;t be afraid to ask for help or offer your services to help other YouTubers.</p>

<p>Are you a podcaster? Or thinking about starting a podcast? Perhaps you&#8217;re not a newbie; maybe you&#8217;re a veteran podcaster or somewhere in between. Podcasting is an essential part of FinCon with over 30% of FinCon attendees identifying as podcasters. Helping you get the most out of your FinCon experience is important to us.</p>



<p>We created this Podcaster’s Guide to help you navigate the event for podcasting-specific opportunities and learning experiences. Here&#8217;s everything podcasters need to know, including creating content during the event, snagging sponsors, and more. This list should help podcasters squeeze the most out of FinCon.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">1. Get Sponsors for Your Show</h2>



<p>You can meet potential advertising partners in FinCon Central as you strike up conversations with key brands that could turn into future revenue for your show.</p>



<p><strong>A pro tip is to pack more than just a business card for these introductions. If you want to snag a sponsor, consider bringing a media kit.</strong></p>



<p>A media kit for podcasters might include:</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">2. Consider upgrading to a FinCon Pro Pass</h2>



<p>A <a href="https://finconexpo.com/">Pro Pass</a> gives you access to <a href="https://finconexpo.com/pro-networking/">Pro Networking</a> to connect with brands for advertising deals. It&#8217;s kind of like speed dating&#8230;but there&#8217;s no dating involved. With a Pro Pass, you&#8217;re able to schedule 10-minute one-on-one meetings with brands so you have the potential to come to FinCon with your appointments already booked.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">3. Go with the Heart of a Podcaster</h2>



<p>FinCon isn&#8217;t your typical conference, so don&#8217;t approach it that way. Approach FinCon as a chance to tell your own story and find other people&#8217;s stories.&nbsp; Instead of sharing generic podcast traits, explain your podcast (and yourself!) in a way that really lets your story shine.</p>



<p>Take that same storytelling mindset and apply it to others. There are thousands of people at FinCon, and each person has a positive money message. As you interact with people, get to know their stories and find ways to bring that storytelling to your audience.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">4. Create Content On-Site</h2>



<p>One thing you might be reluctant to do is to actually create content at the event. Don’t be! In fact, you might be surprised how many people ask you for a sound bite or a quote for their own podcasts. In addition to contributing to other people’s work, you can create your own content, too.</p>



<p>During the event, you&#8217;ll see podcasters setting up and recording interviews in many of the event&#8217;s common areas, such as FinCon Central, hotel lobbies, and hallways outside the breakout sessions.</p>



<p>In addition to recording, you can create your marketing collateral at FinCon. Throughout the event, snap pictures of your brand at work and share them on social media. You can also tag other influencers who are in the photos, and there&#8217;s a possibility they will share them with their audiences as well.</p>



<p>Even if you aren’t creating content at FinCon, you can make connections and gather useful information from other attendees at the event. Ask people to give you quotes or establish connections and follow up with them later when you get home.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">5. Record an Episode at the Podcasting Stage</h2>



<p>We set up your mics, provide a digital recorder, and give you the chance to record your podcast LIVE at the conference. All you&#8217;ve got to do is show up to the Podcasting Stage and start recording. Special thanks to Moomoo for sponsoring the Pocasting Stages.</p>



<p>While you might not need much in terms of equipment, make sure you have an SD card. Use it to record, and then make sure to take it with you afterward.</p>



<p>Spots are limited, so make sure you sign up in advance. Information on sign-ups is released in advance in the FinCon Facebook groups, both the <a href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/362252247186456/">general one</a> and the <a href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/FinConPodcastNetwork/">group specifically for podcasters,</a> the FinCon app, and sent out in event update emails. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">6. Connect with Experts to Serve as Guests on Future Episodes of Your Podcast</h2>



<p>Discover new podcasters from the FinCon community! A conversation in the hallway or during a meetup could turn into a future podcast episode on your show. Create key relationships that will potentially get your foot in the door as a guest on other shows.</p>



<p>It&#8217;s true that big names drive big downloads, but what really matters are interesting conversations. Try to find someone who shares a story that will pique your listeners&#8217; interest. It&#8217;s an excellent way to differentiate your podcast from everyone else&#8217;s.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">7. Join the FinCon Podcast Network Facebook Group</h2>



<p>Money Nerd Podcasters UNITE! There are some great podcast-focused groups on Facebook, but none are as niche as the FinCon Podcast Network Facebook Group. It&#8217;s also a great way to connect with other podcasters both before and after the event. You&#8217;ll also find help on other podcasting-specific questions like, &#8220;What new mic should I buy?&#8221; or &#8220;Where can I find a guest to cover a specific topic?&#8221;</p>

Learn from the podcasting experts who will cover topics on workflows, securing sponsors, and increasing downloads. The podcasting sessions will be delivered digitally after the event, so you&#8217;ve got plenty of time to work through all the content.</p>



<p>In addition to accessing top-notch information, you also have a chance to meet other podcasters who are attending FinCon at the Platform Meetups. You can make plans to brainstorm, collaborate, and troubleshoot together. This is a great opportunity to start a mastermind and form new friendships.</p>

<p>Give yourself a chance to learn to podcast. Don&#8217;t get so hung up on equipment. Get started, go, make mistakes, and then act on them.</p>

Veteran podcasters who are both leading sessions and simply attending the event are likely more than happy to share with you what works and what didn&#8217;t when they got started.</p>
