Economy picking up.", url: "http://financemymoney.com/job-growth-of-243000-and-unemployment-drops-to-8-3-percent-economy-picking-up/" });]]> The economy is starting to pick up some steam in 2012.  Job growth was widespread in the latest report.  It can now be said that job growth is following a trend.  The trend is still on very fragile ground as Europe goes deeper into recession.  The US has now added jobs for well over a year and we have pulled back from the near double-digit unemployment rates of 2010.  It is a positive sign yet there are still many indicators to look at any be cautious about.  The economy still needs to add close to 200,000 jobs just to keep up with demographic growth.  Adding jobs is always a positive development and I’m certain that many unemployed Americans are looking forward to more reports like this one.

Over a year of job gains is definitely better than the years of massive job losses.

The Florida 2012 Primary should be no stunner for those who actually realize the economy is still a big giant mess.

Does this seem high or low to you?  Trying to get by on $500 a week isn’t exactly a walk in the park especially given the cost of items like food and healthcare increasing much faster than inflation.
